Destroying the Orphan Mindset | Part 2
"Destroying the Orphan Mindset — Part 2"
Building on the foundation laid in Part 1, Pastor Rich moves from recognizing the orphan mindset to actively dismantling it. The heart of this message is that identifying the orphan patterns is only the beginning — true freedom comes when those lies are replaced with the truth of who God says we are. Pastor Rich contrasts the orphan and the son: where the orphan strives, the son rests; where the orphan fears rejection, the son walks secure in belonging; where the orphan competes to earn love, the son already possesses it. The teaching calls believers to renounce the old patterns, receive the Father's love as the source of their identity, and step into the inheritance that comes with being a son or daughter. Part 2 drives toward transformation — not just understanding the orphan mindset, but being set free from it to live as a secure, established heir in the household of God.
you you you you you you you you you you you you Man Philly was powerful guys It's powerful God moved for real The we got delayed for like six hours at the airport We actually had to a bunch of stuff happened with the flight We had to drive at 7 in the morning Dylan had to come pick us up and take us all the way to Tampa Airport We got there six hour delay. So it was six hours of evangelism and It was like man so many powerful encounters. I mean God moved then got to got to Philly Went straight to Kensington and man, it really broke our heart to see what's happening out there anybody from Philly Other than Jesse No, anybody ever been to Philly? Yeah Yeah, man, it's it's sad Kensington is like it's it's it's bad. It's pretty bad it's there's a lot of drugs out there and a lot of people a lot of sons and daughters and brothers and sisters Just out there just gone and We got to preach to a lot of people crazy encounters so many crazy encounters People that were on you know rehab for months and months and months
Came out there that exact day to relapse and God brought us out there to just give a word of knowledge And then they went they left. I mean it happened so many times. I mean we saw a guy Almost die in front of us of overdose He actually passed out Where his friends came in that his friends that are drug addicts They got they got fearful because they knew what was happening. They're checking his pulse and everything and we just started praying He started moving and then I think a little bit later he got up So that was powerful. Um You know, there's a lot of witchcraft out there. That's the spirit that was controlling Philly. But um Yeah, there's there was both Anika's witchcraft stores on every block. We invaded a bunch powerful encounters in there the the one of the the spots the warlocks let us Let us pray over the whole spot and the and the love of God dropped. It was crazy. It was powerful That was in the streets of Kensington we partnered with a ministry out there city reach they're really like us It's a remnant army bunchy a bunch of on fire people We felt at home. We didn't have to do anything super honorable. They had they had a prayer team of people who operate in deliverance They had the greeters at the door on fire turned up They had four five baptism tubs filled up ready to go productions team was on point. We just got there We just showed up. They had a bunch of you know charcuterie type of things and boards and Soda water galore. It was it was fun. And I'm their worship team is fire for real. They got like 80 people on their worship team Yeah They're plugged in with upper room and all that stuff like they're like they're mentored by some people and It was like their worship teams fire angle. I it was good. We felt comfortable. We felt at home Their pastor their lead pastor and on and on his wife super humble I've been doing it for a long time took us in like family took us in like sons and just loved on us, man And um, yeah, it was powerful At the Met we got the Met the Met is like it's supposed to be like 20 30, whatever It's a thousand dollars a night, but they're they're plugged in with the people who own the Met and we didn't pay a dollar Yeah
They paid for our flights they paid for the hotel they pay like we just yeah, we were chilling it was God You God will honor you how you honor others, right? So They just gave us that freedom to move and we just evangelized man for like It felt like a like this, but we were just in the field man God was moving. We got a bunch of footage at Kensington the airport the botanica's and then the the We have like four documentaries we're gonna be editing to postman. It was it was fire and we're gonna definitely be back to Philly Um, but at the revival people came hungry before like I'm talking about half the people came in and they just had like Regular worship like 2019 upper room like playing and people were up Worshipping like like it already started. Nobody was even on nobody was even on the altar People came hungry. They were already at the altar They were already there like flooded and the Friday night was packed out it was crazy. I Don't even know how many souls got saved. It was too many to count before we even announced that there's baptisms. I got out there After I announced it and they said there's already been 30 baptisms People were so hungry. They just went and got baptized. It's crazy We Saw a lot of the a lot of deliverance where God really showed up in power like just people just As I began to preach Demons were getting casted out without that and it really brought the fear of the Lord on that place Like a lot of people who've never seen that they saw it. They saw it that night We didn't send nobody to the back. We let the deliverance happen right there and They needed it Philly needed it a lot of religion preached a good word We broke that Python spirit in the atmosphere the Lord showed me that he wanted to birth something on July 4th In the womb of America, but on Friday He wanted to break something first because before something's before a baby's born has the water has to break and it was that Python spirit So and also in the streets of Kensington on the microphone because they had the speaker in the microphone They were street preaching the church. We were with I Took the microphone and prayed over the atmosphere and because they call it a zombie land
