I'm going to give you one more chance to shout hallelujah, praising your Lord. Come on, hallelujah. You may be seated. Thank you all for being here this morning. Welcome to Rio Revolution Church. And if it's your first time, welcome. You have joined an amazing family. We do have these connect cards in the back of our chairs. If it's your first time or maybe you've been here for months and you've never filled this out, we'd love for you to fill it out
because we want to get to know you. You're not here by happenstance. You're here because God ordained it today. Amen. And when you fill this out, just drop it off. You can either drop it off in the buckets or take it to the little thing that we have set up in the foyer there. You can take it there. We have a gift for you and we want to get to know you as well. There's also prayer requests on these cards here as well. If you have prayer requests, we want to be praying for you throughout the whole week. Fill that out. Drop it in the bucket. And then today, if you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, congratulations, first of all. Congratulations because you have made the best choice you could ever make in your life. Amen. But if you do that, mark it on this card and take it to the booth in the foyer. We have a Bible for you. We have people that we want to connect with you to help you along this journey that you are just now beginning. Amen. Also, I want to say thank you for being patient during this construction. Y'all have been amazing.
I know it's getting cold now, so make sure you just bundle up. Sorry, parents. I know we're checking outside right now, but hey, it's going to be worth it, isn't it? Just make ourselves a little uncomfortable so we get a little more comfort in the future. Amen. But thank you for being patient through all this. It's been amazing. Trust me, us staff during the week, we're having to make a lot of sacrifices ourselves. We can't come in the normal ways that we normally come in, so we're all having to make sacrifices. Also, we do have our Christmas services next weekend. We'd love to have you here on Sunday. They're the normal times. Candlelight service, beautiful music. The kids are going to be singing, so make sure you come out and let's just worship Christ, our Savior, the Lord who has come. Amen. So make sure you're here at the normal times, like I said. As we move into offering, I wanted to share this. I actually gave this scripture
in offering to teach our kids when I was doing children's ministry as the children's pastor. Every Sunday, we would go over this scripture, and the scripture was 2 Corinthians 9.6, and it talks about this. He who plants a little will harvest a little. He who plants a lot will harvest a lot. And I would teach them that what matters is what we're giving. If I give of my whole self, my whole being, I will receive more than I could ever imagine from God. If I give, if I just give a little, because it's biblical, right? It says, what you reap is what you sow. And I want to reap as much as possible from God. I want to receive as much as possible from God, and so as we go into this final message about legacy, I want you to think how much has God given?
put on your heart to give to Him because legacy is about after us. We're not going to get to see the seeds that we plant. We're going to be long and gone. We want God's kingdom to last forever as long as possible here in Blount County, amen? And so let's plant a legacy and give according to what God has laid on your heart, not reluctantly or in fear or feeling like you're ashamed to, but because you want to leave something for others that God will be able to use, amen? Let's pray. Father God, I thank you so much for today and your blessings. I thank you for your son Jesus Christ as he gave his life on that cross and he died for our sins that we're able to be alive today. He gave everything of himself and as we're talking about legacy, allow us to give everything of ourselves to your kingdom because it's not about what happens here on this earth, it's about what happens in your eternal kingdom, Father. And that's what we concern ourselves with in this sermon series is we want to be a part of your eternal kingdom that will last forever. I pray that you use Pastor Pacer this morning, speak through him, challenge us to give as much as you want us to give, oh Father. I pray also that you build us up, God, and I cannot wait to see what you do in 2026 and the whole church says amen. Welcome to Revolution Church. We're so glad you're here with us today. Whether you're here in person or watching online, we want to connect with you. If you're visiting for the first time, we invite you to grab the connect card from the seat in front of you. After the service, drop it off in the connect hub so we can meet you and welcome you properly. For our online guests, say hi in the comments. Our team would love to connect with you too.

