You can text notes to 59090 to get all of those. And we are in our Connect With God series because this is a year of encounters and visitations. That was the prophetic word over 2026. If you have not listened to the prophetic word of the first Sunday of this year, please go do that ASAP so that your house is stewarding the prophetic words of this house. If you haven't listened to it since, go listen to it again. But it's an Exodus 3-5 year, a year of holy ground. You choose your daily encounter and God chooses your holy visitation. Listen, we want you to spiritually grow. And the way that you spiritually grow is through learning how you best connect with God so that encounters are easy. And it's easy to encounter God when you're in his presence. Amen? This is why we are in our Connect With God series right now so that it's easy for the body of Christ to encounter their king. So this morning we're gonna be in Luke 22 14-23 and it's titled this, The Last Supper. It says this, when the hour had come, Jesus reclined at the table with his apostles. And he said to them, I've eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before my suffering.

For I tell you that I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God. After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, take this and divide it among yourselves. For I tell you that I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now until the kingdom of God comes. Verse 19, and he took the bread, he gave thanks and he broke it and gave it to them saying, this is my body given for you. Do this in remembrance of me. In the same way, after supper, he took the cup saying, this cup is the new covenant in my blood which is poured out for you. And then he says this, look, the hand of my betrayer is with me on the table. Indeed, the son of man will go as it has been determined but woe to that man who betrays him. Then they began to question among themselves, which of them was going to do this? I came here to tell you today that you connect with God through remembrance. The title of this message is Connecting with God through Remembrance. Let us pray this morning. Holy Spirit, we thank you that you abide in this temple. But more than abiding in this room and in this building, we ask that you would come and abide in our holy temples. This morning, we give you complete freedom to come and invade every single area of our bodies.

Invade our minds with truth. Invade our hearts with truth. Invade our bodies and spirits, Father, with your truth. We decree what John the Baptist decreed. We decrease so that you would increase. This morning, as your people, we say, less of us and more of you, King Jesus. Would you come and fill these temples and make us holy this morning with your word? So this morning, we pray what Samuel prayed. And we pray, speak, Lord. Your servants are listening. In Jesus' mighty name, amen. Listen, remembrance is when you remember what God has done. And when you remember what God has done, you feel close to him. And when I say feel, I don't mean like what the world talks about about listening to your feelings. I mean an actual feeling of a physical presence that when you begin to encounter him through remembrance, all of the sudden, you have entered into his courts with gratitude and thanksgiving because you have remembered what your God has done for you and you begin to sing praises. And when you do this, all of the sudden, you can feel or you are in the presence of the living God. It says in Psalms 103 through five, know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us and we are his. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name for the Lord is good. And his loving devotion endures forever. His faithfulness continues to all generations. See, you cannot enter into his presence if you are not grateful. The only way to enter into his presence is through this gratitude or this thanksgiving. But to have a grateful heart and thanksgiving means you have to remember what he has done in your life. You have to remember what he has spoken over your life. You have to remember the goodness of God. And the moment you begin to remember how good he is, all of the sudden, I can feel his presence right now because my mind immediately went to the goodness of God. You will immediately be able to encounter God and feel his presence, to feel his peace. We're gonna get into it this morning. But I wanted to remind you of the sermon that I preached last year on gratitude. It's a superpower. And it goes hand-in-hand with connecting with God through remembrance. And if you haven't listened to it or you haven't listened to it in a while, I want you to go listen to it because it will transform your life, amen? Revelations 2, four through five says this,

but I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember, therefore, from where you have fallen or where you came from, repent and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place unless you repent. Last year was the year of radical love. We were just laying the foundation. And the foundation that was being laid is that the bride of Christ would fall in love with her bridegroom and remember her first love and never fall out of love with our first love again. So this is the thing. Remembrance brings us back to our first love. And so here's three ways that I'm gonna give you this morning to connect with God through remembrance. The first is this. Remember what the word of God says and the teachings that you have heard. This scripture is so important for this hour. Go with me to 2 Timothy 3, 12 through 17. It says, indeed, all, say all. Come on, with gusto, all. All who desire to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. All, if you are living a true life of Christ following, you will face persecution.

This is encouragement for those that are being persecuted. For those of you that have not faced persecution yet, it's time to put on your big boy pants and stand up for truth in an hour that it's not popular because I promise you, when you begin to live like a true Christian in this hour, you are going to lose clients in your business. You will not be able to champion sin or look the other direction because the Holy Spirit will come and convict you and say, you better not partner with that. You better not laugh at that. You better not go out and drink the way you used to to go get that deal. Ah, he's calling the bride of Christ into a place of holiness. And we have to remember his goodness so that we understand it is an honor to be persecuted in this hour, to live according to his promises and his truth. And in verse 13, let's continue. It says, while those that are living godly lives are persecuted, all the while evil men and imposters go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in the things you have learned and firmly believed since you know from whom you have learned them. From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

Verse 16, all Scripture, all Scripture. Come on, it's not, oh, just the New Testament but not the Old Testament. It's not the Christians that are trying to go around, those new age Christians call themselves Christians saying there is no hell, there is no judgment. You are not reading the whole Scripture. And we have to know this word, church. We have to know this word so that when false teachers that sound good but aren't real, when false prophets on YouTube are decreeing falsehood that we know the difference because we know the truth and the word of God, all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, for training in righteousness. What is righteousness? That which is right in his eyes, not my eyes, for conviction, for correction, for training. Why am I saying it again? Oh, because we get so offended nowadays when we hear the truth. Why is our pastor leaning in? Why are they correcting us? Because this is what it should do. When we read this word every day, our flesh should feel uncomfortable. Every single day, our flesh should be offended at this word. And then what?

