Revival of Hope - Rob Whitner: The Power of Redemption
In this moving message, Rob Whitner describes how he went from a life of poor choices to finding redemption in prison. After a two-year period of being angry at himself, he began to read the Bible and attend chapel services. He shares how God's love and grace helped him overcome his past mistakes and find his identity as someone "accepted in the beloved".
I am super excited to be here. I'm like a Coke can that somebody has shook up and just waiting for somebody to pull the tab. So praise the Lord, I'm getting ready to pull the tab. If you're on the front row, cover yourself. I want to thank God that I have the opportunity to share with you what he has done in my life, okay? And the things that I'm going to share, I'm coming from a different standpoint than my brother Matt. I thank God for his story. But my story is more tragic because it's what I did to myself. It wasn't what someone did to me or what happened to me. It was what I did with my own choices. And my prayer is that somebody tonight that is struggling in the same way that I was would see that Jesus is the answer. Amen. But before I do that, I want to sing something right quick because I'm kind of like a hype man. I'm just going to go old school, all right? I'm so glad that Jesus set me free. Come on. I'm so glad that Jesus set me free. Yeah. I'm so glad that Jesus set me free, singing glory, hallelujah, Jesus set me free. One more time. I'm so glad, yeah, Jesus set me free, yeah. I'm so glad Jesus set me free. Come on, say it. I'm so glad that Jesus set me free, singing glory, hallelujah, Jesus set me free. Listen here.
Satan had me bound, but Jesus set me free. Yeah. Satan had me bound, but Jesus set me free. Woo. Satan had me bound, but Jesus set me free, singing glory, hallelujah, Jesus set me free. One more time. I'm so glad, come on, Jesus set me free. Oh, I'm so glad that Jesus set me free. Yeah. I'm so glad that Jesus set me free, singing glory, hallelujah, Jesus, one more time. Satan had me bound, but Jesus set me free, yeah, Satan had me bound, but Jesus set me free, yeah, Satan had me bound, but Jesus set me free, singing glory, hallelujah, Jesus set me free. Praise the Lord. Yes, sir. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. I believe I got a group of people out here that know what it was like to be bound at one time, but also know how Jesus set the captives free. Hallelujah. I'm a living testimony. See, my bondage was not just spiritual. My bondage was literal, because the Lord found me in a dire place. I was in the backwoods of McCormick County in South Carolina in a prison called McCormick Correctional Institution, and the road that leads into that prison was 386 Redemption
Way, Christi. Hear that, Redemption Way, and that's where the Lord found me. Now, let me back up a second. I'll get to that in a moment and tell you a little bit more about that, but it began with some poor choices that I was making, some extremely poor choices, and I'll start with my time in the military where I was driving on the autostrada around northern Florence. I had been to Germany and Heidelberg to learn how to operate a piece of equipment to locate underground cable, and so I was stationed in a little area called Camp Darby near Livorno Pisa area where the Leaning Tower of Pisa is, and so I drove four hours to northern Italy to Vicenza to pick up another sergeant, and we made the trip. And so on the way back, I dropped him off at Vicenza, and I had like a four-hour leg to get home. Now, around Florence, Italy, the highway is curvy, and you're going through mountain passes, and it's winding. It was about 9.30 at night, and those European Audis can go, okay? So I was doing everything that was on the speedometer. I had it pegged. I had the seat laid back as far as I could go and still see the road, and I was listening to some radical music and just having, making my way on home. It was raining, and if you know anything about the catalytic converter systems here in America, they're not the same as in Europe. They don't have the same regulations. And so there's a film of oil and debris on the road, kind of make it slick. So as this rain is causing, you know, the roads to be a little slick. I'm traveling at like a hundred and thirty miles per hour I'm doing everything that I was going fast. I wish you could go faster And so ladies and gentlemen as I'm driving along I hear a voice Say Rob slow down It was so real to me whether it was just in my mind or in the car I don't know, but it was so real to me that I turned the inside light on I looked in the backseat like what in the world I Reasoned okay, Rob. You must be just tripping. So I continued on at a hundred and thirty miles per hour
And again the voice spoke said Rob you need to slow down much more emphatic this time Remember, I don't know God at this point. I don't know him He's foreign to me But I it startled me so that I leaned my seat up in the upright position I had my hands on the steering wheel at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock Like the driver's handbook says I cut my speed in half and I was traveling along And as I would continue to drive I could feel the car hitting patches of standing water and you know what happened Started Hydroplaning Fortunately because I had cut my speed in half I've never lost control I Made it home safely But I missed the message Twice that night. I heard Rob you need to slow down. I Heard it in terms of my driving that night, but I did not hear in terms of my life in the way I was living I was living a life of Debauchery I was a heavy drinker Wasn't doing drugs at the time because the military test But shortly after that I got Transferred back to the United States in the Maryland area and discovered a drug that was ravaging the 90s called crack cocaine It found a home with me It found a willing participant And so I began to use and Came up positive on a couple urinalysis tests and before I got kicked out of the military They had confined me to the barracks before to even go to the child hall to eat. I had to be escorted but because the addiction was raging and it was so strong in my life I Strapped on my backpack climbed out a second floor window and left posts and they had to find me again Finally after they discharged me from the military with other than honorable conditions I went back to South Carolina where I'm from Little talk town called Seneca
