Most Christians Are Worshiping Themselves and Don't Know It
Pastor Richard Lorenzo Jr. challenges believers to examine the true object of their worship. He teaches that worship is not merely singing or attending church—it is revealed by what we prioritize, obey, sacrifice for, and live to please. Many Christians sincerely love God yet unknowingly place their own desires, comfort, opinions, emotions, or ambitions above His will.
True worship requires denying self and submitting completely to Christ. When our preferences consistently take precedence over God's Word, we can subtly become the center of our own lives rather than allowing Jesus to remain on the throne. The call of discipleship is to crucify the flesh daily, surrender our own agenda, and seek God's glory above our own.
The greatest idol a Christian may have to confront is self. True worship begins when Jesus is enthroned in every area of our lives and our greatest desire is His will, not our own.
The sermon encourages believers to honestly examine their hearts, repent of self-centered living, and return to a lifestyle where Christ is exalted above personal comfort, recognition, and desire.

We show you the backgrounds and the details and the testimonies of individual members that have been touched, that have been moved, that have been discipled, that have been set free, chains broken. And now they're being used by God mightily to break other chains in the name of Jesus. Amen, amen. And funny enough, today, the one today is actually about me and my wife and my family. So it's going to be beautiful. Y'all excited to see it. Y'all excited to see it. Amen, go ahead, productions. But before we met Jesus, man, I was in the world of course. I was, you know, on drugs, smoking weed, drinking, popping pills. You know, I then I met my wife and then, you know, Mary got together. And then that transitioned me into, you know, living in a broken home. Me and her with our first child.
And then we had another child and working and pretty much being like a functioning, like, drug addict. You know, I came from a background of being bullied and good girl gone bad and trying to always find that, that man, that emptiness, that love, but that love was really just lust. Because he wasn't going towards me, you know, going towards Jesus. He was me going towards just trying to find that void in men. The stuff that he was going through, the drugs, the drinking, his addictions and obviously, like, because we were not invited to the Lord into our home because of the fornication. It was, like he said, it was a broken home. September 1st of 2021. And that day, a lady that I've known for a couple of years, and she's telling me that she's going to this church, that she's left of the drugs, that she's been completely free, and she knows this guy named Rich. And I drove an hour away. I was just so desperate, man. I was just so desperate for God. I was just so, like, I had hit rock bottom, like, the Lord really broke my knees to that point where I knew that him was all I wanted. I was just so desperate for change. I called my husband and I'm like, hey babe, like, I forgive you. I don't care. Like, I just love you. I forgive me too for the things I've done. And right after that, Richard laid hands on me. And literally, I got deliverance. I got deliverance from Jezebel that same day. Yeah, man, the old man in the beginning. When we were all, when we would come gather at Richard's house, man, it was like, those are the memories that I hold on to until this day. You know, those were the days where we would come and we would worship with the TV. And, man, the glory was so real, and the presence of God being so tangible, and the preaching's being so real. And the brothers and sisters that were around me genuinely on fire, it wasn't just, you know, like going to church as a trander because we grew up this way or because it's just the right thing to do. It was genuine love for Jesus that drove all of us into that living room where we would all worship God in spirit and truth.
And then to listen to a mighty man of God preach the word and then miracle signs and wonders backing up what he just said. The gospel being preached to every service, you know, every gathering. And, man, it was, it was amazing. Jesus says that you didn't come to be served, but he came to serve. And that's really, that's what really represents Carlene and Richard because they really serve. And until this day, they still serve, and they still came to serve us. And no matter the time, they'll be there, and they'll take us out to eat, and it was very hands-on. And I could say that because of their dedication, their love for the flock is literally the reason why me and my husband are standing here to this day. I think making disciples is really just teaching somebody the way into the point where they can teach somebody else. Where they embody what the Bible says and are able to, you know, do it on their own. And man, we're, we are on top of them, you know, and they know that, they love that, they, they want that, you know, they want that phone call, they want that Zoom link in the chat, they want that, you know, Bible study, break down the word, one-on-ones, hey, listen, you have to, this is something, this is an area you need to grow in, you know, in moments, the Holy Spirit will lead me to just calling somebody, he'll give me a dream. And we'll reach out to them and it'll be so timely. It'll be so precise and it'll be exactly what they needed from us to let them continue on to their walk. And that's how we make disciples. Just the beauty of, of just seeing what the Lord did with my family, with my husband and myself in our marriage, the, the restoration, the, the love that he who he is right now is not who, who he was before us. He's unrecognizable, just the same as me, the same way that what the Lord did for me, I would like to be that person, that vessel that the Lord also uses in my husband to be that person, to help somebody else be transformed and changed into the likeness of Christ. What I'm excited to see here at The Rock is what God is going to do to the generation that, that is coming in. You know, I'm excited for the move of God that the Lord is fostering here at The Rock. You know, I'm excited to see young people lit up on fire. I'm excited to see, you know, us to have our own building, I'm excited to see the revivals with Big Bath, I'm excited to see, you know, just what God is going to do with, with the unexpected. The people that people don't expect, the people that are in darkness, the people that have never truly been to the church come to the church. You know, those people in the highways and the byways, the places that nobody goes, God touched those people and light them on fire and turn them into disciples and send them back out to bring more in. Now I'm excited to see the generations blessed by what God is doing here at The Rock. My our children's children's children will be blessed by what is done today at The Rock. So before we met Jesus, man. Wow, praise God. Come on, everybody stand up, man. I've got emotional. So we're going to give tonight onto a move of God that's making disciples. One of Jesus's last words, he says, go there for into all nations and make disciples. And when you give, you're giving onto a move of God that's making disciples and my life and my wife and my children, our life is a pistol to that.
That there are disciples being made here. There are true men and women of God that are being raised through this house and by the efforts of the Remnant Revival Outreach Center and under the leadership of our pastors. And we're going to give onto the move of God. Come on, can we give Jesus some praise for us giving onto the house of God? We're believing that the Lord is going to raise up a generation that's going to give onto the move of God. And we're going to be unashamed about it. And we're going to break religion off of the body of Christ. And we're going to make disciples. Who's excited to make disciples, man? So I want everybody to raise their hands, if you are in agreement, if you are in agreement with lives being transformed with Jesus Christ, the gospel being preached to all corners of the earth. If you are in agreement with that, I want you to raise your hand and join us in prayer as we bless tonight's offering. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we just thank you. We just thank you for the move of God. And we are unashamed of the move of God. And we thank you for lives being transformed, God, and we thank you, God, for discipleship, God, and sacrifice through a God they love when we lay down your life, for someone that you love, for we lay down our lives, Father God, for this move of God. So we thank you, Lord Jesus, and we bless your house tonight, Lord. And we are believing, Lord, that we are going to have our own house, God, and we're believing, Lord, for a generational change, Father God, by the efforts of this house of God, Lord. So we thank you, Lord God, for what you are doing, Lord, we bless you, we love you, we honor you. In Jesus' name and the church says together, amen, amen, amen. And we start worship at 6 p.m. Like I've said before, come on time, be ready, get your seats, make sure that you're ready to just worship and just forget about everything. When you come here, when we start, it's a powerful, powerful worship every time. And then we're gonna go ahead and go on to the next slide. If you're interested in becoming a member,
and if the Lord has confirmed to you and prayerfully, confirm to you that this is your house, just to testify really quickly, I have seen people come and become a member and be planted in this house and just grow and grow and grow. I have seen people who they come and they need discipleship and we're ready to disciple them. We wash their feet. This is a feet washing ministry, okay? I'm a testament of that, my husband, many people. And so this is a place where you truly will be discipled. And we make sure of that. So if God has confirmed that to you and you live in the state, you live in the area, pray about it, come to our orientation. We have our, what's it called? Our course that you can get to and it'll give you all the steps that you need. Next, we have the School of Revival. So if you are ready to join the School of Revival, this is the QR code that you will scan, Pastor Rich and Pastor Carlene, they're all about discipleship because Jesus is about discipleship, amen? So we have this opportunity to where you can closely be discipled by both of them, which is truly an honor. The Bible says that we give double honor to the elders, right? So it's beautiful that we get to sew onto the discipleship that God is doing through both of them.
