Unoffendable

I just wanna look in the camera as well, say welcome to all those who are online with us as well. And I wanna give a special shout out to some of my favorite people in the world today, the men and women watching from a correctional facility via God Behind Bars. Calvary Church, come on, like you've never had before. Come on, can we give them a big, a big welcome today? Hey, you guys aren't a project to us, you are family. And so our mission here is no one without Jesus. And we're so, so, so glad that you're here. Today we're in week number five of a series that's really based off of the preamble or the first introductory statements of the sermon on the Mount. This is the greatest sermon that Jesus ever preached. And it covers three chapters, Matthew 5, Matthew 6, and Matthew 7. But it begins with these eight, I call them counter-cultural and also transformational statements that really, if you apply these things, it actually has the power to change your life. And all of them start with this word, they start with the word blessed, meaning you're happy if you do these things. And happiness is just not happiness that the world actually manufactures. How many know happiness is a feeling, but joy is a choice? It's this deep internal fulfillment.

Come on, joy is not circumstantial. The joy of the Lord is your strength, meaning everything on the outside cannot look good. But if you have his joy and his peace, how many know you can still be happy? You can still be happy. And so our beatitude for today, it's a tough one. Get ready, all right? It's a rough one. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you and they say all kind of evil and nasty things about you for my sake, rejoice and be exceedingly glad for great is your reward in heaven. And so Jesus comes along and he says, there's some people that once they know that you're a follower of Jesus and once they see your lifestyle, they're going to insult you, they're going to mock you, they're going to make fun of you, and I need you to rejoice in that. I need you to be glad in that. I need you to respond in a different way than the world responds. And this beatitude, I'll be honest, the last couple of weeks have been great in this series, but this one probably calls us to some of the deepest teaching you'll ever hear. Not deep in that it's confusing.

You know, that's what most people think deep preaching is. I hear from time to time someone will come to me and say, Pastor Dan, you just need to preach longer. You need to go deeper on a Sunday morning. You need to preach deep in the Greek and you need to preach deep in the Hebrew and you need to preach for 50 minutes. And what they really mean is actually just say a whole bunch of words that we don't know and just confuse us. That's what they mean by deep. No, no, no, deep can be 20 minutes and it's something that we have in the Bible that's extremely clear, yet we have not done it yet with our lives. We've yet to grow in that area. And I'm just saying, I'm calling all of us. I am so thankful for what the Lord is doing in our church. I'm so thankful that every single week lost people are getting saved and marking it on their connect card. I'm so thankful for every baptism we have. I'm so thankful for party with the pastor today at 1.45 p.m. We're gonna party and if you're new to our church, you come out and we're gonna celebrate. But I'm also calling us as a church to a deeper place, a more mature place that says, you know what? I'm planted in the house of the Lord and I'm not only gonna just read the word, I'm gonna do what it actually says.

And that's why the apostle Paul can say these words that for Christ's sake, I delight in my weakness. I delight in the insults. I delight in the hardship. And there's our word because persecutions and difficulties are going to come. And look what happens. He says, when I go through that, even though I feel weak, I know this, I'm becoming more mature and Christ is my strength. Now notice this, the Sermon on the Mount actually continues far after the preamble, far after those eight beatitudes. And here's what the next line is in the Sermon on the Mount right after these eight beatitudes are shared. Now, you are the salt of the earth. In other words, if you do these eight things, you can go and make things taste better. But you can't make things taste better until you embrace these qualities first. Go now, go be the lights of the world. In the same way, let your light shine before men. Now, this is the hope of the beatitudes is that our church would not only hear the word, but we would do what it says, that the word of God transforms us from the inside out. And we look and live so much like Jesus that people actually see our good deeds. They see how they mock us, scorn us, act towards us. And they see how we just treat them back with the love of Jesus.