It's good to see you in the house of the Lord. Amen. I don't know about you, but when I show up, I come expecting God to do something. Can I hear an amen? I know you do as well, and we're so thankful for each one of you. Help me welcome the 640 Correctional Facilities that's joined us today. 35 states. God bless all of you. We're so thankful for you, all of our first-time guests. Thank you for being with us. We're excited about what God is doing around here, and we're so thankful for each one of you. Today is week two of a sermon series that we've titled Legacy. It's Legacy Sunday, and next week I'll go ahead and
continue promoting the candlelight service, as Pastor Mark Will did, but make sure you bring someone with you. We're expecting God to move in these services, people to be born again, to be saved, and we're excited. It's going to be the normal service times, but it's awesome. The team has been working so hard to put this together, so make sure that you are here. Now, last weekend, week one of this series, we talked about investing in things that last, and we used the passage that Jesus referred to when he said to lay up treasures in heaven where moth and rust cannot destroy, and we looked at that. We talked about it. What does that look like? We talked about investing in people, investing in kingdom work, things such as that. Also, I spoke on the principle of tithing and how tithing actually predated the law. Some people have shared that, hey, we don't need to tithe now because we're not under the law. But actually, the principle of tithing came before the law. And it was in Genesis chapter 14, and then again we've seen it in Genesis 28. Abraham was the first, and then we see Jacob tithing. So anyway, there's a principle associated with tithing, which is God will open the windows of heaven and rebuke the devourer for a tither's sake. I don't know about you, but I like those provisions. Can I hear an amen if you do? Amen. And so we appreciate all of you that give and all of you that are tithing. And last weekend in the Legacy Giving, you guys just showed up, and we're so thankful for each one of your guys' gifts. Today we're titling the message, A Legacy of Vision. A Legacy of Vision. You see, receiving and casting vision are two essential elements that I believe every successful organization needs, whether it's ministry, a family, a business.
We need to, I think, receive the vision and then cast the vision, but I want you to remember this. Early this morning, I was in prayer, and I felt like the Lord gave me these words. We receive vision through prayer, but we cast vision by faith. Amen? I want to say that again. We receive vision through prayer, but we cast it by faith. Has God ever gave you a vision that was so big, maybe for your family or for your business or for your church or whatever, it was so big you were reluctant to say it or speak it? It's like it was so massive. It's like, if I say that, they're going to think I'm crazy. Well, guess what? Most people think we're crazy anyway, so just go ahead and say it, amen, if God gives it to you. But we receive vision through prayer. When we spend time with the Lord, not only praying, but being quiet and listening to Him, I believe He will download vision into our heart, and then by faith, we'll speak that to those people that are closest to us. So in saying that, in 2021, just a little over four years ago, God gave me a vision for our church, and He spoke to me, and He said, and it was for the next six years. So what we did was we gathered with our media team. We traveled up on the Foothills Parkway. Actually, I think some people call it the missing link. It's the one that took about 40 years to build, but we finally got it, and it is beautiful. You guys, if you've not been on top of that parkway, it's awesome. So what we did, the media team and I, we went up on the parkway, and we did a video of what I felt like the Lord was telling me to share to you. And so what I want to do right now is just show you a clip of that video. January 7th, 2007, God allowed Revolution Church to be birthed.
