Why I Want to Go to Heaven | Greg Hubbard

What an amazing morning this has already been. It never gets old watching Jesus save a soul. Never gets old, huh? But joy the worship joy be with you all and we've been stalking you guys in these last several weeks And I've mentioned every service and I've been so blessed by the ministry of Pastor Josh and Allison What an amazing couple God has raised up to lead this great church. So believe that, shout a big yes If you believe that right now You know when they walked out a moment ago, I saw it last night I saw it at the 930 service. My favorite thing is when they walk out He always gives his wife a hug. How many have noticed that? And I like that and Just I just appreciate their spirit I just just love their kindness and I love being with all of you. And so what a joy be with you guys So it's alright with you. I'm just gonna jump into God's Word this morning And in believe God to touch people if you're in the mood for something kind of down kind of heavy Kind of depressing whatever you can like leave right now if you want to leave and we will really so you can do it Because this morning's all good news. There's a lot of bad news going on in the world right now I've got some good news for everybody breathing in this room I want to speak for a couple moments this morning on the place called heaven It's from Revelation chapter 21 and verse number one it goes like this Then I saw heaven a new heaven and a newer for the old heaven and the old earth that disappeared and the sea was also Gone and I saw the Holy City the New Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven like a bride Beautifully dressed in her for her husband. I heard a loud shout from the throne saying look God's home is now among his people He will live with them and they will be his people God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes There'll be no more death No more sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever and The one sitting on the throne said look I'm making everything new And then he said to me write this down What I tell you is trustworthy and true and he also said this it is finished on the Alpha and the Omega The beginning in the end to all of our thirsty. I will give freely from the springs of the water of life It's amazing passage revelation

God gave John a vision there on the Isle of Patmos him a vision of what was to come In the verses that we just read We're given a powerful picture of the hope of heaven and God speaks were through this passage reminding us The promise that's awaiting every single believer that's in this room on the Sunday morning You know, I think about going to heaven I also think of the famous words in John 14 the words of Jesus himself in John 14 1 when he said this Don't let your hearts be troubled trust to God trust also in me There's more than enough room in my father's home If this were not so I would have told you that I'm going to prepare a place for you When everything is ready, I love this when everything is ready. I will come and get you It's that you will always be with me where I am and you know the way to where I'm going No, we don't Lord Thomas said we have no idea where you're going So how can we know the way and Jesus told him on the way the truth and the life? No one could come the father except through me imagine Jesus both those words there and during a night of turmoil for the believers and Uncertain about their future and and that night the betrayer was revealed so much was happening The cross was imminent the hearts were certain Jesus spoke to them about the place called heaven Why am I speaking this morning about eternity very simply the latest statistics just came out about death One out of one of us have got to go Breaking news Let's the rapture happens this morning if the Lord carries you're going to die You're thinking Greg, thank you for the picker-upper. I really appreciate that this morning But some Bible tells us it's appointed a demented day once it then comes judgment And so this life most of what we think about it's all around us what we see our plans our future But this is all very soon going to end and the day will come for every person breathing in this room I promise you it's gonna happen Well, the only thing that will matter is what's who did with Jesus now think about that the moment's gonna come for some sooner than later, where the only thing that will matter

is that you open your heart and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior. And so because we're all gonna someday leave this world, you might wanna know, after this life, there's only two destinations. Not three, not four, not one, but two. The Bible is very clear, of the place called hell and the place called heaven. I've realized in recent weeks and I've been looking at eternity and preparing to speak more about heaven. I've mostly spoken as an evangelist about hell. What an awful place and how God doesn't want you to go there and you need to know this, that God doesn't want anyone in his room to die and go to hell. That was a perfect spot for a big amen, come on. God doesn't want anyone in his room to die and go to hell. Ah, there you are. Some say, Greg, there's three places. There's heaven and there's hell, and this isn't not where I'm looking to make any enemies or offend people. I say this gently and I say it with kindness and I mean this. What, there's no place called purgatory after you die. There's no in-between place where things work out, you might slip into heaven in the side door. The moment, listen, there's no such place as a place called purgatory, except this. I was once in a church, I wanna say it was in Maine, I'm not 100% sure about this, but this happened.