And I mean, it's a win-win. So if you wanna join, go ahead and scan that QR code and it'll take you where you need to be. Next, we have UCF Evangelism. And so every single Wednesday, come on, let's give it up. Come on, come on, come on. I hear you guys like, kind of clapping, not really. I mean, it's powerful. This coming Friday, hallelujah. Since the beginning of this ministry, and this is very true, we have been going out to Downtown Evangelism. I mean, when I first started coming to the ministry, we would meet every single Friday in Downtown Evangelism. So this is where God has called us to. Whether you're a member, not a member, make it out to Downtown Evangelism. It's gonna be very, very powerful. There's baptisms every single time.
That's not normal. Like that is revival. Can we give it up for revival? Are we excited about revival? I'm excited about revival. Man, I'm just so thankful for just the seeds that are sown every single time we go out there. It's just so beautiful that salvation's. Next, we have a revival tour. We go through the dates every time. So this is the QR code to get to more information if you're watching online. And so if you wanna come, or if you wanna invite someone who just speaks Spanish, make sure you invite them, we have that available at the front, oops. So yeah, if you wanna get a translation machine, they have them at the front ready to go.
So let's go ahead and just welcome up Pastor Rich. (crowd cheering) All right. Father, I just pray that this Word will touch the hearts of your people. I pray that all of us, Lord, we just change here tonight. I pray that everything that's taught is caught in the heart, Lord, and we shift into more of your image. Jesus made this Word not fall on bad soil. May it fall on good soil. Holy Spirit, have your way. And I pray that every word that comes out of my mouth Thank you, you're going to do it. That you're pleased to do it, that you want to do it, to bring glory to Jesus' name. Jesus, you are King. Jesus, you are Alpha and Omega. Yeshua, the High Priest, the bridegroom, the Messiah. You're so amazing. We love you so much, Jesus. Thank you that you're making yourself so real tonight in this place. We can literally feel you, but you're here tonight. Make this word cut, yes. In Jesus' name and we all say together, Amen. All right, let's get straight into the message. I was praying and the Lord just put it on my heart. Again, it's a prophetic message. Straight from him is what he wants to release to y'all. So if you came here tonight, it's going to bless you. I'm pretty sure it's spot on and timely for a lot of you and it's the ministry of loneliness. We're going to talk tonight about the ministry of loneliness. Some of you maybe never heard a sermon like this and you need it, some of you have, and maybe it's going to refresh you or bring new revelation, but we all need this, Amen. Some of you teaching and preaching at the same time, but my goal is to get through this whole thing. I don't want to miss anything. I want to get through the whole thing. So Holy Spirit, please help me. Stay on this altar. All right, you ready? So I want to say something. Heaven opened at the lowest place on planet earth. Matthew chapter 3 verse 16. How many y'all love the word? Okay, I hope so. All right. Hey, all staying with me on this. Pay attention. This is deep stuff.
When he had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water and behold, the heavens were open to him and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove and a lighting upon him and suddenly a voice came from heaven saying, "This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased." Where was Jesus Christ of Nazareth baptized? Did y'all know that that's the lowest place on planet earth? Geographically, the Jordan River is the lowest place on planet earth. It is the lowest dry ground on this planet, roughly 1,300 feet below sea level. Why was Jesus baptized in the lowest place on planet earth? Why did the Father speak when his son was baptized at the lowest place on planet earth? Why? Because Jesus wanted to show us geographically that loneliness is the key to kingdom success. The great pattern, Jesus Christ. Why is he a pattern? Because we follow patterns, don't we? You follow the pattern of getting a job to make money to pay your bills, right? You follow the pattern of going to the gym to get strong or to lose weight. You follow the pattern of if I'm hungry, I eat, right? The greatest pattern for life on planet earth is Jesus Christ. His life is how we should be living. As we read the scriptures and the spirit of God brings light to the scriptures, that changes our inside and brings light to darkness and changes the darkness even more and more. So our hearts or our inner men's become more like Christ. We continue and desire to follow the pattern of Christ. Everyone say the pattern, Jesus. So heaven does not open over altitude. Heaven opens over depth. People think they have to go higher in order for God to approve, meaning be no more, have more ministry success, be seen, go viral, money, fame. People think that is what means heaven is backing you. Not sure at all, it's depth. And where is that depth that God is looking at? The heart, our inner men. In your inside, your inner men, how bad do you want Jesus? The Father's looking for those who truly want Jesus deep inside and nothing else. But why do we attest maturity to ministry success? Why is virility or likes or views or being known as a worship musician? Because you have a gift. Why is a gift glorified, but not the gift-giver? The gifts point people to the gift-giver who gives good gifts to all men. But the whole point of this life, and we were just talking about it in Romans 828, all things work for the good of those who love God. The entire point of this life in Christ,
being predestined, being chosen, being justified, being glorified, the whole purpose of the trials, the tribulations, the ministry assignments, everything we go through in life is to be conformed into the image of Jesus Christ. So if your desire or goal in Christ has been something other than that, it's time to repent and go low tonight. It's time to repent and go low tonight. If your desire for seeking Jesus was so that you can be known on an altar as a worshipper, repent and go low tonight. If your desire for seeking Jesus has been so that you can get married one day, repent and go low tonight. If your desire so that your life looks better than it was last year, according to worldly standards, repent and go low tonight. Let's stop looking at life like the world looks at life. Jesus was baptized in the lowest place on planet earth. Geography has become theology for us right now to know that the lowest place on earth is where Jesus Christ of Nazareth decided to be baptized. He could have been baptized anywhere. He could have went to a mountain top to get baptized if he wanted to. He could have went anywhere he wanted but he chose the Jordan River, the lowest place on planet earth. And lowliness is not a personality type. Listen to me, lowliness is not a personality type, a type. It's an assignment.
