Pursuit Night! Amazing Holy Spirit Filled Worship!!

Good morning, men and women. It's such an honor and a privilege and a blessing to be able to speak into your life from right here at Life Fellowship Church in McKinney, Texas into your tablet on whatever application that you're watching at whatever institution that you're at. It's just such a blessing, these tablets. My name is Logan Williams. My TDC number is 1490218. I've got four numbers after that and we didn't have tablets when I was incarcerated and man, I wish we did. I know that you guys can now just fill your minds in your downtime and all that idle time when we want to get into the hustles, we want to get into whatever it is that we do because prison's uncomfortable, right? And that was my mistake when I was down there. Yeah, I would go to church. Yeah, I would go to do the Kairos and do the baptisms, but I didn't want to change how I was living. I thought to myself, you know, when I get out, I'll, I know what to do and that's what I'll do. But while I'm in here, man, I'm just going to keep doing the things. I'm going to, you got some hooch, I'll drink it. If you got some tobacco, I'll use it. If you stole some chicken patties out of the kitchen, I'll buy them from you. You know, just participating in things that I know God didn't want me to participate in. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with chicken patties or gambling on basketball games, but I just knew that God wanted me to live different. He wanted me to take some of that time and dive into the word or go to him in prayer or actually try to develop a spiritual life. And I fell victim to the, to the delusion that I could just start doing that when I hit the gate. And that's my prayer for all of you, man, is that a fire would be lit and we're seeing it. We're seeing it in these institutions. I think the, the Pando app has a lot to do with it, man. So guys pour into that and, and don't forget to tell your friends and family, they can download the same Pando app on their phone. They can watch the same teachings, the same services, the same, the chosen is on there, the Bible project. Like you can still do this walk with your family when you talk to them in visitation or on the phone or if you're writing letters, whatever it is, take a few minutes and say, Hey man, what the Holy spirit speak to you in that message that we watched together. So you can still lead your family just because you're behind bars. You absolutely can. Don't fall victim to that. Um, and don't forget to hit subscribe to our, to our channel so that you don't miss anything that comes out. We know you don't want to do that, man. This morning I was thinking

about one of my favorite parables, uh, that Jesus talked about. It was the woman with the issue of blood and I'm just going to read it. I'm going to just start. It's in, I'm going to read the version in Mark. Uh, I'm going to start in verse 21 and it says, Jesus got into the boat again and went back to the other side of the lake where the large crowd gathered around him on the shore. Then a leader of the local synagogue whose name was Jarius arrived. When he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet pleading fervently with him. My, my little daughter is dying. Please come and lay your hands on her, heal her so she can live. So Jesus went with him. It says, now this is like a, this would be like a famous senior pastor of a church. He was a leader in the synagogue. I'm pretty famous, pretty popular. Jesus is going to help him. He, his, you know, it's funny when we get desperate enough, you know, we may not, we may, we may not really believe or we may not really like, but Hey, when we, when we're willing to try anything, this guy came and he fell at Jesus's feet. He was a, he was a leader of the synagogue. He probably had some pride. He probably, that he had to put away. He probably had some arrogance that he had to lay down to be able to do that. But Jesus is always willing when we give him our yes. And so it says, Jesus went with him and all the people followed crowding around him. So he sees popular. So we got Jesus rolling and we got like a real famous guy rolling. So this crowd is, is, is pressing around them. It says a woman in the crowd had suffered for 12 years with constant bleeding. She had suffered a great deal from many doctors and over the years she'd spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. That just reminds me personally of like my addiction early on. You know, I had family, I had friends, I had people that I was being sent to treatment centers, sent to, to counselors, exhausting all kinds of resources, but, but I never, I never got better. I might get better for a little bit. Um, but, but I never could just stay better. It says, um, in fact, she got worse. Isn't that? Isn't that the truth? Doesn't this sin, whether it's addiction, whether it's sexual sin, whether it's whatever it is, it gets worse, doesn't it? It doesn't ever just get better on its own.

