THIRD DAY

Let's stand and worship this morning. It's the only way forward. It's a narrow road that leads to life, but I want to be on it. It's a narrow road, but the mercy is wide. It's a good and a promise. I'll take you at your word. If you said it, I believe it. I've seen how good it was. If you started, you're completed. I'll take you at your word. You spoke, and the chaos fell in. Well, I know, because I've seen it in my life. It's a narrow road that leads to life, but I want to be on it. It's a narrow road, the tide is high, but you're brought in the water. I believe this is a moment right now. Come on, everybody, just stay focused right here in this moment. That this morning, I don't think it was a coincidence that my devotional was about the second verse that Maddie sang. Teach us to discern the moment, Lord, that just like Mary. In John chapter 12, it says this, it says, Let's just take a moment right now and fill this house with the fragrance of love for our savior. That God, it's not about what you've given me, that just like Mary, it said that that oil was worth a year's wages. If we could say that was worth $50,000, it doesn't matter what's going on in my life. No matter what I have, it doesn't matter who's around me right now. Let's feel the fragrance in the room of Jesus, my love for you. I pour out everything on your feet right now, Lord. Somebody in the room needs to get at the savior's feet today. I don't know what's going on in your life. I don't know who's around you. I don't know your prayers, but right now, let's just take a moment to say, Jesus, I love you. Let's just take a moment if you haven't in a while. Jesus, we love you. Come on, put it at his feet. You deserve everything that we have, Lord. I love you today. If we haven't told you in a while, we love you. We love you, Jesus. This church loves you, Lord. If we've known you for decades, or if we don't know you, we come to your feet right now. Save you. Come on, church. We love you, Jesus. Jesus, we love you. My soul dreams to stay. Jesus, we love you. My soul lives to stay. Jesus, I love you. Thank you for your presence, Jesus. Thank you that no matter who else is in the room, you see us bowing down before you, pouring it out on your feet, Lord. Thank you that you hear and you see each individual in this room right now.

That your eyes connect with somebody's eyes and somebody's soul in this room this morning. That we understand who you are. We understand the moment that we're in. That this is a special moment. It's not just another Sunday. It's not just to get good and to make sure that we're seen by people. But we have a moment right now connecting with the Son of God, the Savior of the world. And we love you, Jesus. Thank you that you loved us first. Come on, if you love Jesus, make some noise for him right now in the room. Come on. Come on. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Come on. Amen. How many of you are glad to be here? Yep. Awesome. Well, we're in this Easter series and it's titled Sunday's Coming. I want to go ahead and look at our theme verse. It's found in Psalm 100 verses 1 and 2. If you have your Bibles, let's go ahead and turn there. Psalms 100, 1 and 2. I'm going to read out of the NLT version. David says, shout with joy to the Lord all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him singing with joy. You know, this is David instructing the nation Israel on how to enter the presence of the Lord. How many of you realize there's a protocol on how to enter the presence of the Lord? Amen. You guys realize that David said, when we show up at the house of the Lord, that we should show up with a shout. Come on somebody. Give him a shout right now. Oh, I've heard you at the UT games.

You do better than that over at Nalens Stadium. Come on, let's give him a shout today. Come on. Hallelujah. There you go. Amen. Yeah, that's what David said. He said, shout with joy. He said, worship with gladness and then sing with joy as well. Today, the title of the message, come on somebody. I heard, I heard a toddler back there shouting, give me another one of those. That's awesome. I love that. The title of the message today is third day. I was putting some prayer into the message and I felt like the Lord said, I want you titled this message in the series third day. How many of you in the house remember the band third day? Come on, let me see your hand. Hold your hand up if you remember the band third day. Okay. If you don't remember the band third day, put your hand down. Okay. Now, if you don't remember the band third day, raise your hand. Look around here. There's about half. Do you realize it's been 30 years? I mean, where does time go? 30 years, but Connie and I, we had the privilege of meeting Mac Powell, the founder of third day several years ago, along with several of the elders in the church and their wives.

And, uh, I mean, great guy, incredible. I mean, he loves the Lord. He loves to worship. And, and so I was just, uh, as I titled the message third day, I was just curious, is third day band still around? They are. Somebody said, come on. They are. Yeah. As a matter of fact, they are. And they're doing this year. They're doing a 30th anniversary. Uh, and it started maybe this weekend. It's starting in Florida. So anyway, pretty cool group third day. But anyway, the third day is mentioned multiple times throughout the Bible. New Testament and Old Testament. And I'm going to be sharing a lot of passages today. So if you have your Bibles, your phones, you might want to keep up. It'll also be on the screen. But we're going to start with 1 Corinthians chapter 15, verses 1 through 4. 1 Corinthians 15, 1 through 4. This is Paul talking to the Corinthian church. And he says, And he goes on to say, And now I've highlighted a couple words here in the remainder of this passage. That Christ died for our sins. How many of you glad that He died for our sins? Amen. Praise the Lord for that.