And it's the one assignment that Jesus took for himself. Why have we made lowliness being quiet, being shy, false humility? People think that if I curl up in a bar all every time I'm worshiping or from around people, I put my head down and try to act humble, that's what God wants me to do for lowliness. That's not lowliness. That's false humility and that's pride. Just because we go low doesn't mean we're not confident. Jesus Christ shows us the pattern in the scriptures. How confident was the Messiah, extremely? He went from city to city publicly casting out demons. I'm gonna say it again, publicly, if you're watching online, publicly cast it out demons and the Holy Spirit recorded it in the scriptures. He publicly cast it out demons and it was recorded by inspiration of the Holy Spirit in detail, raw and uncut in the scriptures. Did Jesus call someone to a corner where no one can see and say, come out in Jesus name. We don't want nobody to see. In the temple that he say, come here, come here woman. I don't want people to see that you're getting delivered. Let me show you how much I love you and pull you to this corner so nobody sees and it didn't go to the apostles and say disciples. Don't record this in the scriptures because that's not loving.
No, he casted devils out in public in front of everyone and then rebuke people for what we didn't believe. And then the Spirit of God who is equal to the Father and the Son had it recorded in the scriptures and we saw people online who think that recording of deliverance is not right. They don't know the word. They need to get in the Bible. We see the majority of Jesus' ministry was miracle signs and wonders and a lot of it was deliverance and healing. But Brother Joe, why have we got to the point where it's like where if we recorded deliverance or miracle healing, it's wrong and we're prideful. Religion, it's religion, you know what it is? They got unbelief. It convicts them because they can't move in that same grace or that same faith. So it makes a person stirred up inside to come against people who are moving exactly the same way that Jesus did. Can we all say Jesus recorded miracles? There's a ministry with no title, no announcement and no applause and it will carry more of God than any platform you stand on. Again, the ministry of loneliness. What are we doing when nobody's watching? What are we doing when nobody can clap for us or compliment us? What are we doing when that water drops on the ground in your home and you know you can clean it
but instead you just let your wife do it later? it's the only one left in the neighborhood instead of parking down the road you you you park in that parking space because you don't care and you just you it's a it's a guest parking and anyone could park there anyways but do we go low and say you know what they'll probably never know that I did this but God because I want to glorify you and I love you and I love them I'm not gonna park in the same spot they park every day because I know they park there even what's a guest parking and I'm gonna park down the road and walk even though they'll never give me an applause no one's in the car to say that oh what a good person I'm doing it for you Jesus that's loneliness what are you doing when nobody watches it's easy to do good things when everyone can see at least one person it makes you feel good when people compliment you right come on all of us right me too every don't act like it doesn't but it's what are you doing when nobody's watching well you give to someone without them knowing that you gave to them when you drop off a check at someone's door and then leaving and and envelope at someone's door and leaves so that they don't have any idea it was you just you can get you can give all the glory to God and get all all the honestly the I would say not the praise but I would say just the smiles from God because faith is what pleases him I want my father to smile down on me and be like good job my son that was faithful I want my audience to be one my audience is one I want my dad to be like good job son I want my dad to look at me and say you know what that was amazing my son I saw what you just did that was so faithful no one else saw it great job that's that's what the father's looking for is our audience people or is our audience one everyone say audience of one look at this Matthew 11 28 come to me all who labor and are heavy heavy laden and I will give you rest take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls for my yoke is easy and my burden is light did you know that this is the only time that Jesus described his heart in the scriptures he had 33 years to describe himself and he opened the
description of his heart one time and the and the word he reached for again was lowly couldn't Jesus have said powerful couldn't he have said I'm king of kings couldn't he have said I have sovereignty over everything but instead he says lowly is he powerful is he king of kings is he God but he describes himself as lowly and gentle it's an invitation to exhausted people that word and that verse or that passage for labor that Greek word is used to describe someone striving someone who has two jobs working super hard to pay their bills and you feel exhausted someone who's been waking up early to get their kids ready for school take them to school come back work hard go to work pick them up take care of them for that single mother who has no help that's taking care of her children how many single mothers do we have in here man man further let's give him a round of applause come on we honor you I know as hard as a mother because I see my wife who I honor so much do it if it wasn't for my wife this ministry would not be where it's at but my wife is extremely supportive she is literally my help and she is my rib I promise you I honor her so much and I was telling her today I honor her because of who she is internally because she wouldn't be doing everything she's doing unless her heart was forgotten for others and I see her as a as a as a as a parent with as a as a wife with me and how hard it is I could only imagine what it is to be a single mother but I'm here to tell you that there's a way come to me all right let's read it again who labor and are heavy laden that word for heavy laden that Greek word describes someone putting burdens on you how many people feel like you're striving in life and at the same time people are putting even more weight on you this is what Jesus is talking about and then he says take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle and lowly and hard so does Jesus say he's gonna take he's gonna change the situation so now you have one job instead of two or he's gonna stop people from coming at you and putting through the people putting weight on you, I can actually yoke you up to me and you can learn from me so you can get through it
and have rest. Does this make sense? (congregation applauding) Okay, watch this. "For I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your..." "and the presence of God is the foolish of joy, it's rest, it's peace." What Jesus is saying is when you go and you seek Him and I've heard mothers say this, mothers will say I got so many kids, so much going on, it's hard for me to seek the Lord. How does your wife or how do you do it? You know why we do it? Because it's necessary. Because if we didn't, we would get burnt out. If we didn't, we would start snapping on our kids and yelling at them because we're overwhelmed. If we didn't seek the Lord and have an intimate relationship with God, we're my wife. If my wife decided to stop waking up at five o'clock in the morning throughout the week, she wouldn't be able to seek the Lord like she does. She wouldn't have that rest. She knows, six, thirty hits. My kids are in the room, they gotta get ready. She's cooking breakfast for my kids, for me. She's getting their backpacks ready. We're getting them in the car. I'm getting ready, I'm leaving to go to work for the day.
She's the one taking them to school. She drops them off, she comes back. Then she has to go work and do admin stuff as an executive pastor of this ministry and taking care of things behind the scenes that none of you have any idea of how hard it actually is. And she's doing so much work behind the scenes. And then she, and then I pick up the kids from school. I take them, and while I pick up the kids from school and take them to the park, that's what she's doing. Making dinner. And she's making dinner and lunch for the next day for one, two, four kids, six people. (audience applauds) And at the same time, she's simultaneously cleaning the house, discipling woman on the phone, still handling making phone calls. And still somehow has the ability to do an hour of pilates, I don't get it. (audience laughs) And then we come home and she spends intimate time with us. And then I take the boys and take them a shot of bath and she takes the girls. And then we get them to bed and we put them in, we put them to sleep, and then she's able to finally take about a shower while I'm putting the kids asleep and have her own alone time. And then she has to deal with me after that and we have long conversations. Even though she's tired, but she listens and cares.
