When they were worshipping him, the Pharisees and basically your church people were like, why are all these people worshipping Jesus? And Jesus turned to them and he said, if they don't, the rocks will cry out. And this week I've been thinking, I'm like, God, like I've grown up in ministry, I've grown up in church, my parents were pastors. And I always felt like sometimes I was only noticed because I was a part of the family,
I was a part of ministry. Sometimes I can feel like I'm only noticed because I'm Adam's wife. Would people really be my friend if I wasn't his wife? And I fought that. And last night I literally was praying and I'm like, God, help me with these thoughts in my head. And he said, Would you worship me if I did nothing else? Because how you're feeling, I feel sometimes. When people only want to worship me when they're receiving from me. But the songs you've picked this week are talking about lifting me high. Would you lift me high if I did nothing else for you? Would you use every breath in your body that I have given you to worship me if I did absolutely nothing else for you? And so I wanted to share that because I want you guys to think, what if, would you worship God no matter your circumstances? Just because you love him, because that's all he wants. He wants our love. He wants us to choose him, even if he does nothing else. Just like we want people to choose us if we have nothing to offer them. We just want to be loved, right? He feels the same way.
That's why he gave us free will. He wants us to choose him over and over and over again. So I want us to tell him how great he is today because we love him, not because we desire anything else from him. What he did on the cross was more than enough. That he honestly doesn't owe us anything. Maybe he doesn't owe us a healing. He doesn't owe us financial help. He doesn't owe us a significant other. Because you know what? He fills in those gaps because he is great. He is great no matter our circumstance. And so today I just wanted to share that because my heart really loves Jesus because he loved me first. And so let's tell him how great he is without any expectation of him doing anything for us. You give life. You love. You bring light to the darkness. You give hope. You restore every heart that is broken. How great are You, Lord. It's Your breath in our lungs. So we pour out our praise. Pour out our praise.

Hey, before you catch a seat, would you just turn to one of your neighbors Give them a high five, a fist bump Say, hey, it is so good to see your beautiful face at church this morning Amen Man, what a wonderful opportunity to be in the house The season that we are in, it is one that is very cold The season that we are in, it is one that is very cold The birth of Christ and be able to give gifts Because the greatest gift ever was given And just what a wonderful opportunity I have mentioned this a couple of times in the last month But one of the things I want to mention this coming week is We do Kingdom Builders And Kingdom Builders is our opportunity to give above and beyond To different ways And so instead of having a missions fund, a building fund, an outreach fund A love the orphan fund, a toy shop fund A Fall Fest fund We have all these different funds Instead of having all of that, we put all of that into Kingdom Builders And that does missions, it does outreach, it does all of those other things And we get to kind of be able to designate those funds
funds and you know we every year we come to the end of it and we're thanking next year we're thanking god what can we do as we grow we're becoming bigger and we want to leave more impact and just leave a a legacy for people to be able to walk in and and be a part of and one of the we've started doing what we call a miracle offering at the end of the year and i would challenge you we're gonna do it next week next sunday and so i would challenge you maybe you've never even given before maybe you could say you know what i'm gonna give this one time and i'm gonna i'm gonna try it out you know what i guarantee you you'll never miss it you'll never and obedience and just saying god you know what i'm gonna trust you with this offering he he he blesses the rest of what we have but if we don't then it allows the enemy to come in and devour it that's why when we when we uh get paid and then by thursday we get paid on monday we get by thursday we thought somebody done hacked our account amen what the freaking heck where did all my money go like i swear i did and then you do the math and you're like dang i did that i did that i i i yep i did it but this coming sunday i'm gonna bring one my wife and i are gonna bring one and we're gonna say hey you know what this is gonna be above and above and beyond our tithe above and beyond what we give normally and we just want to just see what god can do through kingdom builders so that we can bless the community bless uh our connection in africa we want to be able to bless jamaica we want to be able to go to the dream center and have a wonderful opportunity there and we just want to be able to do all kinds of outreach and wonderful stuff and so god we thank you lord for everything that you're doing we believe that as we come prepared next week that you would bless everything that we bring to the table and i know that there will be some of us that come as the lady with the two mites as we throw our offering in we're gonna say god i don't think this is much but i love how you don't look at the amount you look at the heart and so god may our little bit be multiplied into much so that the kingdom of god can be impacted and we can be a part of the harvest that is to come and so god as we bring our offering this week and just regular giving and as we bring it next week in the miracle offering god may we see your kingdom impacted may we see the results of the seeds that we plant god harvested in this next season in this next year may we be able to look back at the end of 26 and say i got to sew into the lives that were impacted through kingdom builders god because of my giving so god bless us lead us let us seek you out this week and say god lay on my heart a number