And I got this raging addiction on me That all I care about is trying to figure out how to get high I hate to step I don't say hate but it's It's challenging to stand before you and to tell you these things because So often we want people to see the best parts of us and Once we get saved and we're walking with the Lord We try to put that other side of us as far away from us as we as possible but I believe is sharing like Someone has said earlier that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony There's somebody's gonna benefit tonight I Because whether it's for you or a loved one somebody needs to hear this So I went back to South Carolina I got in an altercation one night with some guys and I guess the only thing to save me from a just a beatdown Was when the police came because it was like a mini riot and I was getting attacked by several people. Somebody hit me with a crutch and all I could do was get my back Against the police car to keep them from getting me off of my feet Because if they'd have got me down on my feet, it would have been kick action So in this position in a Roman chair, I just was fending blows and just doing what I needed to do To keep from getting beat up really bad they took us to the police station I've got three individuals sitting over here. I'm sitting over here and All of them we're handcuffed and they're looking over there at me talking about yeah, we're gonna get you Get you they have no idea where my mind is at Because at that point I had no hope and a man that is without hope is extremely dangerous Especially when he's been trained in the art of warfare So what happened is three weeks later one of those individuals and I came across one another's paths and so I'm here today but he's not. I say that in a
way that is not as harsh a reality as it was but it was it was brutal and despite the fact that me who has such aspirations for greater things finally descended to the depths of a drug addiction and ultimately the crime of first-degree murder, I was sentenced to the South Carolina Department of Corrections. May the 27th of 1994 I stood before the late judge Frank Epps in Oconee County Courthouse in Walhalla, South Carolina and he sentenced me to 20 years to life. He said read a book a week, your Bible every night, good luck to you and so he sent me on my way. My first two years in the Department of Corrections I was angry not so much at anyone else but at myself because in that time those two years I looked back at all that I had squandered, the opportunities I had thrown away, the times when I should have listened but I didn't. There had been many times where I could have got off the road that I was on but I was stubborn, I was hard-headed, I thought I knew what I needed to do. But after two years around the end of that two-year mark there was this little pestering fella by the name of Terry. I worked in the education building as a tutor in the literacy program and so Terry was one of my students and Terry would come in with the daily bread every day and Terry would sit down and say, hey Rob, check that out. And me at the time, I didn't want to read that so I was like, get away from me, I don't want to read that. But they say about fishermen, if they're not biting today, go back tomorrow. And so Terry was persistent, Christy. Every day he would come back and slide the daily bread at me and evidently he was praying because at some point I began to pick up that daily bread and began to read and I saw some things in there that caused me to, that resonated with my heart and of course the prayers of others. Next thing you know I started attending Sunday morning chapel services again. Nobody asked me. Nobody said, Rob, come and go to church with us. Nobody. But there was a drawing because see, as a child I remember growing up in the church. Even though I didn't pay any attention, even though I never accepted Christ in my life, there was something there that was pulling me, that was drawing me to the Lord. And so I started attending the services and God had it set up for me. And about this time they brought this
wild man preacher in there, kind of like me, okay? And this guy, this guy was loud and he, I mean he was screaming and he scared the bejesus out of me. And so I remember one night he preached a message on David and he talked about, arise, anoint him. I don't know what it was. I didn't remember any of the other messages but I can remember that. And that night, because of my pride, I wouldn't go to the altar. And listen, I need to take an aside right here because of someone's pride, we're not going to get what God has in store for us tonight. Because we're so self-reliant, we don't think what other thing is, we don't want anybody to know that we need help. But God is here to help somebody tonight. Even if it's not for you but for a loved one, he's here to help someone tonight, okay? So my pride prevented me from going to the altar that night but God was not through with me. Because when that service was over, I went back to my dorm. And that night after the nine o'clock roll call count, I found myself kneeling at my bunk. I don't know how I got there but I was on my knees. Jesus, help Lord. My life is broken. I destroyed everything that I put my hands to. I cried out to the Lord and the Lord heard me. And my next memory, that next day, the very next day, I'm not talking about a week, six months, a year later, the very next day, when I went out that morning, I saw a group of men over here and there was like a light around them. There was an aura around them and I found myself gravitating to them. You know what it was? A group of Christian men. And they were standing around and they were talking and they all had these goofy grins on On their face and so I had a goofy grin too, and I went up to him and said hey their faces. They said hey, who are you and what do you want? I said my name Robin. I don't know All I know is I'm happy today man I just saw y'all and I just want to come hang out with you the next memory I remember is the guy that I used to hang out with smoke new parts with play spades with and do and lie and cheat and all that other stuff with guess what now when he came around there was something in me saying no and I had to learn the difference between Loving him and hating what he does