Humble beginnings. So thankful for just the opportunity to do the ministry that God's called us to do. You know, the Spirit's been speaking to me lately and giving me vision for what I believe is going to happen over the next six years, and I want to share it with you. First, we will increase sharing the gospel. You know, together, we're going to expand our weekly services to reach 10,000 people through live and in-person services at our campuses. That being our broadcast, our 411, also including our streaming online, our social media platforms, even our correctional facilities. The second thing that the Lord's calling us to in regards to discipleship is we will be curriculum along with having an annual discipleship forum. You know, we understand that Jesus has called us to reach the nations, and that's our goal. And then thirdly, as for our outreach, the goal is to invest $1 million every year into the needs of our community, the people that live in these valleys, the people surrounding us. You guys know that we're blessed with beautiful facilities, but the Spirit's saying that it's time to expand. We need more physical space for what's to come, which is very exciting. We need everyone working together in unity, because we are called for such a time as this. God bless you. My granddaughters despise the beard. They say, Poppy, you look old. We don't like it. Get rid of it. Connie don't like it. So anyway, occasionally I'll grow it out a little bit. But anyway, that was 2021, and I felt like that the Lord gave me that and wanted me to share with you. Now, here's a couple... things that I didn't know. I had no clue. We were in, at the time, we were probably in about 20 correctional facilities, okay? And we were ministering, I'm gonna guess,
to approximately 1,500 to 2,000 people per weekend here from Revolution Campus. And so, what I didn't realize is today, to the glory of God, we are reaching over 10,000 people every weekend. Amen? Praise the Lord for that. Come on. To God be the glory. And the platform really that really expanded was the prison ministry. We had no clue we would go from 37 to 640 overnight. We had no clue, but God knew, amen? And so, what happens many times when we call those things that's not by faith, God will honor it, and He will come through and He'll just perform those things, and we see that. Another thing that, you know, in 2021, we were going through discipleship. We had different classes. As a matter of fact, for seven years, I used this book right here by Dr. Greg Ogden called Discipleship Essentials. We used it for a long time to train and mentor our people in our church. And then, after that, I started using this book. It's Rose Guide to Discipleship. Anybody use that book? A few of you have. And I used it for several years. But I will say this is, of these two books, there was an element that I felt like that God was speaking to me saying, you need to go deeper. You're going to need to write your own curriculum for our church. We need to go deeper in the area of the Holy Spirit, being led by the Spirit, hearing the Spirit, being baptized with the Holy Spirit, and fire. And so, really, it was because of that, and it was because the vision that God gave that we now have our own curriculum. Again, in 2021, we didn't know these things were going to happen. But how many of you know that God knew? Look over to your neighbor and say, God knew. God knew. And so, the vision for outreach, again, by the grace of God, that vision, that amount, we have exceeded it. Praise the Lord for that. Amen? Outreach in our community, in this neighborhood, in these subdivisions. And so thankful for that. And then, the building project that we knew we needed in 2021. How many of you guys realize we are in the middle of that right now? You know? And we're in the sharing some vision throughout the service. And I'm going to say how thankful and how grateful I am to the Lord, because He always exceeds our expectations. He always gives us those Ephesians 320 moments. And to Him who's able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the power that's in us. That's the faith level. That's the Spirit inside of us. So, in saying all that, 2025 has been an absolute incredible year for ministry. Revolution Church, God has opened up opportunities. He's opened up doors. And He's continuing to do that. So, what I want you to do for the next couple minutes is watch this recap
video that shows 2025 in action. ♫ Upbeat Music ♫ Come on, praise the lord, let's go! Come on, let's go! What are you waiting on? Let's go! I believe God has more for us. Can I hear an amen if you believe that? Hey, I get excited just coming to church, it don't take a whole lot to get me excited, but I got goosebumps, I think popping up all over me right now. It's holy spirit, and the reason is not for what's happened, but what's to come. I feel like God has just set the stage. There has been a lot of seeds planted in 2025. Amen. A lot of seeds planted. Well, the harvest comes as a result of the seeds planted. So there's an absolute incredible harvest coming to this community, to this church, to your life. Amen? You receive that? Look over at your neighbor and say, get ready for the harvest. Come on, get ready for the harvest. Let's go. Hey, listen, over 950 salvations. That's phenomenal. Hey, listen, one is incredible, two's amazing, 950 just blows my mind. Over 950 salvations. And then we look at the 182 baptized and what, all of that's incredible. But this is what happens, when people grasp the vision and run with it. It's when people say, you know what, I hear the vision.