According to the... Now, according to the Scriptures. Key words. Verse 4. Now what I've done here is I've underlined according to the Scriptures. Because the Scriptures that they had, the New Testament had not been compiled yet. Okay? So anytime you see Paul referencing the Scriptures or Jesus referencing the Scriptures, what they're referencing is the Hebrew Bible. They're talking about the Old Testament. Okay? Again, as I said earlier, the New Testament had not been compiled yet. And so Luke 24, we're going to see Jesus reference the Hebrew Bible. Look at Luke 24, 46. Then He said to them, Thus it is written. Again, He's referencing the Hebrew Bible. And thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead. Help me with these last three words. The third day. Okay, the third day. So right here, two different instances. Old Testament, New Testament. I mean, Paul and Jesus both referencing the Old Testament. So I began to search. I was looking for where are the passages in the Old Testament, in the Hebrew Bible, that tell us about the Messiah dying, being buried, and then rising on the third day. Now, what we need to understand is that the Old Testament has a lot of topology, patterns, prophetic foreshadowing, and biblical symbolism. There's a lot of it throughout the Scripture.

And I believe that Paul's reference to the resurrection on the third day actually falls into this category. Okay? Because again, when you look for those specific words, that the Messiah is going to die, be buried, and rise on the third day, I'm not sure I can't find those exact words. But again, when we look at the topology, we understand that it's there. Or Jesus and Paul wouldn't have both referenced it. So what I want to do is share three of these patterns with you today. The first one is this. I want to share the figurative resurrection of Isaac on the third day. Okay? We're talking about the third day. The figurative resurrection of Isaac on the third day. Look at Genesis 22 too. Then he said, Again, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I shall tell you. Do you see the biblical symbolism here to Christ? Where he said your only son. Now we know that Abraham had more than one son, right? But he had one son with the promise associated to it, and that was Isaac. So now look at John 3.16. And most of you can quote this. For God so loved the world that what? Help me here. His only begotten son,

that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. So again, right here we see this pattern, this symbolism. Old Testament, New Testament. Look at Genesis 22.6. So Abraham, he gets this command from the Lord to offer up his son Isaac as a sacrifice to God. So Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and he laid it on Isaac, his son, on his back, and he took the fire in his hand and a knife, and the two of them went together. So I want again you to see the typology right here with Isaac. Isaac is carrying the very thing that he's going to be laid on and offered up as a sacrifice. Okay, let's go to the New Testament now. John 19.17. It said... Carrying his own cross. This is Jesus taking the wood again upon his back very similar to Isaac He went out to the place of the skull which in Aramaic is called Golgotha and Jesus was crucified Buried but rose on the third day. How many of you guys are glad for the resurrection of Jesus today? Amen Now Again we see Jesus referencing the third day the resurrection we see Paul referencing it Now let's look at it in and in one of the cases where the referencing is in this case with Isaac Look at Genesis chapter 22 verse 4 Then on what? Then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place afar off So what Abraham was doing is he had taken his son Isaac they were climbing the mountain He's following through on this sacrifice that God told him to do and so when he gets up on the mountain

He ties up Isaac He binds him with cords and he lays him on the wood that Isaac had had carried Okay, he draws the knife out To follow through he's following through there's there's no stop. He's following through he draws the knife out and right in the middle I can imagine as he's coming down with the knife the angel of the Lord stops him and said no He said no that God was just testing him to see if he truly had faith in Jehovah God amen, and so the angel of the Lord stops him. There's a ram that's that's over hung up in the thicket That was the sacrifice all along God placed the ram there God knew the ram would be there He brings the ram over and he offers up the the sacrifice So in saying that I'm gonna say that Isaac was the same as dead on The third day are you guys with me again? I think this is a typology of what Jesus was referencing So now let's look at Hebrews chapter 11 verses 17 through 19 It said by faith Abraham Now the referencing the Old Testament by faith Abraham when he was tested He offered up Isaac and he who had received the promises Offered up his only begotten son of whom it was said in Isaac your seed shall be called Concluding check this out that God was able to raise him up Even from the dead from which he also received him in a figurative sense So again Isaac was the same as dead and God resurrected Isaac from that altar Are you guys with me figuratively speaking according to the Hebrews prophet or the Hebrews author? He said that he was Figuratively raised from the dead So again as Jesus and Paul is referencing the third day the resurrection this is one of the cases right here With Isaac, but but all of us just like Isaac We were all the same as dead before we accepted Christ Are you guys with me today every single single one of us were dead in our sins But what happened on the third day figuratively resurrected all of us, so we're alive today Can I hear an amen and then when Jesus comes back? We're gonna be resurrected Figuratively and literally so now let's go to the second typology pattern from the Old Testament I wanted to reference the second one is the resurrection of Jonah You remember the story of Jonah on the third day?