But the thing is that same God that was witnessing to me Terry now he became one that disciples me He started helping me to learn scripture. He started teaching me how to walk in the Lord and as I was growing rapidly He said look here Rob. You know I'll grow in anything I can give to you man So let me cut connect you with another brother He put me in touch with this guy named Randy and so thus Randy began to pour into my life And I started going in the Lord. I was hungering in the word. I was walking around my little New Testament and listen here I know this is not on camera, but I was walking around with my little New Testament I wasn't even looking for anybody and I was running into people because I was so engrossed in what I was reading I walked into polls. I stripped off the sidewall I was doing all kind of things because I was just so absorbed with what God was doing in my life. I was so absorbed I Found a scripture in Psalms 107 verse 9 said they that hunger and thirst of the Lord. He's your filling with goodness I said Lord, that's me That's me, and the thing is I thought about how can God love someone like me? Someone that's done the things I've done. I kill man I Regret that to this day There's a family. He's never going home to And I'm the cause But God's grace There's an old song some of the old folks might remember if you have to reach way down Jesus has picked you up and he reached way beyond the bottom of the barrel to find me And he called me out and now he's giving me an opportunity to love those that are unlovable as a matter of fact this past Thursday I had an opportunity. I walked out of a restaurant and there was this guy sitting there a homeless guy You know saying he was homeless you could tell he was home. He had his dog there and all his belongings And I just said since the nudging of the Lord the compassion of the Lord there wasn't much I could do for him But one thing I did do I just squatted down Said man, my name's Rob. I know what you're going through I've been where you are
But I also know how God is able to redeem I Told him about some hard places. I had been through because the choices I had made He was tracking with me He was understanding everything. I said sometimes you talk to the homeless you can tell they're not there with you But he was right there with me So as I continue to minister to as continue to speak to him I said well man, can I pray for you? His name is Randy and so God in the company of this people tonight Lord We lift up Randy to you wherever he is Jesus Hallelujah, wherever he is Wherever he is Lord Help Randy Help Randy And I don't say that to boast about me or anything like that I'm just saying that there are people out there that need what we have They have no hope they don't have an answer for the life that they're living and They need Jesus They need to know the Jesus that we say we know They need to know him They need to know him and for me, that's what this revival is all about This revival is about us getting outside the church walls It's about us at least beginning to pray for that neighbor that lives next door to you all those years Then you know, they don't know the Lord And we need to have a strike up a conversation with him, it's about the person that you meet every day on your job It's about the person that serves you when you go get coffee at Starbucks It's about the person that you pass when you go in the grocery store Every day you see that you see the cashier there and we never talk to them about Jesus their lives are hanging in the balance And they need Jesus I Struggle we come to share those things with you
My wife Helen and I she lived up here before I did we graduated high school together. I ain't gonna say when But I like to say this is that during that time brother could get in a rap, okay She wouldn't give me time a day Rightfully so, because I was a knucklehead. I played basketball, but I was a knucklehead. But years later, after my incarceration experience, she saw something different in me. And at a—I'm still not going to say the year—at a class reunion, she said, she spoke into my life and said, You know, Ra, I see that you're not the same man that you were, so don't let anyone put you back in that box, okay? And that encouraged me because you don't know the psychological struggle I was having just by being there, knowing all that was in my past. Everyone there was doing great things, accomplishing great things. Well, where you been, Ra? Jail. I didn't want to say that. But we moved up here, and for years, I've kept it pretty much a secret. Because I'm in a new state, a new area. Nobody really knows who I am, where I've been, what I've done. I just sought to live out a godly life. But upon meeting this young lady over here called K.O.J., she said, I want to do an article on you. I said, uh-oh. Cat's out the bag. But I saw that as an opportunity to open some doors that I had been afraid to open. And so my whole point of getting to it is this. I want to share this with you. This is really what I wanted to get to tonight. It's that I'm accepted now. I know that. All of my life, I was looking for acceptance, and that's part of the reason I got involved in drugs and all of that activity, because it's just wanting to belong. But I finally found out.
