God's Faithfulness Was Never the Thing on Trial | Mornings with Mico

Somewhere in the walk, the question quietly changes. It starts as will God do what He said? and eventually becomes something that costs a lot more: will I surrender to how He does it, and when? Mico opens with 2 Timothy 2:13 and lands hard on four words in it, "he cannot deny himself," then walks through Joseph in Genesis 40, where a cupbearer who could have walked Joseph out that same day forgot him for two more years. If God's faithfulness ran on ours, every promise He ever made would only be as secure as our worst day. That's not the gospel. That's just the same accounting you've been living under with His name stamped on it. He also draws a sharp line between surrender and going numb, because one of those keeps you faithful in the cell and the other just protects you from hoping. Ends with three questions worth journaling, including the one most of us dodge: what have you decided about God during this wait that isn't actually true about Him?