And they go, whoa, whoa, whoa, something's different about you. That they actually praise your Father in heaven. Translation, lost people get saved. Would anyone want it said of your life? that you looked and lived so much like Jesus that a world saw the way that you lived and said, I want the Jesus you have, that as a result of the way that you're living, lost people were saved through your lifestyle. And God's calling us to a different place as a church. Instead of responding to hatred with hate, instead of responding to persecution with acts of revenge back to people, that people would actually say, you know what? I'm gonna choose not to act in that way, even though it's been done to me. Y'all notice that we live in a very offended world today. Man, everyone is mad about everything. You hop on social media for one second, you're just gonna see a whole bunch of angry people on social media. You're gonna see people that just intentionally stir up debates, stir up arguments, stir up anger with one another. Proverbs says these words, an offended person becomes unyielding. So when someone offends you, you're just like, canceled you. Don't want anything to do with you.

Get out of my life, I don't wanna ever talk to you again. I'm gonna blast you on social media. So like forget you. And every time you do that, the writer says, you're building a wall around your heart. And you're not only building a wall around your heart towards that person, you're also building a wall around your heart towards God's ability to actually touch and work in and through your life. See, I believe this so much. Satan's goal is destruction, his strategy is division. Oh, but his tactic is offense. Let me say that again. Satan's goal is destruction, his strategy is division, but his tactic is offense. Oh, being offended, that's inevitable. But living offended, that's a choice. Being offended, oh, you are going to have offenses that happen against you. And I would say, if you are a follower of Jesus, get ready, it's coming. It's coming in some way, shape or form. Being offended is inevitable, but living offended is a choice. So what do you do about it? What do you do about it? I'm gonna give you four principles today. If you're taking notes, you can go ahead and write these down.

I truly believe the godly people in our church, they take notes. Come on, someone. People going to heaven, they take notes. That's in the Bible somewhere. I'll give that verse to you later, all right? No, no, but I'm gonna give you four principles today. And I'm gonna tell you, listen, they're challenging. This is not an easy message today. This is very challenging. Nothing inside of you is actually going to wanna do these things. But I'm telling you, if you will apply these things, it will change your life and it will change your world around you, all right? You're not gonna wanna do these things, but the writer says blessed. The Greek word is makarios. You'll be happy if you do these things. And it's not the world's happiness. It's manufactured in stuff or status or things. It's happiness that comes from Christ and Christ alone. You ready? All right, you said yes. Here we go, number one, if you're taking notes, and I sure hope you are, and that is this. We choose to overlook the offense. We choose to overlook the offense. Proverbs chapter 10 says it this way. Hatred stirs up conflict,

but love covers over all wrong things. You're kidding me? I'm supposed to love that person even though they said that thing about me? I'm supposed to love that person even though they did that to me or they did that to my family? Hatred stirs up conflict, but the Bible says, love covers over a multitude of sins. In fact, Proverbs 12 says it this way. When a fool is annoyed, they quickly let everyone know, you just made me mad. They have to tell the room. They have to tell everybody about what just happened. They stink up the room. Here, let me say it this way. You all know these people, right? There are some people that walk into a room and you are so glad that they're there. High fives all around, hugging everybody, smile on their face. You are so excited that they're there. They just light up the room. I love those people that just light up the room. Just happiness walks in the room. Joy walks in the room because they're there. I call those people thermostat people, not thermometer people, meaning they set the culture, not reflect based on what's happening in the room.

There are some people that walk into a room and you are so glad to see them. And then there are some people that walk out of a room and you are so glad that they left. They stink up the room. They let everybody know everything that's going on. Your boss brings correction to you at work and you've got to tell the whole office. Somebody mocks you on social media and you have to comment back. You just have to fight them. You just have to react. You just have to tell. You just have to fight. You just have to go back. But wise people look at an insult and they make a different choice, the writer says. They choose to ignore the insult. Proverbs 19 11 says it this way. A man's wisdom gives him patience. It's actually for his glory to overlook the offense. You know that? It's actually for your glory and my glory to overlook the offense. Because every offense comes with an invitation. The invitation is this, come down to my level and get angry just like I am. React like I'm reacting with you. And Jesus says, no, no, no. As followers of Jesus, we don't react with emotion.