The Scripture says in Matthew in two places, in chapter 3, verse 17, and also chapter 17, verse 5, this is my beloved Son in whom I'm well pleased. The Father spoke from heaven. And I also read and found out in Ephesians chapter 1, verse 6, that I, you, if you are a believer, are accepted in the beloved. So he sees me in him. He sees me as one with him. So I'm accepted. I don't have to cower in fear before the Father. Yes, I know I reverence him. He is holy. But he is my Father. And I can go before the throne of grace boldly. And there's somebody here tonight, and we're going to get into the altar ministry momentarily, but there's somebody here tonight that you need to know that you're accepted in the beloved. That God is no longer holding all of those things against you. That he is no longer waiting to bash you over the head because of the things that you've done. He said they're wiped away. And you're hearing that from somebody who has a lot of baggage. A lot. A lot. Don't let your pride prevent you from having that encounter with the Lord that you need tonight. Some of you are stuck in a place where you're living a good life. Everything on the surface seems good. But that first love fire that you had is gone. And you're saying, Lord, I want to, I want, take me back. Like the late Andre Cross used to sing, take me back. Take me back, dear Lord,
to the place where I first believed you. Take me back, Lord, to that place where I was just goofy for Jesus. Take me back to that place where I was just so in love with your word. Take me back to that place, Lord, where I wasn't easily offended. I forgave everybody. But now we got a checklist of people that's wronged us, and we can't figure out, we can't wait to figure out a way to get them back. Lord, take us back. Take us back. Take us back. Chrissy, I'm going to call you up because she got some things she wants to say, and then we're going to actually have a little time to pray. So just pause for a moment as my sister comes. This is on my heart. Yes. Jesus paid it all. All to Him I owe. Sin has left a crimson stain. He washed it white as snow. Thank you, Lord. I know there's so many people here who don't feel worthy of God's love. Mm. I didn't feel worthy. Mm. And that's why I chose two stories tonight. Miracle Matt's story, who's out doing something good and finds himself in the roughest, toughest, most painful places probably none of us have ever been in. And Rob, you talked about your past. You're gonna find yourself somewhere between the two.
Amen. And here's the thing, we all needed the Lord. Amen. And that's what brings us all together tonight. And so what we wanna do tonight, you know, I'm like, Lord, I don't ever wanna prevent you from moving. I don't want to rush you, God, but I also know that there's some of you that gotta get home. Maybe you don't like to drive in the dark or maybe you got a babysitter. And so as we move, we're gonna move into a time of ministry. I wanna have the prayer team come forward. Our greeters at the back, as you're leaving, there's magazines for you, like in a few minutes, whenever that happens, there's magazines, there's free resources over there. There's Bibles, if you don't have a Bible, in Spanish and English, there are magazines for you. There's the gospel and these little leather booklets, the Matthew, Mark, Luke and John in chronological order. Those are free back there. We've got, I'm gonna tell, yes, Rabbi Jason's gonna be here tomorrow night and we're gonna offer a trip to Israel, not like giving it away free, but yeah, sorry,
Ashley's back there waving something at me. But yeah, an incredible, we're gonna fill up a bus load and go to Israel next year with Rabbi and he's gonna be here tomorrow night. So I wanted to give you a few announcements. We're gonna open this up and I want you to know, we're gonna stay here till the sun comes up if we need to for you. Tomorrow night, we've got a baptism service. If you've never been baptized and you wanna do that, or maybe you've been baptized like I did as a little girl, but it was on the wrong side of my salvation and you need to get re-baptized, that's okay. And if you go to Israel, you can get tri-baptized like I did in the Jordan River. And so we've got that tomorrow night. If you wanna be baptized, come tell us. We've got towels, we'll have t-shirts, we'll have different things to help you. I wanted to say a few more things. If you have your brochure, you don't think you're coming back, which I hope you come back and you wanna recycle it, we can use it tomorrow. You can do that, you can drop that back. You had the connection cards and if you feel led to support our ministry, there's the wooden boxes back there and there's also Carla's over there.
