And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 NKJV

Dwelt is the Greek “Tabernacle”. 

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  John 1:1 NKJV

There is no “The”. Because when you say, “in the beginning,” there was a definite point when Christ came into existence and Christ did not come into existence, He always preexisted. 

John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’  And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.” John 1:15-16 NKJV

For is the Greek Anti means “in place of”. Out of the fullness we have all received, and grace in place of grace.

For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift.  John 1:16 AMPC

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.  John 1:17 NKJV

“For” is the Greek  that means “because” That means what was going on in Verse 16, continues in Verse 17.  God is happy when you are happy. Truth is on the side of Grace. Grace comes before truth. “Came” in verse 17 is a singular verb. In the Greek, grace and truth literally comes. It should be grace and truth come. 

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.  John 8:32 NKJV

Jesus was talking to Jews, so this was referring to the law. There was grace in the Old Testament through types, shadows, but true grace comes through Jesus.

Every trial is for you to see Jesus in a fresh way. 

So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days. Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away. And many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. Now Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.” Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” John 11:17-27 NKJV

The revelation that they had for the past was not fresh for now. He wants to reveal Himself in a new way. Knowing Jesus as the bread of life would not raise Lazarus from the dead. They needed a fresh revelation.

Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.  John 9:1-7 NKJV

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,  II Peter 1:2 NKJV

Peace is shalom which means “Wealth, Health, and Peace.”

As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, II Peter 1:3 NKJV

Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD.  Jeremiah 9:23-24 NKJV

Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to eat. And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil. Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.” And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” So he said, “Teacher, say it.” “There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?” Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.” And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.” Luke 7:36-43 NKJV

“Freely” in Greek is Dorean means “without price or merit from anyone”. 

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,  Romans 3:23-24 NKJV

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?  Romans 8:32 NKJV

And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. “Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’ Luke 15:5-9 NKJV

And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.  Luke 15:20 NKJV

The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches. Revelation 1:20 NKJV

Angel is the Greek word Human Messengers which is translated Pastor. 

I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. Revelation 2:2-5 NKJV

First love is agape love. In other words, the Pastor has forgotten how much God loved him. Remove the lampstand means “the Pastor and the Church will shut down.”

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”Revelation 3:7-8 NKJV