And we pray together, and she does that every day. How does she do it every day? I'll tell you, and she'll tell you. It's that five a.m. get up and hit that closet for the next hour and a half. And she's not, I'm telling you, she's not letting me steal that from her. She's not letting the kids steal that from her. She doesn't let anything steal that time with the Lord. Because she knows. He's the one that gives me rest. That's loneliness. Loneliness is full dependence on God. Because she realizes, if I don't do this, I will have arguments for my husband. If I don't do this, I will snap on my children. If I don't do this, I'll start getting discouraged with ministry and wanna give up. If I don't do this, who knows where I'll go? She understands that because she's felt that before. She has a personal relationship with God, where she's learned, Jesus, you are literally my cornerstone, my anchor. And without you, I have nothing and I need rest. So she's able to get throughout the day and still have a smile on her face and it's genuine. For all the women out there, I say this to encourage you, through Jesus Christ, he'll give you the grace to be that help mate for your husband. Or for the single woman, you can do it
through the grace of God only. If you start doing all the works, but forget Jesus and that he gives you the rest in peace, he makes it easy and light. If you forget that, you will become the opposite of what God's called you to be while doing a whole bunch of works for God. (gentle music) Do you want that woman of God? Do you want your husband on fire, but you're not because you have so much going on with the kids in work? I've seen that combination, where the husband's on fire, but then the woman's not and her excuse is, I have so much to do around the house. It's so hard for me to seek the Lord. Seeking the Lord is the whole reason for why you're doing what you do. You've lost sight in your heart of the purpose for you being a wife, a mother, and everything else you do, which means to me, you're doing it for you. [MUSIC PLAYING] If you felt convicted, I don't hate you, it's for you, it's for you to receive this and change and tonight really go deeper with God, okay? Let's read Isaiah 57 verse 15, "God gave this address to you twice and the second one's going to touch you. Watch this. I want to read Isaiah 57, 15, and also Psalm 138, 6. So Isaiah says, "For thus the high and lofty one who inhabits eternity, whose name is holy,
I dwell on the high and holy place with Him who has a contrite and humble spirit to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the contrite ones." So who revives the contrite and the humble, the holy one, God? And look at Psalm 138, "Though the Lord is on high," look at this, "yet He regards the lowly, but the proud He knows from afar." What does it mean to go low to realize you need Jesus and without Him you can't make it? What does it mean to be profitable to do things on your own going back to the garden to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil where you're worshiping self? I was saying it today at the pre-service meeting, what is Satanism? When you talk to someone who's a Satanist, you ask them, do you believe in Satan? They'll tell you, "I don't believe in Satan. I believe in myself." So since the garden Satan never told Eve worship me, he told Eve to worship herself. So Satan's objective is not to be worshiped himself if he can get you to worship yourself. So what's the worship itself depending on you and your own might and strength instead of trusting that you and believing and knowing that you need God to get throughout the day? What does it mean to humble yourself under the mighty hand of God? It means to go under his mighty hand in that secret place and seek him daily because he's your source. What does it mean? How do you become prideful? Because some people will be like, "Man, this guy, the way he preaches his pride for why, because I'm bold and confident. I'm bold and confident because he gives me the juice by his spirit." Listen to me, he gives me that juice for that grace. I sip on his spirit. I get filled with the Holy Ghost and he gives me the fire to preach the way I do. It only comes from him what's his grace, his empowerment. How are devils casted out by the power of the Holy Spirit?
How is the sick healed by the power of the Holy Spirit? Why do people come every service and give their life to Jesus and at our church we don't see revival because of the power of the Holy Spirit? And look, I'm going to tell you something. God would not back me if I didn't have an intimate relationship with him. It wouldn't last long. This is why ministries and ministers fall because they want to preach and do things for God and look cool up on that stage, but they have no intimate relationship with him. They have no secret place life. That's why I preached a few months ago, the greatest weapon is the what, the secret place. Those who dwell under the shadow are protected. So what is it being prideful? What does it mean to be prideful? To think that you can make it through life without Christ, moving just like Adam and Eve. And to think that you don't need Jesus and you can do it on your own and out think your own ways and make your own decisions and then you can be good for a few months to a year but I promise you what's going to happen is you're going to fall and you're going to have to make another decision going back to Jesus or continuing to follow yourself. And unfortunately, there are people out there who will fall and still continue to get deeper and deeper in self worship. No deep in self worship, what they do in life is what fuels them. I have to be known, I have to be successful, I have to make money, I have to be liked. And then when they get it, they get fueled up to keep going, that's their juice. And the devil loves that because he'll give him what they want. Here you go, here you go, here you go, like that, here you go, come here, keep following the crumbs. this way, until he's done using you. You follow Christ, you can form more and more into His image. Does God want to bless us? Of course, can God make you known and famous?
Of course, can God give you ministry success? Of course, all those things come in, all those things are added when you seek first His. And where's the kingdom of God? In you, it's the presence of the Lord. And where do you learn about His righteousness? In the Scriptures, seek first the kingdom of God inside of you, the presence of God. Humble yourself under His mighty hand. Go low, seek Him, go to the Jordan River. And all His righteousness, how can I know why God, Jesus Christ, was in perfect right standing with the Father? How do I know that He was perfect unless I read the Word of God and I get light from the Word that changes me? I seek first the kingdom and all His righteousness. And then what happens? Everything that I need is added. But people want the addition without the Jordan River. They want to be lifted high without going low. Those who humble themselves under the mighty hand, I got what happens. And do time, you'll be exalted. (soft music) Those who seek Him diligently will be rewarded openly. So is it a gifting? Is it a gifting? Is it how good you can play an instrument? Is it how well you can talk? I didn't go to communication, I didn't learn
how to communicate and go to a class or seminary theology thing. I just learned how to preach from the conviction of the Holy Spirit inside of me. From the Holy Ghost. This self-seeking Christianity has to die and we need to go low. For real, we have to go low with Jesus Christ and really want Him internally. And cry out to Him and say, God internally, I want you a lot right now, but there's more I can go even deeper. I know there is, and there's so much cooking me, clean me out so I can be radically in love with you to where I'm obsessed with being conformed and transformed into your image because I'm human, I have all this stuff that I can't even see and I know I need you. Like, it's not going to Jesus saying, thank you God, I'm perfect and I'm here and they don't know you like I know you and ha ha, I know it's going to Jesus, lowly saying, God, I need you for real. You cry out to Him saying, God, I want you and I need you and I can't even get there or go deeper unless you bring me deeper and I cry out to you from my heart, take me deeper, Jesus. Take me deeper, Jesus. And you begin to weep in God's presence, asking Him to take you deeper and transform you more
because you can't do it on your own and you've recognized that. I don't go to God pridefully saying, I died at all, I go to Him crying. I go to Him shaking in the reverence of the Lord, with reverence and trembling before His face, I cry out to God, I say, God, I kill all these views and people and fame, they walk up to me and they idolize me, I hate it. And I cry and say, God, don't let me be taken by the world. Destroy everything if it's going to take my soul. And I cry and I cry and say, God, I hate this, I hate it. I hate it. Take me back to it with nobody knew who I was, nobody knew who this ministry was. Take and I cry out to God for that. And I say, God, I just want you. And every time I go deeper with God like that, He seems to lift things higher and it gets more and more scarier. When I look at someone's eyes and they look at me like I'm a freakin' idol, I hate it. And I might even look that as a human being. And they're looking at me like some genie or some idol, I hate it, I hate it. Don't come to this church thinking I'm gonna give you a word. I want you to know Jesus. That's why I preached the way, that's why I'm here tonight, that's why I'm here every Sunday night, so that people will know Jesus Christ,
so that they wouldn't know Him. If you don't know Jesus, if you don't have a personal relationship with God, you will go to hell, this is real. I'm serious though, stop clapping for one second please. Listen, if you don't know God, you will say I never knew you. This is real. Stop playing church, stop playing religion and go low tonight. And when you come to the altar, give them your everything, whatever you got in here. Even if you don't know what it means to give him your all, just give everything to him in your heart. Internally, pour out your heart and be like, "God, I just need you, I don't even know what you do." That's where he meets you. That's when you become broken and contrite, and he revives you. That's what I just read in the word. He comes to those who are broken and contrite, and he revives you. And he keeps you and he holds you in this wicked world. Stop trying to do it on your own and trust in him. We need him for real. Without him, we will be, we're cooked, we're done. I'm serious. We have to fear the Lord. We have to know him. Look at this.