You know, we spoke that in 2021, and you guys, you didn't just listen, but you grabbed it and you ran with it, and the Lord's allowed that vision to come to pass. And not six years, but only just a little over four years. I want you to look at Proverbs 29, 18. Take a look at this verse. It says, without prophetic vision, people run wild. But he goes on, he said, but blessed are those who follow God's teaching. He's telling us right here that without the vision, the people just are in chaos. But when there's the vision, the people have direction, they have purpose. And so, something I found interesting here is this word for vision in the Hebrew is hazon. Say hazon. Hazon, and here's what hazon, the definition for hazon is divine communication. Okay? It's not just, I have a feeling, or here's what I see for our family, here's what I see for our business, or here's what I see for our, you know, whatever, church. But it's divine communication, and it's prophetic vision. And so, a prophetic vision is a vision inspired by God. And I believe that God wants to give every single one of you, listen closely, I believe God wants to give every single one of us prophetic vision. For our own personal life, for our families, for our businesses, listen to me, for our church, for our community. I believe God wants to speak and give inspired vision for that. Listen to what the Lord said in Habakkuk 2. He said, then the Lord answered me and said, he said this, he said, write the vision, make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. I want to say that again. The Lord said to me, he said, write the vision, make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. Now, here's what I'm going to say. When God gives you an inspired vision, a prophetic vision, you need to write it down.
Because the enemy will do his best to steal that. Have you ever had, has God ever spoke to you, like in the middle of the night, and wake you up, and give you something, and it was like, wow, that's amazing. You fell back asleep, you woke up in the morning, you forgot it. It's like, what did he say? I know it was good, but I can't remember it. So what do we do? Help me, what do we do when God gives you a. A word? You write it down. You write it down so the enemy can't come in and steal it. You write it down and you remember it. So when it comes to the vision here at Revolution Church, we don't want anyone guessing. We don't want our community guessing. We don't want the inmates guessing. We want everybody to know what the vision at Revolution Church is and it's really pretty simple. It's fundamental. It's pretty practical. It's these three things. Number one is to preach the gospel. First and foremost, my goal every single weekend when I come in here, I'm asking myself, did I preach the gospel in that sermon? Because the Bible says the power of God is in the gospel. It's not in intellect. It's not in being a great communicator. It's not in a skill set. It's not connecting with people. The power of God is simply in the gospel of Jesus Christ. And so that's why that's number one, is preaching the gospel.
And we do that. You obviously know we have many different platforms that we're able to do that. The second thing here at Revolution Church that's extremely important is making disciples. The reason that that's a mission of our church is because it was the heartbeat of Jesus. Are you guys with me? It's the heartbeat of Jesus. Before he ascended into heaven, he's in Galilee, he's with 11 disciples, and he gives them these words. He said, now I want you to go out and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. So we know discipleship is important. That's why at this church, we put such a strong emphasis on discipleship. It's not just enough to come in, raise your hand, say, I accept Jesus, and then walk out or us high-fiving and say, we'll see you in heaven. It's not enough. What are we going to do? We're going to walk with you. We're going to mentor you. We're going to do that. That's what God has called us to do. And God's bringing people in. Do you realize that? They're coming every weekend. There's visitors showing up in our services. And God's bringing them in. He's drawing them in. As a matter of fact, listen to this. I heard this story last night at our deacon's Christmas party. I'm sitting at the table, and one of our pastors here at the church, he shared with me that he had met this fella that's been coming to our church.
He's not saved yet. He's not accepted Christ yet, but he's coming. Amen? And how many of you know that's a good thing? The Lord's drawing him in. So he's coming, and so the pastor of our church started talking with him, and he gave him a Bible and gave him some more information, but then the God moment happened. Don't you just love it when we have those God moments? The God moment happened, and here's how it happened. This guy had spent most of his life being incarcerated. Listen to me, guys. All of you that are incarcerated, most of his life he had been behind bars. He'd been incarcerated. He was released from California. He ends up in this little podunk town called Merrillville, Tennessee, okay? And he shows up at this church that's got a name that sounds like a Spanish river, Rio, and he shows up. He comes to the door. Now, listen. When he's walking through the door, the greeter at the door was a guard in prison in California. She is a greeter in our church. She is a greeter in our church, and there's the connection. Do the math. Do the math. Do the statistical studies of over 200 million, and tell me what the chances are that a guy that had spent the majority of his life in prison shows up at this church in Merrillville, Tennessee, and the front door greeter was someone that he had a relationship with when he was in prison? See, this is not coincidence. What are you telling me?