give me a goal one that that would honor you lord so that i could bring my best to you because i don't want to bring my least i want to bring my best to you god because you deserve everything that i have in jesus name we pray amen hi i'm pastor jesse and i'm excited to announce that summer of 2026 we are taking a missions team to the dream center in la while we're there we're going to get the opportunity to partner with them by going to skid row and serving the homeless giving them food and essential supplies we'll also work in their food pantry and distribution center and multiple other opportunities to serve alongside them while we're there the dates for this trip is june 1st through 6 and we would love for you to sign up and come be a part of what reach kc gets to do while we partner with the dream center in la you know one of my favorite things about building mission teams and taking them out is not just that we get to go serve a community and share their gospel and be the hands and feet of jesus but it's seeing the growth in every single team member from start to finish so come be a part of what we're doing here come be a part of the missions and discipleship opportunity that we have if you want more information go ahead and scan the qr code Hey, I don't know about you, but I'm excited because we get to talk about Dream Center stuff. Hey, man, come on now. Like we've been talking. There's like three people. So we've got three people excited, Jess. So yeah, yeah, whatever it don't your your whoops don't even matter anymore. You know, I mean, no, I'm just kidding. I don't I don't know who did that. So don't get offended. But honestly, we would love we're going to the Los Angeles Dream Center. That's where this all began. Right. The Dream Center vision began in Los Angeles. And so we're going to be able to go and be a part of what they do there and see everything that happens.
And so I would encourage you to sign up. It's a local one. You don't even have to have a passport. Come on, man. Like what? What more do we want? You know, and so I'm excited for what is going to happen through that. And so we would love for you to sign up. Well, hey, I just want to welcome everybody home. Me Casa Yo Casa, I'm just so glad that you are here. And we just want to let you know that we are thankful for you. If this is your first time, maybe your first time in a long time, we would love to get connected with you. You can fill out a connect card out of the connect center right outside of the auditorium here as soon as services released. And we would love to get in touch with you and just hear your heart and get you connected to the church. We are in a sermon series that is titled letter to the church. And we've been going through the book of Romans and I titled my sermon today. It's in the works. Like it's all in the works. Like it's it's it's there. It's in the works. It's it's happening. There is something that is going to take place and it is all in the works. Last time I preached, I spoke a message that was titled living a spirit filled life. And we looked at how Paul compared the groaning of the people, the unbelievers and the believers alike to the groaning of the Holy Spirit and how the Holy Spirit groaning can intercede through us communicating with our advocate in heaven, Jesus, which is sitting at the right hand of the father, where he then goes on and pleads with the father for you and
I. And that to me is just a miracle in itself, because we don't have direct access ourself to the throne room of God. We have it through the Holy Spirit that communicates with Jesus. And so we do have access to it through our mediator and advocate. And yet is what happens is we often undervalue the fullness of the Holy Spirit in our lives because it intimidates us. We get a little leery about it. But when this is actually what allows us to communicate in alignment with the father in the heavenly realm, according to his will, because you see, the Bible talks about that if we pray according to his will, he will hear our prayers. I believe that that happens when we are doing this because he hears our prayers, because the spirit is communicating with our advocate who pleads with the father. And I wonder, I'm just curious if not by a show of hands, but I'm just curious if there's anybody here today that wishes that they had the spirit communicating with the advocate on their behalf right now, like it's speaking to the heavenly realms on your behalf right now. Maybe it's from the pain of this world, right? Maybe it's from people that have hurt you. Maybe it's from just wanting to give up simply because you have believed the lies of the enemy for far too long. Like the lies that tell you that you aren't good enough, you'll never measure up. You aren't pretty enough. You aren't good looking enough. You don't fit the mold. You could never be that. You aren't smart enough. Or maybe it's just the pain of people stabbing you in the back that poses Christians, but have deceit seated deep in their heart. Maybe it's the people that aren't even Christian people.
