The 1952 Dodge Power Wagon Rebuild | Brian Tome

Some of you may have been asking, hey man, where you been? Well, I've been mainly working on this project, the 1952 Dodge Power Wagon. It has been all-consuming. It was in utter disrepair when I got it, and I've been doing just everything, engine, body, drivetrain, body work, on and on and on and on and on. Here we have the engine here. You can see that's all rebuilt and ready and good. We also have the inside of the cab. And by the way, this is a mess. And let me tell you a spiritual principle here. When God works on us, it often feels messy, because there are multiple things going at the same time he works on us. Ephesians 2.10 says that we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works. So as I'm working on this, I'm thinking about how God is working on me, and he's working on me so I can do good works. This truck is going to do good works. I've got the bed stripped off. It actually had a horrible bed on it. Got a new gas tank in it. You can see the body work that's happening here. And this is being made to be a work truck. It's gonna have a flatbed. It's gonna be functional. Even though it's 1952, it's a one-ton pickup truck.

Disc brakes, excuse me, drum brakes, not disc brakes. And I'll keep you posted on this going forward, but hey, just know that this is a physical representation of what God does inside of us when we're in his hands. He's got multiple projects going on. He's working on us. It's messy. Sometimes we feel like in disrepair. Sometimes we feel like things just aren't going right. But he's got a plan, and he's working it out. Just like I got a plan for this, and I'm working it out. And I'll keep you up-posted on some of the smaller things and details here in the days and weeks ahead.
