Command 5 | Part 14a
God's got a plan for me now, and I feel like there's been a time and a culture within the body of the church that we only thought about heaven, and we didn't fulfill heaven's will in earth. It is the vision of Word of God Ministries to preach Jesus as the manifested Word of God. It is our mission to reach more people in more places and in more ways. Did you know right now that you are tuned into one of our 75 television broadcasts across the nation, five international broadcasts. It is impossible for us to be good stewards of our program if we don't hear from you. I want to encourage you today to take time to let us know that you are being reached, that you're being blessed through our television ministry outreach. I'm going to have some information for you at the closing of the program, so get your phone ready, get something to write down some information. I'm also going to share with you a free gift offer just to hear from you. Let's get into the Word. So today I want to talk about the kingdom. So if you're taking notes, write the word kingdom down in your notes, just write it down. Kingdom. Even if you're on your notes, like on your phone or whatever, you can still write the word kingdom. Just write that word down, and here's how I want you to define it. Here's how I want you to see it. Put a slash or a line, if you're taking notes, if you're writing notes, put a slash between king and dom, D-O-M. Because the kingdom is the king's domain. It is the king's dominion, and what we're reading here in 1 Chronicles 29 is that there's no place he can't take authority over. There's no place he can't exercise his dominion. There's nothing off limits.
We're about about thinking, you know, well, this is my health and he doesn't heal anymore. Well, this is my finances and Jesus can't touch that area. This is my marriage and he can't have, you know, any influence here. There's no area of our lives, emotionally, spiritually, relationally, physically, geographically, that he cannot touch. Are y'all hearing what I'm saying to you? When he got up from the dead and walked this earth for 40 days, before he ascended back to the father in Matthew 28, he told the disciples right before he said go into all the earth, into all the world, right before he said go, that's in Matthew 28, starting in verse 18, right before he said go, he said, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore. He was saying, I've got all authority, therefore you go. I've got complete jurisdiction, therefore you go. There's no place that's beyond him. There's no place we're outside of his jurisdiction or out of his authority. The kingdom of God is the king's domain. So write that down and let's look at what he's saying here. Back to 1 Chronicles 29 verse 10. So he says in verse 11, thine, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory. The things that once broke your heart and maybe even broke your spirit, that God could use that one day to elevate himself. God says, I want the earth to be the place that I'm elevated. I want your enemies, my enemies, to be the thing that I'm elevated in. So notice what he's saying here in Chronicles, verse number 11. He's saying that all that is in heaven, so underline or circle that word heaven. And in the earth, underline or circle that word earth, is thine. Now read the next statement up to the comma, thine is the kingdom. So there are three words I want you to circle in that verse or underline. Circle or underline the word heaven, underline or circle the word earth, and underline or
circle the word earth. Kingdom Notice and then read it with me for all that is in the Heaven and in the earth is that read it thine is the kingdom The kingdom of God is not limited to heaven We need to know this because our struggle is not with what's in heaven And we don't need to advance the name of Jesus in heaven. It's already known And we don't need to advance the will of God in heaven. It's already there It's the earth that the lord wants to be elevated in it's the earth that we have our conflict when I first got saved I noticed that all the songs we were singing that little country church. I got saved in all the songs We were singing we're about getting up out of here Some of you will relate And i'm not saying there was anything wrong with getting up out of here but I mean I was 17 when I got saved I wasn't ready to get up out of here But yeah, I would go to the church and you know the the song leader We say turn to him number whatever and then you know, we'd be like I got a mansion over the hilltop And i'd be thinking about well when I die I got a mansion over the hilltop But that ain't helping me with this house i'm in right now And then then the song leader would say now turn to him number and we'd be singing I'll fly away oh glory When I die hallelujah by and by i'll fly see we're trying to get up out of here Let's think about that I don't mean to insult anybody because I know somebody might be ready to get up out of here But I ain't ready to get up out of here. I I mean, I thank god for eternal life I do I thank god for eternal life But I believe he's got a purpose for my life right now and I want to live out my purpose right now I'm looking around all that's going on in this world and i'm thinking jesus could come any second And I want to see when he comes. I want to I want to fulfill my purpose before he come I'm not ready to get up out of here That don't mean I don't need to think about heaven it doesn't mean I don't need to sing about heaven it just means