Maybe it's just people peopling, amen. Maybe it's just people straight up peopling, but whatever it is that has been weighing heavy on your spirit, I want to take a moment this morning and just encourage you through four critical truths to improve your perspective about your process. Four critical truths that improve your perspective about the process. And the first critical truth that I want to look at is this, it's all good now, baby. it's all good now baby I'm telling you Romans 8 28 says this and we know this is right after Paul says that the Holy Spirit will intercede through us and the groanings will communicate with the heavenly realm with the Father and then it goes on and it says and we know that God causes everything not some things but everything to work together for the good is this all good now baby of those who love God CC we like to stop we typically like to stop there we know that God causes everything to work together for the good well I know I know he does like it don't matter it's all it's all good now I'm good I'm at church I mean I see Thanksgiving I'm associating with people that are Christians it's all good now I mean the girl and I that are living together that are married I mean we read the Bible together it's all good now it's all good now and those but it says for those who love God and are called according to his purpose for then somehow throughout time I think that we have developed this mindset that everything should go as planned the problem with that mindset is that we think it should go according to our plan you see what I'm saying and as I think back literally through every scenario in my life I was trying to think of particular ones and it's literally every single one in my life where we have achieved any kind of progress we are currently wearing hidden scars from those battles we are we are wearing them whether it was in business or whether it was in ministry or just in life in general every great success was birthed through silent suffering and I say silent because it was great faith it takes great faith to literally walk through a battle that seems to defy the call of God on your life and yet never grumble or never groan because it said in the last passages that we read a couple of weeks ago that the groanings
of the believers and the unbelievers were because of the things that was happening in this world but the groanings of the Holy Spirit was actually ones that communicated with the heavenly realm and begin to petition with the advocate on our behalf and here's the truth that you won't find God's provision on a path that he never told you to take you just won't the authentic anointing actually requires boundaries in your life we often make the mistake of believing that we have to be accessible to everyone because we're Christian but not everybody is called to you and you're not called to everybody but but everyone here's what we have to realize is that oil actually flows through order you can't be out of alignment and think that the anointing is going to come into your life you can't be out of alignment and expect hear me every man or woman of God needs to have margin in their life you've got to have some areas where you can get back to Jesus had boundaries look at it he withdrew to pray he would go aside early in the morning to the side of the mountain he didn't enter certain cities he's like no we're not going there but all of them need Jesus we're not going there maybe some of us need to be able to find those boundaries and quit going into the places that we should not be permitted to go into because we've been entering into some houses that we should not be participating in we've been entering into some relationships that we should not be participating in we've been entering back into some old stomping grounds that we don't need to go there sometimes a prophet isn't honored in his own hometown that's what Jesus said he creates boundaries he didn't say yes to every single crowd and he moved at the father's pace not the people's pressure see that's the big difference hear me the enemy doesn't fear your hustle he fears your intimacy you can grind all you want I've heard people say well the devil don't take a day off well that's not who we're trying to emulate well I ain't got no stop in me the devil ain't got no stop then you can try to mimic him if you want to but you're gonna end up in a desperate place and I came to tell somebody today that the battle that you have been fighting is the battle that was meant to build you not break you that you've been
spending energy rebuking things that were designed to rebuild you you've been seeking comfort but He's building calling. Purpose is always best developed. I know you don't want to hear this, but purpose is always best developed through the platform of pain. Yet so often when things get tough, we vacillate. We get indecisive, we move. Well, God, I just need a sign. No, he gave you 16. He had heck of red flags. You just overlooked him because he was hot. But he fine. Yeah, he. Lord, I just need a sign, is he the one? No, here's your sign right now, no. Because somehow this world has painted this picture that things, if they aren't going your way, we must be doing something wrong. Like we gotta be out of alignment. But the scripture actually says that it will all work together for the good. He didn't say it was gonna feel good. He didn't say it was even gonna look good. He just said that it was gonna be good. And he said that it would all work together for the good. And that means like when it all finally comes together, when all the flames settle, after all hell done broke loose, after the fakeness, after the hurt, after the pain,
