What does it really mean to be righteous? In Genesis 18-20, we see Abraham intercede for Sodom, only for God to reveal that influence—not isolation—is the true test of righteousness. Lot lived in a wicked city, but had no impact on it. His failure to lead, protect, or influence his own household stands in stark contrast to Abraham’s radical hospitality and leadership.