God's got a plan for me now and I feel like uh chief there's been a time and a culture within the body of the church that We we only thought about heaven and we didn't fulfill heaven's will in earth Like earth was off limits to god And so we built our churches coach and we got inside those walls and we said this is the house of God And so there we would sing There we would pray There we would love each other But once we walked outside of that Oh, we went back to our old ways Lie like a persian rug Cuss like a sailor Because why i'm no longer in the house of god And everybody that saw me just saw me like anybody else And then if I if the pastor showed up at where I work and and I said, hey pastor like you go to church Because there was nothing about my life that separated me because I only live sanctified when I was in the house of god We came to church and had a pep rally Walked out and lost the game Now I graduated woodlawn at a time when we weren't winning We weren't we weren't winning we weren't winning their basketball or football but that's that's my alumni I graduated woodlawn high school ain't gonna tell you the year because you don't think i'm that old but nonetheless When the chilies would come to the classroom sell those little ribbons for you know, you get like four for a dollar something I bought all the ribbons So I had my ribbons all over me and I went to the pep rally and I shouted as loud I was hootie james back then and I we loved the pep rally in the gym. Number one. It got you out of class I need somebody to help me We would have a pep rally and man you would thought we would stay champions Go down to independent stadium play on a friday night. Get out tailwood. We wouldn't watch the game You'd be talking to somebody eating nachos and hot dogs you didn't pay no attention we weren't winning
That's a picture of the church All up in what we call the house of God, shouting, dancing, spinning, celebrating, walk outside, tail whoop. But then days have got to be gone forever because there's no jurisdiction where the Lord can't move outside of what we call a church. When in reality, this building is not the church. You are the church. His people is the church. Jesus didn't build a building and call it church. He didn't call the people, he called them the church. You are the church. And guess what he told his church in Matthew 16? What he told his church in Matthew 16 is he said, and I give unto thee the church, the keys, the keys to the kingdom and what you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and what you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. He was saying, I give the church direct connections to heaven to bring about the will of heaven in the earth. All right, let's finish this version. We've got to go to Matthew 6. For all, I mean, verse 11, for all that is in the heaven and the earth is thine. One more time, read it. Thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all. Now, as quick as you can get there, go to Matthew chapter six. So you cannot talk about the kingdom and not talk about heaven and earth. Amen. Glory. So I need somebody to ask me, I need somebody to ask me, what is the difference between the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God? What is the difference between the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God? The kingdom of heaven is a place. The kingdom of God is a system. That system comes out of the kingdom of heaven, but a system is not limited to a location. A behavior is not limited to a location. That's why when we pulled up at my cousin's house, my daddy would
turn around and pointed us in the back seat and say, I don't care how they act. You know how we act. What was my daddy saying? Just because you're not at my house, don't mean you're not under my authority. I'll whoop your tail right in front of your cousins. And if I acted up in public, my mama would look at me and say, now we don't act like that. In other words, it don't matter how everybody else is acting. We don't act like that. So even though I wasn't at the kingdom of heaven home, I was still under his system. I was walking down the street one time and this neighbor come out, they lived near our house and he came out and started cussing me and my sister out. He was cussing us out and accused us of throwing bubble gum wrappers in the street. Now we didn't throw no bubble gum wrapper in the street because my parents taught me better, but he accused us of littering the street and he cussed us out. Now my daddy was at work, but I had no fear. I was like, when my daddy gets home and I tell him what you did, even though I was not at the kingdom of heaven, I was still under his jurisdiction. I was walking down the street and ain't nobody ever talked to me like that. And so when my daddy got home, I told him what Mr. So-and-so said and did. And my sister was right there and said, yes, dad, that's exactly what he said and did. He said, I'll handle that right now. And so my daddy went to the neighbor's house and knocked on his door and he told him, he said, sir, don't you ever talk to my kids like that again. If they do something that you see, you tell me and I'll take care of it. I promise you, but you don't talk to my child like that ever again. Even though I was not in the kingdom of heaven, I was still under his system. You need to recognize that no matter where you go, no matter what place you're in, you are still