guess what? It's all good now, baby. They can look and it don't matter now because it's all good and I couldn't help but as I was preparing, reading through this passage in Romans eight, think about the story of Joseph. I mean, I'm talking a brother that had a vision when he was just a teenager, that he was gonna be in a great place of success and he shared the vision with his brothers. Come on, man, the people that you thought would be on your team, the one that you thought would advocate for you, his brothers betrayed him because they were jealous and almost literally murdered him and left him for dead and sold him into slavery. He landed in the palace, earned this reputable position in the palace only to be accused by the wife of Pharaoh to have actually raped him because she had tried to throw herself on him and he's like, no, he's gonna honor the king, he's gonna honor the leader that was above him even if he wasn't a righteous leader, he was still gonna honor him, he was still going to do it because he knew what God had called him to do. He stuck to the vision that he's seen and so in an attempt to protect her betrayal, she blames him which lands him in prison for 12 years
for something he didn't even do, literally and then an opportunity presents itself after 12 years in prison, after deep seated betrayal. Come on, man, a lot of us have been in prison. Imagine going to prison for something you didn't do on some faulty stances, thinking that your brothers just sold you out, tried to kill you and you ain't got nothing but 12 years to stew on it. Bro, you gonna think of every opportunity to dispose of the bodies, where I'm gonna put them, I could soak them in lime, I could put them here, I could do all that and I mean, we've literally got all different kinds, I could put them in a pig farm, maybe the pigs would eat them, come on. I mean, we could think of something, I've never done this kind of stuff before. Wow, I'm really showing. I was like, wow, he's really plotted out a homicide before. No, I didn't, okay. But as what's crazy is after this 12 years, he gets presented this opportunity to interpret Pharaoh's dream and he is actually offered freedom. But as what fascinates me though is, it isn't that he is released, but that he sharpened his calling while he was stuck in his chamber the entire time. The entire time, he didn't allow the tragedy
of his circumstances to dictate the depth of his calling, he didn't, he used that time that he was suffering to sharpen what was meant to develop him. So that when he got to the season, that he was supposed to, so that when the opportunity to present itself, when it presented itself, he was ready, he was prepared. But here's the sad reality is that so many of us today are so dissatisfied with our current circumstances that we get stuck in our sorrow and never sharpen our sword. Because we don't wanna sharpen it, we wanna stab somebody with a dull sword. We wanna try to take them out because we're blinded by pain when we need to be built by it and Joseph comes face to face with his brothers after that betrayed him 22 years later. 22 years after this deep-seated betrayal imagine that 22 well I just need closure no you don't you need to forgive and you need to allow the Lord to do something in your heart because when you come face to face with them people 22 years later is it gonna sound like this in Genesis 50 you intended to harm me but God intended it all for good it's all good now baby you you had me mad and upset before when I was laying in the pit covered in animal blood I was upset then but but I'm not upset now because I understand that he brought me to this position so that I could save many lives see you thought you got one off on me see you thought you had something in it you thought that you was beating me down but what you intended for evil God actually used it for good he brought me to this position see you thought you did something bad to me see you thought you betrayed me you thought you walking out on my life was going to destroy everything that God had you thought that if you stabbed me in the back that this was what you thought that if you cheated on me you thought that if you lied on me
that it was going to destroy me but I understood the assignment I understood that it wasn't you that was doing it to me see we get so caught up in stuff that people do to us when what was done to us will work together for good if we just allow the ingredients to do what the ingredients is supposed to do and we've allowed it to work together everything is good even if it's evil for those who love God and are called according to his purpose well well how do we know that we're called according to his purpose oftentimes is what happens is we try to gauge this by resistance but that can oftentimes lead to a false diagnosis because we will often assume that if if God is not for us or will often assume that God is not for us because someone is against us man I thought I was doing everything right but man they just keep coming against me and they keep just doing this and man it's like I can't ever do anything right and we will judge our relationship with God off the temperature of our relationships with others and it's just not fair and if people are coming against us we will often assume that that God is not in something or if there is extreme pressure in our lives we will often pull back and and thinking God must not be in something but what if what seems evil was actually meant for good what if he puts you in that position well that's not that's not fair well being called according to his purpose doesn't mean that things won't get tough it means that nothing can snatch you out of the father's hand unless you let it that's why I want to look at the second critical truth that can shape your perspective the first one is it's all good now like it doesn't matter if it doesn't look good it is good and I understand that it is and the second one is is your calling ain't for you your calling is not for you Romans 8 28 or 29 through 30 says this for God knew his people in advance and he chose them to become like his son so that his son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters and having chosen them he called them to come to him your calling is to come to him that's what your calling is you have no greater calling in life than to sit in the father's presence everything else is just busy work sometimes you've got a calling a commissioning and having called
