you you you you you you door closed that door closed anybody out I we got to fix this mic better let me I need a new mic please check check hello and then Kenny can you just make sure there's nobody in the hallways check check check check hello hello sounds better praise the Lord amen how's everybody doing there we go this I like this one this mic sounds way better praise the Lord who's excited for discipleship man amen does anybody remember what was spoken about pre service nobody not a soul y'all gotta repent we gotta repent somebody get a mic to Harry Harry stand up I want you to tell me what we talked about last pre service the vision in the heart okay because we've been in a series of what what's the series breaking the orphan mentality the spirit right come on Harry talk about it so I say it was you know counting it all joy and trials like we were talking about James accounting a joy and not saying everything's perfect and pretending you're amazing but just giving God glory and truly thanking him through it all amen amen that's right we did do James one last time what about the last time they're rich talked about the orphan spirit who remembers that come on somebody get her a mic right here Alyssa and I want you to stand up and tell us so that way we all could you know on the court you listen right here raise your hand then get you the mic we got SOR praise the Lord Come on, you listen, tell us what you learned so far about the orphan spirit. Okay. So what I learned was how the orphan spirit, it makes you double minded and you're led by your emotions versus being led by God's truth with who he is. And it was really timely because it really like exposed the areas of my heart where there

is residue of like that orphan spirit. And I really had to like reflect with the Lord and I had to be vulnerable with him and like there's times where I'm leaning more on my emotions more than his truth. And that I really wanted to not just be head knowledge, but I know it in my heart who he is. I see. And yeah, like when you're in the world, all we know is to be an orphan. Yes. He's very compassionate and gentle with us, but he doesn't want us to move like an orphan because when you move like an orphan, you're always like striving. You're always double minded. You're always like thinking, oh my God, I got to do this to just make it or like I got to have a plan B, C and God doesn't want that. He wants us to him. He wants him to be our everything, like our plan A and to trust that he's really who he says he is. Amen. Amen. That's good. Come on. That's powerful. Before we could even go into anything else that God has for you in this walk, it's like, this is like the first thing that, you know, once we receive salvation, freedom, you receive the Holy Spirit, encounters, powerful, but then it's like, this is what everybody treads up to is that identity and knowing that you're a son of God and you're no longer a slave, that you're no longer an orphan because that orphan mentality, like our sister just said, it makes you double minded. It has you striving for the father's love. It has you trying to earn the things that God has already given to you. He already gave it to you.

It's an inheritance that you received once you became his son. And that's what unlocks everything else that he can do for you. A lot of us, a lot of not us, but just in general, right? They'll try to skip identity and sonship and go straight into calling, go straight into ministry, go straight into marriage, go straight into business, not knowing that this very thing, if it goes unchecked, is detrimental. You know what detrimental means? Like fatal. People, there's people ministering right now on pulpits with platforms that don't have identity of sonship and on the camera and on the platform, they're one thing and behind closed door, it's another thing. And this is where we got compromised Christianity and it gets slippery, man. It's a slippery slope and it's demonic. But once you learn identity and you learn sonship and you know that you've been adopted and you're our son of God and you're no longer an orphan and that mentality breaks, that spirit, that stronghold, that pattern is broken, then he can entrust you with more. That's where more comes from. That's where God, obviously we don't do it for that, but he's such a good father. He's such a great king that he has that already for us. And once we learn that, the impartation, that power that he already gave us, now we tap into it. Now we move like kings. Now we move in that authority. Now you don't, you're not double-minded in that understanding. When you go preach the gospel, you're not preaching from an orphan on assignment to go work for your dad or you become a revelation and when you speak to people, you're looking to them in their eyes and saying, you can be, you can receive what I received and that's your proof. This is your testimony. We went evangelizing right after Jesus rally and man, the Lord just, Matthew 24, Matthew

24 is Jesus talking about the coming, the signs of the coming of the end and he's teaching his disciples about how there's going to be tribulation. There's going to be famine, rumors of wars, wars, and that the sky is going to go black and all of these signs to his coming and that inevitably he's coming back. And that threw a fire in me to go, that's all I was preaching. I was like, Jesus Christ is coming back. There's two things that are for certain that are going to happen in your life is you're going to die and Jesus Christ is coming back. Are you ready? I was to people at the clubs in downtown, man, and I was just looking at them in their eyes like it's going to happen, but there's good news. This is the good news is that if you're a son of God, if you receive his spirit, then when he comes back, we celebrate. We don't, we're not going to receive what the world is going to about. It's about to happen. What's about to happen, but we, as his elect, as sons of God, man, it's a different day for us. It's not judgment and hell fire. And when we see, Jesus says, when you see these signs, he says, don't even worry. They have to happen in order. for the son of man to be revealed on his second coming. And that gave me like a fireman and preaching from identity is how you truly preach the gospel. You're not a salesman for Jesus. He doesn't need salesmen. He needs sons of God that know that they're sons of God. So when you're telling somebody that's an orphan, clearly, right, in the world, identity is in money, women, fame,

college, success, cars, you come to them with substance. Something that's real, something that's true, something that's genuine, a testimony that'll break their faith. That faith they have and whatever they think is the purpose of life or the reality, you come with something more potent, something more rooted, something that stands against the winds of life. And you look them in their eyes and you tell them the truth. And what that does is that shakes them. A lot of people receive prayer, but they were shaken, man. They were shaken when I said, Jesus Christ is coming back, are you ready? And it's like, they were like, dang, you're right. Like, it opened the urgency in them. And I came with that, like, come on, receive him today. You don't gotta wait. You don't have to wait until your life is in shambles to receive, you can receive him right now. You can receive him right now, go home, get out of here. This is empty in vain. And people received, man, and it was powerful. But that's what happens when you're a son of God and you preach the gospel as a son of God, not a salesman. You know what salesmen sound like? They try to tell you all the good things. Like, oh, when you come to Christ, you can have a business. When you come to Christ, your life gets better.