under his authority. You are still under his power. It doesn't matter if you're not in the right place. You never leave his system. I wish we as a church would stop putting things outside his jurisdiction. I wish we'd stop thinking he can't touch finances, that he can't touch relationships, that he can't touch my job because I work for so-and-so and I got three oversights. He is the over, over the over, over the over, over the over. oversight. That doesn't mean you start disrespecting your oversight, it means you can respect your oversight, even when they are not respectful. Why? Because you know they don't have the final word in your life. If you thought they had the final word, then you would need to be manipulative in your attitude. See, if I have somebody in my life... Chief, will you help me out with this? You just come stand right here. If you're the authority in my life, because you're my oversight, let's say you're my oversight, I'm on this job, you're the oversight, and I'm thinking, okay, I'm tired of the way, you know, I told you I needed Thursdays off, keep writing me up on Thursdays, don't jump on purpose because you don't like me. I'm trying to find somebody can relate. You show favoritism. Anybody? So, if I see you as the final word in my life, then my attitude, my composure, the way I treat you, subliminally could be my way of manipulating you into doing me right. The controlling spirit that doesn't want to be honorable will turn to manipulation, exaggeration, intimidation, indoctrination. They're all forms of manipulation. In other words, I'm going to make you wish you'd done me right by the way I treat you. But when I recognize, oh, Coach, you got to be the one to help me with this one. Please, man, come help me out right here. Ain't too many folk in here, you know, seven feet tall. I mean, this works so well. If you would just come stand behind Chief just for a moment, all right. But when I recognize that you're not my oversight, my God, and Coach going to represent my God as my oversight. I can be so respectful to you. I can be so kind to you. I can buy you lunch. I can be so good to you, and you wonder, why is he doing what I'm doing? Y'all done seen it before. I am
doing what I do as under the Lord because he is my oversight. And he can work in you and through you for my good. You are not the final word in my life. You are the final word in my life. Now, that would look like if I thought God was in control, I would be arrogant towards you, selfish towards you, abrasive and mean-spirited because you ain't nobody to me. He's my, no, no, no, no. When I recognize he's the final authority, all of a sudden now my demeanor toward you changes because I don't have to manipulate you to my good. He's going to work things to my good. Is this making sense? Thank you, gentlemen. Y'all can be seated. Hallelujah. Coach, give me a low five for that, man. Come on. I couldn't reach a high five. All right, y'all understand what I'm saying? Are you in Matthew 6? Go over to Matthew 6. There's no place that you're outside of his jurisdiction. There's no place he can't bless you. They threw Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in a fiery furnace. And the next day they opened up the furnace and looked in and there was four men in there. I don't know if it was the next day, that was the lion's den, but I don't know how long it took. But they looked in and there wasn't no more three men. It was four. And the king said, that fourth one looks like the son of God. That means he can show up anywhere. And you can't lock him out. Not even a furnace won't lock him out. The Egyptians bragged about their crocodiles. And they said, that's why you'll never see or hear a frog in Egypt. The mighty God, crocodile, won't allow frogs. And God said, really? Let me just give you a frog infestation to let you know what you think is God is no God at all. The Lord has a way of answering what your enemy puts confidence in. When you put your confidence in him, are you hearing what I'm saying to you? So I had you underline three words in 1 Chronicles 10, 1 Chronicles 29 verse 11. Three words. What three words did you underline over there? Heaven, earth, and kingdom. One more time. Heaven, earth, and kingdom. So watch this in Matthew chapter six, verse number nine. After this manner, therefore, pray ye. This, he's saying, this is how I want you to pray. This is how I want you to pray. This is your habit, manner of prayer.
After this manner, therefore pray ye. Our Father, which art in heaven. Art means, that means he's well, you are in heaven. So where is our Father? In heaven. Hallowed be thy name. Holy, reverent, to be respected, honored, glorified, praised, majestic is your name. So I haven't, in verse nine, asked for anything. I've acknowledged who I'm talking to. And where his seat is. Glory to God. He's my Father, and his throne is in heaven. Now here's my first request, verse 10. Read up to the period and then stop. Ready, read. Thy kingdom come. One more time. Thy kingdom come. So if you drew a line between the king and the dom, D-O-M, dom is short for domain or dominion. So thy domain come. Thy dominion come. When you call on the kingdom, you're saying, King Jesus, your dominion come. You take dominion over this situation. You take dominion over what I'm facing. Your king, I know there's somebody thinks they've got authority, you take authority. Your kingdom come.