them he gave them right standing with himself and having given them right standing he gave them glory your calling ain't for you it's for him it's literally for him but somehow throughout time we have developed this mindset that it's all about us and if there is any resistance at all that we must be outside of God's will well this just isn't it doesn't seem or we often will think that the enemy is attacking us or there's misalignment because things aren't going according to our plan and it doesn't look good and but from the beginning the plan was that you would come to him because if you are in God's presence anything that does not honor him will not stay there because if you can get into God's presence and literally sit there everything else can flee I don't know I think that's why a lot of us like church Sundays because we can come and feel the Lord's presence at church because of what we do in order to inhabit his praise here and just allow something his presence to be here but then we go out and we don't foster an environment in our own home to allow the Holy Spirit to come in before you had a calling that could be manipulated into mastery you had a calling to come to him see so often i think that we can take a calling and we're good at it right we take this gifting that we're good at and then we we use it to glorify us because we want people to applaud us we want people to praise us we want people to do all of this stuff for us and through that calling he gave us not not not an opportunity to just be all about us but to be in right standing with him that's what the calling is all about so that we can be in right standing with him and having giving us right standing he gave us glory many of us sadly wouldn't even be able to identify this glory because we're grappling with groaning we're wrestling with complaining we're stuck in a place did you know that the israelites actually never got to walk into the that they were promised they would be able to walk into because they complained it actually stopped and blocked the thing that god well if it's got if it's if it's predestined for me i'm going to get it no matter what no you won't you can keep thinking that you will but but you have to walk in because if it's up to us oftentimes we will throw away something in our life simply because it doesn't look good but the calling isn't here to serve you it's here to serve him that's it to stand in the glory that he gave you romans 8 31 says well what shall we do about such wonderful things as these to be able to have a calling on our life that is for here for him to
be in right standing with him to be standing in his glory to be able to receive these heavenly things yeah but it doesn't feel wonderful everything that i'm going through doesn't feel wonderful yeah but you didn't finish the verse yet because see we often will look at what will things don't seem wonderful yeah but in it he also says that if god is for us then who can be against us which is my third critical truth to the to change your perspective about the process is he is for you right see your calling ain't for you your calling is for him but he is for you and if you had nothing else in life if you never got a microphone if you never had an opportunity to teach if you never had a good relationship my wife was just talking about this if you never had any of that stuff would you still praise him would you still lift your hands and say god i don't need to have that because i just need to be in in your presence and i just need to be at a place where i can just honor you and i can just praise you and sometimes i wonder if those things that we've been begging for haven't came because we're not content without them and we've got to get to a place i think where we are content without them so that we can be happy with them when god just gives us his presence why because he is for us romans 8 31 through 34 says since he did not spare even his own son but gave him up for us all won't he also give us everything else who dares who dare accuses us whom god has chosen for his own no one for god himself has given us standing with himself ain't nobody got a word over you who then will condemn us no one for christ jesus died for us and raised to life for us and he is sitting in the place of honor at the right hand what pleading for us it's this when you're reading through it it's this triumphal tone that paul nobody has the authority to condemn you nobody has the authority to hold that against you nobody has the authority to lay a charge against somebody that has been chosen by god himself one that laid down his life for them he laid down his life for you so that you could be chosen for him there is no ground for bringing charges against you none none neither man nor satan can resurrect a believer's past although he'll try he will try won't he but but neither men nor satan have it no forgiven sin can be held against the forgiven God justified it it's gone the Bible says that when you confess your sin keynote confess when you confess your sin to one another it brings healing when you confess your sin to him he will toss it into the sea as far as it is from the east to the west no forgiven sin can be