And that's a lie, that's a lie. Your life doesn't get better, but it does become better because now all that matters, you have now, amen? So we're gonna talk about sonship. Richard has been going through this series of breaking that mind of the orphan spirit. And today we're gonna be on lesson four. I don't have a PDF to send you guys. I'm gonna be reading from my own, but I do want us to engage. I do want us to participate. We're gonna, I'm gonna ask you guys to pull out scripture. We're gonna read it together and we're gonna do this. Who's excited? Who's excited? Y'all ready? Hey, today we had orientation. We have new members in the building. Can everybody, isn't God so good? For all the new members, can y'all stand up real quick? And we're gonna give you guys a nice little rock welcome. Welcome to the rock. Ha ha, praise the Lord. Thank you guys, thank you. It's powerful. God is adding on to his church. I don't even know how many people, it was like what? Like 25 plus, something like that. But man, God is good.

All right, so we're gonna pull out the first scripture. Galatians four, verse four through seven. That's the first scripture I want you guys to pull out. And I'm gonna go ahead and read this. It says, God didn't send his son only to forgive you. He sent his son to refather you. Galatians four, four through five says, but when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth his son to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. So look at the purpose clause right here. Why did the son come? That we might receive the adoptions as sons. Forgiveness isn't the finish line. It's the doorway. The goal of the cross was never just to get you out of hell, but it was to get you into a family. Adoption here is the Greek word, and bear with me. Heodosia, it's a Roman legal term where a chosen child is given the full, permanent, and irreversible status as a natural born son. Old debts are erased, new name is given, full inheritance is received, and it can never be undone. God didn't take you as a project. He didn't take you onto a probationary hire. He didn't just take you as a charity case. He legally and permanently placed you as a son. The orphan spirit has no legal ground to stand on anymore. The adoption papers were signed in blood. So this is, man, this is so powerful.

Galatians 4, it talks about the fullness of time coming. And once that fullness of time came, then the son came forth to redeem us from under the law. So when it says that the fullness of the time had come, it's speaking about a time that was perfect for the coming of Jesus. See, God wasn't worried about, God sending his son Jesus wasn't a plan B. It was a plan before the foundation. of the earth. It was it coming into perfect fruition at the perfect time once all is fulfilled, right? And once it was fulfilled, then God sent forth his son, right? And once he sent him forth, it was to redeem us from under the law. And we know that the law wasn't the cure to sin. We know that the law was used to expose our sin and to show us how great a gap there is from God and us in the current state that we're in. To reveal that we can no longer, that we on our own can never obtain the status or the bar that it is to be with God, right? But the greatest part about this verse is that we might receive the adoption as sons. So being saved, like I just said, right? It isn't the be all, do all. Being saved and receiving the blood is the beginning. Everybody say beginning. It's the beginning. It's the doorway. A lot of Christians, a lot of preachers, man, they'll preach and they'll tell you about salvation and forgiveness and they just stop there and never go into sonship and identity. And that's why we have a bunch of orphans. We have a lot of people that don't have identity of who they are. They don't have identity of what God truly wants with them. And that's to be in union and to be into a family. Going into his covenants and receiving his blood and his son was just the beginning. And now he's bringing you into sonship and identity. Now he's teaching you like, look, now you're my son and I'm your father. You're not just simply just a person serving a God that's far away. No, it's intimate. It's close. And once you guys realize that, that man, God legally, right? Because that word adoption as a son, right? In the first century, the sons of the first century, when they receive adoption, that paperwork is a legal term, adoption. There's actually a motion that needed to be filed where you would actually, if a man wanted to adopt a son, he would literally choose the son. Like, this is the son that I want. And it was crazy as I was actually, as I was learning in the