Our spirit mans begin to lead us. push past our flesh. It says this, so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work. We are living in a day, an age, when we ask, is this the truth? The answer is, what is the truth? And when they ask it, they just act like, like they're just so smart, and the rest of us are so dumb, when they question, well, what is the truth? What, saying, your truth can be your truth, and my truth can be my truth. Here's the problem, is when you begin to say, your truth can be yours and my truth, now all of the sudden, the truth has been watered down. And when the truth is watered down, people can no longer decipher between what is right and what is wrong, and not only that, but when people begin to no longer seek out, or when they no longer begin to value knowing the truth, they stop seeking the truth. This is what is happening, because we listen to ridiculous things that our word doesn't say, it's like, whatever your truth is, baby, go ahead and live it.

That's called an eternity of hell. I can't live according, the Bible says the heart is deceitfully wicked. If I live according to my truth, I have an eternity of hell waiting for me. If I live according to the truth, church, the truth that we must not just know, but we must preach, and not just preach, but we must raise our kids according to, and not just raise our kids according to, but live daily by this truth. So here is the question, how do you confront lies if you stop seeking the truth? You cannot and will not, because you can no longer decipher between lies and the truth. This is where we are at in America. And so guess what, when there is not clarity between what is truth and what is lies, it becomes very easy to listen to the opinions of man. This is why whatever is the loudest, whatever is the most repeated on social media, or YouTube false prophets, or whatever else, the media in COVID, whatever we are taking in and hear over and over, when this is not in us, we take on as the truth. Many of us repeat things thinking it is truth because we have heard it so many times.

And we don't realize that we are living according to falsehood. We are raising our children by culture's ways just because we have heard it somewhere without ever checking where was the place that we heard this from. This is why many in the church have been attacked to share their testimony. Many times when you step out to share your testimony for the first time, you can amen me if this has happened to you. You hear and you don't recognize that it's the enemy at first, but you hear in your mind, that's not the truth, you're making it up. That didn't really happen to you. You're over-exaggerating. Wave at me if you've ever heard something like that. Okay, I'm gonna teach you something this morning. This church, we speak back to demons, okay? Because Jesus did. And according to our word, what he accomplished on the cross means he won an authority. Do you remember the great commission that said, first of all, Jesus said, you will do far greater. I have to go so that the Holy Spirit will come and be your helper.

Then when I go, here's a great commission, is that you're gonna heal the sick, cast out demons, call the dead back to life. Church, that's your promise. And preach the gospel around the world. So yeah, we speak to demons with the word of God, with truth, and demons have to flee. So the next time that a demon comes trying to persecute you and tell you that you're lying when you're telling your testimony, you need to turn around and talk to that demon and say, when did you start caring about the truth, demon? When did you start caring about the truth? Listen, my testimony is encountering God through remembrance of remembering not what the enemy did, but what my God did for me to set me free. And I'm gonna tell the world about the goodness of my God and what he did for me. We have to get back to the place that we stop listening to demons. Ah, many of you, you go to share your faith with somebody to step out and preach the gospel. And all of a sudden, you're like, yeah, I just, I don't have enough scripture memorized. You hear, oh, you don't know the word well enough. You're gonna look like a fool if you do that, if you step out in that grocery store and begin to pray for somebody. Now hold on a second. When did demons try to tell me I need to be in my word more?

Every time I open my word, all of a sudden I feel sleepy. But now I'm gonna step into somebody's life and minister the gospel, and demons wanna tell me I don't know my word well enough? Church, I'm telling you, ah, hold on a second. All of you in your college days, all of you in your college days drinking, getting drunk, addicted to everything that there is, sleeping around, the whole thing. Did he ever come to you and say, you're gonna look foolish doing that? No, but all of a sudden, you're gonna be a herald of Jesus Christ in public, and you're listening to demons that you're gonna look foolish? Come on, it's an hour to speak back to demons and tell them to go where they should stay, back to the pit of hell, and for the body of Christ to rise up in the authority that God won on the cross, speaking the truth and the word of God everywhere that we go. Joshua 1, seven through eight, I decree over you, church, above all, be strong and very courageous. Above all, be strong and very courageous. Church, I decree it over you in this hour. Above all, be strong and very courageous. And be careful to observe all of the law. What is he speaking about? At the time he's speaking to the law, what does it say to us today?

Because we know according to the scripture we just read that all scripture is used for teaching. It is now speaking to this Bible, this word. So be careful to observe all that is in this word. Do not turn from it to the right or to the left so that you may prosper wherever you go. This book of the law must not depart. See, the church has so much gossip and slander and curses coming from our mouth. This word hasn't been coming out of our mouth for years. We have to take back our mouths for the glory of God. Do not let, the word of God says, let it depart from your mouth. Meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in all that you do. How beautiful is this? Friends of ours in Orange County, they built on the back of their property an encounter space for God, for people to come and encounter God. And one of the things that they built on the back of their property is a chapel and it's called Zion Chapel. And the first time that I walked in, the second I walked in, I looked up and on the ceiling, I saw the names of God all over the ceiling. Every name of God, if you see right here, here's a picture, the word Adonai. And I felt the glory of God hit me

as I walk into this chapel. And then I begin to look around on the walls and all over on the walls, including Landon's and I favorite scriptures, have been carved into stone so that you are surrounded by the word of God. They said, not only is this on purpose to value the word of God for today, but this is on purpose so that one day when wicked rulers come into America and burn and get rid of the word of God, that they cannot destroy this stone and that people remember the words of God. Scripture also in the same way tells us to what? Write it on the tablets of our hearts so that it would not depart from us. See, this is encountering God through remembrance of his word. So here's my question for you this morning. What wars against your encounters with God through remembrance? Encounters with demons through remembrance. Did you know that not only can you encounter God through remembrance, but you can encounter demons through remembrance. See, the enemy always tries to imitate what Christ does, but it's a counterfeit. This is why it's so important that the body of Christ in this hour operates in the gifts of the spirit

so we can distinguish between spirits, between right and wrong, between the counterfeit and the real thing. See, the counterfeit of remembrance is where demons will get you to stew on things of your past, hurts, hardships, betrayals, suffering. and will get you to meditate and ponder on those things. We're gonna go deep into this because people are gonna be set free this morning. You're gonna be set free this morning. Encounters with demons through remembrance happens in two ways. The first way is in real life scenarios that did happen. And we stay in this place of remembrance on bad things like I just went through, on the hardships, and what happens is we actually begin to reminisce with demons. And demons begin to reminisce in us. This is why some people say, I can never forgive somebody for this because they are so focused on the injustice or the hard thing that took place to them instead of how great their creator is. Jesus said on the cross that I forgive them for they know not what they do as they are throwing things and insults and stabbing him and crucifying him.