Jonah ran from the call of God God told Jonah gave him Specific instructions. Here's what I want you to do and here's where I want you to go I want you to go to Nineveh. I want you to preach to these people Jonah didn't like the people of Nineveh He didn't want to go and preach there. So what did he do? He went the opposite direction He's heading toward Tarsus and he gets on a ship and he's leaving and as he's out there. We know the story There's a storm that comes the ship is about to go under about to sink and Jonah realizes It's all my fault. It's because I'm running from God. God's trying to get my attention So he tells the people if you want the storm to stop Essentially, he's saying you need to throw me overboard and it's like, okay, they did that and and so As a result of that he swallowed by a big fish What's incredible is he came out alive and he became became an instrument of Nineveh's salvation I want you to look at Jonah chapter 1 verse 17. He said now the Lord had prepared Just like the Ram God had prepared the Ram now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah Jonah was in the belly of the fish help me here Three days and three nights God does big things on the third day He was there three days and three nights now the Bible doesn't say what I'm getting ready to say Okay, I'm reading into it. This is my opinion. I believe Jonah died in the belly of the fish again That's debatable and we're not going to debate it today that's just what I believe that he died there and so One of the the reasons is found in Jonah chapter 2 verse 2 take a look at this And he said to me and he said I cried out to the Lord because of my affliction And he answered me out of the belly of Sheol I cried and you heard my voice Sheol is the Hebrew word for the abode of the dead Okay, and if you go in and you read in Jonah, you're gonna you're gonna hear him Explain what it was like in the belly of the fish He talks about what sounds like the seaweeds and the darkness and everything surrounding him and it sounds to me like death now

Whether again, he physically died or not We know that on the third day that he's alive and he goes and he does exactly what God called him to do and he preaches To Nineveh now, let's look at Matthew chapter 12 verse 39 and 40s go the New Testament see what Jesus had to say about this he said but he answered and said to them an Evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign and no sign will be given it except the sign of death Listen to this the Prophet Jonah for as Jonah was what? Three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish So will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth? So here we see the parallel of Jonah's resurrection Jesus compares what Jonah went through to what he was preparing to go through The three days in the three nights and so so so again when we see Jesus Referencing the Hebrew Bible we see Paul referencing the Hebrew Bible. They were referencing Isaac They were also referencing Jonah here. And so God does big things on day three. Amen the third parallel that I want you to look at is The salvation hold on just one second. Yeah is the salvation of Israel I want you to look at the salvation of Israel and a decree Had went out over the land of Persia The decree was that all the Israelites were to be killed from the very youngest to the oldest it happened and There was a man by the name of Haman Haman had devised this plan because of his hatred toward a Jewish man by the name of Mordecai So Haman had devised the plan the date was set It was set for the 13th day of the 12th month of Adar Okay, that's the Jewish calendar. And so I want you to I want you to pay close attention This decree was written by the Probably by Haman, but it was sealed by the king the king's signet ring Sealed this decree. So the Israelites were going to die on the 13th day of the 12th month of Adar It was going to happen