Again, loneliness is not an attitude. It's real estate. Again, I dwell in the high and the holy place. That's the address. With him who has a contrite and humble spirit. That's another address, address one and address two. Same verse, same sentence, same God. At the same time, so loneliness is not a mood that you work up on the way into worship. It's the ground he builds on. In plain terms, God keeps two houses. You can't reach the first one yet. And there is no third. If you wanna find him, there's only one address left. And what's that? A contrite and humble spirit. Contrite and humble spirit. And contrite is actually the Hebrew word daka. Y'all wanna know what daka means in the Hebrew? Look at this. Pulverized, crushed, ground to dust. It's what happens under grain with stone. So when you tell God, look at this, when you tell God this season, look at this, ground you into powder, God says, that's my address. When you say, God, this season crushed me. Bring me low, Lord. Crush my pride, crush anything I can't see. Just crush me and bring me, Lord. That's his address.
Most people in a crushed season are begging God to get them out of it. And he's been trying to tell them that's where he moved in. If you're crushed right now because of what you're going through, that's where God wants to meet you at. And look at what he does. In this verse, to revive. How many of us want revival in this house? Okay, so according to that word, how is it contrite and humble? So remnant revival outreach center, how will we see revival? Is it from dancing and shouting more than than we did before? Is it the big building so everyone can be in all? I told God, I said, God, I pray that we don't get this building and idolize it. And I said, God, don't bring any building if we're going to idolize it. Because yes, thank God for a building that we're saving up for, but I don't want a building and to treat it as a trophy over Jesus, an idol over Jesus. I've heard of ministries falling like that. I talked to a pastor friend of mine, he said, there's ministries that literally fall just like that.
Whole congregation praying and saving up and believing for a building. They finally get it. And then the whole congregation gets perverted by that spirit of the world. They stop letting in the broken. They stop letting in the people that need their feet washed. They start caring so much about the building like an idol. And I said, God, I asked that pastor and his wife in California, I said, "Laying hands on me." And I pray that you pray that this never happens to me. And I weep as they prayed over me. I don't want to idolize a building. A building is not us making it, we already made it. We already made it, whether there's a building or not, we made it because we have Jesus. So how do we have revival, rock, remnant revival at our center, being contrite and broken, seeking the Lord. That's why I preach it. We seek him, he brings revival. Does this make sense? We got to go deeper with the Lord, amen. Last today, I said, "Who's not been seeking God all week?" And not too many people raised their hands, but I feel like now it's just, it's so different in this atmosphere of reverence. Raise your hand. Raise it high. That's repentance and amen. That's good.
That you recognize it. You can't just come on Sunday and expect to just be in God's presence here. And then the whole week, not seek Him notes every day you need daily bread. You know why I need daily bread for the people in the back? You know why? Because I go throughout the day and I can only know what I know. And there's so many things happening that I can't see. I will get outsmarted finesse and just destroyed by the lowest ranking demon. I literally know I need Jesus. I need Him. I need His presence and I need His Word. And I can trust that. You know, that's literally my safety. Like I start feeling this pull to the secret place where I'm like, "Oh my God." And then as soon as I get in the secret place, I feel literally safe. Like the Psalmist talks about in the book of Psalms. I literally feel that way. Where I'm finally in His glory, "Thank you, I'm safe." I get tormented by not spending time with Jesus. I literally need Him. Do you need Him? Do you literally need Him? Like in your heart, you will see revival in your life, man, all the prayers you've been praying. They don't get answered from you praying them more. They get answered from you spending time with Jesus more. Oh, that's religious. You're being workspace. Okay. Say whatever you want.
When we stand before Jesus and you really realize that you wasted your life on yourself, when you could have been spending time with Jesus, you know what causes work, workspace religion, the way you see it. If you're seeing it as I spend time with Jesus, I get a bunch of blessings. If you're religious, you're transactional, but when you see it as I need you, God, I don't care what I do in this secret place, but you, if it's worship, if it's the word, if it's just prayer, I just need you, God. I look at my wife sometimes and say, "Bitch, stop talking, I got to go pray." So many times, it's not because I want to be rude to her. She just knows I need to go spend time with Jesus. There's no demon on me. I'm not being oppressed. I just, I'm drawn to Him and I miss Him. And some of you right now is like, "What does that look like? Just go do Him." Just go, like, how about this? If you have no idea what it means to go in a closet and see God, go into a closet, buy yourself, put a pillow on the ground and lay there until you figure it out. I promise you, that's how I learned. I learned that there's this closet thing, I saw this guy online preach about a secret place and it's a closet. I read the verse. I literally went to my closet and it was a small little closet. I sat down. I just stayed there and I just started crying and I started crying because I didn't know what to do. But then the Lord just started to teach me and slowly, but surely I'd bring my Bible in there. I got a little light, got some anointing oil, began to pray in there, put my phone with a worship song on, began to worship and I started to learn what it means to spend time
with Jesus by spending time with Jesus. Everyone say go do it, just do it. And that word contrite in the Hebrew, again, it means crushed. I want you to learn that just, it means crushed. You cannot get close to God and stay big in your heart. You cannot get close to God and see yourself as super big in your heart. There isn't room in the house for both of you. Psalm 138 says the Lord is on high. The Lord is on high. Everyone say amen. The proud, he knows from afar off. That's crazy. The proud, he knows from afar off. That means he knows them, but they're far away. Whenever I talk to people and I say, hey, and I'm discipling someone, I say, are you experiencing the tangible presence of God now? I don't experience that we're talking about. First thing I say, you're prideful. You can't experience God's presence because you're prideful. Because you mean more to, you mean more internally than God does. You need to release yourself, you need to renounce yourself. Some of y'all need to renounce and die to yourself tonight and go low. God, I've been caring too much about myself. I've been focusing on and meditating on my presence. The problems you're going through now, even if they have breakthrough and get solved, doesn't mean you won't have problems again. Listen to me, this is logic. On this planet, in this lifetime, we will always have problems.