held against the forgiven Satan the accuser of the brethren though may try to harass you he may try to be in your ear but that which God has forgiven he will also remember against us no more that's why in verse 34 he said who then will condemn us no one nobody nobody that's why you can't allow somebody to just speak over your life for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us he said nobody can condemn you yeah that's not their position it's not able to actually happen and he is sitting in the place of honor at God's right hand pleading for us pleading I don't know if you've ever pleaded pled and just really just like God I'm just I mean you know I just need this there is no ground absolutely no ground for condemnation the Christ who died for us is at the right hand of the Father interceding for us literally there's four great truths really quick that are in this that are our assurance and protection and number one is that Christ died for us he is our propitiation that's just what it is he laid down his life he was given number two he has risen again for our justification he died for us he was raised for our justification and number three is he is at the right hand of God he is literally our representative is what this says he is pleading on behalf and number four is he is making intercession for us he is our advocate pleading our case with God so what's that mean it means that when the devil is speaking condemnation in your ear whispering lies into your mind that you'll never be good enough you will never measure up you are the weakest link in the kingdom of God you might as well just give up you might as well get over it because you aren't even who you really say you are and you aren't even really saved did did God even really tell you to serve that church did God even really tell you that you needed to tithe does the Bible even say that I mean look at your circumstances God ain't in this you can tell that he isn't in your situation and then when the father of lies the accuser of the brethren is lying in your ear you want to know what that means it means that the advocate in heaven your propitiation for your sins he is sitting at the right hand of the father pleading on your behalf and I can't help but picture this this picture where you
have Satan over here in your ear and he's like are you really going to are you really gonna keep going to that church like you don't even fit in there you go in there and you just you see the clicks you see what it is and you know that that you I mean nobody even reaches out to you and while the devil is lying in your ear Jesus is up there like father would you please just block the lies that is happening in their mind right now father would you please just give them the strength to understand what it is God I just father please protect them but you know that's a lie there is no way that that is true you are not called look at everything everything that you have touched is failure you've never even been able to complete anything and and and you thought that you could do this but when you do it your voice cracks you don't even have the opportunity and God please just give them a voice for you Lord let them be heard let them understand that they have the authority of heaven when they're speaking on behalf of the Father Lord please and I just see Jesus just up there on his knees just blood still running out of his hands and he's like God you see what I did for him would you please just let him see their worth and then the devil's over here just like it you aren't really gonna believe that are you like why do you even go to church seriously you've tried this you still struggle you've been still addicted to pornography just give it up and just live in the lust of your flesh all church does is make you feel guilty for doing what you shouldn't be doing like just just just give it father let them be pure God wash them and let them understand their worth and you so that they can actually get to a place and then with with another masterful stroke of the hammer Paul drives this theory in with no separation no separation now if you look in theological positional stances you can see this in a whole lot of different ways but I believe is what it means is that no one can drive a wedge and create distance between God's love and us but us no one the only power that somebody has is what you permit them the devil is only as strong as you allow him he only has enough did you know that he's already defeated we are walking in victory and we don't even
know it because we get so beat up by the lies of the enemy and we get so overtaken but it says that no one else no one and the enemy will try and do whatever he can to distract us from our God-given purpose but remember if it's for those who love God and are calling to his purpose when you find your purpose why would the enemy not want to take you out why would he not want to end you because then you can understand that every lie that is happening when he is convinced people to turn against you when he is convinced other people to do what they've done and all of your circumstances look like hell right now if you understand your purpose you can be like Joseph in the prison and say I'm not gonna get bitter I'm not gonna get resentful I'm gonna walk in who God called me to be I'm gonna honor authority no matter who it is even if I don't like them I'm gonna walk in the place that God has called me to walk in because I want what God has for me and nobody that's why nobody oh sorry nobody baby but sorry not sorry but is what happens is why the enemy wants to take out your purpose in your life is because all of the sudden your kingdom impact is amplified when you understand it when you understand who you are in Christ and you grasp that identity and no lie in hell could ever distract you no lie from the enemy could ever set you back no lie from some person that is being utilized by a serpent could ever try to come against you and knock you off of your queue nobody nobody you're not fighting this battle alone well how do you know that because if God before you who can be against you it doesn't matter who comes against you the Bible says that God will actually make a table before your enemies you want to know what that means it means that every single person that has tried to come against you will have to sit and watch you eat that ain't nobody baby that ain't got a chance because I've got before you who be against you he's literally the king of the universe the one that called you according to his purpose which was to be in right standing which is to walk in the image of who he is and any value that you place on yourself that is less than that that God deemed you to have when you was formed in your mother's womb he created you and when he looked at you he said