They call that zombie land if you got yeah, I know Skrilla a rapper that demonic God bless him. He's gonna guess you're gonna get saved, but he's a little is a full-blown warlock He on his best friend. I met his best friend out there and we actually had a full-blown conversation and everything he followed me on Instagram and because he wasn't there but It's just they call it a zombie land So I declared that it's Jesus's land and then as they were all there all of them Drug dealers were out there telling us that we can't be on the block like crazy stuff It's open-air drug market. It's like in your face like it's not hidden It's really really bad. So we just went out there. We did we prayed over the land We evangelized people got set free people got touched a lot of divine encounters And a lot of them actually came to the revival I saw young kids on fire just wanted to get filled with the Holy Spirit Like six-year-olds being touched by the presence of God shaken eight-year-olds. I Saw people that can't that were in wheelchairs get baptized. I saw People get healed. That's I mean we saw we saw we saw a lot of great things man. People gave up witchcraft people gave up drugs Yeah a lot and we had a we had one good Philly cheesesteak Yeah, I've had Geno's and Pat's That was really really bad So we had a really bad one, but the first night we had a really good one Thank God, you know for Claude and chat GPT because I looked it up on there and brought me to the perfect spot But now it was fire. It was great. I had a good time And when we got there there was a heat wave that hit the city a Literal heat wave it was like over a hundred and three degrees the entire time. I'm talking about even at night. It was hot Drink a lot of water. Thank God. We're in shape didn't affect us kept going and it was great. So man got moved He the footage that's gonna be posted is gonna touch a lot of people. We're gonna give a different perspective on Kensington it's not gonna just be people out there on loss we're gonna actually fire up the body of Christ to go out there and start praying for people and I believe that with the Lord show me this in the next three years. It's not gonna be Kensington
Zombieland it's gonna be gentrified a completely different place with ministries all over and and yeah And again, it's not because we went out there. It's been happening. They've been laboring for over ten years It's been there's there's churches out there. There's people fighting in the field that are constantly fighting so we just went there and just did our part and Man, it guy's gonna just continue to do what he needs to do. Amen So it was powerful and the church their church was extremely edified. They were really really encouraged I mean the pastor's wife the pastor and the pastor's wife were in the field of Kensington Pastor's wife was casting demons out lady throwing up and everything on the street. So I mean their real deal man It was a great great great time with all new family new connections And we're gonna work on we're going to California in August, San Diego, more than likely we're gonna be going to LA as well. That's gonna be good. And yeah, we're just slowly planning things as the Lord leads. So as we have these revivals, if the Lord puts it on your heart to come, come pull up and come help out. Means, you know, it's not cheap, but if the Lord leads, he's gonna provide, right? It's a good time. I mean, we see it every time, every Sunday here, but it's pretty cool to go to a different region where people have never seen it, where they've never seen deliverance. They've never seen people get healed or they've never seen an altar call with, you know, a hundred people getting saved. They've never seen that. It's mind blowing.
And people just encounter God. It's refreshing. It's beautiful. Amen. I believe tonight's gonna be powerful. I can feel it. When we were out in Philly, I was feeling that stirring in my stomach. I'm like, ooh, Sunday's gonna be crazy. I feel it. It's gonna be good. All right. So, yeah, and I missed my beautiful wife the entire time. I wanted to come home. I miss my wife and kids. Jerrell was telling me, he was like, Rich, if you were single, we wouldn't go home. I was like, nope. We'd be in New York City the next day and then keep going. But I had to get back to my wife. Did you miss me? I did. I did miss you. Every time you leave, I miss you, but I know you're doing the Lord's work, so. Yeah, she prayed for me. She intercedes for me. She's a real one. Amen? Real one.
I got a sniper on my side. Fully supportive. She's not nagging me while I'm out there. Not for real. She's my peace. Keeps me, keeps me, encouraging me, taking care of the kids, sending me videos of the kids so I miss them even more. On purpose. It wasn't on purpose. Malba, I love my wife, man. Y'all ready? All right, we're gonna get into part number what? Two. Okay, part number one was powerful. Y'all remember that? A lot of people call it breakthrough, deliverance, healing, all that, right? All right, so part two, we're gonna talk about, babe, are you there? Yeah, two sons, one spirit. Teaching two? Let's see, yes. Am I at the right one? Yeah. Yes, ma'am. Two sons, one spirit. We're gonna be reading from Luke chapter 15, verses 11 through 32. SOR, what's up, family?
We're gonna get you guys on in a second, so make sure you stay locked in. I will say my apologies if I knew people from SOR were going to the Philly revival. I would have had a meetup, spoke to the SOR team. We apologize, and for Cali, we will do better. So if y'all pull up to Cali, we will have a SOR meetup before the revival so I can hang out with you guys, chop it up with you guys, pray with you guys, get in the Word, probably go to a coffee shop or something like that, so. Yeah, for Cali, we're gonna be out there. We're gonna link up with you guys. Amen? All right, so two sons, one spirit. Gabi, you wanna start off? Yeah. Amen. Luke chapter 15, verse 12 says, and the younger of them said to his father, father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me. So he divided to them his livelihood. Watch the orphan spirit being born in real time. The younger son looks at his father and sees a resource, not a relationship. Give me my portion. Let's stop right there. So we know what we're talking about here, right? The story of the prodigal son. This is speaking about which son?
The what? The younger son. Was he happy? Was he happy? He felt some type of way. Why did he feel some type of way? He felt entitled. What else? He was there the whole time and he felt like what? Bitter? Rejected? What was he displaying? The orphan spirit. Who was worse, the prodigal son or his brother? The brother. Why was the brother worse? Because the whole time he was doing things in performance. So God, he wants real. Does he want you to be rebellious? No, but he can work with somebody who's real about what they want, even though if it's wrong, he can work with somebody, but he doesn't like you. It's not his nature. to act like you know him or you're doing it for him, but you really aren't. That's religion. That's religion, right? He went to the prostitutes, he went to the drunkards, he went to the worst of the worst, and the Pharisees couldn't understand it.