It rains on the just. Okay, so we know this. So why are we so focused on the inevitable? If Jesus wants to take care of it all. My God wants me to focus on him, his righteousness, his kingdom, his presence, the great commission. He wants me to focus on certain things that the word talks about and give everything else to him. So he solves all the things that the world says you should focus on. And he wants me to focus on all the things that the world doesn't focus on. You know, real talk, when I found this, I remember when, man, I first year being saved and I was reading the word and I'm finding out all these things, I felt like I caught a cheat code, like I hit a lick. But those I understand what that means. I was like, oh my gosh, these most Christians don't know this 'cause they don't do it. So if I do this, oh my God. And I started doing it and doing it more what the Bible says to do, I actually did it. And then I would see fruit. And it would excite me so much to wanna do it more. And then it would excite me to get in the word because the word is not just a book I read because the pastor says I have to read the Bible. It became a book of directional guys
into experience with God. So as I read the word of God, I see it as holy, is set apart and like a manual into experience with God. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? I do what this word says. I get to experience God. What? What? But you know what the problem is about your Christ? Not everybody believes that. They try to read the word to renew their mind in a transactional way of their life becoming better. Look God, I read your Bible. I read about the story of Abraham. Can you please solve this issue with my finances? Even though Abraham, the father of faith, has a bunch of good seed in the book of Genesis, directional patterns that we can follow to experience God the way Abraham did. My goodness gracious. Everyone say I love the Bible. Look at this, John 13, 3. Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands and that he had come from God and was going to God, rose from supper and laid aside his garments, took a towel and girded himself. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet
and to wipe them with the towel with which he was girded. Loneliness is not thinking bad about yourself. It's being free enough from yourself to stop thinking about yourself. When Jesus did this, did he know what he was about to go through in the next 24 hours? Did he have awareness that he was about to give himself in to be arrested and be crucified? He had full awareness. But instead of focusing on that, 'cause some of us that we were in Jesus' shoes, we would have been freaking out. Just asking everyone, please pray for me. Please pray for me, lay hands, lay hands. Please pray for me, I'm just going through it. I'm just going through it. I just need you to help me out, right? Did Jesus do any of that? He served in a time where he should have been freaking out. He girded himself as a lowly slave and washed the feet of his disciples, including the one who would betray him. Are you kidding me? How can a human do this? I'll tell you how, when they're so dead to themselves, when their life doesn't matter anymore, when the only thing that matters is bringing glory to the Father. And that's when your mind is not clouded and cluttered
with yourself and is so free and empty with Jesus. And then he begins to show you, look at this son, look at this daughter, go do this, and you can hear his voice and move according to his will because you're not thinking about you. because the only voice you hear is yourself. You to renounce yourself. You're so stuck on your issues and problems that you forget that Jesus is the problem solver and that he's not even caring about it. He already got it done. None for real, like I seriously mean this. You want to know how you can get your breakthrough? Stop focusing on it. Real talk. And every time, but you know who's going to happen, you know who wants you to focus on it? Say it. He will bring back the thing, but, but remember this, remember this, they did this to you, they did this to you. You got to handle this, you got to, that's the devil. But when you say, when he comes with those lies, thank you Lord, your name is Jehovah, the Lord who provides you will provide for this, provide for this, provide for this, provide for this, provide that atmosphere goes. And then you say, Jesus, what's up? What are we doing now? Come on, who can I serve? Who can get saved?
Who needs to get set free? Who needs me to call them and give them a word? Come on, show me. And he says, get in the car, son, let's go. Where are we going? Bow, bow, bow, bow. Whoa, I'm out. I do that with the Lord. No cameras, and we go places, and things happen. Because I'm excited to listen to him and focus on him. And I got worship music in the car blasting, and I'm freaking out in God's glory. Like literally freaking out, like, I love you so much, because I'm seeing miracles. Because he's moving, because I'm not focused on me. Or you don't have a lot of problems, you don't know. You don't know what I'm going through. That Jesus is handling. I don't even catch this. I don't even attach that to myself. Like the issues that the world will say is attached to you, I detach it from myself when I pray. That's my praise. Thank you, Jehovah Jairah. Thank you, Jehovah Nissi. Thank you, Jehovah Raphla. Thank you, Jehovah Shala. All these names of God allow me to detach that burden to him and let him handle it and focus on his things. That's the yoke.
Does this make sense? But do you believe it? Do you believe that he's Jehovah Nissi who fights your battles? Or are you still trying to fight your own battles and trying to think about something you can't even solve? I used to do that in the world. Think about everything too much. It would make me go crazy, and I would not be satisfied until the thing got handled. Revengeful until something satisfies me. Even if I can't get revenge on this person, I'll do this to this person, so it makes me feel good about this person. And still, I'm going to handle this person later. That was my mindset because I was tormented. You know what I do now? When the devil wants me to focus on my problems, I win souls. I get excited. I say, "God, you know what? He wants to attack. Show me where to go. I'm going to attack too. I'm going to attack too." No, listen, she knows this. I literally know for real. She knows this. I'll attack even more. Or is this walking Christ all about you? I see people giving up the witchcraft.
You don't need beads to be doing witchcraft. You know what witchcraft is? Trying to control your own life. Some Christians moving like witches more than most witches. Everything is transactional. It's about how their life can become better for them. Are you kidding me? I thought we were dead. I thought we died under the water. I thought it's no longer me who lives, but Christ who lives. I mean, what happened? Where did we lose track of that? This is what revival is. Going low. Wanting him more than your own self. And not getting so excited when God starts breaking you through different barriers that you forget the one who broke you through. And how can I get like that, Pastor? How can I be like that? I'll tell you, it's every day seeking the Lord. You cultivate intimacy with God. You cultivate that relationship of prayer worship in the Word. You give him that time consecrated daily, and because you connect to the vine, like the Word says, you will, you will bear fruit. And that fruit that you bear, whatever the fruit is, it's not for you, it's for others to eat so that they come and connect to the vine too. So at the end of the day, it ain't even about the fruit either. It's about the one who allows the fruit to be born. I don't -- man, bro. I idolize in fruit.
Let's idolize Jesus. Let's put him before everything. Let's want to be like Jesus more than anything. Let's just cry out. I want to start to stand up real quick. Let's stand up. How many hearts right now are stirred right now? You just feel like your heart stirred. Thank you. Thank you, Lord. Can y'all hear in my voice that this is really how I live? Can you hear this? Can you feel it? You can feel it, right? Okay. I say that for anybody here who's doubting. If I don't practice what I preach, I will be disqualified. It's not just for y'all, it's for me too. I feel the conviction of the Lord. I feel the fear of God. So what we're going to do for the next, I don't know, however many, is we're going to cry out to God in repentance. And we're going to cry out to God in repentance from being prideful, self-centered, from being so focused on ourselves that we lost track of Jesus. And as you cry out for that, I want you to also cry out to God in your heart and ask Him to help you change. Ask Him to help you transform into the image of just to make it simple. Ask Him to become like Jesus. You cry out for it because if you cry out, He's faithful. He's faithful to come and come for you and He's going to give you what you ask for.