Forgiveness is not a part of our walk as a Christian only if somebody comes and repents to us. Forgiveness is between us and God, amen? And this is what this reminence, encountering God through remembrance with demons will do. It'll take you to a place of bitterness, of unforgiveness, of hardness of heart, living in a constant place of frustration, and this is what it will practically do. It's almost like a reel that will play in your mind where you will play the suffering, the hardships, what somebody said to you, how they betrayed you, and it will happen over and over, even sometimes when you have forgiven, why? Because that demon is trying to take you back to a place of slavery, is trying to take you back to a place of offense, is trying to take you back to a place of bondage. And so I'm gonna give you a couple examples of this because this is a direct attack on your faith. When you live in a place of defeat from yesterday, you will never walk in a place of faith. And if you never walk in a place of faith, it's impossible to please God. That's what the word of God says. This is why we're gonna get breakthrough from this this morning. Number two is this, and I'm gonna lean into this before I go to number two. This is very much what is happening in culture today.

Every single time that there is an election or they can't stand Trump or some other leader or some other spiritual leader or pastor that is messing with demonic agendas in the world, they will choose things in our history to divide the people with. So we see this specifically racially. There's always gonna be something leaked, but between, when there's a specific time that's taking place and the enemy wants to gain territory over kingdom territory, then all through media will be released things that divide blacks and whites, that divide browns and whites, browns and blacks. They don't even care as long as it is dividing. Why? They were using something from ages ago or generations ago, like slavery, and we're gonna use this to get your eyes set on this to create an anger, a bitterness, a hurt. We wanna create wounds to divide so that they forget how good that their God is, so that they forget that they serve a deliverer, so that they forget that they serve the God of freedom, so that they forget the good, all of the incredible things that God did through reformers, ah, through fights in our history for equality, ah, we want you to forget that. And in the forgetting, this is what is, ah, this is so key for us to understand. When we begin to set our eyes on the bondage

and on the slavery and we remove our eyes off of the goodness of God, you have a church that begins to remove glory, proper glory from a God who is good, and then what? You have a divided body. This is what is taking place where we will begin to encounter demons through remembrance, and we remember what the enemy did more than what he did. Some of you, this is a word for your testimony, and you're like, I haven't been able to share my testimony because I'm still mad, I'm still angry, I'm still bitter. Do you know what they did to me? Do you know what your God has done for you? Are you sitting here with breath in your lungs today and food in your belly with the? word that's in your hand with words that have been spoken over you free with no chains on you do you know what your God has done for you ah we have to get back to a place of remembering how good he is did you hear what i just said i said remembering how good he is he is good church he is good he is worthy of praise honor and glory he is worthy of it all where is this oppression coming from on the church to divide and to destroy when we serve our living God you know you're a free people you're a free people it doesn't matter what the media says i don't care what the media says you are a free people that is what our God has done and they cannot remove what our God has done what he has accomplished no matter how hard they try they cannot remove the goodness of God but what you can allow is allowing the goodness of God to be removed from your life because you focus on the negative the hurts the pains the wounds instead of letting the healer and the redeemer come and heal those wounds here's the second way that you encounter demons through remembrance fake scenarios that did not happen oh let's go there

many people do this in their everyday lives and they do not realize they are encountering demons you think up of thoughts of rejection hurt pain and maybe one maybe as a child you were you were really rejected you had abusive parents but now because you have not found freedom in Christ which it is there for you today to grab a hold of that now when somebody gives you feedback they're rejecting you and now that next day when they gave you feedback that whole drive home you were just stewing on them and this you're building a case the enemy is encountering you through your bitterness through your hardness through the spirit of rejection you've opened up a door and now by the time you get home you don't like this person you are offended with this person they were a friend for 10 years but all of the sudden you have convinced yourself that this person or this demon has convinced you and you've come in unity with it that this person is evil wrong and wicked and all of a sudden that friend comes like hey how you doing today can i pray for you you're like what happened to our friendship pastor shared a story with me one time and it's always stuck with me he said he came he was driving home from work one day as he's driving home all of a sudden he just starts thinking on his wife like thinking i bet you the second i walk in that door she's just gonna she's gonna start nagging me about what i left on the floor my toothbrush out and this and next thing you know 10 minutes of this 15 minutes of this his whole way home he has thought over and over like a real in his mind of what encounter he's going to have with his wife as if it is real he gets home his wife is doing some things around the house and he's just real short with her the next thing you know he's being harsh with her and she's like what is going on did you have a bad day at work you're being harsh right now and he said all of a sudden he says when she says this he snaps out of it literally he is in an encounter a demonic encounter to what divide his marriage because what god loves unity in a marriage the enemy loves division in a marriage you have a bullseye on your back just being married because it's the picture of the bride and the bridegroom and this pastor did not realize that his entire drive home he's encountering a demon of a not real life a false scenario that has never happened that he begins to sow discord into his marriage by this is what i'm talking about narcissistic leaders and this is inside the church and outside the church you can be a narcissistic business leader many have thought that this is just a good leadership tool but what you will do is control staff people family members friends and the way that you control to receive people's loyalty is by putting false scenarios in their minds with other people that they are loyal to