So you see in the scripture, and the younger of them said to his father, father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me. So he divided them to his livelihood. Look, watch the orphan spirit being born in real time. The younger looks at his father and sees resource, not relationship. Give me my portion. And that culture asking for your inheritance while your father was alive was like, I wish you were dead, I want what's yours. That's the orphan heart exactly. It wants the father's blessings, but not the father's face. It was the hand of God, not the heart of God. And the moment he got the goods, he left, because he never actually wanted his father just the father's resources. This was actually the younger son who left and took the goods, right? In the Greek, the word for goods is the word osia, which means he wanted the father's osia, not the father himself. The livelihood in the Greek is bios, which is literally the father, the dividing up his life. So orphans take from the father's hand and run from the father's face. Man, that's so good. So the first son, the younger son, I'm sorry, he wanted the stuff and he ran away. The second son was working for the father,
wanted things from the father, but was doing it from a place of religion where he thought what he was doing earned, what he was doing allowed him to receive, he deserved what he was doing, not from a place of knowing that it's given to him by grace, but from a place of like Cain doing it from a heart posture of religion. You see Cain, Abel, you see Peter, Judas, the younger son, the older son. It's a constant theme throughout the scriptures where God shows you the flawed one, the rebellious one, but really has a heart for God, willing to repent, and then the one who thinks they deserve everything who doesn't wanna repent. But in this scripture, again, I'm sorry, it's speaking about the younger son who wanted from the father and took what he took and left, didn't want the father's face, wanted what the father could give him. Make sense? How many times have you wanted something from God, but you didn't want God himself? I've done it so many times. There's been times where I pray and I'm praying and I'm praying and I feel like I'm praying from a place of knowing God, but I'm praying for things that I want and the Lord convicts me and says, hey, stop praying for you and start just praying
and blessing me and just wanting me. And that's really when I get humbled, I get to a place of humility where I get lowly and say, God, I'm realizing that for the last week, my heart hasn't been postured like it should be because usually it's not just a five minute thing, it's a cultivation of an attitude that I haven't really recognized that's been happening subconsciously that leads to that revelation in the secret place where I'm like, oh my God, this entire week, even though I've been praying and reading, I really have been doing it for myself. Maybe not like 100%, but there's a part of my heart where I'm like, ew. Ever felt that in the secret place? Where you just go, ew, you ever felt that? And you're like, ugh, like, why am I like this? Wanna talk about that? I was just thinking about this this morning in the secret place, because I've been lately finding myself, you know how sometimes you feel like I gotta go to the secret place, I gotta hit my prayer list, I gotta make sure I intercede for da, da, da, da, and it becomes like a list that you're doing, and sometimes you can feel like the pressure of like, oh my gosh, I have to make sure I pray like this secret place where I prayed this decree
because if I don't, I've kind of been getting into like a motion, this has been for a while now, but I was thinking about it this morning of just talking to the Father, like just really just putting the worship instrumental, beginning on my face, literally on my face in my little corner closet, and just praying in tongues, and then I'll start talking, and then I'll start praying in tongues again, and then I'll start talking, and then I'll pray, and then I'll worship, and then I'll start talking, and then when I feel like I'm done like having a conversation with the Lord, then I hit my prayer list. Like I was talking to him for like 45 minutes this morning, and then I was just like, thinking about it as I'm reading my prayer list, and I was just like, Lord, you really enjoy when I just talk to you, because I was thinking about the night, the day before, like Thursday night, I was taking a shower, and I was like, Lord, I really want I asked him for something right and I said I want it like this this this this and this you know and I'm just gonna leave it up leave it in your hands you're gonna take care of it the next day I got everything that I asked him for like literally everything and I was thanking him in the secret place this morning and I was just like I wasn't even like praying so deep in
the spirit I wasn't praying a scripture I decree and declare I was just like Lord and that's exactly what you're saying it's like seeking the father's face not just wanting the thing for myself but I was just seeking his face like God you care for me and you love me and I don't want to stress but this is what I'm asking for you say ask and you shall receive I'm just gonna leave it up to you and I didn't realize I was getting everything I was asking until this morning I was like oh my goodness every single thing I asked you when I was taking a shower on Friday on Thursday night you give it to me Friday morning I was like what was the difference and it was just because it was so intentional with him it was just like I was just like share it's like what you were saying like that connection with the father that you're just like you and I are one and I'm just talking to you like a friend right it's not like well I gotta pray the scripture so I can get it I gotta decree it this way I gotta sound a certain way I gotta make sure I stay like this for 30 minutes I gotta but that's not what God wants God wants a relationship with you because then when you when you have something then you're just gonna be just like you know not not saying to anyone that here but this is what happens right you become like the younger son you just take it and then you go off and then now you have to come back and repent because you just spent everything because you didn't you weren't grateful for everything that the father gave you because you didn't receive it from relationship you receive it from you thinking that you deserve it well I deserve this you know and so this morning it wasn't like coming from a place where I deserve it and that's why you gave it to me it was coming from coming from a place of wow you love me so much that I asked you so calmly and then you just handed it to me the next day you know what I mean and so then you appreciate it even more you know what I'm saying yeah so good it's like us not controlling but us trusting yeah like a slave controls but a son trusts I've been on both sides where I feel like I have to control the situation and it's usually never conscious it's something that starts brewing up in my heart that I think is of God until it gets to a point where what starts coming out is not the fruit of the spirit which could be fear usually it's fear and I start realizing what I'm feeling right now is not God like why am I feeling this and I and then at that moment I realize I have not been trusting I've been trying to control this situation by doing it on my own instead of trusting God I feel like there's something we always go through huh I feel like a lot of all of us do we always go through that in every situation it's like God has to show us a new like well in our heart that he wants to like dig up and replace a new place that like
we've been depending on in our heart that God wants to just fill with his living water instead of the wrong water you know yeah that living water I preached on that on Saturday where you'll never thirst again that living water is what gives us the fuel and the desire to even ask rightly that's what I feel like you're saying yeah you spoke to him the living water fueled you and then you asked from a place of trust because you were filled with him yeah I don't even think we can ask God for anything rightly unless we're in his presence but and you know what's crazy is that I was taking a shower and it like it's because then you think you know like you have to worship to get into his presence I have to pray in tongues for an hour against his presence those things do happen but sometimes you worship and you pray in tongues for an hour and you still are not in his presence because it wasn't coming from a place of being filled with that living water you know what I'm saying coming from a place of identity is where I'm trying to because how do you get filled with that living water when you know your identity when you know who resides inside of you you have living you know the spirit of the living God who gives you living water living inside of you so then you you pray with that identity when you pray with identity you can get anything you want you can ask for something and you will receive it because you're asking from a place of a son and a daughter and a son and a daughter inherits everything that the father has right so it's that it's that it's that identity place like Lord I'm your daughter I'm over here stressing out I don't want to stress out this is what I want this is what my husband wants please give it to me and then he gave it to me and it's just because like because I'm his daughter and he cares but I didn't I didn't have to pray for an hour I didn't and I'm not saying anything wrong with prayer For an hour or whatever, but it's just that intentionality and coming from a place of identity when you pray with identity Oh, man, you break things in the spirit. Yeah praying from a place of identity is praying from a revelation of God's will Yeah, it's like my son like Richard our son asking us that I want to go to Target and get a toy for no reason I don't want it. I don't want I don't I don't want him to but if he says dad I got an a on my test today. I did this it did it. I've been doing this I love you so much dad and I did and I want to get a toy because this toy I can share with Jeremiah and Like and he has revelation of my will for why I want him to get a toy Or what what pleases me because I know my son is connected to my heart. It gives me more of a Also a desire to want to