I'm telling you that God gave us a vision, and God told me a long time ago in San Francisco, California. He spoke to me, and he said, this church will be a hub to the nations and to the world. Do you know what a hub is? A hub is a place where people come from different directions. You can't make that up. You can't make that up. If I did make it up, you wouldn't believe it. What are you telling me? I'm telling you that God is moving. He's bringing people in, but we're not only going to preach the gospel to these inmates and to the people that show up, the people that come to Christ. We are going to walk it out with them. Can I hear an amen if you're willing to do that? We're going to walk it out. We're going to disciple. We're going to mentor. We're going to train. We're going to teach. This is what God's called us to do. The third thing, the third vision here at this church that God has given us is the third part of the vision is to serve our community. We serve our community in a lot of different ways. We know it's the heartbeat of the Lord. It's the heartbeat of God to serve the community. As we continue to pursue. to this inspired vision. God is bringing us to a point, He's building legacy. He's building something that's bigger than us, amen? Something that will go way beyond what we can do.
And I'm convinced this, and again, a word the Lord gave me this morning, He said this, He said, when God gives vision, He will provide the provision. When God gives vision, He's going to provide the provision, amen? How many of you believe that? If it's God, if it's from God, if it's inspired by God, if God has communicated to me, and I'm sharing with you, and it's from the Lord, then listen to me, I'm not worried about it I remember when we were spending $12,500 a month to be in 37 different prisons, and somebody came to me and said, we're going to be in 60, and I started doing the math. And it's like, okay, we need a new building, okay, and I know what it costs to be where we're at, but they said, the Lord said, no, we're going to be in over 60, and then God did something way bigger than that. He put us in 640. Come on, that's how only God could do that. He's opened up the door. Why did the Lord do it? Because God inspired the vision. He told me, you're going to be ministering to over 10,000 people. I had no clue that the majority of it would be behind bars, but I am so thankful they grabbed their device, they watched the services, they accept Jesus, and they're living for it. I love that, because you know what? We are doing what Jesus said to do. He said, when I was in prison, you visited me. When I was hungry, you fed me. When I was thirsty, you gave me something. Come on, somebody. This is what we're called to do. This is legacy. This is what makes a difference. This is what will continue on beyond you and I.
I remember at Helping Hands a few years ago, we were at the high school, and I would share the gospel with everybody in groups of maybe 30 or 40 or 50 people. I'd share the gospel, and then they would come in and get their shoes. I remember one day, I just shared the gospel with a group, and they were going over into the gymnasium to pick up their shoes, and there was an older gentleman, he's somewhere maybe in his 70s. He's got several little kids following him, and they're walking away from me. I'm getting ready for the next group to come in so I can tell them why we're doing what we do. And the man turned around. That gentleman turned around, and he looked at me in the eye. I'll never forget this. I'll never forget it. He looked me in the eyes, and he just humbly said, thank you. Thank you. Then he said, these kids wouldn't get shoes if it wasn't for this event. Their mother's in prison. She's incarcerated. This has been years ago. I knew right then that I will always be a voice for those that don't have a voice. I will always stand. Hey, listen, it's not to promote Revolution Church. It's not to promote me. I could care less if you don't know me. I'd rather you don't know me, and you don't have my number, and you don't call me or text me. Come on. It's okay. I don't need that. Here's what I am saying.