She's able to take donations if that's something that you'd like to do. We have breakfast at our women's conference in the morning. The first 200, I think it is, is that right, Ashley? First 200 get free breakfast and we also have a special gift. This young lady, young girl, teenage girl made 200 bracelets for us. It says, hope is here. And so the first 200 that come, get those bracelets also. And as I said earlier, if you're some men and you wanna crash our party, you come on. But what you're gonna see tomorrow, you don't wanna miss it. Because there's gonna be an eight-year-old up to 80-year-old sharing the lies that they believed about themselves. And we're gonna take a freedom march and we're gonna trade our lives for the truth of God and we're gonna hang that truth and those lies up here on the cross and we're gonna see ourselves as God sees us, accepted in the beloved. And when you see yourself as God sees you, you can rise up like Leviticus 26, 13 and walk with your head held high. And so that's what this is about. So we also, Matt Manzari's gonna be here. He's got his books.
Tomorrow night, we also have some of Rabbi's books with us. We're gonna sell 10 of each because we're gonna keep them for tomorrow night's crowd that we know we got people coming from Virginia, just from different places who have followed Rabbi's teachings. I think that's everything. So the schedule tomorrow is nine o'clock to 12 o'clock. We have the 1.30 workshop with Matt and then 5.30 is when we start with our final evening. And so I'm going to, is the prayer team here? Okay, y'all stand there. We'll have some here come also. And Robert, I'm gonna have you lead this. I would like to go ahead and just pray over everyone then I'm gonna lead it over to you to lead that same. Lord, I just thank you for this mighty man of God. I thank you for his story. I thank you for crossing our paths. I thank you for Matt's story. I thank you for all the stories that are sitting here, God. And I know there are people here who think God can't use me. They're thinking I don't have enough. All you need is the name of Jesus. Jesus. Yes, Lord. You don't need God will give you what you need. He who begins a good work in you, he's going to carry it to completion. Yes, Lord. There are things that have happened to you.
There's things that you've done. Don't waste them. Yes, Lord. God can take those ashes and make beautiful things out of them. If we'll just rise up, give our pain to him, give our traumas to him, give the dreams that have been crushed to him, and watch what he can do with them. He says, rise up, my people. Rise up, because I call you blessed. Amen. I call you son, and I call you daughter. And so, I thank you, Father, that he, the son, sets free, is free indeed. Yes. I thank you for those that have come, and I thank you that those that are going to be brave enough to come forward tonight to rededicate their life, to give their life, maybe for the first time. Someone here needs to come forward tonight. Last year, we had someone that came forward and said, I'm about to take my life, and they've been struggling with it for months, and nobody knew in their family until they confessed it here, and then the darkness broke off them.
Hallelujah. That's why Satan doesn't want you to tell, because he wants you to stay in the darkness. Somebody needs to come forward tonight, and they need to tell somebody what they're going through. So, Father, we thank you for the freedom that you give us. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Praise the Lord. So, the altars are open. We have prayer workers up here that are willing to meet you and to pray with you, and my encouragement to you is don't miss this opportunity. I missed an opportunity years ago, and you can move now as I'm talking, but I missed an opportunity years ago. The Lord was moving powerfully, and I heard again, in my heart or in my ears, I heard, get on your face before me. And you know what I did? Nothing. I sat there because I was more concerned about what the people in the room were going to
think or say about me than what the Lord had to say. I learned that night as I wept before the Lord and asked Him to forgive me never again. And so, some of you right now, you're holding on to your seat because you're just fighting against that nudging. The Lord wants you to step up and have one of the volunteers pray for you. Move. Don't wait. Don't delay. Don't let this opportunity pass you by. Usually, it's the first one that gets in the water that gets the healing that they need. Amen? I'm going to sing something right quick as you come, alright? I want you to come. There's nothing worth more that could ever come close. Nothing can compare your our living home. Your presence Lord. Come on, the Lord's calling. I've
tasted and seen of the sweetest of love where my heart becomes free and my shame is undone. Somebody needs their shame to get washed off tonight. Your presence, Lord. If you know what singing with us, Holy Spirit say it. Holy Spirit you are welcome here. Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere. Your glory God is what our hearts long for to be overcome by your presence Lord. Your presence Lord. See the Lord is drawing.