To want to bless him. Yeah. Yeah, and I would say not even just a desire but more of a more of a Acceptance of it because I want to make sure my son is Receiving it from a place of revelation. So he's not receiving it from the wrong place. Yeah, because then he can get spoiled Yeah, I don't want my son to get spoiled and think that a toy is just a toy because then eventually he's gonna want something more Yeah, because one kid could have a toy a five dollar toy and look at it Like it's the it's the best thing ever because he earned it from doing something Well, or another kid could look at it as just five dollars play for it with one for one day and just throw it away That's coming from a place of relationship It's like you're having a relationship when you have a relationship with your son Then your son knows what's gonna please you and then you're like in return pleasing your son because of that relationship It's like our three knowing. Hey, my dad's just not gonna give me a toy just because Right, and he's he's showed me that I need to share or it's better to give than to receive So that I want to go to Target to buy a toy because I want to give it to somebody at church You know what? I'm saying? It becomes also a memory. Yeah Like a memory of like when I look at an item I look at it and remember what happened God wants that for us, too Yeah, he doesn't want us to just want to just give us things so we can have it because then we'll never be fulfilled Yeah, but imagine when God gives us something where he's like, hey, here's my daughter I want you to marry and there's a whole history behind it of sacrifice and obedience and there's a memory behind it So when you do get married, you're like man God Wow That it wasn't just handed to me like whatever like God you you put me through a process like I truly was rewarded by you Like I was rewarded by you father. And now I look at your daughter I see something like so much different than just oh, you're just my wife like even our marriage I look at everything that God has done in our marriage and it gives me More hope faith assurance just more appreciation for you because of all the history we have with God I don't even care about what happened in the world. Like that's just a testimony, I guess Yeah, like I don't ever look back at the worldly things we did and think oh man, I missed that It's actually embarrassing sometimes, right? But now like in Christ, we always talk about memories that we've have to we've had together where we've experienced God
yeah, and that's why God wants to reward us from a place of experience and not just Here you go like an orphan an orphan just wants it for their own desires control But God wants us wants us to look at it differently from a place of trust Yes from a place of trust like like that He's Jaira like from a place of he knows exactly what you need he knows exactly what you want like he knows exactly how how to continue to build that relationship because When you trust in that situation when you're like man I don't know how this is going to end up and you trust and he gives you the solution then the next time you're praying For something you're just gonna trust from the beginning like you're just gonna be like, you know what? He's the same dad that was with me like a month ago or two months ago when I prayed for such-and-such even though it Took me like three months to pray and actually trust him now It's only gonna take me three days or now it's gonna only gonna take me three minutes To trust him in prayer and just leave it alone and that hilt he'll make away, right? So it's like building that trust in that relationship. It's like a trial like when we go through a trial We want the trial to end Instead of saying God, what are you showing me in this trial? Because we want it like God just come through and we're declaring scriptures Just this thing will end like or how about this? I'm praying for my son or my father or whatever to get saved Lord save their soul But it's like God, what are you trying to show me in this like where can you work on my heart? What can I like what's going on here? There's something that you can show me So it's where I see this differently, I'm not I don't just want something from you from you like you're far away Just save my father. Okay, go back to your throne, right? That's an orphan mentality. Exactly. It's like no you're inside of me. You're with me There's a process where you're gonna produce something in me through this the suffering of wanting my father to be saved could just to be simply me having a revelation of intercession, interceding with your heart, and you're preparing me for this call all my life through the praying for my father,
as I see how this prayer is not matching with your heart, but this is fasting, praying, sacrifice. I'm learning all these things, so when my father gets saved, now many get saved. Because now I have a revelation of God's heart for intercession. What is God trying to show us in every trial we're going through because it's actually preparing us for a call? So I'm gonna ask that, two people, what trial are you going through right now where God has actually shown you, you haven't made it through the trial yet, you're going through it, what has God shown you this trial is gonna produce? I don't know where the microphone's at, who got the microphone? Okay. Right now I chose to move back with my dad to help him out and sold off my house to help him out with his house because he's having severe mold issues and it's gonna cost thousands of dollars to replace and repair, so all the money from my house went to him and I'm dealing with my stepmom and she's very, very bitter towards me even though I'm the one that has the right to be bitter. I just chose to remain silent in all them attacks and just keep doing what I do,
helping my dad, helping her wherever possible, just showing the love of Christ and every single time she's come back within hours and said, you know what, I was wrong, I'm sorry, and it's producing fruit in the sense that it's causing her to evaluate herself spiritually and it's causing her to reflect on why it is that she feels the way she feels towards me because I'm no longer the person that she once hated and because I'm no longer that person, I'm not able to hate her. Is she a believer? Is she a believer? She is a believer. Awesome, this is good. She's going through discipleship because of your love. And that's it. You know, it's like once I get my place together because I'm putting an RV together in the backyard, once I get my RV together, I'm planning on doing Bible studies with them. Come on, bro. And I'm going in that way there. And I believe God's producing. He's producing much more than that. Yeah, yeah, precisely. Much more than that. Precisely. And it was like an answer to a prayer
because when I had my accident, I knew it was an all or nothing for my dad and her to both start going to church because one wasn't going to happen without the other. So that was my prayer, Lord, bring them back. Bring them back. And they both attend church on a weekly basis. They're friends with my pastor there and I've introduced them to and other godly men that I've introduced them to. So they're building relationships, which is building accountability and it's encouraging change. And that's pretty cool part, you know, because two years ago, this woman would have never walked up to me and apologized for anything. So like- Holy Spirit conviction. It is, it is. And it's just by remaining faithful and quiet, I don't respond. I don't give anger, no matter how bad I want to. I might get in my car and grumble as I'm driving away, but I don't do it in front of them. And I just remain silent. And I know it's the Holy Spirit because it's bringing transformation. Follow the lead of Christ.