first century, some sons that were biological would be disowned. The fathers that had inheritance, had land, had things that they had under them that they could pass on to their son. If their son wasn't able to carry on maybe the business, maybe whatever the wealth that they had, they could literally disown the son and go find another son. And literally find the son and then be like, well, now I see that you are, you have the character to continue on with what I have and choose. I'm like, I choose this guy to be my son. And then take the paperwork and literally file it legally. And now that the, once that legal process is filed, that person becomes the son legally. And it's not like, okay, you become the son and then we wait a little bit. And then let's see if you're a good son. Like, no, no, it's right there in that moment, the full inheritance, the name of that old son is changed. So now he takes on the name of his new father and he inherits the full inheritance. So that's, that's what Paul is really stressing here in Galatians. He used a lot of Roman terminologies to say, legally, you are now the son of God. Legally, you don't have to wait to receive this inheritance. According, legally, you have now received it in full. And now you don't have your old last name, your old life, your old family. Those things are erased. And literally, legally, if you would, if somebody was to try to accuse an adopted son of things that was old life, they can't, they don't hold, they don't hold in court. Legally, you are a new son. You are a new, you have a new name and a new authority. Isn't that powerful? That we are sons of God. We've taken on the identity of our father. We've received his authority. And now we have his inheritance. I want to ask you guys a good discipleship question. Have you been living like a foster kid or on a trial period with God? Afraid that one wrong move would send you back? Who wants to answer that one? Have you been living like a foster kid or on a trial period with God? Jessica, where are you at right here? Have you been living? What was the question? Have you been acting like a foster kid or what is it? Yep. As a foster kid or on a trial period with God. So for me, I really used to do that with worship. Like I really used to think, like when I, when I first started like, um, worshiping, I really used to think like, okay, if I don't play good enough, or if I play too many wrong notes, like I'm going to be out. Like God's going to be like, no, you're disqualified. You can't worship anymore. I really used to have that mindset, but the Lord is, he had to show me like, this is what I've called you to do. This is the gifting that I've called you, uh, I've given you. But at the same time, before any of that, you're my daughter. You're not, and he taught me that there's nothing I can do to disqualify myself as his daughter. There it is. And yeah, that's powerful. So you, you in worship, you felt right. That if you messed up on a note or when you, while we're playing that, oh man, I said, God, he's watching those errors. What if I told you he was cheering you on? Wow. Well, he was like, come on, Jessica, come on, step out of your comfort zone. Come on, Jessica. He's pushing you. That that's the difference from micromanagement to encouragement. It's true. Praise the Lord. Amen. Amen. That's good. Who else, who else wants to share back there? And then we'll get two from SOR. What's up SOR family. God bless you guys. God bless you guys. Raise your hand. So that way we go ahead and call you guys. To answer this question. Come on. Yeah. So I used to have that mindset because, because of basketball, like I would do one mistake. I'm out the game. So I used to have that with God. Like, oh, I gotta be perfect. Oh, I can't fall down. Oh, I said, oh, like I have to earn my way. I learned you can't earn your way. You just receive it. It's true. Just receive it. Have you ever had a situation like in basketball where like you made a mistake and they pulled you out the game? Yeah. Isn't that crazy? Yeah. And it's like that, that, what I was learning too is like studying this is that like, what, what the orphan mentality is, is it's linked to experience. So the fact that you felt that once upon a time, let's say you were probably trying to ball your hardest, made a mistake, made a bad pass, took a bad shot, and then got punished for it. Right. Penalized for it. That experience is what's connected to the orphan mentality. So now whenever you're trying to walk this walk, I'll be on fire. Have, you know,

live a life that's righteous and Holy unto God. And then you make a mistake. You know what that, that heart is reminding is remembering that moment you got pulled out the game. And that's why you're trying to like, it's like, you want to default, but this is the renewing of the mind. This is the Holy spirit bearing witness with your spirit. You're a son of God. That's not, that's not the case. Hallelujah. Come on. Give Jesus some praise. That's good. Come on. SOR family. Raise your hand. We're going to call on one from SOR. Can I see where the hands are at? Repeat the question. So the question was, have you been living like a foster kid on a trial period with God? And if anybody on SOR wants to go ahead and raise their hand and chop it up with us, they can hear us, right? They're good on the volume. Maybe put it in the chat. See if they got it. And just let me know if somebody raises their hand. We're going to keep moving. All right. I'm gonna ask you guys one more question. So what changes when you realize the adoption is legally final? So now we all express just now, you know, moments where we've been feeling like, or things that remind us of that foster kid trial period. But what would change in your mind or in your walk if you realized that it's legally finalized, that you're a son of God? Kamaria, back there. Raise your hand. Keep your hand raised, Kamaria, so they can get to you. Hello? Okay. Perfect, I'll stand up. For me, I believe what changed for me, I can tell about my personal experience. On Father's Day, I got major healing from father wounds. The Lord led me to like call my dad that I didn't have too much of a good relationship with. And I was able to just ask him about his day, talk to him, because usually when I was in the world,

I would ask him for things, because that was my heart. But I'm not that way anymore. So I really just called him to see how he was doing. And the Lord opened up the floor for him to tell me his side of things. And I got to see him rightly, and I got to forgive him. And I got to release just like those things in my heart. So I believe the Lord allowed that to happen recently so I can actually start to see my heavenly father rightly. And knowing that I'm a true daughter of God, that I'm in sonship with him. And so like, when I go to the presence of God, I'm not going to the presence of God trying to earn my way to him. I'm going because I've already had access. And so like, that's the difference that's been working with me. And like, knowing that I'm legally his already. And like that song that Brennan sang, I'm Adopted, that like hits hard, because I'm adopted. I'm not an orphan. So yeah, that's my part. You're not an orphan. How many people feel like, man, I used to feel this all the time, that when you go to pray, it's like, I got to do all these things to get into the presence of God. Who's felt like that? Be real.

