“My God, My God, Why? ” - Seven Last Words - Part 4

Do you ever wonder *why* bad things happen to you?  

Maybe you’re wrestling with questions like these- 

Why am I facing loss? Why was I betrayed? Why am I battling illness? Why did my marriage fall apart? Why did I lose my job? In life’s hardest moments, we often find ourselves asking, "Why?" If that’s where you are right now,you’re not alone.  

Even Jesus asked why. 

As He hung on the cross, beaten, bleeding, and in unimaginable pain, He cried out: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

Of all the words He spoke on the cross, this was His only question. It was a moment so dark, it seemed like death had won. But it hadn’t. There will be moments in life when we don’t understand why we’re facing struggles, but Jesus’ story didn’t end in suffering—it ended in victory. And because of Him, our struggles don’t get the final say either.