He didn't defend himself. And he says that we're not to defend ourselves. Just remain mute. Proud of you, bro. Proud of you, bro. That's powerful. That's encouraging. Let's get somebody from SOR. Oh. Something happened to the Zoom. They're fixing it. Okay. Let's get somebody in here. No worries. One more person, then we'll continue. Hallelujah, man. Thank you for the trials, Lord. Don't let us miss anything in these trials, Lord. Right there. She has the mic. Okay. Okay, is it on? Is it working? Sorry. So right now I'm dealing with a separation from my children. They've actually been removed. DCF is falsifying documents with me and a lot of parents. It seems to be a lot of people that are believers or have Christ-like morals that they're doing this to. But I know, I remember I said at the beginning
that people were like, is this testing your faith? Is it gonna make you... and I steer away from God, and I was like, no. I knew that God was gonna place my children wherever he needed them to be, and it's just like showing me so much. Like, I still don't have my children back. They're still trying to keep them away from me, but it's just making me learn that like, I really have to be like as holy as possible. Like, even if I steer away from God, you know, Jesus, for even like a half a day, I'll feel my mindset just like spiral down like so quickly, and then I'll start getting that fear that he's not gonna bring them back home, and it's also just showing me that, like I knew since I was a little girl, I always had a plan to like save the world, but I can't save the world, only Jesus can, so it's just showing that he wants me to be very powerful in his kingdom, and he just keeps leading me like more and more into the most like powerful places with his spirit, so. And I mean, there's so much more that he's shown me. It's also shown me, like somebody had said, like once you get baptized in the name of Jesus, and it's genuine, that like he will always bring you back, and my son, like they won't even let my son really talk about Jesus, so like for a couple visits, like my son wasn't the same,
but then like there'll be some visits, like the last one I saw my son, he looked at me, he's like, mommy, did you eat today? And I actually, I didn't eat like at all that day, and I lied to my son, I was like, yeah, I ate, I don't want none, but my son is like, here, mommy, eat ice cream, so like I'm seeing my son like, you know, coming back, and my son asked me on his own last year to be baptized without me even talking to him about it, and I asked him why, and he said, because I want Jesus to wash away my wrongs, so it's just building my trust in him even more, and my love for him, and I mean, he's great, like even throughout all this, like I could still be happy and come here and just be high on the Holy Spirit. Amen, amen. Amen. Amen. Yeah, what I believe is happening, like you said, is like the trust, the dependency, and God is actually, he's working on your heart through this so he can clean some things out. God doesn't want this to happen to you, he didn't want your children to be taken from you, but you know, a lot of times, majority of the time, you know, we kind of reap what we sow, like things that we've done, and then God is there like, come on,
even though you've done this and you've sown this, I'm here, and I'm gonna get you through this, and you're gonna see that what the enemy meant for evil, we're gonna use for the saving of souls, many lives, not just for good, but for the saving of many lives, like Genesis talks about, so yeah, just remember that, like it might hurt, like I hear in your voice, it sounds like you're going through spiritual surgery, as a mother, it's not easy to lose your children, not lose them, but temporarily not be with them, because you haven't lost them, and then even have the falsification of documents, potentially, and all these things, just remember not to be bitter, remember to see the spiritual aspect of things, like don't look at the physical, the devil wants you to focus on the physical, focus on the spiritual, like you said, and aligning with God's word, always follow God's word in every, your every day, every day, through everything, what is God's word on this situation? I don't wanna go off my opinions and my emotions, what is your word? And when your word says this, but I'm feeling this, it's an opportunity for me to die, for God to fill more of my heart, to deliver me, to heal me, and let God do the spiritual surgery, because those things in your heart,
is probably what's caused so much more other things, that led up to this, so God doesn't just want your kids to come back, he wants to get to the root of why they even were taken, and that's what he's doing in your heart right now, and it hurts, but trust me, the maturity that's gonna come from it, is gonna, he's gonna do so many things at once, look at your son talking about Jesus, he's gonna do so many things at once, and you're gonna see later on, like man, thank God for the trial, thank God, right, like that's what we have to say, is thank God for the trial, can we get somebody from SOR? Yeah, somebody has their hand up, I don't know who, but someone has their hand up. What's his name? Hey, Chris, can you hear us? Yeah, I hear you guys. Okay, you're unmuted, go ahead and share. Oh, okay, yeah, so. I guess, um, when I first got saved, I was like still in that officer that you guys were saying, like, I'm gonna be with you guys as a, as a father, like, I was kind of just, kind of like, acting up based on fear, I guess, like, oh, like, God, I gotta, I gotta do this now, I gotta do that now, and it was just like, I don't know, I guess I was just acting like that, until I actually went to a gathering that you guys had recently in Orlando, and, you know, through that, I was, I was praying, like, God, I need you to imbue me, like, imbues me however way you want for your will to be done, for me to tell people my testimony, or tell them, and, you know, I was just acting based on fear, basically, I guess, and then I met a brother over there, he told me about the orphan spirit, and he's just like, yo, man, like, you can't really look at him like that, like, you have to just look at him like your dad, because that's who it is, it's like, your dad loves you, and, you know, from now, here on out, I've just been, like, catching myself every day now, and it's been getting better and better, like, yeah, you know what, you're right, Father, like, I trust in you, I'm not gonna try to force anything, or try to do anything like that, like, I'm just gonna trust in you, and I'm gonna just walk with you, because I'm walking in obedience now, because I love you, because I love that you saved me, and you delivered me from all these things, so, I think that's very important for us to walk like that, and not to walk based out of fear, but also fear, fear God, because, like, you know, we go back to those things, we know what's gonna happen, so, but at the same time, he's a loving Father. Amen, my brother, amen, that's powerful, come on, let's go. Let's go.
