From time to time we’ve received questions on the translation of Luke 2:52 that I use. Most translations of Luke 2:52 says of the young Jesus, that He increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

But the Greek word for “favor” (charis) is translated as “grace” over 130 times in scripture… and only 6 times as “favor.”

Enjoy soaking in this episode and then take some time throughout your week and in the coming days to feel the shelter of His grace and respond to His empowering presence.