It's always more. The deception is, man, we need more. This time it's gonna fulfill me if I just do it this way, or with these people, or in this setting. And it's just more, and that deception, it never fulfills. So she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse. So she heard about Jesus. So she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe. For she thought to herself, if I can just touch his robe, I will be healed. Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition. Jesus realized at once that healing power had gone out of him. So he turned around in the crowd and asked, who touched my robe? His disciples said to him, look at this crowd pressing around you. How can you ask who touched me? But he kept on looking around to see who had done it, and the frightened woman, trembling at the realization

of what had happened to her, came and fell on her knees in front of him and told him what she had done. And he said to her, daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over. And so, man, so many things in there. Number one, Jesus is not afraid to stop what he's doing. Like he's rolling with this famous guy, and this girl comes up and touches his robe. He's not afraid to get interrupted to help you if you're willing to touch his robe, if you're willing to do what it takes to touch his robe. Now, this girl had to get through the crowd. She had to elbow people out of the way. She had to have some determination. She had to have some desperation to do that. I mean, think about it. Think about this woman elbowing all these people out of the way. Who's this crazy girl coming through, and she's like, I'd fucking just touch his robe. Like, guys, that's been my prayer for you guys, that we would have this desperation, that this fire would be lit, that you would do crazy things, that maybe you would declare some things over your life,

that you would get into the word. I know what you're thinking. Man, I can't declare things over my life out loud. My cell will think I'm crazy. I can't just start reading the Bible in the day room. All these people will come against me. They'll make fun of me. They'll shun me, all these things. But check it. This woman is elbowing through the crowd, bleeding everywhere. Like, you don't think people thought she was crazy. You don't think people thought she was a little off, but check it out. She got healed, set free, and restored in that moment because of her crazy. What crazy thing is God asking you to do? What is he asking you to lay down? What can you start doing today with desperation to touch Jesus? He wants to be interrupted to help you. And I pray that you guys would just have that, not as information in your head, but revelation in your heart, and that today could be a day that you call upon his name and you get some desperation. Let me pray for you guys. Heavenly Father, we just love you so much. And God, I just thank you for every single person that you've drawn to click on this video today.

And God, I pray that the message that's coming up would just land on fertile soil, God, that you would just speak to the hearts of these men and women, God. Your word says that no one comes to the Father unless they are drawn to him. And so that just tells me of all the things that they could be clicking on on their tablet, the fact that they're watching this today, you're drawing them, you're after them. You have left 99 to go and find them. And I've got a mentor that tells me, man, if God's after you, I doubt you're gonna get away. So guys, I just pray, man, if you're watching that you would just know God is after you, God. I pray that they would know that you love them, that you love them so much that even in their darkest hour, they were still worthy of dying for, no matter what they've done, you still love them and you want to help them, God. I just pray that you would bless them, that you would bless their families while they're gone, that you would just provide for their families, whatever that need is, God, that you would meet their families right where they're at as well. And that God, today could be a day that someone calls upon your name with desperation and gets healed. And we love you, we give you all the praise and glory

in Jesus' name, amen. And you know, I just got one more question for you. Whose house? God's house. Let's give. Give some praise. Hello, Life Fellowship. Man, I'm so excited. This is going to be a good night tonight. You know, I love when I was reading through Acts. It said that the church, the apostles, they were being persecuted. And one thing they did is they all came together corporately. And they prayed. And they shouted out, Lord, hear the enemy's threats. And give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching the word. May miraculous signs be done in the name of Jesus Christ. I was thinking about that today. And as I was driving in here, I saw a cop on the side of the street with some massive body armor on. And while I saw him standing there with that body armor, Ephesians immediately popped into my mind. Would you turn that music down a little bit? And Ephesians immediately popped into my mind. And it says that we are to put on the breastplate of righteousness. To protect against the slashes of the enemy. It doesn't say that you're not going to get attacked. It says to protect us from the slashes. When the enemy fires, sometimes we're going to get bruised and we're going to get wounded. But it protects us from dying. And so we step up each and every single day because we are ready to fight. Because we want to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ. We want to hear the enemy's threats.