So, an orphan would rather be a slave he can control than a son he has to trust, so it says again in Luke 15, 18, I will arise and go to my father and will say to him, make me like one of your hired servants, so he went from taking the inheritance and dipping, to I'm gonna come back and just be a slave, so even on the way home, the orphan mind is still running, he rehearses a speech, make me a hired servant, he'd rather earn, look at this, he'd rather earn his keep as a worker than receive his place as a son, because a servant knows the terms, a servant, look at this, a servant knows the terms, a servant can earn it, a servant never has to risk being loved, so that's so good. If we can earn everything from God and never actually have to trust that God just loves us, we'll stay in that mindset and always be an earn-based mentality. Like you said, like, simply because you just spoke to God from a place of revelation, you, he gave you what you asked. I think God is really saying to us today, like, he wants us to know that he, that he wants us to have the things that we're asking for, that align with his will, and that when we align our heart with his love and his desire, that's how it flows. I don't think it can flow any other way. Yeah, I mean, it all, it all comes down to like identity, knowing your son and a daughter, and having a relationship with the father as a son and a daughter, because even with you reading this, I was, I was thinking about, you know, me talking to the Lord, because what I, what I, what, what I, what he, I guess, rewarded us with, the family, because not just for me, it was for the family, right? On Friday, it's something that I had been praying for, for like two months now, but I wasn't praying from a place of identity, and so the things that I was praying for, I was working hard for, like, I was like being a slave, like going to see different places, and all this, it was, it was like a place, you know, a place for us to live, right? And so, and, and, and, but I, it never, like, it never happened, because it was coming from a place of like, like, like a slave mentality, like, I actually have to put the work in to get what I'm asking for, right? And that's like that slave mentality that, you know, the son that, who didn't see himself as a son was going through, it's like, okay, I'm an orphan, but then it's like, he skipped a son, and now he wants to be a slave, because he feels so condemned about what he did, so that's what the orphan spirit will do, is make you feel like, oh my gosh, I messed up, right? I was operating an orphan spirit, I was, you know, performing, or I was competing, or I wasn't seeking the father, and then you skip the identity portion, and you go straight into, okay, well, now I'm gonna be a slave, and I'm gonna work for God to love me, I'm gonna be a slave, and I'm just gonna do everything he tells me to do, because I messed up so bad, skipping the identity,
skipping everything that Jesus did on the cross, because Jesus, when he died on the cross, he gave us identity, he gave us his blood, he told us, you're a son, you're a daughter, he put a crown on our heads, right? And literally, that's what happened. to the younger son. Instead of the father saying, okay, yeah, become a slave, the father said, no, no, no, no. We're gonna throw a party. You know, we're gonna give you the fine clothing. We're gonna, I'm gonna put a ring on your finger. We're gonna, you know, kill the biggest calf and we're gonna throw a party. It's the father saying like, no, you don't gotta go straight from orphan all the way to slave. No, stay in the identity of a son. Stay in the identity of a daughter because that's what the orphan mindset will cause you to think about. Like, man, I messed up so bad and now you're going to that condemning state, but that's not what God wants for you. So it was never about the inheritance, like the money. It was about the covenant with his father. So I'm thinking like, if the only time we feel like we're loved by God is when we, when everything is going well, that'll be the only time we feel like, like we're a son or a daughter.
So just think about it. Even if you've messed up and there's consequences, it doesn't mean you're not a daughter or a son of the king because it's never about the consequence or the reward. It's about the covenant you have with God, regardless of what comes. And that's why he got, he was given the robe, the party was thrown. He still squandered the inheritance. He still squandered it. He still lost it all. But God was showing us in those scriptures that it was always about the covenant. That was the most important thing to begin with. So good. That you're supposed to receive the financial inheritance after the father passes away. So the father was just trying to show him like, I love you, I forgive you, you're good. It was never even about the money. Like, yes, I rewarded you with this. You messed it up, but it doesn't even matter to me. What you did with that inheritance didn't even matter to me. And to begin with, the entire time, all he wanted him to know was you're in covenant with me. I love you. And that's all that God wants us to know. But we can't look at God's love from a place of what we earn. We can't, because the Bible says
we'll go through many trials. The Bible says, like Paul said, he had a lot and a little bit. I mean, bro, you look at the scriptures, they went through crazy things. The only reason they were able to go through these things and continue to praise God is because they knew it had nothing to do with what they were going through. It had everything to do with this. Man, that's so good. That's the key to everything is covenant with God. We cannot let situations shift us from who we are in him. We can't let it shift us from who we are as sons and daughters. Yeah. Does this make sense? Yep. Man, the enemy wants to attack our feelings, huh? It's always the feelings. It's the emotions. Right here, right? It's the emotions. If you feel like you get yanked, like you're getting hit. Yeah. But how do you fight back with those hits? The word of God. Don't you feel like literally like oil or like medicine the minute you start declaring who you are? Yes.