so that they will be more loyal to you instead of to the people that god has called them to be loyal to or the house that God has called them to be loyal to. And these demonic spirits through people will actually incite offense, things that you've never, maybe you've never encountered that person in that scenario but because now they told you that, now all of the sudden I'm offended or I don't trust anymore and I am breaking relationship, why? I am now encountering a demon through remembrance with an individual that is operating in the demonic that I have just partnered with and now I am treating people or a church or my business or my staff in a way that is demonic and it is false and not true. This is why the Bible talks about saying, it says this, to think on whatever is holy, whatever is good, whatever is righteous, whatever is pure. Because God knows that the enemy will come to plant thoughts in our minds to what? Not just divide us but to destroy us. And this is where we must wash ourselves with the word of God or the truth as Ephesians 5, 25 through 27 says. It says, Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing with the water through the word. This is what the worship team was decreeing over you

in worship is that you and your mind, your relationships, that it would be washed with the water through the word. See, we renew our minds and purify ourselves with the word of God. Book of Wisdom in Proverbs 3, one through three says this, my son, do not forget my teaching. Let your heart keep my commandments. This is the amplified version, it's so rich. It says, for length of days and years of life, meaning if you do this, you will have a long life worth living. In tranquility or what? Peace and prosperity, the wholeness of life's blessings. They will add to you the teaching and the commandments, the word of God. And verse three, do not let mercy, kindness, and the truth leave you. Instead, let these qualities define you. And then it says this, bind them securely around your neck and write them on the tablets of your heart. It's saying, do not let this word depart from you, amen? Practical advice, ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and remind you of Jesus' words. If you forget, if you have a hard time memorizing scripture, if you have a hard time remembering what he has said over you, John 14, 26 says this, but the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

Number two is this, remember the dreams, visions, and prophecies you have received. This is so important. Connecting with God through remembrance, with dreams, visions, and prophecy will keep you from these three things, one, giving up, two, disobeying God, and three, taking God's glory. I don't mean basking in his presence and his glory. I mean taking the glory. When there's a win, you're like, thank you very much, when it's his win. So connecting with God through remembrance, with dreams, visions, and prophecy will keep you from these three things, giving up, disobeying God, and taking God's glory. We see this in the story of Joseph. Joseph encounters God through remembrance in dreams. We see it in Genesis 37 through 50, and I'm gonna walk you through this timeline because I believe some of you are going to be radically encouraged with faith this morning, amen? At age 17, Joseph receives and shares his prophetic dreams with his family. He has two dreams, first of the sheaves of grain bowing to him, and second of the sun, moon, and stars bowing to him. His brothers are jealous of him, and the father rebukes him, but his father remembers it. Now listen, I have a different take on this story. A lot of preachers are like, oh, you're dumb and foolish

for sharing your dreams with people. Of course, they're gonna be jealous. I think that's horrific that that's our point of view. I think as brothers and sisters in Christ, if we have a brother or sister that has a dream, it's how can I pray for you, how can I lift your arms, how can I help you birth this dream, and praise God for the way that he's going to use you, amen? So here's your practical advice. Invite others into your dreams to remind you of them. Shortly after, still at age 17, Joseph is betrayed by his brothers in a plot to kill him, and instead, they throw him into a pit. Then they sell him for 20 pieces of silver to traders passing by. He is then taken to Egypt and. sold as a slave to Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh and captain of the guard. Now in the next 10 to 11 years, we're skipping forward. We're going from age 17 to 28, 29, 30. He serves as a slave in Potiphar's house. Potiphar's wife falsely accuses him of attempted assault after he refuses her advances on him. Then Joseph is thrown into prison for this false accusation. Let's pause right here. At this point, Joseph has gotta be like, God, this was like, if pizza were back then, this had to have been like a bad pizza dream. Because so far the dream that you gave me and told me what I was gonna become all these years later,

all I have seen is suffering. All I have seen is hardship, but he remembers the dream. In fact, God is so good that even in the midst of being in prison, falsely accused, he becomes overseer of the prisoners. At age 28, Joseph interprets Pharaoh's dreams from prison. I just wanna take a moment to encourage those in the room that you have been stewards of other people's dreams faithfully in the midst of still waiting on yours being fulfilled. You have God's attention. You have heaven's attention. This is a kingdom heart and mindset. And hear me this morning, God takes note when you serve others' dreams in the waiting of the fulfillment of your own. At age 32 years later, Joseph interprets another dream that has to do with the future of the nation when no one else could. And he advises Pharaoh on what to do. He's released from prison at age 30, and Pharaoh promotes him to second in command over all Egypt. Now ages 30 to 37 are the seven years of plenty. This is part of Pharaoh's dream. He oversees massive grain storage across Egypt. Hear this, this is a prophetic word for somebody. During this time, he has two sons. The first, Manasseh, means this, his name means this. God has made me forget all of my hardship.

This is the first son that God births to him. And as he birthed, as his wife births his son, God says to him, I am making you forget all of your hardship. Some of you this morning need to forget how hard it's been and begin to remember how good he is, that despite whatever it is that you have gone through, prison and pit moments, our God is still. Come on, our God is still. Ah, he's good. God has made me forget all of my hardship in his second son's name, and this, God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction. That's what's on the other side of stewarding God's dreams is fruit church. Age 37 to 39, the famine begins, and brothers come to Egypt for grain. They unknowingly bow before Joseph, fulfilling the first dream of sheaves. The second trip, where Benjamin is brought, he reveals his identity and forgives them, saying, ah, he forgives them, a few caught it. You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good. Despite all he had been through that he could have blamed his brothers for the slavery and the hardship, he understood. This was the process for me to become who God had called me to be, and because of what you did in my past, it actually perfectly aligned me

for the blessing and the fulfillment of the dreams in my future. And he forgives and says, the evil you meant against me, God meant for good. He invites the whole family to Egypt to survive the famine and provides for them. Age 39, family reunion in Egypt, and the second dream is fulfilled. Church, I want you to see this, that it took 22 years for his God dreams to be fulfilled. Many of you have said, God, what happened to the dream? What happened to the prophetic word? What happened to the vision that you gave me? Many of you have been talked out of believing or stewarding those prophetic words and dreams, saying, oh, well, that prophet fell into sin. Look, that prophet didn't prophesy over you. The Holy Spirit, through a vessel, prophesied over you. I'm shaking you awake this morning to arise and to fulfill God's words in this season. His dreams took 22 years to be fulfilled through betrayal, slavery, false accusation, imprisonment, and eventually a fulfillment of his dreams. He saves a nation and his family. Don't forget, don't forget what God has spoken over you. Don't forget the visions and the dreams that he has given you. In fact, here's some practical advice, is remember your dreams and prophetic words by doing this. Keep them in front of you.