It's all about him being exalted, him being elevated. It's about lifting him up. He said, if I be lifted up, I'll draw all men to me. You can't build buildings big enough. You can't have enough services. Why? Because he's being exalted. It's not about a man. It's not about a church. It's not about a denomination. It's about building the kingdom of God, and that's what we're called to do. Listen to me. I'm going to do it with everything that's in me until I take my last breath. Come on. Let's go. Let's go. Age is just a number. Somebody said, you're getting old. Age is just a number. You're only as old as you feel. Come on. Start hanging out with the young people. Start hanging out with Pastor Grant and his people. You start feeling younger. You'll get some pep in your step. Tom, get you a pickleball paddle and get out there on the courts. That'll make you young, won't it? Come on. Lord, God. Man, I am chasing rabbits now, but we're going to get back on track.
So when God gives vision, he will provide the provision. I want to share now the vision that I feel like the Lord has given me for 2026. I prayed about it. I've spent time. I've been up early in the morning on my face asking God, God, what is it that you want me to say to our body, to our church? I don't want to say anything that's my idea or my thoughts or whatever. I want to only say what's inspired by you. Only prophetic vision. Don't let anything else come out of my mouth other than that. And he said here's what it is and I want you to write it down So the people can see it so they can grasp it and they can run with it. Are you ready? 2026 the first thing I'm believing God for Salvations in 2026. Come on somebody 2026 how many of you believe God can do that? I The reason we don't see big things happen is because we don't ask for big things. We're limited in our faith We're afraid afraid to say something. I when I first when I first heard the Lord say that it's like you're crazy if you say that The people are gonna know now you're crazy It's confirmed. It's affirmed. But how many of you believe that the Lord will honor what he speaks? Amen, I believe that without so I'm believing for 2026 2026 salvations next thing This right here. I can see happening a little easier the completion of our current building project. Come on somebody. I Say that I say I say the front opening up the doors opening up And and listen to me. It's more than a physical door opening up The Holy Spirit's already showed me that what's getting ready to happen is there's a spiritual opening that's happening people are gonna be start Being drawn in here, especially lost people by the busloads by the busloads by the busloads Coming to find Jesus because they're going to know that they can come and hear the gospel preached Accept Jesus and not be judged in the condition. They're in but be mentored and discipled and helped along Can I hear an amen if you believe that? Third thing that's getting big look over to your neighbor say it's getting ready to get big
Here's what the Holy Spirit said We're gonna have Holy Spirit filled services. We're healings and miracles are the norm Are the norm Not I'm talking about the normal when we come in here We are going to see miracles and healings and it's going to be the norm. It's not going to be Oh, did you hear what happened three weeks ago? No, it's going to be did you see what happened today? Amen God, how many of you believe that God will honor what he says? Hey has God changed somebody help me Has God changed in 2025? No, he's not changed. He's the same God yesterday today and forever He said in his word these works Shall you do and greater because I'm going to the father the reason it don't happen is because we have a lack of faith But I'm praying God give me faith to believe you for these things. I wouldn't be saying it I wouldn't be releasing it if it wasn't for faith now the next thing Here's what else he said. He said that Revolution Church is going to birth a reentry ministry called revolution reentry program and it's for those who are incarcerated coming out of prison this church is going to develop and Ministry, it's going to help them get connected back into society. Come on. Praise the Lord if you believe I Believe by the grace of God only by the power of God Listen to me. He can do what he said he'll do. There's nothing impossible to our God He'll provide where there's vision. He'll provide with the Spirit of God is God fill up this place Now listen, what role are you going to need to take? You're gonna need to volunteer You're gonna need to serve See listen to me, this is the reality across America People released out of jail. Did they make mistakes? Somebody help me. Did they make terrible decisions? Help me Did you make terrible decisions? Did I make terrible decision every single one of us and we know that