And it's like, it shoots back. Yeah, yeah. Like it's a war of spiritual things. Yeah, it's the feelings, because even after like having the surgery and being good, just last week, it was just like the enemy threw a fiery dart, like, oh, but you see, you still had to remove your breasts and dah, dah, dah. And it's like, it's like, I had to literally be like out of my mouth, like I'm a daughter, I'm alive, I'm saved. I'm filled with his spirit. You know, I could raise my children. Like a boob is nothing. Like I have breath in my lungs, but it's because the enemy knew I really did not want to do that. So he really tried. Like I literally felt like a dart, like a really disgusting dart. And I had to start declaring like my identity, like no. And then boom, it was gone. But when he throws that fiery dart, if you start meditating on it, then you start feeling it. It's the feelings. The moment you start feeling what he's saying, then now it's like, oh, you know, you start feeling like you have a weight dragging you
because of those feelings. It's the feelings. Yeah, he attacks expectations. The devil loves to attack expectations. Things that we can draw up in our heart that we want in a situation, he loves to attack that and remind us, look, you didn't get what you thought you were gonna get. Yes, oh my gosh. Instead of I'm a daughter of the king or I'm a son of the king. And I don't care what would have happened. From the beginning, I said this when I was at the lowest place in my secret place, I didn't know what to do. I said, God, regardless of what happens, I'm not gonna stop serving you. I said, God wanted you the entire time. That's where he always wants us is right there. Stay right there so I can lift you higher. Humble yourself and stay right there so I can take you places because. It's like through the hardships it teaches us because when things do come he doesn't want to lose us Yes, you know, you know who told me that Chanel I will never forget the day She told me that her harvest time She was like, you know, you're praying for it But God is not giving it to you right now because he doesn't want to lose you She told me that and it stuck with me. I remember I was telling you that the other day I was like Chanel one of those words that you said to me stuck with me the whole three and a half years like like
There's a reason like he's not gonna lose me. You know what I mean? So it's it's it's crazy. It's just that it's Literally just that that the Lord just wants you to just be like Lord I already got everything anyways, like I got your spirit and I got you. I don't need nothing else What's the fuel source for your emotions? Think about it is the fuel source for my emotions 3,000 people coming to a revival Did that fuel me up to be like God you love me? No, it didn't It didn't it was it was cool and it was fired and I and I looked at it more as it's gonna encourage our church And other people who need to see that type of stuff to be like wow like amen like praise God But what like, you know, what fueled me is that he promised me for these last two months when lawyers were sending like letters to our house about the Met the stadium saying You can't rent out the Met and all these things were happening and I was we were going through warfare And we're going through all these things battling and I'm like man That's not even me who rented out the Met like what the heck bro Like I'm going through all these things and and the Lord, you know, he told me I actually and I'm telling Mia Let's look for other spots in Philly and she can't find anything and we're thinking and I'm in the Lord says in prayer You will have the Met Don't worry about how it's gonna happen and told me to stop Yeah, and to stop and to stop and I didn't stop and so eventually I stopped and I said God, I'm gonna I'm gonna go to Philly and whatever happens happens and Bro, everything was perfect that right there his promise being kept that meant a lot to me That was like though. Oh my god. I trust you even more Yes, and then it lets everything else powerful, but that was my test Like that was my intimate thing where I was like God Dang, bro. You really are all powerful for real Sending crazy letters all crazy like legal letters and talking to the lawyers and legal battles with other Ministries within not even that nothing even has to do with us that we get caught up in a whole mess And God sent us into the mess Isn't that crazy
I'm thinking the devil's hitting me with all things you see 5,000 people showed up and you're not gonna be able to go into the man You're gonna be in the streets and then they're gonna come arrest you and I'm thinking oh my god You don't have an event permit. Look at you. Look at you. I'm just thinking like God got me Tried everything I could you say you said it was a whole mess and God sent us into the mess But that's exactly what he did with his son That's what he did with Jesus he sent Jesus his son into a mess So that's what God always does when you're a son or a daughter. You're gonna be in the mess But he sent you with his spirit so you could shine light in that darkness Right. He sent you man. That's so beautiful. It's like we keep thinking. Oh my gosh. I got myself in some mess Glory be to God then the ticket the flight you got the Spirit of God Like 10 hours before our flight on Sunday night No, what was it Tuesday discipleship? Discipleship and I hear I hear all the flights guy can't like the fight And I'm sitting there like Bryce is real like and there's no flights flying out of MCO Because everyone's going to Philly for 4th of July And they have to go all the way to Tampa Drive two hours have to wake up extra early sleep. I slept two hours that night go all the way to Tampa Then the flight gets delayed six hours, bro But like you said if it wasn't if I looked at it like this sucks There wouldn't have been nine to ten encounters in the airport All caught on video that are gonna go super viral and touch millions of people Like you know what I mean like it's just like we got to look at it like God like This isn't about the thing in front of me. It's like what are you trying to show me through this? Like what are you trying to show me at the airport? We get to Kensington? What are you trying to show me in Kensington? What are you trying to show me that there's a heat wave coming? Where most people would be like we're not gonna go outside We're gonna stay inside because it's so hot, but you say if you want us to go
I remember the second day that I heard the devil say don't go to Kensington. You already went the whole night You're good, and the Lord said no you're going to Kensington and you're gonna go in the heat. And bro, it actually was cooler than at night. And then all these encounters happen. So it's like, we have to look at these things and be like, God, like, I wanna trust you in this as a son. I want this to be an opportunity for you to shine your character and your nature in this trial where I know, and others as well, that you really are who you say you are. Yes. That's been the prayer. Like, that's the heart. That's been it. For me. Yes. And I know the souls are gonna get saved. I know devils will be casted out. Like, that is a powerful thing, don't get me wrong. But that's something that like happens regularly. So that's not like a big, like, to me, right? Which I'm not saying this in like a prideful way. I'm saying this, right? We see revival all the time. But for me, it was that. It was the Met. It was the trust. It was the pastor Mark and his team,
