We live, believe it or not, in an echo chamber. I have an algorithm that gives me information that I want to hear. It realizes that the same things that you like, it gives you, when you're looking at Facebook or Instagram. Here's why I'm telling you. The Israelis did the same. They had a filter in their minds that had been built for the last 400 years. They had been punished by the Egyptians, abused, used. They hadn't moved forward. Nothing good could come out of them. And they had a system. They believed that their identity, that they had no value. Pessimism for the nation. And you see it all in the Torah. It wasn't just an attitude, that pessimism, but it was a tactic to survive. And the filter that didn't disappear from their lives was that filter that they couldn't move forward. You would think that after they left the slavery of Egypt with 10 plagues that took them out, that would change their mentality. But no. Then God comes and takes them to the desert. And I'm going to send them manna from heaven every morning. And I'm going to give you wheat so you can eat.

Instead of saying, why did this happen to me? That is an easy line to say. The best question is, God, how should I respond? God, what are you teaching me at the moment? The change of perspective does not only alter our future. Change of perspective determines how we are going to walk. They did not have the right perspective and they lost the destiny that God had for them. And they all died in the desert because they had a symptom of saltamontitis. It is the idea of focusing on the enemy. The smaller you look in your own eyes, the more you focus on what is in front of you. The smaller you look, the more you perceive. Why are they called saltamontes? Why not frogs? Why not other animals? Saltamontes were the only insect that could be eaten. They could eat a saltamonte. They could eat a saltamonte. Focus on God, not on the giants. The giants tend to look different depending on the direction you're walking in. You're not going to be intimidated when you remember who's on your side. I want to pray, and after I pray, I want to invite you to take these steps, these steps, an altar. You say, I need motivation, I need to take a step of faith. You say, I feel like I'm walking alone. I feel alone. Any need you feel, be obedient. Let's pray together. Lord Jesus, you know we don't need to live this life alone.