Now, if we weren't supposed to call on it, he wouldn't tell us to. I thank God for eternal life. I thank God for the kingdom of heaven. I have loved ones that are there. My mama's there and my daddy's there. I thank God for that place where we're gonna spend the rest of our lives. But I also thank God for the system that comes out of that place. That's not left me abandoned. That my only hope is that I die and go to that place. No, I have hope because that place has a power and a system that reaches everywhere. Where I'm at right now, all I gotta do is call on it. Thy kingdom come. Your will be done. On, oh, we didn't read that yet. Look at verse number 10. Thy kingdom come, read the rest. Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Now, circle three words and you ought to know which three words I want you to circle. Circle the word kingdom. Circle the word earth and circle the word heaven. You cannot talk about the kingdom and not talk about heaven and earth. So just because I'm in earth does not mean I'm alienated from heaven.
No, I am an ambassador of heaven. When Jesus redeemed me, my name was written in heaven. My citizenship is in heaven. That's where I'm from. That's where I'm going. Now, right now on the earth, I serve as an ambassador of the kingdom of heaven. My homeland is heaven. I represent heaven. And in heaven, there's no hate. And in heaven, there's no racism. And in heaven, there's no prejudice. And in heaven, there's no murder. And in heaven, see, I'm representing heaven in the earth. Now, notice you cannot call on the kingdom. Thy kingdom come, read it again, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. You can't call on the kingdom of God and not think that his will will be done. I think some people are scared of the will of God. Like the will of God, you know, is something to be scared of. No, the will of God is what's best for your life. When God made man in Genesis one, we get the record in Genesis one in verse 26, that the first gift God gave man was dominion. God put man in earth and gave him dominion. That's why God said, name everything. You can't name somebody else's pet. When you adopt an animal,
you go down to shelter and adopt an animal, first thing you do is give it a name. Why? So it'll come when you call it. That's why God said, name everything. You can't name somebody else's pet. That's why God said, name everything. Let me say it another way, you give it a name, so it'll answer to you. You can't name somebody else's pet. That's why God said, name everything. God put man on earth and said, no, I'm not naming everything, you name it. Why is God making man name everything? Because it's going to answer to man. That's why right now, I'm going to say this, it's going to liberate somebody. Right now, there is nothing in your life that you have to be addicted to. You say, I can't stop smoking, I can't stop drinking. No, there's nothing in your life you can't stop doing, because whatever it is that you call yourself addicted to came out of the earth and God gave man dominion over the earth. When something has you, that's backwards. You can have anything that doesn't have you. God don't mind you having things, it's when things have you. Now, I didn't just authorize a bunch of illegal stuff, I understand the context of what I'm talking about. I'm trying to liberate somebody to thinking that something that grows, they're addicted to. No, when God made man, he made him head and he named everything because it would be subject to him. Psalms 8 records this when the angel observing this says to God, what is man that thou art mindful of him, for you have crowned him with honor and glory. Well, I trust that you were blessed by the ministry of God's word.
Do you know that today you have tuned into one of over 75 of our television broadcast across the nation, five of which are international programs. I can't stress the importance of our hearing from you. This communicates to us that we are being good stewards in the placement of this program. It is our mission to reach more people in more places and more ways, and I long to hear from you. As a matter of fact, I want to sow into your life, my book, Jesus the Aleph Tav. It fully captures the heart of this ministry. Our vision of preaching Jesus as the manifested word of God. You will see Jesus in the scripture, I assure you, and it's my gift to you. All you have to do is write or scan the QR code. The information is on the screen. When I hear from you, I'm going to send you my copy of Jesus, the Aleph Tav as my gift just to hear from you. That's how important it is for us to know that we are reaching you with the ministry of God's word. So I look forward to hearing from you and pray that you're being blessed through our ministry efforts. Give yourself the home field advantage. When you treat people based on the kingdom of God, you bring those people into your domain where King Jesus operates.
