“Today You Will Be With Me In Paradise” - Seven Last Words - Part 2

Paradise. What comes to mind when you read that word? A breathtakingly beautiful tropical island? A place without pain and suffering? 

As Jesus hung on the cross- blameless yet enduring unimaginable agony- he turned to a criminal being crucified beside Him and spoke these powerful words- “Today, you will be with me in Paradise”.  Here’s the incredible part- that criminal knew he was guilty. He knew he was getting what he deserved. And yet in that moment, Jesus still offered him salvation- undeserved, unearned, yet freely given.  

And He offers the same to us today.  

This week, in "Seven Last Words: Today You Will Be With Me In Paradise", Pastor Stu invites us to reflect on why Jesus spoke those words. At the heart of it all, Jesus cares for you. It’s the very reason He came, suffered, and died—to bring you the hope of eternity with Him.