That you, I got to pray in tongues for 30 minutes. Then I got to praise for 30 minutes. And then I got to put on some contemporary worship and just, and now I'm in the spirit, right? Isn't that crazy? That's like, that's striving. God is already with you. You don't pray to connect, you pray from connection. Does that make sense? You don't pray like somebody like reaching up, trying to like grab the hand of the father as he's reaching down. Like, it's not like that. You're already connected. You're already sealed. And I get you that that revelation alone, when you go into the presence of the Lord and you say, God, you're already here. You're waiting for me. You're excited to be with me. You want to talk to me more than I want to talk to you. And let that reality set into your heart. You're gonna find prayer is so enjoyable. It's not this like, it's like this chore. Sometimes we can feel like prayer is a chore. Like if I don't pray, I'm gonna get attacked. If I don't pray, I'm gonna fall into sin. But the revelation of sonship and identity, even if you wake up late and you didn't pray that morning, you're not gonna just fall into sin.

Oh, I didn't pray today, falls into sin. Like, no, like that revelation of sonship and identity, it seals you. And you say, you know what? Maybe I woke up late because I went to sleep late. You're in the car, praying in the Holy Ghost. Any moment that you get, you seek the Lord. Right, when we say, this is another good one. When we say, yo, you're on fire. What does that mean? If I was to be like, yo, Alicia, you're on fire. What does that mean? What does that being on fire mean? What does that mean? Somebody, you got a mic. Being intimate and I'm in communion with him. Boom, right? Sometimes we think like, oh, I'm on fire. It's like, there's literally like a fire on you or something. Even though in the spirit, when you seek him, there is, but it's like, we like, I don't know. It's like somebody that went to the gym a bunch of times. It's like, oh, you've been working out. It's because there's a notice, like a physical notice, but it's just seeking the Lord. Alicia, if you didn't wake up and pray, are you not on fire? Absolutely not. Yeah, I had seasons, well, a few seasons like that.

The Lord was very merciful to even answer prayers that I was striving in until I had the revelation of sonship. And so to kind of back up what Kamaria was saying, the Bible says that he chastises those whom he loves. When you are in communion as a daughter, as a son, that chastisement doesn't scare you. It actually encourages you because chastisement means discipline. So he's disciplining you. And we're never not sons or daughters. We just may be out of alignment. So we have to be careful with how we say, how we use our words and how we steward our words because we're adopted. The blood has, like you said, signed those adoption papers. The blood doesn't lie, just like the Lord doesn't lie. His word doesn't lie. So never say that you're not in relationship. You could be out of alignment, but that's us. That's not him. That's us, that's not him. So we always just realign to what the father says we are, whom he says we are, what he says we are. Says we're gonna do all the assignments that he has and so on and so forth It's true because it's like that fire or being on it's a revelation It's like yo, i'm gonna seek the lord. I woke up late I didn't pray and it happens to a lot of us a lot of us. We woke up late. We didn't pray Oh, i'm in the flesh like no, I woke up. Hallelujah. I'm a son of god. Praise the lord. Let me not be late to work

Oh, let me grab a sandwich on the way to work happy praising the lord like literally like yo I'm on fire because I seek my father. It's not that oh because like prayer is like if I didn't pray I'm, not a son of god like no man. You a son of god You a son he chose you he chose you and you chose him, but you know what's gonna come with from that revelation You're gonna pray You're gonna make time you're gonna prioritize that like yo, let me go spend time with my father Let me wake up early in the morning and go seek his face because I want to make sure that i'm flowing from his love I'm, i'm living a life of overflow not drained not barely making it not showing up late you know looking a mess and You know in the flesh and like man, that's just that that's striving man. That's striving We gotta break out of that and know that yo i'm a son of god. I'm a son of god. It's It's irreversible irreversible Those papers were signed and sealed and nothing can take that from you. You are a son of god You are a son of god and once that revelation of sonship hits trust me That's when you'll make time for prayer. You'll make time for it You'll say let me wake up early because I want to seek him You're not thinking like man I gotta wake up and early and pray because I want to be blessed Or I want a smooth day even if you have a bad day as a son of god you praise him through it you say praise god You'll notice that like yo i'm a son of god. This is a trial situation happening god You're trying to you're trying to show me something lord. What is it or this is a test right now? Hold on. Let me be patient. Let me not react in the flesh Let me be loving to this person who's trying to provoke me onto anger because you're a son of god You're not like oh they're being mean to me And now your whole life is situational and based off of the situation of your life that determines what your life goes like no As a son of god, you are planted and rooted knowing that god loves you You are loved by god and your life is a reflection of his love And people get to encounter the love of god through a son of god. What it means to be like on fire because a lot of times we think being on fire is like that external like that feeling That's like oh like i'm ready like i'm lit right now Like you just got out the prayer room and you're just like teed up but like fire isn't necessarily like the external It's like internally you're burning for him It's like you have that passion that desire that hunger that thirst for him To the point where it's like I think about like the seraphim, right? They're literally around his throne 24 7 They're crying out. Holy. Holy. Holy. They're burning for him They're called burning ones and it's like they're on fire and they don't want to leave It's like you're they're just enamored with him. Like they're infatuated just in all so it's like internally You're on fire. You may be going through it. But internally it's like your heart is just postured onto him Yes, like all you want is him. That's it even in the midst of it Like you woke up you didn't pray but still like all you want is him. Yes It's like think about it. How can somebody like How can somebody desire to be with god and want to do the things of god if they don't feel loved? Imagine if it's like yo, I have to do this long list of things in order to receive love that's gonna unmotivate somebody That's why a lot of us are unmotivated to pray Because we feel like man I have to work I have to strive think about it our whole life. We've been programmed to to produce and receive So our production is what is what determines our reception So we wake up in the morning We go to work and based off of the hours that you work you receive a paycheck Or you go to school the way that you perform on your test is determines the grade that you get So psychologically we're programmed to perform perform perform. Let me perform. Let me perform If I do well, then I am well If I got good grades, my parents would buy me ice cream or if I had a good report card Then they give me money But then when you had a bad report card, you got punished you see what i'm saying? So like psychologically we're programmed that way, but this is why we have to read the word of god Meditate on his on the word of god in his presence