And you do this by writing them down, recording them. If it's too much to write down, it's a dream, you're tired, grab your phone, talk into your phone. If it's a prophetic word, ask, can I turn this on and record this as you share? But record what God is saying over you, what he is doing, the prophetic words, dreams, and visions, and then pray into them and ask God how to prepare you, yourself, for the fulfillment of those promises. If you wanna grow in stewarding dreams, I did a podcast and I preached a message on it last year, and you can grow in stewarding those dreams. I highly encourage you, because God is speaking, I can't tell you how many messages I get all the time of dreams, God giving dreams right now. We are in specific times, we're in end times, where the Bible promises he's gonna speak to us through dreams and visions, so steward them. And then this year, at the end of this year, towards fall, I'm going to be preaching on dreams too, and teaching on the interpretation of dreams. But remember them, do not forget them, church. Number three, my favorite, remember what the Lord has done for you. Remember the breakthroughs, remember the miracles, remember the answered prayers and the unanswered ones, remember what he kept you from, what he saved you from, remember the encounters, the visitations, the moment he came to you and spoke to you in front of that fireplace,

the moment you dropped to your knees, the moment that you were riding a biker in your car and you heard him, he came close and he spoke to you. His encouragement, his peace washed over you. Remember what he has done for you. Luke 1, 26 through 38 is the portion of scripture where Mary has a holy visitation with the angel Gabriel. The angel Gabriel comes to Mary and begins to call her and says, greetings to you who are highly favored, the Lord is with you. I want to awaken you to the fact that if God comes to leave his throne up in heaven, to encounter you and to speak to you, church, you are highly favored. You are highly favored because the king of kings and Lord of lords, the creator of the heavens and the earth wanted to be with you, wanted to speak to you, wanted to encourage you, wanted to visit you. This is one of the most important visitations of our time, history and future as this angel is bringing the good news that Mary is going to birth the Messiah and the Savior but receive this this morning because this is a word for right now. It says for no, in verse 37, for no word from God will ever fail. No word from God will ever fail. Not one prophetic word from 20, 30 years ago. If he said it, he's gonna do it.

Just like we sang this morning. If he spoke it to you, he's gonna do it. If he promised you, he's gonna fulfill it. Just a few of you are excited about that. Okay, well a few of us will be excited about the promises of God. I'm not gonna be like the Israelites that forgets. Doesn't end up in the promises of God because they forgot how good their God was. Don't you understand that the Israelites were set free out of slavery and then literally have his presence every single day. Well, how do you know that? Because it said there was a pillar by day and a fire by night. The glory of God went with them everywhere. Not to mention, God provided and brought provision all along his presence, his provision. All what? On the way to a promise. And in the midst of all of this, they're encountering God through visitations, miracles, signs, and wonders. The Red Sea, Pardon, Egyptians that are being massacred by God to protect them. They say, oh, I'm not gonna save you in a little way. I want the nations to know how much I love you. And because I love you so much, I'm gonna do it in a radical way so that the nations fear me and fear you

so that they know how much I love you. But church, they forgot. They forgot, despite all of that. We get so numb. We get so used to, we can do this at Mercy Culture, used to His presence, like, oh yeah, He just always shows up. We can talk nonchalant like that, about the presence of the Almighty. He is good. He is good. We also just think, as we tell this story, usually in Luke, like around Christmas time, of our Christmas tree and our presents and our decorations, it's just a sweet story, how Jesus came in to the world. We don't recognize the suffering that this prophetic word, this promise, this holy visitation brought. Due to the Roman census ordered by Caesar Augustus and Mary, now who is heavily pregnant, she has to travel 90 miles from Nazareth to Bethlehem on foot or by donkey on rough terrain, which was a grueling journey. Now if you have ever been an eight-month pregnant woman, you know this equals suffering. Even if you're the husband to an eight-month pregnant woman doing this, you know this equals suffering for you. They arrive to Bethlehem. She's a young girl, they think between 14 and 15. She arrives and there are no inns to stay at. So not only are there no inns, but we know that there are no nurses or helpers for her. Why? Because she has to give birth in a humble manger. Can you imagine Mary's thoughts who was just told, you are going to give birth to the king of the world, the savior of the world? And she just does the hardest journey of her life to give birth by herself in a manger. This is her first child.

This is giving us context now. Now she has to face the threat after she birthed Jesus, the threat of the death of her child from Herod's order to massacre all of the male children under two years of age because he heard the king being born in Bethlehem, and so he heard of this king, and so he wants to force everybody to murder their children to take the Messiah out. So what do they do? They have to flee to a foreign land. Years. This is where they live. They had to live as exiles until Herod's death, and then they return but settled cautiously in Nazareth due to further threats from Herod's son. Listen, all of this is just the opening to an entire life of ongoing obscurity and later extreme trials we know that Mary had to go through and watching her son carry a cross and be beaten, mocked, laughed at, and placed on a cross. Can you imagine the amount of times that Mary had to have bowed her head and closed her eyes and began to remember the moment with Gabriel? God, you promised this son that he is a promised child, a savior to the world. In fact, do you know that Scripture actually talks about the moments of remembrance? In Luke 2, 19, after the shepherds and wise men visit with gifts, the angels are singing, this is the savior of the world, and in verse 19 it says, but Mary treasured up all of these things and pondered them in her heart. Pondered meaning I encountered God through remembrance. I took the words, the encounters, the promises of God, and I put them in my heart to remember them. Luke 2, 51, you remember this story where Jesus falls behind in a sense where everybody goes to leave and they don't recognize that Jesus isn't with them anymore. And so somewhere down the road, look, I used to judge Mary over this, like how do you not understand that your son's not with you? And then all of a sudden the Lord humbles me and I like remember the failure moments of a mom.