If you cry out from deep within, okay? Are y'all going to be vulnerable in the house of God and cry out from deep within? Okay. In charge, we just play whatever you feel about the Spirit. You can turn up His volume. And productions, you want to fix the lighting because it's going to be for the next few minutes. We're going to cry out to God. Begin crying out to God. Begin crying out to God. And if you want to come to the altar, feel free to come up here. For the next few minutes, we're going to cry out to God. And if you came here for something else, and this bores you and you don't want to be your leaf. For him, because be real, right? You've tried it. You've been through it. You tried your ways. You tried the relationship. You tried the drugs. You tried the success in the career. You tried it and guess what? It always led you to the same place. Unfulfilled, empty, avoid. Aren't you tired of it, aren't you, right?
Who's tired in here in the front? You're tired, you're tired. And you know that the only true way to be filled and to have peace and to have love is to get the one that gives peace. The one that is love. The one that will give you peace and give you love. It's the only way for all my people that have give their life to Jesus. I want you to give praise to God real quick. If you've got a testimony, if you gave your life to Jesus, if you gave your life to Jesus against our lives and you never went back, y'all hear that? That's testimonies. Y'all hear that? Those are people that encounter Christ. Those are people that stop hearing about Him from somebody else and want to go find out for themselves who are tired of other people telling them about God. They said, "You know what? I want to try this God. "Who is He? Where can I find Him? "It's Jesus." Everybody say, "Jesus, Jesus." That is the name above every other name. That is the Alpha and the Omega. This is not a motivational speech. This is the blood of Jesus that you have access to. The Bible says that you are saved by grace through faith. Saved by grace through faith. You have to have faith that he died on the cross and that he rose on the third day because he did.
You got to believe that, man of God. You got to believe that woman of God. Y'all got to believe it. That even though you're going to give your life to Christ right now, as soon as you go home, the war begins. And it's a war between you and yourself, between you and the world, between you and the enemy, but guess what? He's going to be with you every step of the way. He's going to be with you every single step of the way. The gospel is very, it's a beautiful story. It's the greatest story that you're ever going to hear that God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son and whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. We've all fell short, we've all fallen short. We all fall short. You're going to fall short, but you got to get back up and continue to. And even when you fall short, you don't run from Him in condemnation, you run to Him. You run to Him. You run to Him. And knowing that the Bible says that if you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to wash away all unrighteousness. Faithful and just. Jesus died on the cross, a perfect man, God Himself, left eternity. He left everywhere that He was that He left it and humbled Himself, came onto the earth, came in a form of a baby.
He walked this earth perfect with no sins. He was baptized, He started His ministry, He proclaimed the Kingdom of Heaven. He says that He is the only way. So if you're mine right now, you're thinking, "Maybe this is not the way, then don't even give your life to Christ." He said to Himself that, "I am the way, the truth and the life." You have to believe it, that He is, there is no other way. As soon as you come to Him, you're engrafted into Him, because His blood now washes you and every mistake that you've ever made is washed away. Everything that you've ever did in your life is washed away now. When you give your life to Christ, you are a new creation in Christ. That means the old man is done away with. That means any mistakes that you've ever made, they're washed away. And now you become a Son of God and you enter the Kingdom of Heaven. And this is the good news that you can have everlasting life. That you can meet the Savior, the one that we're singing about, the one that we're crazy about, the one that we're dancing. And you're like, "Why are these people dancing?" It's because they tasted and seen of a goodness. They found the purpose of life. They were able to encounter the one true living God, and He's personable, and He's loving, and He's relentlessly chasing you and He loves you so much. And all He wants to do is heal you and restore you and give you strength and take away everything the world did to you and replace it with His love. That's what He wants to do. And that's what's going to happen right now. If you believe this message in your heart and you're ready to say, "I'm done with this old life. I'm done with my old ways, and I'm ready to seek Jesus,
however that looks like." I want you to raise your hand if you're in this front. If you're ready, if you're not ready, it's okay. But I want soldiers. I want people that are going to convert. Not an emotional moment, but a life-changing moment. If you believe that, raise your hand. It's very simple. We're going to walk you guys through a prayer. We're going to have the prayer team lay hands on you, and then it's time to get baptized. So I want you to keep your hand up. If you believe that, if you believe that, I want you to say it. So just repeat after me, say, "Jesus." Say, "I receive you into my heart as my Lord and Savior." Say, "I'm done with the world, with my past, with everything that separates me from you." So if today you gave your life to Christ, you need to be baptized. It's okay if you were already baptized in the name of Jesus and you understood repentance. If you're just coming back because you backslit, you don't need to be baptized again. But if this is a true experience of repentance or you heard the gospel, you're saying I'm repenting today and I'm giving my life to Christ, the next step is water baptism. Water baptism is the public declaration of your faith. You publicly declare that I am a follower of God, I'm a follower of Jesus Christ, I gave my life to him, I'm born again and now you're gonna, the same way that he died, you're gonna die under the water, the same way that he rose on the third day, you're gonna rise up out that water a new creation in Christ. It is the first step of discipleship and it's a holy sacred thing where you renounce the world, you renounce the devil, you renounce everything and you get under that water as a revelation of death to life. Amen?

It's a great communion, right? Because it's a blessing when you can truly come and gather and sit at his table to remember what he did. To bring in to remembrance his sacrifice and how he broke his body in half us. So before anybody partaking communion, I just want us to take a moment to evaluate our hearts. Whatever you know that you need to let go of because I do not want anybody in this building, even those watching online, if you're taking communion with us.
Whatever you have, I want you to take time to evaluate your heart and to relinquish anything that you know that you need to relinquish tonight. Whether it be unforgiveness, whether it be bitterness, whatever it may be, the lust, the pride. It may be something that you know personally that's between you and the Holy Spirit. And tonight, I want you to let it go, lay it at the altar so that you may be able to partake in communion. And if you're unwilling to, please put the cup down and I would just kindly ask you to refrain from taking communion. So we're going to take a brief moment of silence so that you could just commune with the Holy Spirit and lay down whatever you know that you need to lay down. Hallelujah. ♪♪♪ ♪♪♪ ♪♪♪ ♪♪♪ ♪♪♪ So I want us to remember something as we gather at the table. Communion is remembering what Jesus is doing for you because he died. The cross tells me that Jesus gave himself for me. So I want everybody to understand this. Jesus did not just die and leave us. Christ is still praying. And that right there changes how we approach the table from this moment out. So I want to read a quick verse. Luke chapter 22 verse 31 to 32. And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, indeed Satan has asked for you that he may sift you as we. But I have prayed for you that your faith should not fail. And when you have returned to Me, shrinking your brethren. So I want you guys to pay attention and notice the language. Satan comes to the Lord and he asked the Lord to sift Simon like we. And in order for him to be able to ask of the Lord of such a request, that means that he had legitimate claims, correct? That means that he had an accusation that was worthy to be brought before the Lord. And notice what Jesus says.