Everything was in place for the total annihilation and destruction for Israel There was only one person in the land that could stand in the gap One person and her name was Esther. Okay, many of you have read this, but I want I want to bring it back to your remembrance Esther was the queen of Persia okay, God had elevated her God had raised her up and Esther was as I said earlier the only one that could stand in the gap But for her to do that she was going to have to risk her life she was going to have to lay down her life to do that on behalf of her nation and so Initially, she wasn't crazy about it. I mean she's in her prime. She's in her prime age. She's just been selected Queen And Mordecai's telling her you're the only one that can stay that can rescue us and she's not so sure about it But then you remember the words that Mordecai said well, listen, maybe you were born for such a time as this Maybe it was maybe that's the whole purpose that God allowed us to go into bondage that you've been prepared That you're beautiful that you're a beautiful girl that God's elevated you to the queen of Persia of Persia, maybe you're the reason. So she eventually, she looks into it and she finds out the decree truly is set. Israel's going to die. All of her ancestors are going to die. It's already in writing. It's going to happen. Israel is the same as dead. And so as a result of this, Esther gets with Mordecai and says, listen, I want you to get together and I want you to start praying. I want you to start fasting. I want you, because she had decided in her mind, I'm going to stand before the king. Now listen to me. If you went before the king and you were not petitioned, there's two things that can happen. The king can accept you and welcome you in, or the king can have you put to death. And that's the two options. Okay? And she realized that. And I'm sure she's thinking, well, I'm a young lady. I have so much going for me. But you know what? God, if I was born for such a time as this, then I'm going to be obedient and I'm going to do what you've called me to do. But before she would go before the king, she said, I need you praying. I need you to get people praying. I need you fasting. I want to share this with you guys today. Prayer is so important in your life. I can't put enough emphasis on how important prayer is. Prayer changes things. It changes situations. I'll give you an example in

my life. 19 years being your pastor. Over the years, I've had some unpleasant meetings with people, maybe that had issues with the church or issues with whatever. The music, the carpet, whatever it may be. But I've had those meetings over the years. And what I've learned is there's one thing that changes the entire scenario when it comes to these meetings. And what it is, is I've learned that when I'm going into a meeting that I realize has the potential to go south. Anybody ever had one of those meetings? Okay, I think all of us had. Whether it's at work, it's at home, it's in church, it's wherever. It's like this has the potential to not go well. So here's the first thing that I do, is I get a hold of my wife and I'll say, Connie, I need you praying at one o'clock on so-and-so date. Because I'm going into a meeting and I don't know how it's gonna go. And my wife prays. And I know for certain that during that time I'm walking into that meeting, that somebody is praying for me. Somebody's on their knees calling out, God, let this work out. Don't let it go south. Don't let it be something negative. But turn it around. Shift it. Change the heart. Let pastor say the right words or whatever it may be. But not only do I call my wife, but there's, I've got about three people in our church that I have a lot of confidence in. I know that if they say I'm praying for you, they are praying for me. And so I get with them as well. And I cover that. And here's what I've experienced over the years. That every single time that I step into one of those meetings, whatever that situation, maybe I'll even be church related, but every single time I get a favorable result. Why? Because God knew that I honored him and I trusted him and I called on him. And he'll do that for all of you. I encourage you today. Take this home with you. When you are dealing with something, work, business, whatever it may be, make sure that your spouse, if you're married, that your spouse is covering you in prayer. Make sure you have some key people. Listen to me. It's important that you have this because it changes everything. I can tell you firsthand, it is a game changer. Okay? So, so Esther here realizes I may lose my life. And so she gets with, with Mordecai and different people and said, I need you fasting and I need you praying. And they

did just that. So now I want you to put yourself in Esther's shoes. Now is the day. Now's the time. It's Esther chapter five, verse one. Now it happened on, now it happened on the third day. That Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king's palace, across from the king's house, while the king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, facing the entrance of the house. Now I want you to notice right here. It said, and it happened. And it happened on the third day. Israel is the same as dead. Are you guys with me? The decree's out. The king has put his seal on it. It's going to happen. They're dead Esther's the only chance she's the only hope and now here she stands She comes before the king and if you could imagine him up on his throne and she stands I'm sure in this hallway Not no one if she if he points the scepter and says come forward then she's found favor But if he says died, then you must die. She walks up there knowing God has her back. Come on somebody Knowing that this is a sacrifice I'm risking my life. She steps up and the king favorably Points the scepter at her and calls her forward. This is a type of Christ She laid down her life For her nation for her people and so it's on the third day The king calls her forward and when she comes forward she exposes The plan of Haman are you guys with me? She exposes it and explains to the king exactly. It's a it's a sort of a long story but exactly what his plan was that his plan was to destroy the Jews and God used Esther to save Israel on the third day So when Jesus and Paul are referencing this third day and the resurrection its Typologies that they're referencing and we need to understand that I've had some people say well Why didn't God just make it plain and spell it out? So we all knew exactly what was going to happen from the Old Testament to the New Testament I want to say this is because God's Word is spiritually discerned People that are that have wisdom from this world may read something and not get it and a young child Who's born again who has the Spirit of God living in them can read the same passage and know exactly what God's saying to them