The Lord is drawing. He wants to heal some hurts. He wants to heal some deep pain in our lives. He wants to heal that trauma, whatever that trauma was. He wants to touch those broken places. He wants to touch that unforgiveness, that resentment that you might be holding on to. Or maybe this fear that has just paralyzed you. It has you just somewhat encased in a place where you just can't move. He wants to meet you here. He wants to meet you here. And guess what? It's okay to sit there in your chair and say, Chair with your eyes closed. Lord, I'm not Cause he's under this tent. okay. I'm not okay. He's under this tent. I'm not okay. He's under this tent. So Lord, we thank you Lord that you've allowed Matt and I to share our very different stories. But it's all glory to you.
Lord, your grace is more than sufficient. It is more than sufficient. And Lord, as your people are sitting here, some struggling to hold it together with no one knowing, let them know this is a safe place, Lord. It's a safe place, Lord, where we can come and lay our burdens down. Burdens down. Burdens down. Your presence, Lord. Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, you are welcome here. Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere. Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for, to be overcome by your presence. Lord, Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, you are welcome here, Lord. Come flood this, flood this place, Lord. Fill the atmosphere. Fill it, Lord. Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for, to be overcome by your presence. Lord, your presence, Lord. Is there anyone here that does not know the Lord, does not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Please don't leave tonight. Please don't leave without knowing Jesus. Please don't leave without knowing Jesus. You don't know what's waiting on you down the road. You don't know what's waiting on you down the road. It may not be an electrocution,
but you don't know what's waiting on you down the road. I talked to my sister Carol, and she was sharing how her and her husband came out of a gun show and got robbed. They didn't know that that was waiting on them. You don't know. You don't know. You don't know. You don't know. Let us be calm. Let us be calm, more aware of your presence. Let us experience the glory of your goodness, yeah. Let us be calm, more aware of your presence. Let us experience the glory of your, let us be calm, let us be calm, more aware of your presence. Hear us sing, praise Him if you wanna come, come on up. If you wanna come up and sing, praise Him, come on. Let us be calm, let us be calm, more aware of your presence. Yes, Lord. Let us experience the glory of, say let us be calm, let us be calm, more aware of your presence. Let us experience the glory of your, say let us be calm, let us be calm, more aware of your presence, yeah. Let us experience the glory of, Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, you are welcome here. Come on.
Come flood this place and fill the air. Hey, yes, Lord. Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for, to be overcome by your presence. Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, you are welcome here. Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere. Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for, to be overcome by your presence. Come by your presence, Lord Your presence, Lord Go ahead and lead that, go ahead and lead that however you want to, okay? Praise the Lord. I want to speak over your lives as those, as some are leaving and some are still just basking in the presence of the Lord. I pray the Lord would increase you more and more, you and your children. I pray that the Lord would pour out His glory in your life and ministry. I pray that He would renew your faith. I pray that He would quicken you once again. I pray a fresh anointing upon your lives, that the oil of the Lord, the joy of the Lord would be your strength. I pray fresh oil on your ministry. Ah! Fresh oil on your ministries, Lord. Fresh oil on your ministries, Lord. Fresh oil on your ministries in Jesus' name. I pray that every yoke be broken, every burden be removed, because you know that for this purpose was the Son of God manifest, that He might destroy the works of the devil. So receive the Lord's grace today to walk in His power, to walk in His love, to walk in all that He has done for us and given to us in the mighty name of Jesus. Let no weapon formed against you prosper. Every one of us falls to the ground. Nothing will stick. It's not going to be like Velcro. You slick as all. Amen. It can't hold fast to you. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Wave your hands to Jesus. Say, thank you, Lord Jesus. Wave your hands to the Lord Jesus. Wave your hands to the Lord Jesus. Hey! Come flood this place, Lord. You're welcome to stay as long as you want. As the praise team continues to sing, we're here as long as you want to be here. But I'm going to turn this mic off, and I'm going to give me some time in the Lord. Ain't that right, Sister Rose? I love you and appreciate you, and thank you for coming tonight. In Jesus' mighty name, amen. Thank you for watching our broadcast. Are you an incarcerated brother or sister who needs encouragement?