I was greeting people before church, doing the shake hands to greet people, and I said to the woman, where are you originally from? She says, I'm originally from purgatory. And I'm thinking, well, wait a minute, come back again with that one, please. What did you just say to me? She says, I'm from purgatory, and I guess there's a town or something, but when you die, there's no such thing as a place called purgatory. The moment your heart stops beating, the moment the doctor pronounces you dead, actually, even before, the moment you die, it's either heaven or the place called hell. This morning, our focus is why we should all want to go to heaven. The first reason's simple. I think that, I know for myself, I wanna go there, and I think that you wanna go there, because it means that we're with Jesus forever and ever and ever. He spoke about this in Revelation 21 three, how he heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, look, God's home is now among his people. He'll live with them, and there will be his people. God himself will be with them. So Jesus will be with Jesus forever in the place called heaven. I love Psalm 16, verse 11.

You'll show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence, and the pleasures of living with you forever. And again, in John 14, we read a moment ago, verse three, it talks about I will come and get you, that you'll always be with me where I am. I know when you think about heaven, we'll talk about this one later, there's no more death there, there's no more tears, there's no more sorrow, there's no more pain, there's no more cancer, there's no more abuse, there's no more terrorism. Folks, heaven is gonna be a wonderful place, but those are the benefits of heaven. But the beauty of heaven is Christ is gonna be there. The moment you accept that Jesus as your savior, the moment of your salvation, you're never, never alone. Do not confuse loneliness with aloneness, because there may be times in life you feel lonely, but the true believer is never, never alone, because you are now the temple of the spirit of almighty God. But I didn't know this. I get saved at 17, no church background, my dad was an athlete, sports was our basketball, was our family, but I'm 17, I go to church because a girl asked me to go. A girl asked me to go to church. I didn't care about church, didn't care about God, I'm being honest with you, but a girl said,

will you come to church? Yeah, I've done this before, I'm sure. I looked at her and I said, I will go wherever you want when it goes, when I told that girl. I went to church that night, and Jesus saved my soul on a Sunday night. I got rocked by the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. My sins, God could take you to the spot in Springfield, Massachusetts when Jesus Christ washed my sins away. But I didn't know, I knew something happened, but I didn't know the full deal. I thought you accept Jesus as your savior comes into your heart, but I thought that Jesus like hung out at the church all week. And like, you accept Christ and whatever, your sin's forgiven, but then you go home, school, life, work, and I thought Jesus hung out at the church, he like vacuums between the pews and the seats, he picks up gun rampers, and then by Saturday night, he's looking for people in the parking lot, whatever, and they're gonna come. I had no idea, the moment I, Salvation God came to live inside of me You are the temple of the Spirit and folks remember those moments as a new believer Would you be kind of experience the presence of God? That's why she says Thomas tells us and his presence is fullness of joy And it's one hand pleasure forevermore my friend once you experience the presence of Jesus You can go back, but it will never compare to the beauty of being in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ

I remember I remember years ago my sister Nancy Was diagnosed with cancer and she's gone through so many things and I remember when we were traveling in Which I just felt so bad with her getting her chemo treatments and had a full mastectomy and if I wrote all kind of cancer She's still living today and and love love Jesus with all of her heart and serves God at the church up in Massachusetts But I said to Nancy Nancy your chemo treatments. I'm sorry that I can't be there with you I'm sorry that I can't because it's a tough time her husband I walked out on her and and with all the things that she was so broken, but she just puts broken people back together again And I said to Nancy Nancy I'm so sorry that you're alone during your chemo Treatments sitting in that chair when the chemo goes under your body and it helps you but then the side effects in in my sit Just start with tears. She said Greg. I had no idea that my chemo treatments would be the most beautiful times I've ever had with Jesus. I said, what do you mean? She said Greg when they hook up the the tubes or whatever in the port and I get the chemo and sit in that chair Under a blanket. She said my first session. I was so frightened, but the presence of God came down in that room She said I could just sense God in that room. She said she actually Greg I wish to come with me too But she said I've never been alone for one single second because the presence of Jesus is with me always That's one reason Why I want to go to heaven Because Christ is going to be there the one that saved me the one that never gave up on me. Come on How about you Jesus is going to be there and that's one reason I want to be there and I feel believer That's one reason why you want to be there, too The second reason sir, excuse me. Excuse me in the front row. Am I talking too fast or anything? If anything just go like this if it's getting too weird, okay, I'm serious. Would you help me out, please? I might not pay attention, but do it anyhow, okay The second reason I want to go to heaven He's gonna be there, but there are no tears there There are no tears in heaven It tells us in our text in Revelation 21 forward. He'll wipe away every tear from their eyes What's amazing about this statement is that Jesus was also on earth very familiar with tears