That's the way God works And so it's exposed now. I want you to understand something for 2,400 years plus Israel Continues to celebrate this day This third day you guys with me as a matter of fact, they have a feast now. It's called the Feast of Purim P-u-r-i-m. It's pronounced Purim and And so they're celebrating it I want you to see the typology here ancient Persia the king of Persia The the area of Persia is modern-day, Iran You guys with me. Have you heard I ran in the news lately? Okay, it's a matter of fact It's it's been only less than a hundred years that the that Persia the region of Persia's name was changed to Iran It was 1935 So for all these years it was Persian now, it's Iran for 2,400 years Israel's been celebrating that the king of Persia didn't follow through and annihilate all the Jews I don't know if you realize this but modern-day Iran they have slogans Such as death to Israel They also have political rhetoric rhetoric That's Israel is the little Satan and the United States is the great Satan. Have you heard any of that? This is a real thing. I Personally believe today That the same spirit that drove Haman to destroy the nation Israel is still alive and well It's called the Prince of Persia Do you remember when when Daniel was praying praying to God and and and the angel Michael comes down? He said I heard you the first day you prayed But I was in a battle. Who's he battling with somebody help me. It was the Prince of Persia He said I was battling it's it's these battles in the spiritual war things that are unseen

There was a battle going on those. Listen to me those spirits those angels those demonic angels They don't die They're still alive and well okay, and I want you to hear this today because I don't know if you know this but when Israel and the United States Attacked Iran it happened during the season of Purim 2400 years ago now, I know I know there's some people would say well Pacer you're just a Christian nationalist or you're this or you're that or whatever and I've had people ask me about that I want you to understand. Yes, we have an American flag and I'm proud to have it in here I'm proud. I'm not I'm I'm not gonna bow down and worship it but I am going to say I'm Proud that we are a nation founded on God. And I'm proud of that. Christian nationalists. I was curious, what is a Christian nationalist? What is a church that's a nationalist church? And the first thing I found was, well, you're gonna find an American flag in their sanctuary. I thought, okay, well, we've got one. But I'm still not that, because I'm not telling you how to vote. You're discerning through the Holy Spirit on how you should vote. And I will not, I'll never do that. Why will I not? I mean, there's times where it's like, man, I wish that people would vote this way. But I want to tell you why I don't, is because I understand that that can become a distraction for what God's called me to do, which is to preach the gospel, to make disciples, and serve our community.

And I'm committed to that, and I'm gonna continue doing that. But I'm not gonna be so naive, and hide my head in the sand, and just think that everybody loves me. That everybody loves you. Because they don't. Okay, are you guys with me? Just like they didn't love Israel way back then. I'm gonna tell you something. I, again, I believe it's the spirit of the Antichrist that's driving all of this. Why do you say that? Because anything that God has created, or anything that God calls his own, Satan hates it. And he despises it. And he will attack it in many different ways. Sometimes, it's just right in your face. Other times, it'll be in subtle ways. If you are a Christian, you're not your own. You're God's own. Amen? And I'm gonna tell you something. I'd rather be God's any time than be this world's. Can I hear an amen to that? So we talk about the typology of Christ. Not just did Israel now have this death sentence. They were saved, and God saved them, and they turned that decree around,

and Esther was used in a powerful way. But I want you to understand, all creation has been given a death sentence. And it all started in the garden. My children, my grandchildren, were born with this death sentence. All humanity has been given a death sentence. But God, in his infinite wisdom, put together a plan so that all humanity could be saved. And listen to me, and it all happened on the third day. Are you guys with me? On resurrection morning. When, gee, come on, somebody. When Jesus come out of that grave, there was more than Him. I come out of my grave. You came out of your grave. He saved all humanity that would just simply say yes to Him. Whosoever will. Whosoever will. It's my will that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Let whosoever will come to me. I'm grateful that God saves everyone. He'll save the Jew. He'll save the Greek. He'll save people in Judaism. He'll save people in Islam. And I've seen it happen. I've seen all of that happen

since I've been this pastor here. He come to save everyone. It's His will that none, say none. It's none should perish. It doesn't matter who they are. He's just looking for people that will come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ Himself. I had a friend. Born Muslim. Knows the Quran. Following Allah. Had a terrible car wreck. And in the middle of the car wreck, he was ejected out of the car. And as he was flying through the air, Jesus Himself cradled him and softly allowed him to land on the ground. And he become a believer at that moment. Yeah, he did. He shared that with me. He shared that story with me. That moment. God's moving right now around the world. He loves humanity so much that He's revealing Himself to people. To whosoever will. All humanity had a death sentence. We needed a Savior. And Jesus came. He paid the price.