The enemy has been running rampant these last couple months. It's been running rampant since he was set loose. But it seems to me like it's been bad for a couple months. And we need to put this guy in his place. I love the message version where it says, if you yell aloud no to the enemy, he will scamper. And when I think of stuff that scampers, it's not something big and bulky. You're not going to see Ryan or Brandon up here scampering. They're big guys. They lumber. What you see scampers, cockroaches. They run. When you flip the light on, the cockroaches run. And so it tells us that the enemy is nothing but a cockroach with a blowhorn. And so today we stand unified and we call out the name of Jesus Christ. And we come together corporately to worship the Lord and usher in his presence that is trying to attack all of us out here. In Second Chronicles, chapter 5, verses 12 to 14, it speaks about unity and worship. And the scripture says, all the Levites who were musicians, Asaph, Haman, Jeruthim, and their sons and relatives stood on the east side of the altar dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps, and lathers. They were accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets. The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang, he is good. His love endures forever. And then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud. And the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud. For the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God. For the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God. God's presence filled the temple with his Shekinah glory. God has accepted the temple as a place where his presence can be. And when there is unity in worship, the divine manifestation follows the unified act of worship. God's glory will always overwhelm human activity. His glory and his presence is in the temple.

His glory and his presence is in this room tonight. And his glory is going to overwhelm and overtake us. His presence is in this room tonight. That song, shout to the Lord, has been around forever. longer than i have it's old but one of the things that i love about that song is it declares psalm 96 that the lord shall be proclaimed and as you dig into that the lady that wrote that miss darlene she wrote that song at one of the lowest points in her life she had no money on a practicality front she had nothing and one day she was crying out to the lord and she was reading through psalms and she chose rather than to focus on what she didn't have she lived out psalm 96 and if you've been around for a while you know how the lord has used that song and he's blessed her and and the ways that song has reached millions of people and tonight as we were singing i couldn't help but think about how most of us today when we came in have something that we're facing and it doesn't necessarily have to be like a big heavy scary thing it could just it could just be we're worried about the future or it could just it could feel something it could feel like small in comparison to other things but i'm reminded tonight in scripture that god cares about each of us he dresses the lilies in the field and when we choose to declare when we choose to proclaim his name god can use that god can use that not only to bless you but to bless others but the truth of the matter is is that worship isn't just about declaring it's also about moving to encounter

we can sing all of our favorite songs i know the guy that makes the set list i could get them all in there but if we just come in here and sing our favorite songs and feel good about ourselves and go back out we haven't really encountered anything scripture tells us in exodus that moses was meeting with the lord in the tent and moses begged the lord if you're not going with us don't let us leave here i don't want to leave here tonight without the lord going with me and this is the thing it's easy to play church we can say all the right things and and hold our hands up at the right moments and cry at the right moments but if we are not on our face before the lord asking him begging him to meet us here we have missed the point a couple of scriptures james 4 8 says draw near to the james 4 8 says draw near to god and he will draw near to you that's an incredible promise not that he promised he would draw near but that when we seek him he responds so as we continue in worship tonight i want to challenge you our altar is open you don't need a stage for an altar your altar can be your chair your altar could be a quiet corner in the room i want to challenge you whatever it looks like for you maybe it's kneeling maybe it's coming forward maybe it's just simply opening up your hands to this to the heavens and asking the lord would you meet me here in this moment god would you draw us near to you god would you move in this place tonight like nothing we have ever seen i don't want just another pursuit night i want a move of god and his people we could pass this mic around and we could make a really good list of all the things that are going wrong of all the ways that we feel burdened and heavy but scripture jesus himself said come to me all you who are weary and i will give you rest so let's do that together tonight let's pray together god we are flat out desperate for you for your spirit we want nothing that is not of you or from you god we want no performance we want no theatrics we just want you god we are weary we are heavy laden we are worried we have anxiety we're afraid so God would you meet us in this room tonight God as we open this altar

