Living without offense is a path to freedom—not a punishment or denial of our feelings, but a bold, spiritual decision to rise above the “rage cage” of hurt, anger, and disappointment. Offense is a trap set by the enemy to keep us stuck in bitterness, rehearsing pain and forfeiting joy, but God calls us to live with wisdom, peace, and purpose. Managing anger with self-control, choosing to overlook offense, and practicing gratitude are spiritual disciplines that help us resist the enemy’s schemes and embrace the abundant life Christ offers. By looking ahead to God’s promises, looking up to His strength and presence, and looking around at the blessings still in our lives, we break free from the grip of offense and reclaim our joy, our relationships, and our future.