He laid down His life. He was crucified. He was buried. But on the third day. Come on, somebody. Sunday's coming. I'm going to end, I'm going to end this message today with this. And it's a passage that I want to read from a guy by the name of S.M. Lockridge. He was a pastor in the late 70s. He gave a sermon titled, It's Friday, but Sunday's coming. I want you to listen to it. Here's an excerpt from that message. He said, it's Friday, Jesus is praying, Peter's sleeping, Judas is betraying, but Sunday's coming. It's Friday, Jesus is on trial, Peter denies, the crowd is yelling crucifying, but Sunday's coming. It's Friday, the disciples are running like sheep without a shepherd, Mary's crying, Peter's denying, but Sunday's coming. It's Friday, the Romans beat my Jesus, they robed him in scarlet, they crowned him with thorns, but Sunday's coming. It's Friday, see Jesus walking to Calvary, his blood dripping, his body stumbling, his spirit burdened, but Sunday's coming. It's Friday, the world is winning, people are sinning, evil's grinning, but Sunday's coming. It's Friday, the soldiers nail my Savior's hands to the cross, they nail my Savior's feet to the cross, they then raise him up next to the criminals, but Sunday's coming. It's Friday, let me tell you something, Sunday's coming. It's Friday, the disciples are questioning what's happened to their king, and the Pharisees are celebrating that their scheming has been achieved, but Sunday's coming. It's Friday, he's hanging on the cross, feeling forsaken by his father, left alone and dying, can nobody save him? Oh, it's Friday, but Sunday's coming. It's Friday, the earth trembles, the sky grows dark, my king yields his spirit, but Sunday's coming. It's Friday, hope is lost, death is won, sin has conquered, and Satan's just laughing. It's Friday, but Sunday's coming. It's Friday, Jesus is buried, a soldier stands guard, a rock is rolled into place, but Sunday's coming. It's Friday, it is done, but Sunday's coming. He was resurrected, and because of

that, anyone who accepts this Christ will be born again and resurrected to live forever with Jesus Christ our Lord, amen? Come on, let's say it. Give him praise right now if you're thankful for the resurrection of Jesus. Come on, let's give him praise right now. Lord, we thank you so much that Sunday's coming. Oh, I can't praise him enough. I can't praise him enough. He died in my place. What I could achieve, what you could achieve, he paid it in full. He loves you. Earlier, I was praying with a young man during the worship service that was in my youth group years ago, 30 some odd years ago at Townsend Church of God. I went up there and put my arm around him. So good to see him here today with Epperson Ministry. So great to see you today, because I want you to understand something. Here's what the Lord said to me. That investment you made in that young man years ago, the fruit's coming to pass. Listen, the people you've invested in in your life, don't for one second ever give up, or think it's finished, or think it's done, because Sunday's coming. Can I hear an amen to that? Praise the Lord. Let's praise the Lord. The worship team's gonna sing this last song, and as they do, I'm gonna ask the prayer team if you'd come up. When you see Israel come past about with enemies, know that summer's nigh. Watch for earthquakes and in diverse places. Watch for the diseases. All these things have done nothing but just skyrocket since the 1900s. What are you saying? It's signs pointing toward the return of the Lord. So I want us to I'll be ready if you don't know this Jesus today. I want you to come and find someone to pray with if you need to Rededicate your life to Jesus today. I want you to come and pray with one of these prayer words Come on, there's already people moving praise the Lord. Come on, brother. Let's praise the Lord Let's worship the Lord with this song and let's pray As we get ready to sing, can we just posture our heart, can we just fix our eyes on Jesus right now? It's yours. We're gonna sing it just a couple more times and I want you to make it yours, guys. It doesn't matter what is going on. Oh, if we can learn to worship him before you see a breakthrough. If you can determine in your heart, if you don't see the answer, he is worthy. Because the truth is, you may not. But there is such breakthrough and freedom and things that are broken off of you when you get in your spirit, that if he never does another thing for you, he is worthy. He is worthy. There is more power in city. And you're worthy of it. God, we bless your name. We pray that you are glorified throughout our day and in our lives. Jesus, go before us today. Give us appointments, God, so that we can minister your gospel and bring others into the kingdom with us, because that's what it's all about.
