Guided Prayer for Godly Influence, a few quiet minutes to surrender your influence to God and ask Him to use your everyday life. You don't need a title, a platform, or a big following to make an impact. God uses ordinary, faithful moments to create extraordinary influence and this prayer will help you steward the influence you already have.

This one is for anyone who touches other lives, parents, spouses, coworkers, leaders, creators, friends, neighbors. Listen in the car, at work, at the gas station, or with your family before the day begins. It's a reminder that faithfulness matters more than visibility, and that even your presence, your tone, and your kindness can point people toward Jesus.

In this prayer we'll slow down and breathe, surrender our influence and our need for recognition, and ask God to guide our steps and our words. Grounded in Matthew 5, Philippians 2, and Proverbs 27.

Take a moment right now and just slow down. Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale. Again, breathe in and exhale. Let your thoughts settle. Let the worries of your day melt away. In God's presence, mountains melt. God has placed people in your life for a reason, and today we're asking him to help us steward that influence well. Every person has an influence, not because of a title, not because of a platform, but because of the lives they touch every day. Maybe you're influencing your family, your friends, your co-workers, your community. Maybe you influence through social media, and sometimes it's easy to underestimate the impact of a faithful life, but God uses ordinary moments to create extraordinary influence. Listen to what Jesus said in Matthew chapter five, you are the light of the world. And in Philippians chapter two, shine among them like stars in the sky. Proverbs chapters 27 says, as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. God has called us to influence others towards him, for God to get the glory. God, we come before you right now, asking for wisdom in the area of influence you have given us. Whatever mountain you are calling us to, to influence, we are asking that you would guide every conversation, every opportunity to reflect your son, Jesus. And right now, I want to quietly think about the people God has placed in my life. The people you have allowed me to encourage, the people you have allowed me to lead, the people who watch me and examine me without me even knowing. Lord, let my life show your glory to those that I have influence over. Father, let me not minimize the influence that I have, whether it's an influence for one person, a coworker, my children, my spouse, that is my sphere of influence. Help me to influence them with love and patience, reflecting your character. Help me point people towards truth, which is you. Now take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.

Release the need for recognition. God, teach us to be faithful in small moments. Help us speak words that build others up. Help us live lives that inspire hope and encouragement. Let our influence bring healing. Let our influence bring encouragement and light. Let our influence bring people closer to you. Whether we're at a gas station, whether we're at the grocery store, let your fruit be shown in those areas to influence others towards you. Teach us today that faithfulness is more important than visibility. Right now, I invite you to open your hands, surrender your influence to God, your platform, your opportunities, your relationships, your conversations, even your thoughts. Place them in his hands. Ask God to partner with you for his purpose. Say this with me, God can use my life. I will influence others with love. I am a light where God has placed me. My words bring encouragement. I will be faithful in the small things. God is working through me. I will reflect Christ well. God, we ask you to use our lives for your glory. Help us influence others with wisdom, love, and humility. Every conversation we have, let that be an opportunity to point people closer to you. Remind us today, Father, that our influence is not just verbal, but the influence that we have on others can be nonverbal. Let our facial expressions today reflect your love, your warmth, your comfort. Let our presence influence peace in a room. Let our minds influence others in the way of wisdom and knowledge. Give us insight on who we are to influence and where we are to go.

Father, if you ask us to go in another direction today, to use another route, to go to work, to stop at a different gas station, let us be mindful that you are guiding us in the direction of influence. We thank you for the opportunity to partner with you so that we can draw people closer to you. Let us slow down today and not be so busy to get to our destination that we recognize the people that we're to influence are right in front of us. How we speak to our families, the tones that we use, that our children will use and mimic us, let us be kind and patient so that we may influence those around us to look more like your son, Jesus. You are the greatest influence. We declare you will be the greatest influencer of our lives. We declare you to be Lord and Savior. Guide us and lead us in all directions. Help us influence in the business. Help us influence in the boardroom. Help us influence in the bathroom when we go somewhere, wherever we are. You be our guide to influence. We thank you for the opportunity you have given to us today to partner with you and become an influencer for God. It's in Jesus' name we pray, amen.