And I'm like, okay, Mary, we have grace for you, but she, they lose track of Jesus. And so they're in this like scurry to go find where is he at? And when they find him, he says, do you not know that I would be in the house of my father? And it says that the teachers are in awe. of the wisdom and the knowledge of this young boy. And do you know what Mary's response is? But his mother treasured up all of these things in her heart. Listen, her remembrance kept her. Her remembrance of the encounters and visitations with God kept her. Some of you have stopped pondering this morning. You have stopped remembering about the life and death moments that you had, that you should have been dead, but God kept you in that moment, through that car accident, through that drowning moment, through that overdose moment, that God kept you. And hear me, if that's you today, wave me that you say, I shouldn't be here today, then why in the world aren't you living with every ounce and moment of your life, with faith bringing him honor and glory, saying everything that is mine, God, it is yours and for your glory, every gift, every moment, every dream, every idea, every resource, God, it is yours. See, some of you have forgotten, oh, the mistakes that you made, that were so grave, they could have destroyed

your marriage, your life, your business. Oh, but he kept you. He restored you, he restored your marriage. Some of you had such great sin and great bondage, yet you sit in this room free today. You sit in this room in the midst of your freedom story. Today, you're stronger than you were yesterday. Today, you're stronger than you were a month ago. Today, you're stronger than you were years ago. Church, don't forget the freedom that he has brought you, what he has taken you out of, what he has delivered you from, what he has redeemed you out of. Do not forget, it changes everything. It changes everything when you remember what he has done for you. This is what Deuteronomy 6, four through 12 says. It tells us again, the reminder to bring, to have the word of God, bind them on your foreheads, and reminder on your hands, write them on your doorposts of your houses and on your gates. It's saying keep the promises of God in front of you, but go to verse 12, listen to this. But be careful not to forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. Do you know that you are not slaves anymore, church? You are not slaves to bondage, you are not slaves to demons,

not to lying spirits, not to persecuting spirits, you choose it. You choose to walk with chains or you choose freedom that he paid for. He said, stop pondering on the slavery and remember the freedom that I paid for you. Do you remember? Do you remember the price that he paid for you? Psalm 77, 11, 15, I will remember the works of the Lord. Yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will reflect on all that you have done and ponder on your mighty deeds. Your way, oh God, is holy and what God is so great is our God. You are the God who works wonders. You display your strength among the peoples. A few of you are catching it. And with power, you redeemed your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. I don't know if you're getting it yet this morning, but you're a free people. You're a people that have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus and it's time for a free church to begin to walk in the freedom he paid for. You are redeemed. You are redeemed. Some of you will believe it. Some of you will receive it this morning. This is what he paid for, Psalms 105, one through five.

Oh, give thanks to the Lord. Call upon his name. Make known his deeds among the peoples. Sing to him, sing praises to him. Tell of his wondrous works. Glorify his holy name. Let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Seek the Lord in his strength. Seek his presence continually and remember the wondrous works that he has done. His miracles and the judgments are what the justice he has decreed. Woo, thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you that your deeds are wondrous. Thank you, Father, that you paid the highest price. I give you glory and honor that you set me free. You set me free from bondage out of drug addiction. I should be dead. I sat there for three days apartment floor God, oh, but your spirit brought me back to life so that I could sing of your praises. I could bring you glory, oh God, with every breath in my lungs. Father, I say thank you, and that I shall not forget the goodness of you and the freedom that you paid for for me. Thank you, Jesus. You are worthy, worship team, come up. You are worthy, King.

Some of you, faith is beginning to arise. Some of you think that I am performing, and I hope that the Holy Spirit comes and wrecks you this morning so that you can encounter him. That you would awaken this service, oh God, that they would get everything out of this service that you intended, this encounter that you intended. I'm interceding on your behalf because the Lord said he was gonna do inner healing this morning. This afternoon. But before that, I'm gonna tell you a story. I'm gonna tell you a story of what just took place in Washington, D.C. a week and a half ago. My husband said, you gotta tell them about Washington, D.C., and I was like, I don't know where that fits in this message. I was gonna come and mess things up, land and shot. It was the Lord. I took it into my encounter, and with this sermon, and immediately the Lord reminded me of a prophetic word. Over my life, when I was 26 years old, and I was about eight months pregnant with Peyton, and in the middle of this service in Phoenix, Arizona, the preacher stops as he's preaching, in the middle of his sermon, he turns to me and he begins to prophesy over me. And he said, Heather, you're gonna be a part of leading a mass women's movement. And he said, this women's movement, I see,

is going to go and set the captives free. I see loads and loads of people coming out of slavery, men and women being led from darkness and into the light. It's gonna be massive. There will be captives set free out of slavery. The Lord brings me back to this moment, because guess what? Landon reminded me two years at 38 years old, he said that all of this would begin in my late 30s, and Landon reminded me of a prophetic word that this year I began to see in the last couple of years, the fulfillment of. We went to Washington, D.C. about a week and a half ago, a group of 120 women and a few men went with us. And we fasted for 40 days, no food, just liquids. And we were fasting for freedom in the nations. Spiritual freedom, not just physical freedom, but also spiritual freedom. That there'd be awakening in the nations and the greatest outpouring that the nations have ever seen to prepare a great harvest for our coming king. We prayed for mass exodus out of slavery and the ending of abortion in every single nation. And we get there, and I realize with this prophetic word, Tuesday, if you can put it up there, the first day I filmed all day for Justice Run D.C. Justice Run is going to Washington, D.C., our nation's capital, to bring awareness to this issue on human slavery.