And this is why we have to understand when we come to the communion table. This is understanding what Christ did for us because of his sacrifice. Because of what he did. Because it sounds to me like Satan had all the evidence to actually ask of such a request. And notice what Jesus says. Jesus says. But I have prayed for you that your faith would not fail. He didn't say he prayed that he would stop Satan from sifting him. No. He didn't say he prayed that his ministry wouldn't fail. He didn't pray that his finances or everything. No, he said his faith would not fail because ultimately what is Satan after your faith. And this gives you something that you can stand on because of the sacrifice of Jesus. Because of him coming down. and sacrificing himself, paying our debt. Now he's the one who intercedes on our behalf and not only intercedes on our behalf, but he also empower us. So when Satan tries to come with sifting, we're able to stay strong. We're able to walk in faith and not only walk in faith, guess what? When you return to the Lord, go strengthen your brothers. Go strengthen your sister. That's only possible because Jesus Christ now paid your debt. He paid your debt. That means Satan can't even destroy you. That means that Satan himself have to even go ask the Lord. That shows you how sovereign God is.
That shows you how uncontrolled he is. And because of his sacrifice, he uses Satan like a substitute teacher to strengthen your faith. To strengthen your faith. While Satan thinking he's coming to destroy you, God is saying I'm gonna let it happen so that your faith may be built up. To know that I came and I delivered you from the hands of death. I delivered you from the wicked obligation of the accuser, the adversary. And not only that, I'm gonna use Satan like a substitute teacher. He's gonna be the one that I use so that your faith can be strengthened. So that when you return to me, you may go and strengthen your brothers. You can testify and say, Satan you thought you had one, but the blood of Jesus speaks a better thing. Satan you thought but the blood of Jesus washes me clean. You thought you was gonna take my faith. But no, I served the one who gave me my faith and the word of God says he's the author and the finisher of my faith. So not only did he start my faith, he's gonna finish my faith in the name of Jesus. That's the king that we serve.
So I want everybody right now to take out the bread. And I want you to hold the bread up. We hold it up because this right here symbolizes Christ's body. His body being bruised, broken, beaten, Him being scorched, whipped. You know the scriptures actually says that there is nobody who ever walks the earth that was ever beaten to the degree that Christ was? I was ever scorched to the degree that Christ was. Did you know the scripture says that? We have to also think about it because when I heard that I was like man, but I read how some of the apostles, I think it was Andrew how he was tied to two horses going the opposite direction and he was ripped in half. That's how he died. If you look up the way that some of these apostles were murdered, it was gruesome, but think about this. The reason why nobody ever suffered the way Jesus Christ suffered was because he was completely sinless and he took on the sense of the world. That's worse than any physical scorcher you could ever go through. The sinless one became sin for us. So I want you to break the bread in half. As you hear this, that's the sound. I always say this, listen to it. That's like the sound of Christ's body
being broken in half for you. And it brought Him joy to do it. (gentle music) So where everybody, where every hand raised, lift it up, we're gonna lift it up for the king. And I would just want everybody just to close your eyes. Allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you. Bring images to your mind. Heavenly Father, right now we give you all the glory and we praise you. We love you so much. We thank you for sending your only begotten Son. Our Lord, our Savior, King Jesus, we honor you in this moment. Thank you for breaking your body. Thank you for going through what we could never go through. Thank you for restoring what we illegally took. Thank you for the holes in your hands. Thank you for the holes in your feet. Thank you, my God, that you gave us direct access because of the breaking of your body. We remember this and we take this as faith in the name of Jesus. And together you may all be of the body of Christ. (gentle music) (soft music) Hallelujah, now I want everybody to open up the cup. [MUSIC] This cup right here, it represents Jesus blood. His blood was poured out so your failures would not have to find a word.
[MUSIC] This blood right here, I want you to understand, as you look at it, it's this blood that washes you clean of all of your sins. Everything that you've ever did, everything that you've ever done. Even the sense that you will commit in the future. This blood speaks on your behalf, past, present, and future, and washes it all the way. [MUSIC] This blood right here gives you the ability to stand tall and to stand in confidence. What I like to say, God for this, because you don't have confidence in yourself. You have confidence in God and what he did. So you have confidence. You know your savior, you know what he did for you, you know where he restored you from. You know what he took you out of. You know your cleanse not because of your righteousness, but because of his righteousness. And now that allows you to serve him in purity. What does that mean? That means you're not performing for his love. You know that you're doing everything actually connected already and from his love. You don't have to earn his love. Before you ever did anything, the word of God says that he was slain before the foundation of the earth. He was jotted slain in his foreign knowledge. He knew that he would come and save you. That was before you ever even spoke a word. Before you even entered into the earth, he was slain before the foundation of the world. This right here gives you peace. It gives you reassurance that you are loved by the almighty creator. I want everybody to say I am loved by God, the one who sits on the throne and looks at me.
And he hears me and he sees me. The God of the universe pays attention to me. That's what the blood says. So I want everybody lifted up. Come on, come on. And everybody, I want you just to say thank you Jesus for your blood. We love you Jesus and we bless your holy name. You may now all take and drink of the blood of Jesus. Come on. Hallelujah, man, you better give him some praise like you saved. Come on. You better praise him like you redeemed. Man, you better give him some praise like you cleansed because you are cleansed. Lift up your voice right now and give. The King of Kings, some glory. Oh, we praise you Jesus. We lift up our voice Lord. Hallelujah, we say thank you. Thank you Jesus. We love you Jesus. You are worthy of our highest praise. We scream and we shout hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank you Jesus. Nah, I can fucking have everybody to stand and just join me right now and pray as we close out. Tonight was such a beautiful night, wasn't it? Man, that word was on time. I know a lot of people here, they're going to go home, they're going to seek the Lord. They're going to seek the Lord throughout the entire week. Consecrated time, consecrated time spent with the Lord.
And it was just an on time word of denying self. Amen. How many feel empowered? Yeah. Amen. So Heavenly Father right now, we just thank you for what you did tonight. I thank you for the gut punching, heart piercing word that you delivered. And I thank you right now Lord, that you opened up our eyes to see. Even the things that we couldn't see when we were so focused on ourselves, we were so focused on our problems, that we actually diminished your glory, your greatness. We minimized how big you are because we exalted our problems. We were exalting ourselves, but tonight Lord Jesus was not a repentance. And you heard each and every one of our cries. You heard us when we said we let go of ourselves. And I thank you right now that the fire of God backs us up in the name of Jesus. Let us see everything through your lens. just to learn how to love the world. Teach us, Lord Jesus, what we cannot see. Teach us, Lord, to trust in your ways. Teach us your truth. Teach us your path. Show us your ways. May we be faithful followers of you, Jesus. Faithful disciples, always learning, always growing, and always maturing in the faith. We bless your holy name, and we give you all the glory for all the souls that were saved, baptized, healed, and delivered. And we thank you, in Jesus' mighty name and together we all say, Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen family. God bless you guys and we'll see you guys back again next Sunday. You guys have a beautiful night.