But listen, it breaks my heart When I drive by the Justice Center three and a half miles from here And I see people released walking around the street corner down there going up to the hospital to keep warm don't know where to go don't have a place to go and And listen to me some of them walk here and you take care of them through your giving but I want to tell you something God said it's time to step it up and create and develop a re-entry program To help these individuals that want to follow Christ that want to change their lifestyle Listen to me, there's more than just offering a humanitarian aid It's about people who really want to change if they if you want to change and you're tired of the lifestyle And you're right, you know, the reason that most people are incarcerated is because they were Abandoned as kids they were sexually molested as little girls all this goes on and on and on they had no father figure in the house They had no parents and they end up in prison and then we point our finger at them and call them whatever Listen to me you go through their their life you deal with what they've dealt with you may be in the same condition But Jesus said to minister to them and we're going to minister to him. Amen praise the Lord I Don't know what it looks like I Can't run it God just gave me the inspired vision. He said pass it off to the church The church will do it You share the vision the church will provide the resources and the people you guys have are you stepped up it you you know Look at 2025 what you did what you accomplished as a church. You're incredible. God continues to use you Here's another thing the Lord spoke to me clearly and he said Revolution Church is going to plant another campus in the surrounding region in Gonna plant another campus. I don't know what it looks like I'm not sure but I do know that God wants to expand the kingdom of God. Can I hear an amen if you believe that? And he wants to use us the last thing That he spoke to me He said then 2026 Revolution Church is going to begin the plans for a family ministry center Which is a gymnasium a kitchen and classroom space here on this property. Come on praise the Lord
A family ministry center gonna begin the plans You see sometimes it just it just takes the beginning of the plan stepping out saying God. What if we did this? See, I believe the resources are going to come in. Can I hear an amen? How many of you believe that God can do it? How many of you believe that God wants to do more? How many of you will partner with me to see that he does more amen, let's go God gave vision 15 16 17 years ago. I was in San Francisco and I wrote it down. He said we'd be a hub to the world He also said that that this church would provide Christian education and that there would be a waiting list To get in how many of you realize that God has done that to amen. Come on. Praise the Lord God's doing something He's making disciples out of the children in this community As we think about the vision And we think about legacy What can I do that will outlast me and I'm talking talking about us. What can we invest in? What can we be involved with that brings fulfillment that brings a legacy? I want to read this passage to you as we think about that. It's 2nd Corinthians chapter 9 verses 6 through 10 remember this a farmer who plants only a few seeds Will get a small crop But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop You must each decide in your heart how much to give and don't give reluctantly or in response to pressure For God loves a person who gives cheerfully and God will generously provide all You need and then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others Come on somebody as the scriptures say They share freely and give generously to the poor Their good deeds will be remembered for ever Come on forever He goes on he said for God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat in the same way he will provide an increase your resources and then produce a harvest a great harvest of
Generosity in you say that's me. That's me. That's us He's saying that he's going to do this. So so this is the Word of God And I feel like that as you and I plant these seeds into this legacy offering last week I want to commend you for responding because this is going to allow us to push the vision forward Today Maybe there's some of you that didn't get to give in the legacy offering or you're like Connie And I he told us to split up our giving give one week half and give the next week the other half But I won't tell you something When we sacrificially give we will see God move in our lives In my own personal life in our finances in our health. Come on The joy the peace I'll take the peace over anything God just sent just just let us live in peace. There's so much chaos out there. Amen So these are the what we reap So here's what I want to do I Want you to write down legacy on an envelope. If you don't have cash, you want to give online, you can take your phone and you can touch the tap tag on the chair behind you and the first drop down, it'll say legacy. We set that up for these two weeks. So everybody would have a chance to give to the vision, the vision of 2026. You can go online, you can do it through the website, you can do it through our church app, any way you would like to do it. And listen, this is zero pressure. If you're a visitor today, this message really, it's for you, but I'm not asking you to give because you don't even know us. You've not connected with us. But if this is your church, I don't even have to ask you because you know you're going to give. Heard someone say the other day, they said, pastor, when you ask, we just dig. Because we know that the church is good stewards. They, they're, they're, they're not frivolous with, with the means because God's called us to be good stewards. We have to give an account for every penny and every, every dime. And I want to say to you today, as you give, I want you to just believe God. I want you to believe God. When you release that offering to believe the Lord for the miracles that you've been praying for, I'm going to say ushers. If you guys would go ahead and get in position and when they get in position,
