I’ve loved exploring the subject of God’s empowering presence with you. As our community has been growing, we’ve had a beautiful journey.

In this episode, I’ll be answering a few questions:

1. How do we increase our capacity to receive grace & is the old man the same as the sin nature?

+ Grace is empowering presence; it is in us because Jesus is in us.

+ Grace is in every situation that we are in.

+ Our sin nature is dead; it died with Christ, and our new nature rose with Him.

+ We have a sin habit, not a sin nature.

+The Father elevates the new man to conform us to the ways of Jesus.

+ You crucify the flesh by ignoring it and focusing on the new man.

2.What does alignment with the Lord really mean?

+ Confession is the same as alignment, especially when we confess a promise back to God.

+ Every time we acknowledge every good thing in Jesus, we’re coming into alignment.

+ God creates alignments in how we see, think, speak, and act.

+ When we give God the preeminence, we’re coming into alignment with how He wants to make us in His image.

+ Jesus lined up with the Father, but only saying what the Father was saying and only doing what the Father was doing.

+ Alignment is about watching and listening to what God is doing.