We respond and we take the higher road. You don't have to attend to every argument you're invited to. The first one is this. Number one, you choose to overlook the offense. Here's the next one. And that's this. When you're persecuted, number two, we've got to keep our heart free from bitterness and unforgiveness. We've got to keep our hearts free from bitterness and unforgiveness. Let me say something about bitterness and unforgiveness for a moment. It's a dream stopper. It's a dream stopper. I don't know of anything that can destroy your life more and destroy the life of those around you than you holding anger, holding bitterness, holding resentment. You ever met a person that's just so angry, so bitter, you ask them one thing, they just can't wait to just dump it all on you. Somebody's saying, Pastor Dan, what do you do about that then? I don't want to hold that bitterness. I don't want to hold that anger. I don't want to hold that resentment. I love Jesus in his teaching for us of how to actually pray. He gives us the Lord's prayer. And the Lord's prayer was given to us not as a passage of verses to memorize and just recite. It was given to us as seven elements, outlines that you're actually supposed to spend time on each element and pray through that. And so as I go through my day, I say, our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. And I take a couple moments and I lift up the name of Jesus. I praise the name of Jesus.

God, I thank you that you're awesome. God, I thank you that you're alive. I thank you that you're King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Give us this day our daily bread. Now I'm going to present my needs to the Lord. I'm going to tell him the things that are on my heart. And if you pray through it that way, you'll reach this part of the prayer where it says, forgive us our sins as we forgive what? Say it with me. Those who trespass against us. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who've sinned against us. And by the way, that's the correct translation of that verse. It literally says, Lord, forgive me because I'm also now in the process of doing the same for others. In other words, I'm not going to wait. I'm not going to make them earn it. I'm not even going to decide whether or not their intentions were right or wrong. No, no, no. As a follower of Jesus, I'm going to pre-decide that because my God has forgiven me of all of my sins, past, present, and future, I'm going to forgive even in advance of what is going to happen today. And so I will literally do this as I pray through the Lord's prayer during my quiet time with the Lord. When I get to that portion where it says, God, forgive us our sins as we forgive those who trespass against us. I take time and I confess my sins to the Lord. I say, God, if there's something that's broken your heart yesterday that I've done, God, I ask you to forgive me. And then I just pre-decide. I just even pray out, God, I'm going to forgive those even in advance who are going to hurt

me today. God, before I drive down 295 today, I just forgive that person who's just going to cut me off in traffic. They're not going to mean it. They're not going to know what they're doing. I just forgive them in advance. Lord, ahead of those emails and those texts that I received today, good or bad, Lord, I'm just going to forgive that person. Come on, somebody, because he's been so gracious to you. He's been so generous to you. He's been so kind, loving. Come on, who's thankful today that God has forgiven you of all of your sins? While you were still a sinner, he paid the price for your sins. Now you pre-decide ahead of time, I'm going to forgive others today. Ahead of whatever happens, I'm just going to forgive. I love what Colossians 3.13 says. It says you're to make an allowance. What's an allowance? It's money I'm giving you so that you can spend that later. And the Bible says you're going to make an allowance for each other's faults. I'm just going ahead and say, you know what? I've already made room for that offense. It's already taken care of. I've already accounted for it, and I'm already choosing to forgive. I'm going to walk in forgiveness even though they lie about me, even though they cheat me, even though they betray me, because to forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover all along that prisoner is us. Here's the third one today. If you're persecuted, falsely accused, slandered, gossiped about, it's going to happen. Get ready for it.

Number one, we assume positive intent. That person didn't mean it, they didn't know what's going on, or they're hurting. Have you realized that hurting people hurt people? Hurt people hurt people. But as followers of Jesus, forgiven people forgive others, and I'm going to walk in forgiveness. And then before anything is ever said or spoken or done, I'm going to forgive them in advance. And then Jesus even calls us to a higher level. Watch out, Calvary Church. He ratchets it up even another level. So get ready. And that's number three. Our response is to not repay evil for evil. Our response is actually pray for, to bless, and to do good to them. Number three, we're called to pray, bless, and do good. I call it the spiritual trifecta. Like you pray, like when you hurt me, you know what I'm going to do? My response is I'm going to pray for that person. I'm going to pray for that person. Got it, Pastor Dan. Sounds good. Next time that someone hurts me, I'm going to pray for them. You know that person that just took advantage of me? Years and years and years. They've been doing wrong to me over and over. I am going to pray for them. That's good advice, Pastor Dan. I pray that they get healed. hemorrhoids in Jesus' name. I pray that they lose their job. I'll pray those things.