Ask the lord say father show me how much of a son I am to you and he will begin to show you Man, I chose you before the foundations man. You were already mine You just came into alignment and agreement with the reality that you're my son You see what i'm saying and that that right that alone is what's gonna make you like jason said come on fire You're gonna you're gonna be like man. My god is so good. My father is so good I want to go seek him. I want to tell somebody about him I want to I want to do more for him not from a place of if I don't do it Then i'm not a son but from revelation. I am a son and this is what a son Oh my God, it does. And that's what's gonna change the perception. Perception is key. All right, I'm gonna read this next section right here. It says this, look at this. We have another verse. It's Romans 8.16. Everybody pull up Romans 8.16. It's so good. So there's a difference between knowing you're adopted on paper and hearing the Spirit say it to your heart. Romans 8.16 says the Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. You can know the doctrine of sonship cold and still feel like an orphan because the orphan spirit lives in the gap between what's legally true and what's experientially real. So God didn't just file the paperwork. He sent his Spirit to come testify

to your spirit on the inside. You belong. You're his. This isn't just information. It's an inner witness, a knowing deeper than your feelings that holds even when you fail. The orphan begs for evidence. The son has a witness living on the inside of him. And notice it's the Spirit's job to convince you. So when you can't talk yourself into feeling like a son, you don't strive harder. You ask the Spirit to bear witness again. So the Greek word for bear witness, right, is sommelento. It means to bear witness together, to testify alongside. The Spirit doesn't testify instead of you. It testifies with your spirit, conforming on the inside what God already declared on paper. See, one thing we gotta know is that God loves to affirm his children. Think about it. Jesus knew that the Father loved him, knew that the Father sent him, walked in communion with the Father for 30 years before he even began ministry. He already had a revelation of a son. He already walked as a son.

He was in preparation for his ministry and the cross. And then he gets baptized in the Jordan. And what does the Father say immediately after he gets baptized? Behold, my son, my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased. The Father affirms Jesus publicly and declares over him to all that this is my beloved son, affirming him, telling him, you are my son. We see the constant affirmation that Jesus gives onto them, that I will be with you, that you don't have to worry. When he teaches them and he tells them over and over again, that do not lean on your own, lean on mine. Take on my yoke, my burden. It's easy, it's light. Trust in what I have told you. Believe in what I say. Have faith. Always affirming them even in their unbelief, even when they didn't believe, even when they were just trying to understand and grasp the idea that this is the son of God, that this man is fully man, fully God, that one day he's gonna be taken away, crucified. He's gonna get buried and resurrect.

All of those realities they struggled with, but he didn't just stop them and say, oh, okay, you don't get it, and just move to something. No, no, he kept telling them and telling them and reaffirming them and speaking to them. And the Holy Spirit, according to Romans 8, it testifies with your spirit. You just have to listen to it. Listen to the Holy Ghost. Let the Holy Ghost minister onto your heart. That's why prayer, the word worship is so important so that you can bring these internal things that you feel to the Lord. Surrender them to him and then let him confirm. Holy Spirit, testify. Testify to my spirit, right? Because the Bible speaks about how, as humans, we have three, right? We got the physical body that connects us to this physical place. We got our soul, and then we got our spirit. Our soul is our mind, will, and emotions, and our spirit is what God makes alive during salvation. He breathes a new spirit in you, and that spirit now testifies with his spirit together that you are a son of God. You are a son of God. Everybody say that. Say, I'm a son of God.

You gotta know that you are a son of God. And I love how it's said, well put. It can't just be information. You can know the doctrine of sonship. You can teach it to somebody, but then when life gets hard, you act like an orphan. Or when things get hard, you start moving like an orphan. When finances are not coming through, you start looking for a plan B like an orphan. Instead of relying, and sitting, and being patient, and knowing that God is your provider. Not only is God your provider, but Abba provides for you. That you are a son of the king and the king never lets his children go without Abiding in that revelation. What if I told you that God allows situations to happen just to try to re just to reinsert that sonship in you and The more that we resist what's happening is the more that we prolong him revealing himself But when you stand and you sit and you say God, you know what? I don't even know what's happening. But glory God you you receive all the glory God I don't know what's happening right now in this situation, but I give it to you because your character is Not gonna leave me in this situation and then allow the father to reveal himself To reveal himself in the midst of those tough times That's why we go through various trials and tribulation and like the book of James says count it what all joy Because what is producing something in you we whenever we go through things we got to be sons of God You'll notice that being a son of God in a situation is the best thing you could possibly do You say man guy. I don't know what's going on. But man, you got it guys. You got it I don't know, but you got it Lord. You got it. I don't got it. I don't I don't have to figure it out I'm gonna abide. I'm gonna rest. I'm gonna seek I'm gonna knock but I'm not gonna worry I'm not gonna be double-minded. I'm not gonna start thinking of plan B's I'm gonna sit I'm gonna say guy you got this and y'all gonna know that that's that that let that happen And then when he reveals himself to you, he shows you his goodness. He shows you his character

