Bueno, como quizás sepan, muchas cosas interesantes sucedieron esta última semana. Venezuela, el Seguro Social, otro tiroteo más. Y necesitan escucharme en que no voy a hablar de ninguna de esas cosas hoy. Sé que algunos de ustedes están pasando por dificultades y estoy orando por ustedes. Y cuando digo eso, realmente lo digo. Hablaré de eso pronto. Pero venimos no solo por un comentario de lo que pasa en el mundo, aunque puedo hacerlo cuando quiera. Venimos hoy porque queremos a Dios. Queremos a Dios, no otra voz hablando de lo que pasa afuera. Y seamos honestos, en su fuente social ahora mismo se aparece información como un titular, lo último de Venezuela, y luego otro titular, lo último de la oración. ¿Cuál van a elegir? ¿Venezuela? ¿Venezuela o la oración? No, pulsaría en Venezuela. Yo sí, es más intrigante. Si aparece alguna novedad que hable sobre el asunto que agobia, que se relaciona con la seriedad del incidente del tiroteo en Minnesota comparada con la seriedad de la oración, iremos al incidente del tiroteo. Yo al menos, probablemente, porque es más como un subidón de azúcar. Es algo inmediato. Siento que estoy informado. Obtengo un pequeño estímulo. Lo que realmente me motiva a orar, sin embargo, son las cosas que sé que requiero. Y eso es que necesito a Dios y necesito cosas que no puedo fabricar ni reunir por mi cuenta.

It doesn't come naturally to me. I almost always feel like a loser in my life of prayer. If I don't come to a prayer meeting, I feel like a loser. When I go out, I think I'm good at praying. The rest of the time, I'm a loser. I don't do it enough. I don't do whatever. I have something to grow in this and I have improved a lot. But I want you to come closer. Closer to where Jesus is. Because that is the place where power resides. And it's something hard and complicated to reach. Some of us see it as hygiene. Well, it's like brushing your teeth. You just have to do it, I guess. Si no tenías ese conocimiento secreto transmitido, no podías estar. Eso era gnosticismo. Y existe esto, me han encontrado con personas que me dan filosofías y conceptos de oración. Yo pregunto, ¿de dónde sacas esto? Esto es como un saber secreto que te hace sonar ilustrado, pero también muy alejado de la Biblia.

¿De dónde proviene esto? Por ejemplo, escuché a alguien recientemente al que oraron y no fue sanado, lo cual, por cierto, por eso se llama milagro cuando te sanan. Un derecho se llama un milagro. No. I don't know.

This crowd brings this up to me. I didn't say it before. I don't know why. Maybe someone here has that condition. Can I heal? Can I pray for someone now? No. Good. But do not offend God. I cannot ask with much clarity. I cannot be really direct. It is God. If it is your will, if it is your will. Then there is also the general cousin, very close to not offending God, the generalist. Decidió con quién debo casarme. De ahí viene la herejía del alma gemela. Como no estoy casado porque no encontré a mi alma gemela. No he encontrado a la única. Lo siento, amigo, no hay una sola. Hay muchas personas que podrían ser geniales y muchas que podrían ser horribles. Pero cuando pensamos que la soberanía de Dios significa que hay algo, algo fijo y así es como es, ¿por qué oraríamos? ¿Por qué oraríamos si todo está escrito en piedra? Y por eso muchos de nosotros no oramos. No sentimos que marque ninguna diferencia en absoluto. Dios cambia de opinión. Ahora seré muy, muy claro. Algunos están emocionando mucho con esto. Aguanten un poco.

Dios no cambia sus valores. Dios no cambia su entendimiento del bien y del mal. Dios no cambia sus mandamientos. Dios no cambia las cosas últimas que planea hacer en el mundo, como el día del juicio y demás. No cambia esas cosas. Pero la forma en que llega allí aparentemente es muy, muy flexible. Cuando Jesús dice, pide, busca, toca a la puerta, me recuerda una cita que uso siempre porque es una de las cosas más perspicaces de la oración que he oído que resume la Biblia sobre la oración de formas que no podría resumir. Proviene de Billy Graham. Billy Graham dijo, el cielo está repleto de respuestas a oraciones que nadie se tomó la molestia de elevar. En otras palabras, hay cosas que Dios va a hacer solo si se le pide. Hay cosas que solo podrás obtener si las pides. Hay cosas que las personas que te son importantes obtendrán solo si alguien intercede. Hay cosas en el mundo que se modificarán solo, solo si alguien lo pide. Hay un avivamiento masivo ocurriendo en nuestro país con gente joven. Nuestras iglesias están creciendo. Es principalmente gente joven y hombres jóvenes. Esto pasa también en Inglaterra. Es una locura.