No, no, no. To bless them means we speak well of them. We pray blessings over them. And then we find something good in a way that we can serve them and we do it for them. Now when Jesus is speaking in this passage of scripture, he's speaking to a Roman audience, he's also speaking to a Jewish audience. And the Romans are in charge in this culture. The Romans actually had a God of revenge. They worshiped revenge in this culture. Think about that. And the Jewish principle, they had this principle out of the Old Testament called eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth. In other words, what they were saying is you do this to me and then I can do this back to you. Even so many Old Testament laws were based upon if you did this, then this would happen back to you. You hurt me and then I get to hurt you. I owe that to you. And Jesus comes along. I always love the standard that Jesus holds because in the New Testament, he always raises the standard. And on the Sermon on the Mount, he says, you've heard it said eye for eye and tooth for tooth. But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. If anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. Now here's how I wish that verse actually went. This is the Pastor Dan standard version. This is how I wish that verse went. You ready for it? Stick it to your enemies.

Gossip about those who hate you. Give the finger to those who curse you. I'm not saying that's what I do. I'm just saying sometimes that's how I feel. Come on, can I be real today? Spill the tea all over social media about someone who mistreats you. Set the record straight. Tell them it's not true. If someone slaps you on the cheek, you chokeslam them for the glory of God in Jesus' name. Listen, that's what I wish Jesus would have said, but that's not what he said. That's not what Jesus said. That is because the wisdom of God is wiser than the foolishness of men. And Jesus knows, listen to me, church, listen to me, church. There are some of you today that are bound, held captive. And I'm telling you, if you stay in that bitterness, if you stay in that offense, if you stay in that anger, if you stay in that resentment, if you allow those thoughts to keep holding you captive in your mind, you're going to die in a prison of offense. But Jesus says these words, I came to set the captives free. And so he's saying, I'm not asking you to pray for those people and bless them and do good for their sake. I'm actually asking you to pray for them and to bless them and do good for your sake. I want you to be free. He's saying the most important things as followers of Jesus is not only our freedom, but the most important thing as followers of Jesus is that to a lost and dying world, by the way that we respond to the world and their actions, that people would actually see Jesus. And I'm telling you, how beautiful would it be in your workplace? How beautiful would it be in your community? How beautiful would it be in your family as you get together in upcoming seasons and events where there's strain and where there's tension and where there's issues, if you actually serve them with the love of Jesus, even though they keep hurting you.

I'm telling you, the Bible says, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Not just pray for, bless and speak well of them. Everyone look at me. Eyes up for one moment. Look at me. Look at me. Look at me. I'm calling us to be mature this year. I'm calling us to grow. Stop cursing people. Stop speaking ill of people in this church. Stop speaking ill of people that you don't like at your workplace. Stop it. Stop it. Stop gossiping. Stop tearing people down on social media. Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouth, but only that which is building one another's up. You stop cursing and let's be a church that lifts and blesses people in Jesus' name. First Peter 3.9 says it this way, do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing because this is what you're called to. Why? That you might inherit a blessing. Stop repaying evil for evil. Be careful to do what's right in the eyes of everyone. And if it's possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, it says, but leave room. Watch this. Leave room for God's wrath. In other words, if you're a follower of Jesus and you're actually surrendered and submitted

to him and actually practicing what scripture says, in other words, in the end, God will settle the score. You don't have to do it for it's written, this is Romans 12 verse 19, it is mine to avenge and I will repay, God says. On the contrary, he goes on, he says, if your enemy is hungry, go and feed them. Bring them some groceries. If he's thirsty, give them something to drink. And in doing this, you're heaping burning coals on their heads. Some of you are hearing that verse and you're saying, that sounds good to me, Pastor Dan. Someone offends me. Someone cheats me. Someone takes advantage of me. Someone persecutes me. mocks me, oh, I'm just gonna pray for them. I'm gonna pray that they get hemorrhoids. I'm gonna pray that they lose their job and then I'm gonna light them on fire. Burn, baby, burn, coals on their head. I'm ready for it. That's not what the writer means by saying that. Burning coals in this culture was the greatest commodity a person could possess because they did not have stoves. So they had to keep the fire burning. They had to keep the coals warm to keep their house warm, to be able to cook, to be able to do chores if they needed warm water. And if it went out in the middle of the night, you were in trouble. It took almost 24 hours to get that fire lit up again