You know, I had the opportunity to go to a family vacation this past couple of weeks and I had a long drive back about 15 hours from Colorado Springs to McKinney and I had a lot of time to pray, a lot of time to listen to preachings and all those things, you know and asking the Lord about everything that He showed me during this trip for Him to clarify to me His path, what He had for me, had for my family and one word, or better, one phrase, one expression stood out to me that I want to share with you because I've seen God confirming this word, this expression to us throughout this whole night and what the Lord wants to tell you, wants to tell me, I believe is that He wants to change our perspective God wants to change our perspective In the book of Lamentations, the prophet Jeremiah, he said in the chapter 3, verse 19, he says this Remember my affliction and my roaming The wormwood and the gall, my soul still remembers and sinks within me You know, some of the translations will say that he was so depressed There was so much going on in his life, so much going on around him So much affliction, he was afraid and there was nothing he could do But the verse goes on, and here is what he says Verse 21, this I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope

Okay, prophet Jeremiah, tell me, what do you recall in your mind? What is that, that brings you hope? And he says, he continues saying this Through the Lord's mercies, we are not consumed Because His compassions fail not Because His compassions fail not, come on They are new every morning Great is your faithfulness My brother and my sister, the Lord reminded me on that trip That my circumstances can be the same But whenever I recall that His mercy endures forever That His faithfulness is with me Even though my cup seems to be empty I remember that He is there I remember that He is faithful I remember that he's the only one, the only thing that I need and listen how beautiful it is. That also reminds me that if there's still a little bit of thread of hope, a little bit in my cup, he's continued to work, he's working, he's at work still. So it doesn't matter what happened in your life right now, doesn't matter how you are right now, doesn't matter how you're feeling right now or circumstances are, he's still at work because he's faithful. So he wants to change your perspective. Instead of looking to all the situations around, instead of looking to the part that is empty in your cup, look to his faithfulness. Look to him because he's the one that can give you life. He's the one that can change your circumstances. He's the one that truly can give you happiness. Just Jesus. So let me ask you this, isn't he enough? Isn't Jesus enough? Isn't Jesus enough? Come on, let's give it up one more time, Life Fellowship. We praise you, Jesus. We love you, Lord. We love you. We love you, Lord. We praise you. Let's pray together. I want to pray with you one more time, but I want to invite you to do something different tonight. So you came with somebody else, so let's

gather in groups of two or three and let's pray for one another. And the question that I want you to ask to that person is, what's the number one thing that you feel that God wants to change your perspective on? What's the number one thing that I can pray for you? So ask the person that is right beside you and let's pray for one another for a few minutes. If He dresses our lives with beauty and splendor, how much more will He clothe us, how much more will He clothe us? Father we believe that tonight father, you marked a new time that you changed our perspective. And that perspective father is to look through your eyes, to look to our situations through your eyes. Because we know that you are working, we know that you are working, we know father you are working father. If the things are not father still how you want them to be, you're still working, you're still working, you're still doing, you're still moving, you're still healing, you're still transforming, you're still speaking, you're still father, you're still at work. Jesus we love you, thank you so much father for tonight.

Thank you for bringing us together as a church father in prayer and seeking your face. Father let our prayer life doesn't stop here father but actually go to our bedroom, go to our work, go father whatever we go, go our prayer life with you father. We pray that you continue to speak to our hearts father. And let everybody, everything that you planted in our hearts tonight just bring fruits to you. We praise you and we pray in Jesus mighty name and all God's people in the house come on say, Amen, amen. Let's give it up for Jesus one more time. We love you lord, we love you lord.