Siempre son los mayores los que tienden más a Dios. Este es un caso raro donde son los jóvenes. Sí, ¿saben por qué? ¿Saben por qué? Porque he estado orando por ello. Por eso estoy orando por ello. Ustedes dicen, oh, por favor, sí, sí, lo he hecho. He estado orando por eso por años, años. Por cierto, no solo yo, mucha gente, mucha gente ha estado orando por eso. Eso es una locura. Eso es asombroso. Que los más seguidores apasionados de Jesús en el nuevo crecimiento de las iglesias sean varones jóvenes no religiosos. Esto es lo que está pasando. Lo estamos viendo. Y es porque la oración cambia las cosas. Ezequias. Ezequias cambia las cosas debido a esta oración. Las cosas son diferentes. I should have listened to this sermon when I was younger. May God change his mind. Not values, but things. I used to think, my children, I saw very annoying children in the student ministry. And many of those children had problems with authority because their parents didn't help them understand that they were the authority. If they don't see your authority, they won't fit. They will be whinnying wheels, complaining and crying.

It's weird. I thought, I don't want those children. I do want those from here, whose parents are authority. I worked hard on that with my children on time. I have a great relationship with my children. Fantastic. They all walk with Christ. They are great. And something I would like to have changed in my way of acting. Once I said, it didn't change. It didn't change. I thought, I'm going to open the door to crying and whining and begging every time. And I will keep my position. And my children would tell you that what I said the most in the family probably wasn't Jesus, Lord. In reality, it was, Dad always wins. Which means, means, don't try to convince me of this. I just said it. I said it. That solves it. I would put them to bed, pray for them, read them a story. And when I left the room, I whispered in their ear, Dad always wins. And I would leave. Just try. Ask them that. They will tell you. They will tell you. Now I look back. I would like to be more like Jesus. And more stories. About how I changed my opinion. I wish there were moments when I listened to them and said, Yes, I planned that.

But I love this child. And that is reasonable. I agree. But there weren't. And why would I wish that? Not because I wanted to be more kind to my children. But because I want to be like God. And that is precisely what God does. Could God be more explicit about the fact that he changed his opinion based on the prayers of what he is here? It's amazing. Second, expose your argument. Ezequiel gives the reason why he wants this. This is also what happens with Moses and God in the Old Testament. Where God said, I am going to annihilate the nation of Israel. I am tired of them. And Moses says, wait, no, no, no. You don't want to do that. You don't want to be like all those other foreign deities that do this kind of thing. You don't want to be known as the capricious God. You are the God of the patriarchs of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This is how you want to be remembered. That is your essence, God. God responds, hmm. Good point. Exodus 32, verse 13. The Lord withdrew from the disaster that he had decreed upon his people. He withdrew. He changed his opinion because he presents an argument. Whenever you can pray and expose the reason,

I want John to be whatever he is. I am praying for people who desperately want another child. And my reason is that I pray for them. God, you know that this couple follows you and desires you. And you know that if there is a child in this family, it will be raised in the right way. And we need more people raised in excellent homes to impact our world. God, will you make that sperm connect to the uterine tissue? God, could you? I imagine it and I am specific. But there is a reason. If you give a reason, it is like praying in the name of Jesus, according to his identity. The more you link it to something that he would like, the greater the probability that it will happen. Give your reason. Link it to the identity of God. This is what you are, God. It is not merely what I desire. I believe that this is your true identity. I have seen more healings. It has been crazy. They are miraculous. Not always, but I have seen more in the last, well, five years. Especially the last two years. I never thought I would see in all my life. It is real. It still happens. God still equips people to see people healed

through prayers. I have a friend from England who will visit Crossroads in all of our offices, from Lexington to Columbus, to help and give a workshop on how to experience the prayer of health and pray for another person. He has been a close friend of mine for 15 years. I invited him to my podcast. He is my friend, Paul McConaughey. For me, the Ministry of Health is something like this. I knew there was a time in my life where the Lord was telling me, I want you to persist praying for the health of people, although I have never seen anyone healed. For months and months and months, I prayed for people, without seeing anyone healed. But I felt the conviction that the Lord was telling me, I want you to persevere and not give up, because that is what the Bible says and is what I am ordering you to do. And my experience is that if you do this, and you persevere in it, you reach a breaking point where what you want begins to change. I have had practically a consistent base experience of praying, of observing what God does when I ask for health, of perhaps, on average, 50 to 60% of the people for whom I pray, not seeing a total advance of 100%, but seeing significant healing in about 50 to 60% of the people for whom I pray. Something very strange has happened in the last, perhaps, 4 or 5 months. In those environments, I go to churches to pray for people and it has increased by about 75%. Wow! And it has been, I don't know what God does, I don't know why, I don't feel like I have changed anything I do. After I go to different churches, many of these churches have never seen people healed before and they ask me to go for the first time. We basically have this seminar that I am inviting you to in all our sites and I will put it there again. We did this with our staff several months ago and we saw a significant advance with several individuals. You don't have to believe perfectly in prayer, you just have to have a grain of mustard of faith.

This is what Jesus said, a grain, just to begin with. God wants to hear you. This is not a new commandment that is something serious. Your Heavenly Father, He just wants to hear you. He wants to talk to you and He could do things that you wouldn't do if you didn't do them. That is very exciting. God, thank you for being a patient God. With imperfect people like me who struggle with prayer but believe in it. God, I pray that this has been a correction of course, that we come out a little more motivated and encouraged to talk to you. God, would you say yes to the people here? Would you say yes more times this week? Amen.