and all those coals hot again. And so they would not be able to cook for their families. So this was essential to maintaining a household in this culture. And if someone mismanaged their coals, if they stayed, if they were not able to stay hot and they became cold, they would go out and let the community know and a neighbor would come and would heap burning coals and would help them because their fire had went out. So when you're offended, when you're persecuted, when you're falsely accused, our minds don't go to, how should we pay revenge to this person? Our mind actually goes as a follower of Jesus, what is their greatest need right now and how can I meet it? Because the Bible says, we're not gonna overcome evil with evil. We're gonna overcome evil with what? Come on, say it with me. We're gonna overcome evil with? Come on, can I hear a good amen someone? I'm asking us to mature in this season from spiritual infancy to what mature Christians look like. I really believe this. We can change the world. We can impact our community, but it starts when we start doing what Jesus's word actually says. And the last one, quite honestly,

it needs a series all in itself. The last one, in my opinion, is the single greatest key to happiness here on earth. And that is this number four. You don't put it all in earth. You have your sights set on heaven. You have your sights set on eternity. And number four, you remember the eternal reward. You remember the eternal reward. When Jesus finished the eight beatitudes, you remember what he said? He said, blessed are those who falsely accuse you, persecute you and insult you, last beatitude. And then the next line, he says this, for great is your reward in heaven. God bless you. For great is your reward in heaven. What he was saying is this. What he was saying is this. The successful people in life, the really successful people in life, the ones that have it all figured out are not the ones that put all of their eggs in the basket of planet earth and it just all has to work out for me. They're satisfied actually to say, no, no, no, I'm gonna have delayed gratification because one day is coming where I'm gonna be in heaven and I'm gonna receive my reward for every time I did right according to the word of God.

Every time I served, every time I prayed, every time I blessed and one day is coming where we'll be in eternity with no more weeping and no more hurting and no more gossip and no more slander and no more cancer or diabetes or death. And one day is coming where we'll be on a street of gold in a mansion where we'll receive our reward for what we did right here on earth. And I think the greatest person that could exemplify what this actually looks like lived out here on earth that had a lifestyle model for eternity is the apostle Paul in scripture. I mean, just think about Paul, if you know the Bible and know anything about Paul's life. Paul has the moral authority to speak on this like no other because if you look at 2 Corinthians 11, this man was brutalized in his life. He had 39 lashes, five different times, one short of death every single time. Paul is shipwrecked, he's snake bitten, he's beaten with rods, he's imprisoned, he was stoned and I'm not talking like this kind of stoned, I'm talking about with rocks. Sometimes when I preach this, I'll say, Paul was stoned. Somebody will come up to me after service and be like, well, Pastor Dan, at least he got a little relief, you know what I'm saying? I'm like, not that kind of relief, literal rocks impaled to a man. So clarity is kindness, I'm just helping to clarify.

So Paul says these words in 2 Corinthians 4, 8-9, he says, I'm hard pressed on every single side. I'm perplexed, but not in despair. I'm persecuted, but not abandoned. I've been struck down, but I'm not destroyed. How can you have all of those bad things happening to you? How could you have all of that mocking, all of that scorning, all of that literal persecution and still say these things? Don't miss his answer, 2 Corinthians 4-19, for our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that outweighs them all. Come on, look at me right now. Is your earth right here more important than your heaven up there? See, I've just decided with my life, how about you? If it doesn't matter there, I'm not gonna let it bother me here. Because if your earth outweighs heaven, earth is gonna kick your tail every single time. But if you have heaven in your sight, if you've got your eyes fixed on heaven, come on someone, it is all going to work out. My Bible says Romans 8, 28, he takes all things, works them together for good. For those that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. I'm not living my life right now for approval of man on earth. I'm living my life one day

to stand before the King of Kings and hear well done my good and faithful servant. Great is your reward in heaven. And so I have a really intentional end to this message actually, I planned it weeks ago. Because truthfully, my first thought as I was preparing for this message, building a house that lasts and we're talking about persecution and being persecuted. My first thought was this very truthfully, can I be honest with you today? My first thought was this, there ain't any persecution happening in our church. You American Christian in an air conditioned room with the freedom to go to one of four services. I provided four service options of times that you can go to in your air condition. Come on, you stood up in front of your closet today with the mirror and you said, don't know what I'm gonna wear to church today. I don't have any outfits. When you clearly have plenty of outfits to get here to church. Most of us are of course gonna have three meals today. We had some form of transportation that got us to church and we did not pay any mind or any thought to the fact that literally across the world, there are literally people who could be persecuted. Their lives could be taken for doing what we're doing right now.