And I realize at the same time we're building the Justice Residence, it is being fulfilled. Tuesday, we sit here and film in faith for this movement of freedom in America and in the nations. Wednesday, the threshing floor was just packed. Up the stairs, every single room, shoes covering the entire front porch of women decreeing from the threshing floor that America and the nations shall be set free. The revival and reformation is coming to the nations. They stretched their hands towards the White House, towards the Supreme Court, towards the Capitol Building, and begin to prophesy righteousness and justice and freedom from our nation's capital. We worshiped over the nations. Go to the next one. Wednesday night, I sat there with a godly man named Tim from Wall Builders. Guess what he prepared for an encounter for us on Wednesday night. He brought all these old relics that I literally held in my hands, proclamations and sermons from our forefathers that our nation was built upon. This is so key with wicked people trying to destroy our history and say that our nation was not founded upon God-fearing men. I held their sermons, not just their speeches, you heard me right. Our founding father, I feel the Holy Ghost. I held their sermons in my hand full of scriptures calling nation, our nation to fasting and praying for the future of our nation. Do you know our forefathers fasted and prayed for the very thing that we're in today? He began to teach us how our forefathers actually that built this nation actually were the first ones to begin to fight slavery. I held the proclamations in my hand. I read them. He said,

Heather, it's so important that the nation understands there was a fight for freedom, for human rights from the very beginning with the Word of God as the foundation and the principle that led everything that they did and built this nation upon. Go to Thursday. Thursday night, we pack out the Russell Senate building. This room is a courtroom. All around this courtroom are senators' offices. This place was packed out with wild Christians, politicians, and staffers jumping all over the room, lifting up the name of Jesus. Hear me. Revival and reformation was in this building. People running through the hallways, lifting up the name of Jesus. Not only that, Tim Ballard, who's been a Mormon, I've been praying for him for years. He's the one that did the movie Sound of Freedom. He heard about it from Chuck Reyes, who he runs into a God encounter and invites him. We begin to lay hands on him and prophesy over the man. You can't make this up. Release the show sound of freedom. We begin to decree over him. Let freedom ring. We begin to pray and prophesy over his team. He begins to tell me, we're here for the Jews people. The Jews people are out of Syria. They have been massacred in Syria. We're here before Congress, pleading that America would stand up for people and faith in the Middle East where ISIS is wiping them out. We say, come to the threshing floor. After this moment, they come to the threshing floor. For hours, we spend with these men from Syria where their families have been massacred and pray and prophesy that Syria should be set free on the 39th night of a freedom fast for the nation's church. You can't make this up. You can't make it up. Go to Friday. This is Friday morning. I pull up to our embassy district. This is where all the nations are represented in our nation. I pull up in the car and I see this flood of people there to pray for the nations. And you guys, I get emotional. This is a movement that God is birthing. And we go to Brazil first. And when you get to Brazil, Brazil has all windows. It's a glass building. And Pastor Vanessa says, Heather, they're all looking at us from inside the building. I said, that's okay. Keep the sound system right up by the door. She's like, are you sure? Oh yeah, I'm sure. Let me go in and talk to them. I go in and I say, hey, we're here to pray for revival and reformation in Brazil. You want to join us? When we are praying and worshiping outside of Brazil, the next thing you know, our turnaround,

their whole staff is recording with their phones. All of us praying and decreeing that it shall be free. The next thing, you know, two of the staffers come out and join us and begin to worship and pray with us. Oh, and then we went to Iran and we decreed freedom. over Iran, over Nigeria, over South Africa, over the Middle East Church, God fulfills His words. What has He said over you? What has He spoken over your family? He fulfills His words. Put up the last picture up there. Look at all that the Lord has done in setting captives free, in raising up a woman's movement, in raising up life. June is life month. Justice run. Look at what the Lord has done. He fulfills His words. None of them shall fall to the ground in Jesus' mighty name. I came to ask you this morning, do you remember? Holy, holy, holy. Holy, holy are you. Holy, holy are you. Grab your communion and just hold it in your hand. Don't open it. But in our opening scripture, Jesus said, do this in remembrance of me. And then he said, look, the hand of my betrayer is with mine on the table. And in Acts 1, 16 through 19, this portion of scripture is accounted for again. And it says, Judas, who became a guide, Judas, who became a guide for those who arrested Jesus. Hear me today. You're about to be delivered. If you have had infliction on your mind, if you have been oppressed in your mind by lying, taunting, demonic spirits, getting you to encounter demons through remembrance instead of Christ, you're going to be set free this morning. You're going to be set free. Yes. Come on. Amen. Listen, Judas forgot. It says this. He was one of our number and shared in the ministry. Judas went everywhere with Jesus. He encountered him. He encountered miracles. He encountered signs and wonders. He encountered the dead being brought back to life. He encountered prophecy. He encountered all of it. But he forgot church and hear me this morning when he forgot, he began to encounter demons through remembrance and he remembered the words of demons instead of the words of Jesus. And he became a betrayer. We are in a pivotal hour where the enemy would love to take your mind, to take your thoughts and to make you a betrayer of Jesus instead of an intimate one with Jesus. So carry your communion. And I want you to get down to this altar because everybody's minds are about to be washed. Come on. Deliverance of your mind, lying, taunting spirits is over. Whatever he said about your marriage, it's going to be delivered this morning and watch the fruit

of your marriage tomorrow. Whatever he has said over your family. Oh, deliverance day is here. Oh, whatever falsehoods that you have believed or you have taken in through false teachers on YouTube, your mind is about to be washed. It's about to be renewed. If you have your prayer language, just pray in your prayer language. If you don't just say you're holy, you're holy, you're holy, you're holy. Jesus knew that Judas had forgotten him. This is why he calls him out on the table. And we cannot be a bride that has forgotten the goodness of God. He knows when we forget him, he knows when we forget his goodness, when there is not gratitude in his heart. So right now, this is what I want you to do. I just want you to begin to repent, repent for the way that you have forgotten his goodness. Some of you, this is a word you have been so frustrated. God is about to set so many free from frustration this morning. Every day you are frustrated. This is the enemy trying to bind you up as a victim. As a missionary, as a father, as a mother, as a businessman or businesswoman, He is trying to bind you up through frustration because your eyes have been what's not going right for you instead of how good He is. All of these things, just begin to repent, Lord, forgive me, forgive me, forgive me for forgetting how good you are. Come on, just say, forgive me, Jesus. I repent. Okay, this is what I want you to do next. I want you to picture every falsehood. This is an inner healing moment. The Lord told me He was going to do deep works this morning. So I want you to close your eyes and I want you to fully focus on God. And then this is crazy because I said fully focus on God, but you're going to, you're about to speak to demons with the power of God. And I want you to think on every falsehood that's been in your mind where maybe it sounded good in the moment. Maybe it sounded like wisdom or discernment in the moment, but it was not God.