You're gonna say you're gonna give glory to God and your mind's gonna be renewed cuz he's gonna continue to bear witness You are my son. You are my son. Don't worry. You are my son. You are my son Everybody say it again say I'm a son of God And that breaks chains It breaks chains to know that you're a son of God. You might not have had like a physical father You might not had a physical family But when you enter into the kingdom of heaven you now have a father and you have to break out of this orphan God Show me God getting distressed and pulled and Fearing and thinking that that's that you do not have a father and come into the revelation that you are a son of God and It's irreversible Irreversible what he did for you and you've received amen I want y'all to man let that hit your heart Because before I'm gonna say it again before we can get into the other things that God has for this church for your life We have to learn this Because if you can learn this You got it set the devil can't come at you try to shift you blame you accuse you You're gonna stand as a son of God when the devil starts attacking your family You know what you do you tee up in the spirit and you say this is my family This is my life, and I plead the blood of Jesus over it And I thank you Jesus that I'm a son of God and you just you you proclaim that with victory I am a son of God and that destroys every accusation that you're by yourself that you can't do it that He's not gonna provide that he's not coming for you that these things are always gonna be the way that they are No, it breaks that that simply. I am a son of God I say that breaks all of those accusations of the devil it breaks it The devil does not want you to know your identity because if he knew your identity you can start expanding the kingdom if you don't Know your identity you just gonna be by yourself in a little circle doing nothing for the kingdom But when you know your identity and he fears a son of God that knows he's a son of God Because once you know you're a son of God the kingdom starts getting expanded you start making other sons of God

You start being a father to people that need a father and they need to be sons of God So let me ask you guys a question Is your sonship something you only know in your head or something the Spirit has made real in your heart? Come on Alex It started off I'll be honest it started off like just known it in my head and trying to trying to like actualize it trying to like come in agreement with it, but When it really hit my heart The Lord just told me stop reading your Bible stop trying to pray stop trying to talk I just need you to just sit there in my presence I'm sorry. Yes, so I'll repeat myself. The Lord just told me stop trying to read your Bible stop trying to pray I just need you to sit there and Just behold my presence it man And that just broke so many chains off of me because like even like you said like I'll just Declare and come against it. No that yeah, like I can't a hundred percent agree but what really broke that through was just knowing and Just sitting in his presence without I mean, you know, the revelations start downloading and you're like, I gotta feed people He's just like no Just sit there in my my presence and just bask in my presence. And just that, it just grew like this knowledge, just knowing that I don't gotta do anything. I don't gotta try to read my Bible more. I don't gotta try to pray more. As long as I sit there and receive what he has for me, that's it. That's true. Come on, man. That's powerful.

That's powerful. Come on, Tay. Man. So it's been a journey more so in regards to this question because it took the Lord really showing me, especially when you come into a covering that's so, the way that we are, that's 100% for Jesus. And you start learning how to, okay, doing for God versus doing with God. That's when you start seeing where you put your identity in. Like, okay, if I'm doing this, I'm doing this. And understanding what the Holy Spirit showed me, it doesn't come from doing. It comes from who's dwelling on the inside of you. But what he showed me, he took me to Romans 6, 1, where it's like to strip all of that away, what you're doing, and say our whole purpose was to be created to belong to God. So a lot of times, I have to constantly, when you feel it getting loud, it's like I was created to belong to God. That's, so then, and then I'll wake up and I'll say, even on those mornings where it's busy and you forget to pray, I stop and I say, I receive your love. And it's like intentionally putting it on. Okay, I receive your love. And then from that day, it goes and it goes and it goes. And so, and sometimes I'll even sing to him, I just will be like, I was created to be with you.

And I just start singing that over and over and over. And it shifts. And like, I would just ask an Alicia too, I was like, do you ever feel like where it physically, like you could physically feel it, like your heart is like shifting. So yeah. That's so good. That's so good, man. Praise the Lord. It has to go from the realm of information and get deposited in your heart. Because once it goes from here to here, then you walk in it. So if you ask yourself, man, I know this, but you're not walking in it. And walking in it is the fruit of it hitting your heart. Because it's, you could even, like I said, you could teach it to somebody else, somebody, you could read it. And it's cool. It's not, it's information. But if it doesn't become revelation into the heart, then nothing changes. And that's the greatest part about the Holy Spirit bearing witness with your spirit, that you are a son of God. That once it goes from information to revelation, you walk in it. You walk in it.

I'm gonna read this next section, guys. Hold on, I'm so sorry. I just wanna get through it. All right, so this is the next one. It's Galatians 4.7. Here, I pull out Galatians 4.7. The same word that ends your slavery hands you inheritance. Galatians 4.7 says, therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son. And if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. So read the claim Paul builds. No longer slave, but a son. And if a son, then an heir. You can't skip a link. The orphan tries to grab the inheritance while still thinking like a slave. And it never works because the inheritance is released through identity. I'm gonna say that again. The inheritance is released through identity, not through effort. A slave earn wages. A son receives inheritance. I'm gonna say that again. A slave earns wages. A son receives inheritance. Wages you work for and they run out. Inheritance you're born into and it's already yours. And look at the staggering size of it. Not just an heir of stuff, but an heir of God.