that's perfect that's perfect and I personally believe that anything that you believe of the enemy that is not or that is less than perfect is like blasphemy because if you were made in the image of God and yet you continue to tear yourself down you are in essence tearing God down and when you speak lies over yourself and you believe the lies of the enemy over your life you are saying God you're not good enough you didn't know what you was doing when you me I don't even like the creation that you made and in essence I don't want to serve you so I'm tired of being the person that you created me to be and you like you knew what you was doing but you really didn't. Because I don't like who I am, I don't like how I sound, I don't like who I am and then all of the sudden we begin to lose the purpose and calling that God has placed on our life and that is to stand in right standing with himself. Did you know that when he was created he was created in perfect harmony with the father and mankind interrupted it with free will and sin came in and then all of the sudden the serpent was allowed to speak lies into our mind and then we started believing them and then he seen that it was broken and he washed the earth and then he seen that it was still broken so he sent Jesus so that we could have access to the Holy Spirit that could speak to the heavens on our behalf so that we could actually let heaven hear our prayers. Nobody baby Thank you. Tell my wife that. I'll just be up there during worship. Nobody baby. That's all I'm gonna say. Just move like this. I remember, sorry, I'm staying in my lane. I am in my lane. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus. You ain't got no voice. No, I'm just kidding. I remember
one time, this was a long time ago, I remember walking into our restroom and my wife is usually getting ready for like 48 minutes and so one of those times I walked in to the bathroom and I remember just trying, she was trying to perfect herself. She was trying to get it down and when I looked in I was like man she is beautiful. She's trying to do stuff to make herself look better and I thought baby you nailed it. Like what do you need and I begin to hear her start speaking negative things over herself right in the presence of me and I'm just trying to keep it a buck. I slid up on her and I was like hey. I'm like you ain't never gonna talk about my wife like that. I'm like you keep talking about my wife in ways that I would not let anybody else in this world talk about her. You talk about my wife like that and I don't know what I'm gonna do but I'm gonna phone a friend. But here's the truth is that God has created us for so much more than we have settled for and we think because of the things that we have been through that somehow our past disqualifies us which isn't true. Sometimes I wonder if it's actually what qualifies us because anywhere you look in the bible any person that I have seen do anything great has been through hell. I think sometimes it's what qualifies us. God says hey you know what there's there's somebody I could use right there because they've been through hell and nobody would even think that they would be able to do it. And he said you know what I'm gonna use the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. Well I couldn't do it. I know but I can and that's why I want to use you because I want I want people to see
my glory. I want people to see what I have and that's why the final critical truth is this is the only thing is you. The only thing is you. Romans 8 35 says can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean that he no longer loves us if we have trouble, if we have calamity, if we're persecuted, if we're hungry, if we're destitute, if we're in danger, or if somebody actually threatens to take our life. He said, no, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate me from God's love. Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor demons. Come on, somebody. This ain't just worldly things. These are things in principalities and heavenly realms that we don't even have control over. Neither our fears, nor today, nor tomorrow's worries, not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below. Indeed, nothing in all creation, nothing, nobody will ever be able to separate us from God's love that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. What if, what if today you caught the vision for your life? What if you caught it, one where it doesn't even matter what happens to you because you're not going to gauge God's love by your present pain. But rather saying, hey, there is nothing that I am going to let come in between my relationship with God because I know that he is for me and everything that I am going through right now is gonna be for good. And so the devil better watch out. He better watch out because when I get through this battle, what I'm supposed to get through it, I'm gonna walk with a different cadence. I'm gonna fight with a different stance. I'm gonna do what the Lord has called me to do because I know that nothing can separate me from God's love but me. You know, the only thing that has ever gotten in the way from who God has called me to be is me. My King, God may we just sit humbly at your feet today so that you can have your way because nothing in this world or outside of this world could ever separate me from you but me God. So if I could have everybody in the room stand with me for just a moment.