And so I just thought it would be important for us to actually take a moment in our service today to honor the missionary and the martyr. Come on, can we put our hands together and honor those that literally are giving their lives or are willing to give their lives for the sake of the gospel to go forward. Come on, really let heaven hear you today. Come on and roar today. Come on, that's right. So there's a story of a man named Jim Elliot who was born in the 1920s, who lost his life in Ecuador, trying to spread the gospel to a tribe, a remote village of Ecuador that had never heard the name of Jesus before. He and his four buddies, five people in total were speared to death. Movie actually has come out, it's called the End of the Spear if you ever wanna see it. And Jim Elliot's wife after he passed wrote this autobiography and included some of his quotes. And I'll close this message with this last quote. He said this, he is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose. He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose. Man, I've been so encouraged hearing this story of Xavier Taylor and his family. I don't know about you, I've been so encouraged.

Talking to his mom on the phone the other day, you know what she said? I said, man, you must be really going through it right now. You must be really strong. She said, Pastor Dan, seeing people gather to pray together that would never pray before on a baseball field has blessed me so much. She said, Pastor Dan, seeing rallies outside of our hospital and people turning their lives over, surrendering to Jesus, it has blessed me so much. And she said, if it had to happen to Xavier so that people could come to Jesus, it would be worth it. I am like, Lord, this faith of this lady is inspiring me of these parents. Son in critical condition, how can she say that? How can she say that? Because she doesn't have her life all built in what happens here. She knows one day she's gonna see him in eternity. Her friends and family are gonna be in eternity. What she cares about is lost people knowing Jesus today. And so that's why my call to you as a church, wow, what a beautiful season that we are in as a church. Man, if you're not serving, four service options. Now's a beautiful time to serve on the dream team. Now's a beautiful time to step in and join the dream team and come to Lifetrack. Now's a beautiful time. You know what we're gonna do? July 19th, I'm gathering all of our church.

I don't care if you like outreach or not. This is the one time once a year where we all serve. July 19th, we're having serve day. And we're gonna have projects all over the community. We're going to Kensington, to the Dream Center. We're going to Camden at New Life Church. We're gonna do projects for them. We're going to Habitat for Humanity. Why? Because we're not just living just for the benefits of this earth and what we can get now. Every time we serve the least of these, the Bible says you do it unto the Lord. We're storing up treasure in heaven for all of eternity because followers of Jesus give, followers of Jesus serve, and followers of Jesus fish for lost people. You've got your eyes fixed on eternity. It's not just about the offense that's gonna come now. We're bigger than the offense. God's called us to bigger things, amen? Come on, do you receive it today? Well, bow your heads, let me pray for you today. And so God, I just thank you right now that every time we turn our eyes to you, God, we're not fixed on just what is going on right now. We've got our eyes fixed on eternity. One day, no more weeping, no more hardship, no more pain, no more hurt. Maybe you're here today and you just feel far from God.

You don't know God. Maybe right now your life even feels like hell. You're going through it. I'm telling you, there is a peace and a joy that as you're going through it, You walk through the deepest valley you're going to find peace and joy in your life. that only Jesus can bring. Do you know that you're only one heartfelt prayer You're going to find peace and joy in your life. away from being a follower of Jesus? You're going to find peace and joy in your life. Like this is not religion to us, this is relationship with the God who loves you and has a plan for you and has a purpose for you. Surrender right now in this moment. Come on, pray with me something like this. Come on, everyone pray so that no one prays alone. Say, Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross, paying the price for my sin. Just say it right now, today I receive this gift and I make you the Lord of my life. Come on, just say it with me.