And you've allowed it to play like a reel in your mind over and over and over. That is about to anoint you to speak to these falsehoods and your mind is going to be renewed. Others of you this morning, you need to begin to picture the conversations with demons that you didn't realize you were having, where you were focused on the real stuff of your past, the real wounds, the real hardships. Some of you have both. Come on, get them in front of you. Look at them. Look at them. Come on, look at those lying, taunting spirits. What have they said to you about your marriage? Come on, what have they said to you about your children? What have they said to you about your prodigal sons that are never coming home? What have they said? Those relationships are never going to be restored. Your business is never going to be successful. Come on. Somebody has spoken over you. As many lies as you want, this is the moment. Come on, say, Lord, let me remember. Remember. When you got it, just begin to speak in tongues. We're not prophesying. We're interceding. Come on. We are using our prayer language. If you don't have it, say, He's holy, holy, holy. Okay. Now, like Jesus said to Peter, when Peter tried to get him to do the opposite of what God's will was, Jesus turned around and said, you are an offense unto me.

This is what we're going to say. You are an offense unto me. Get behind me, Satan. So look the demons in the face, look the lies, the insults, the falsehoods, the ideas that aren't true about people. Come on, all of it. Look at those demons and say, you're an offense unto me. Come on. You're an offense unto me. Get behind me, Satan. Come on. Get behind me, Satan. One more time. Get behind me, Satan. Get behind me, Satan. Get behind me, Satan. Get behind me, Satan. Get behind me, Satan. Come on, just lay hands on your mind and decree this song. In the first service and I feel it again and then something comes from that. Just brought to me but in the first service not only has it been lies and spirits and voices, but it's been images, images, things that you saw as a little kid and I'm not just

pornography as one of them, but some of you were in abusive situations where you saw things and they have marked your memory. Yeah. Healing. Keep, keep, keep going. Holy Spirit. Thank you. Thank you for freedom. There's images that you saw where God is renewing and re-marking, re-marking your minds right now with holy memories and the trauma of your past. I thank you, God, that you are so big, that your blood is so great, that there is no trauma, that there is no sin, there is no demon in hell that has authority over the blood of Jesus. Come on, grab your communion right now. Grab your communion. There's deliverance. There's another wave that's about to come through communion. There's another wave that's about to come. Come on, stay with me band. Gently, but stay with me because there's a river that is flowing. We are not transitioning. It is a continuation of what he is already doing. Go ahead and grab the bread. And right now, I want you to remember instead of your trauma, yeah, instead of that abuse, instead of the betrayal, instead of the suffering, I want you to grab that bread and remember what your Savior did for you. I want you to remember, I want you to look at his back right now. Look at his, oh! I want you to look at his back, and I want you to see every 39 lashes. Oh, the 1, the 2, the 3, the 10, the 15. Oh, everyone!

I want you to look at his head, as they took that crown of thorns and they pressed it into his skull. From the front of his head to behind his ears, to the bottom back of his skull, with blood dripping down, saying, Bride, this was for you. Come on, I want you to look. I want you to look at the hand, the right hand, as they put that nail into the right hand. I want you to look at the left hand, with that giant steel nail that went into the left hand. And as he hung, they put two in his feet, and with the weight of his muscle and his skeletal body, the weight pressing on the nails for you. Remember, church, remember what he did for you. And take up the bread. Say, thank you. Thank you, King. Come on, as you're chewing that bread, just say, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for the suffering. Thank you for the torment. Thank you, God. Thank you. I remember. I remember. I remember. Oh, I remember. Come on, tell them, I remember. I remember. I remember. I remember. Come on, that was supposed to happen. The cup I held above and it spilt out.

The word of God says that his blood poured out. Hold it above your head. Do you know what this blood represents? It represents the blood of Jesus, which is the highest authority, the no principality, no darkness, no demon. Nothing can stand up to the blood of Jesus. There is no higher power. There is no higher authority than the blood of Jesus. It doesn't matter what you've been through, what demons you have encountered. It doesn't matter what your past is. The blood of Jesus is higher. It is greater. It is more powerful. Do you know that Judas blood was spilt out in the field of blood in vain? Church, this means that there is no sacrifice that ever has to be made again because the greatest sacrifice was made by the name, by the man, the perfect lamb, Jesus Christ. Come on, hold it over your head right now. And every principality and demon that has tried to mark your brain, mark your mind with trauma, with lies, with falsehood, with wickedness, with perversion, it has to come. Come on, say God! A third time! That's the sound of victory! Come on! Hey! Come on! Come on! Come on! ♪ Come on, the authority of the blood ♪ ♪ Every demon in hell ♪ ♪ Risen in poverty ♪

There's a dance of freedom that has to arise in this place. He said there was gonna be glory parties this morning. Glory parties! The Bible says, who the Son sets free is free indeed. And I want this place to look like a free church this afternoon. Do you know when we began to pray over Tim Ballard,

we decreed, let freedom ring. And as we decreed it over him, all of the sudden the sound of bells began to ring in the building. Come on! Free people! Yeah! Yeah! Jesus! There's the sound of freedom!