like, trusting as well. Then the other, Ms. Toni, all these people trusting and then everything running smoothly. He just, because you have a relationship with the Lord, he knows exactly what he has to do to draw you closer to him. He knows exactly what he has to do to get you to trust him even more. He knows the intricate details. Sometimes he'll surprise you with the intricate details because he's done it with me. Or I didn't think about something that would be so significant to me. And then he does something about it. And later on, I'm in prayer, like, oh my gosh, how did you know this was so significant to me? Well, duh, you are the maker of the heavens and the earth. You know everything. You know, and it makes you trust him. Like, it makes you start talking to him from that place. Like, you are the maker of the heavens and the earth. And exactly what you said, Lord, reveal to others who you say that you are through me. You're using me in this trial, but you're about to use me to reveal to others that you are who you say that you are. You're a miracle worker. You're a promise keeper. You are the one that saves, that heals, that delivers. Like, that's what you have to see yourself as,
someone that the Lord, and it's not that the Lord wanted you to be in the situation that you're in, in the trial and tribulations. But Lord, you know what? Here I am, but I'm going to allow you to use me to prove to other people who needs faith or who needs hope, right? They need a little hope. They got faith, but they need hope that God's going to come through. God, you're going to use me to show them that you are who you say that you are. And I'm going to be a testimony to those people that are going through the same things. And it's just beautiful because that's who he is. The devil creates a reality that we can't see, his own world, so that we don't trust in a reality that's unseen, God's world. And we have to trust in something we can't see, even though we see things in front of us. That's the one. So that the unseen God can destroy the seen God. Oh. The devil. So good, that's so good. That's why this whole lifetime is the devil putting like things in front of us in situations so we can freak out.
But then us not, it's like faith is the substance of things, hope for us, the evidence of things unseen. So we have to have faith. How can you trust God? Where were we, this is the last thing. How can you grow in trust for God when you can see it? You can't. It has to be something unseen that makes no sense where God shows up and shows out and all you need to do is trust in who he says he is in the word. Yes. Oh, so good. That's the only way. How can his word become alive? How can it even be a miracle or be a trust increaser if it makes sense? It can't make sense. It can't. So then are we gonna go through things that don't make sense? Yes. Are y'all ready for that? Yes. It's crazy, bro. It's gonna get wild. It's gonna get, it's gonna get crazy. But then he does things that doesn't make sense. But it's, you know what I'm saying? That's why the Lord loves people who got faith, man.
I mean, he loves everybody, but he loves, he loves faith. Loves faith. That gets him happy. That gets him, like, that turns him up. And he starts to orchestrate. When you got crazy faith, he starts to orchestrate things. Yes, he does. To make you be like, ooh, that was you. Yes. That, that, that, that. Oh, you did that. Like, wow, wow, wow. I love it, man. I love the Lord. It's scary sometimes, guys. But man, you can't walk this walk in Christ if you're scary. No. You can't, bro. You can't. It gets crazy, but it's so amazing. So amazing. Are y'all ready for that? Yes. For more of it? Some of y'all are looking at me with your eyes open. Wide. Good, you sure? That's the fear of the Lord. Like, man, it's about to get wild.
But yes, God, you're going to come through every single. And every season, God is faithful. And we have all our testimonies to help each other get through it. It's like, so talk about it. Don't be a Lone Ranger where you just keep it to, no, talk about it. If you're going through it, like I was going through it for the last month. I didn't tell y'all, but I told people close to me what was going on. People I trust and I'm like, man, like, help me out. Like, pray for me, pray for me, pray for me. My wife would tell me, stop. That's fear, pray for me, pray for me, pray for me. I didn't shut up, I kept talking about it. Because I'm not, I don't want to be, I don't want to be, like, that's pride. If I'm just going to act like everything's good, but it's not. Yeah. I need help. It's like, pray for me, talk to me, give me some wisdom, something. Say something. Say, Miss Tony out in Philly, bag of ladies, old school Pentecostal. She was, bro, she got faith. Yeah. I saw her, she was standing, when we got to the Met, she was right in the front in a chair like this at the door. They're not going to take us out of here. That lady's gangster, bro. For real. And she just stood in faith. And then after the revival, she came up to me and said, mighty man of God, and hugged me. She was like, you brought trouble. So, there must be something that's about to happen. She was like, all these years and nothing happened.
Everything's been good, and now things are shaking up. And then after the revival, she was like, looking at me with eyes like this. I understand now. Yeah. God is good, bro. I love the Lord. So, Father, we just pray through these trials, Lord, because we know we're going to go through them, a lot of them, for the rest of our life. But as we go through more and more, Lord, we're just going to die more and more to ourselves and to this world and to our expectations and to whatever the enemy tries to paint. We don't care, Lord. We want to have so much faith, Lord, in the things we can't see, Lord, that only comes from your presence. It only comes from you filling us with the living waters. Actually, the living waters that flow from within us. So, you've already filled us with the living waters that flow from within us as we trust in your word and identity. So, Lord, may the streams of living water flow tonight. Tonight, Lord, we pray that many people who come in here burdened, freaking out like I was, nervous, not knowing what to do. Lord, we pray that your presence would hit them in such a way and fill them in such a way that whatever they're going through, it wouldn't even matter that they'd have peace. That doesn't make sense. Lord, may you use us to minister to them, Lord, whether it's at the front door of the bathroom, a guy holding a camera, whatever it is. May you use us to minister to your people, Lord, in the way that they need so that we can all increase in faith. In Jesus' name, and we all say together, Amen. Hallelujah. All right, let's get into our positions. All right, let's get into our positions.