The inheritance isn't merely what God can give you. The inheritance is God himself. The orphan wanted the portion. The son gets the father. So what's crazy about this is that in the first century, it's kind of the same thing with the adoption. Once the father or a father were to choose a son legally, they'd become his son, take on his name, take on his authority, receive his inheritance, come into his family just like a blood son would. Or the slave, let's say there was a slave, and it's unfortunate, but they had slaves back in the day for various reasons, but let's say somebody wanted to purchase a slave and give them freedom. If they were to come up and say, look, I'm gonna purchase all, I'm gonna pay for the debt that this slave owes to give him freedom. It's the same thing. The slaves became slaves because they were in debt, and they couldn't pay their debt, so according to Jewish customs in the first century, they had to willingly put themselves into slavery to pay off their debt. So that's why they were slaves. And if a master were to come by and say, hey, you know what, I see this slave, and I wanna go ahead and choose this slave, and he could come with me, or he could take his freedom, they would legally pay the debt,

whatever debt that that slave owes. Now that slave is debt-free, and now it comes under the wing of the master or the father, and it's the same process. Takes on his name, takes on his authority, receives his inheritance, and has the opportunity to submit himself under the wing of the new father or the new master. It's very similar, and that's why Paul, in the same passage, Galatians 4, he speaks about sonship and adoption, and then goes down and talks about a slave, they're no longer a slave, but now a son, because it's the same principles, and it's the same process, that you were once a slave in debt to whatever it is that they owed to now being free, debt-free, and a son, no longer owing any other obligations that you did owe to the previous master, but now having freedom to serve the new master. And that's honestly the same revelation that we have once we come to Christ. And the thing is, is the slave doesn't just remain a slave and becomes the other person's slave, no, he becomes a son, and receives a family. And now, because they've received freedom, a lot of times the slaves would serve that master in gratitude, and that's how we have to be as sons of God. Like, we're not just like, okay, I'm saved now, so let me, I guess I have to do Christian stuff.

Like, no, you do it from revelation that the father has paid your debt, and now you're a son that received his inheritance, his name, his backing, and you do it from a revelation of gratitude. Everybody say gratitude. It's the testimony of the saints. That's why I really highly encourage everybody in my Revival team, just in general, when you pray, meditate on your testimony, because it's always gonna bring you into a place of gratitude. It's always gonna make it so you're not striving for blessings, you're sitting in a place of like, man, God, I was in all of this mess, and you took all this mess away, that I was in all this debt, and I did all these bad things my whole life, and now suddenly none of these things are held against me. Now, the devil, whenever the devil lies to you about your past, you tell the devil, I'm a son of God, because now I have received my father's inheritance. My debt has been paid off. I no longer owe whatever I owed, and now I have a new name. Everybody say new name. A new name as a son of God. You guys, ask me this last question before we... So it says, look at this. It says, are you still trying to earn wages from God

when he's trying to hand you inheritance? I love that. Are you still trying to earn wages from God, but he's trying to hand you inheritance? Come on, who wants to answer that? Somebody. Come on, Eddie, right here. Yeah, so for me, I feel like God was trying to hand me inheritance, and hand me inheritance, and I was accepting it, accepting certain areas, so then I started trying to earn those wages because I wasn't accepting the inheritance in that area, and so then I started to strive to earn those wages. That makes sense. You know what I'm saying? So give us an example of that. Yeah, so basically, more of my finances, like I would be on fire with my prayer life, with all these other things, all these things, but my finances were struggling, and I realized that it was because God was actually trying to get me out of that area, but I wasn't accepting what he was trying to give me in that area, and then after continuously struggling in that area, it was like, okay, dang, God, I turned you down in this area, so now I gotta do it on my own, and I try to earn that. And I try to earn that on my own outside of that. Does that make sense?

Yeah, it does. Amen. Who else? My brother Ken back there. Come on, Ken. A little tougher today. Prime example for me would be when I first started taking my cross out and walking with it and trying to evangelize to people, I'd base how well I did versus how far I'd went. how much I'd pushed myself with the hope and expectation that people would receive. And there would be encounters based off of how long and how far I'd pushed myself. And like yesterday, we went out and kind of just did what we do. And it ended up leading to multiple encounters, got to be a part of people giving their life to Christ and getting baptized and all kinds of awesome stuff leading up with us getting with another ministry and Clearwater that we can now send people to. And just gaining resources. And it just was awesome to be able to finally see the fruits, but it wasn't because we had like strived for it. It was just him giving us what he had already told us he was going to do. Because when we first started going out there, I had mentioned to Brother Neil that I heard God say that we would be out there baptizing people.

