In Part 1 of our new collection *Crossed Paths*, we look at one of the most powerful encounters in Scripture—Jesus and the woman at the well.

On His way to the cross, Jesus intentionally crossed paths with people others avoided. In John 4, He steps into Samaria, breaks cultural barriers, and reveals His identity as the Messiah—not to a religious leader, not to a crowd—but to an outcast.

This wasn’t a coincidence. It was a divine appointment.

Through this story, we see:

• Jesus goes where others won’t

• He creates margin for what matters most

• He initiates conversations

• He values the one

• He proves that no one is too far gone

The first person Jesus clearly reveals Himself to is someone the religious world had written off. That’s not random—that’s the heart of God.

And here’s the truth: her story is our story.

Jesus still crosses paths with people every day. And He invites us to do the same. Who in your life might need an invitation? Who might be one conversation away from encountering living water?

Easter is coming. Don’t underestimate the power of one invite.

Key Scripture: John 4:3–42