I want to say a prayer. We're going to pass the buckets now, and I'm going to say a prayer and ask the Lord to just bless, bless every penny that's given today. As you bring your offering into the temple of the Lord, into the house of God, to honor the Lord with your giving, I want you to know that the Lord is honored through this. And we're very grateful. We're very thankful for each one of you. Let's pray. Oh, Father, what a beautiful day to be in your house. God to worship you, to honor you, to celebrate what you've done in the past, but God to also give opportunity to give toward the future. God, what's coming? But I believe, Lord, with all my heart, as days get darker, that the light shines brighter. And this is an opportunity, Lord, to give toward a vision that will expand the kingdom of God. We're thankful for it. And I ask you to bless every person today. God, that you touch our hearts and you show us what to do and what you'd like for us to give. And as a result, Lord, let souls be saved. Lord, let miracles happen. Father, let the hungry be fed. Let those who are incarcerated find a way to get back into society and be good people and be blessed. I thank you for that today. In Jesus' name. And everybody said, Amen. Amen. Amen. Usher's going to serve you. And right after they get through serving, we're going to sing another worship song and worship together in this house. How many of you know God is good? How many of you believe God is good? Has God been good to you? You have a lot to praise him for, don't you? We all do. And we're so thankful for the Lord Jesus and what he's doing. How many of you believe today would be a great day for someone to accept Christ? You think so? Maybe you showed up at this church as maybe an unbeliever, or you've never been born again. You never experienced that regeneration, new life. Today, I believe this service is for you. Right now, I'm going to ask everyone to stand if you would. No heads bowed, no eyes closed. If God's been speaking to you about being born again, if God's been talking to you about being saved, about really committing your life to him, would you just slip up your hand right now and say, Pastor, he's been talking to me. Remember me in prayer. Amen. Thank you, sir. Come on. Praise the Lord for someone who, thank you. Thank you. Praise the Lord. Anybody else? Just raise your hand. Anyone else? Bible says that if we confess our sin, that he's faithful and he's just to forgive us. You can be saved today. You can live different than you came. Your life can take on a whole new meaning. It's the best decision I ever made. Nothing else is even
close. Would you agree? Nothing else is even close. So thankful for it. Here's what we're going to do. I'm going to ask the prayer team if you guys would come. We're going to sing this last worship song, and if you don't have to leave, would you please just stay with us here during this last song? And I want the Lord to work in people's lives. If you need prayer for anything, the Bible says that signs and wonders come after the gospel is preached. Do you know what the gospel is? The humans were separated from God. There was no access to the Father because of the sin in the garden, but God sent his only begotten son, Jesus. He lived about 30 years on this planet and did nothing but good. He loved people. He served people. He healed people. He was crucified on a Roman cross. Joseph of Arimathea took his body and laid it in a borrowed tomb for three days. Say three days. And God raised his son from the dead. And now the Bible tells us that if you believe that that sacrifice was done for you, you can be saved. You will be saved. And you'll live forever with the Lord Jesus, with God in heaven. You can make that decision today. Can I hear an amen? That's the power of the gospel.
The power is in the gospel. Let's praise the Lord at this last worship song. If you need prayer for anything, come on forward and we want to pray with you. All the saints and angels, they bow before your throne. And all the elders pass their crowns before the veil of God's name. You are worthy of it all. You are worthy of it all. For from you are all things, and to you are all things, you deserve the glory. All the saints and angels, they bow before your throne. And all the elders pass their crowns before the veil of God's name. You are worthy of it all. You are worthy of it all. For from you are all things, and to you are all things, you deserve the glory. And God however you want to use us, whatever you call us to Jesus We will run towards you and never look back And God we just love you and we thank you for days like today And Jesus I just pray your protection And God I just pray that this season will be filled with your glory and your beauty And Jesus we just love you and we thank you in your name we pray and the church said amen