And then like I said, yesterday, six people ended up getting baptized. And it was two of them were people that we had encountered. Hallelujah. It was awesome. Amen. Amen, let's get somebody from SOR. Like, I think that I was identified as being a nurse more than I identify with being a child of God. And it's like the culture of nursing is so, if anybody ever is, any nurses in here or anybody in healthcare, it's like you identify as being a nurse as like part of your whole identity. You know, and I think just God is breaking that off of me. And I think at first I was just feeling like scared about it

because I identified so much with that. But I just, if you guys can pray for me about just letting that go and just like coming into full identity with being a child of God. Hallelujah. So that was you earning your wages as a slave is trying to be a nurse and trying to be like the best nurse that you could instead of knowing that you're a son of God or a daughter of God. Exactly. that through her job that you've provided for her, she can display how she is a son of God. Lord, use her mightily. Let her flow from revelation of identity in Jesus' mighty name. Okay, yeah, so for me, like it was, yeah, I definitely was like working for it because like you said, like when you, like in the world, we have to do that. Like we have to work for everything. So that's how I was at first in Christ when I first came. I was just thinking like, I have to read my Bible this much. Like I have to pray for,

especially when it comes like praying in tongues for an hour, I was like, I have to hit an hour in the morning. And if I don't, then I'm not gonna like grow spiritually. And I was like actually beating myself up really bad about it. And it got to a point where I started to burn out. Like I was like, man, like I just feel like I'm just, man, I'm just not there. So I just started to read like identity. I know Pastor Rich was saying one time to like go and chat to TBT and just ask like who I am in Christ. So I started to do that. And a lot of scriptures came up about like who you are in Christ. And I literally, I started to decree and declare that every day. Like I'm part of a royal priesthood, like I'm chosen and all those things. And I don't know how it happened, but I just started to believe that. And I started to just know like, okay, like you said, if I wake up at, if I wanna get up at six and pray. pray, but I don't get up at six and I wake up at six 30. Like God is not like mad at me where he's like, no, you're supposed to get up at six. Like he's more so like, if I can, if I get up and just know, like, man, I'm loved, I'm already chosen. Like, it's kind of like,

always use like a husband and a wife. Like, you know, you're not, you're not trying to work your way to make this person love you. You, you actually like do it because they, you know, they, you, you love them already. And they love you because they do it from a place of like, you know, just being with them, like experiencing them and not more so like, man, I have to do this to make them love me. So it just, it helped me out so much to know that I'm actually adopted. Like I'm actually in his family now. Like I'm not, I don't have to work to be in God's family. Like I'm already in his family. So yeah. Hallelujah. Come on. Praise the Lord. Hey, I love, I love how she said that, that she would wake up, try to pray, pray in tongues an hour, read the word, but then what it causes what? Striving. And the striving made her burnt out. And it literally, but then she caught the revelation. No, I'm a son, I'm already loved. That is the key right there, family. That you don't just strive, cause striving causes burnout.

Thank you for having me here. Come on. He just went to orientation. It been a long time coming. I've been trying to be here for a minute. It's always something happened, but now everything worked out for his time. Come on, man. Come on. Yeah. I can't relate it to that cause I had the same issue. Cause I used to feel like every morning, I would literally waking up seven in the morning, praying, writing scriptures. I would do like two hours. And at night I would do the same thing. I was doing it seven days a week to the point that I started burning myself. Like I was really not spending time with my kids also. Cause I feel like I have to do this. By the time I done do all those readings, studies, I'm go to work. I'm like tired.

I'm like, Lord, I know that's not what you want from me. Like, you know, that's when he said you have to be still till, you know, one day I just stay still asking God, like for real. I don't want to lead in my own understanding. Please lead me. Like, I know I'm trying to please you, but at the same time, I feel like I am overwhelming. Like I'm burning every day. Like that's when he told me be still, you know, take some time. If Jesus had to take rest, so what make you think you don't need to rest, you know? So I was like, literally, man, I was literally fighting myself thinking that if I don't do this every day, I'm breaking a covenants with God. I'm breaking a promising. Like he's going to be mad at me if I skip a day. Even if I'm tired, I just have to keep doing it to prove a point. But till he told me be still, be still. Come on. Hallelujah. Come on, everybody. Everybody stand up. I want to pray. I want us to pray. We're going to pray right now. We're going to close this out with a powerful prayer.

And man, we're not going to strive. We're not going to strive. We're not going to get burnt out. We're not going to do this because we feel obligated. No, we're going to do this from sonship. We're going to do this from identity. We're not going to be orphans. Everybody have your eyes closed right now. Just receive this in your heart as the Holy Spirit bears witness with your spirit that you are a son of God. Father, we thank you, Lord, that we're not going to strive. We thank you, Lord, that we're not going to burn out. We thank you, Father, that we're not going to, we're not going to try to earn your love. God, you already love us. You already love us. Everybody say, I'm loved. You already love us, Lord. You already love us. We are your sons and daughters. We have sonship and revelation. Father, I pray, Holy Spirit, I pray that you bear witness with everyone's spirit under the sound of my voice that they know that they are sons of God. And prayer, worship, reading is going to come from overflow of identity. It's going to come because they know that they are sons of God

and they just want to see more of your goodness, Lord. Thank you that it's the goodness of God that brings us to repentance. And they know that they're sons of God and a father that loves them, that loves them, that loves them and let that love, that revelation of your love for them, that goodness of God, bring all those to repentance. Father, we pray right now for an empowerment to not strive, to not continue, to work for your acceptance and let us rest in the revelation that we're already accepted. Father, we thank you, we love you, we glorify you. In Jesus' name and the church says together. Amen, come on, give Jesus some praise.