Listen tears are part of all of our lives Some of come in this room this morning and you're carrying a weight and a burden that you didn't ever even dream Maybe a year ago. There's some marching in line and say Greg. I I'm going to a time of severe trial Jesus also knew tears It tells us a mouth at 26 38. He told them my soul is crushed with grief To the point of death stay here and keep watch with me John 11 33 to 35 says this when Jesus are weeping. This is about the story of Lazarus He saw the other people wailing with her a deep anger wound up within him. It was deeply troubled Where have you put him? He asked they told him Lord come and see it says at 35. It says then Jesus wept Luke 1941 says this but as he came closer to Jerusalem and saw the city ahead He began to weep So Jesus is acquainted with tears And for those in this room, that's a Greg. It's I can't wait for that day. Well my tears are listen He sees your tears now. He bottles your tears now, but in that day in heaven He's going to wipe every tear and you'll never ever cry again Somebody shot a big. Thank you Jesus. If you're glad that tears will soon be gone forever and ever and ever But for now but for now There's disappointments and there's death and there are goodbyes and there are funerals and there's this crisis and there's earthquakes There's terrorist attacks this the murders and the terrible things that happen Our friend tears are a part of all of our lives You know It's an amazing thing when you look at life now when the struggles and all the battles and but the good news about heaven is The thing is that make you cry down here are not going to be allowed up there I'm gonna say that for those the back roads. My friend, the things that make you cry down here are not going to be allowed up there. The day's gonna come when Jesus Christ is gonna wipe away the pain and the brokenness

and the grief, and it will never, ever impact you ever again. You know, you may not know this, but APC Health, my wife and I, with Mission Support, we're either in America or in India, or Romania or Zimbabwe. I just got back from Zimbabwe a couple days ago, and we were in Romania in April, and also in the summer. But two days before the April trip, a village that we now minister in called Poiana was struck by a fire. This is a poor, gypsy village. They live in, like, shacks. Well, I'm talking poverty. It'll blow your mind. But a fire ripped through at midnight, and 21 homes were destroyed in a matter of minutes. The pastor of that church, a good friend of mine, was walking up the streams and all the noise, and he was literally pulling people out of their homes. Thank God nobody died that night, but everybody lost everything. We were there, again, there, walked through the rubbage and the rubble and all of this. We're there back for three weeks in the month of June into July, and we're walking through the rubble. We saw a woman weeping, just looking at what once was her home. Maybe you've gone through this.

I can't imagine that in one second, everything's gone. And when you have little to begin with, but it's gone. But I want you to watch this video clip because it just reminds us of the agony and the tears and the struggles that go through, but also that there's a living, loving God that sees our tears and a God that meets all of our needs. I know sometimes you may give and wonder, like, what is your goal? Well, these houses, this is where the fire took place that took out 21 homes and that people lost everything. Thank God nobody perished in the fire, but we're standing right outside a home that belonged to Rosaria, and she loves the Lord with all of her heart. She lost her home and we're walking by and she's weeping and looking at her home, but she has no idea the miracle that she's in for. She's gonna have a better home than she ever had before. It was right over here to my right was her home, but now it's all gone. But the rebuilding process will begin very, very soon. Some have already begun, but soon she'll have a new home and the Lord's gonna bless her

beyond anything she ever imagined. So thank you for praying and thank you for those that gave so generously. We love you and we appreciate you. God bless every one of you. When I walked by her home and saw her, amen, the Lord is faithful, amen. We walked by her home and saw her sobbing, just looking, we just stopped and loved on her for a little bit. And by the way, this is not like a fundraising event. Listen, you've already been giving every month, but funds came in, everything's come in. Every house is gonna be rebuilt for the glory of God. The process has already begun. Yes, the days are gonna come when God will wipe away her tears forever, but in this life, God cares about you. God sees you and God knows you and God loves you. She has no idea through her tears what she sees is the wreckage and all of the rubble, but she's gonna get a home that we're already buying the refrigerators and the beds and the couches, a place she never dreamed she'd ever have in this life. How come? Because our God is a good God, come on. Our God is a faithful God. So you, Alison Parr, have a role in what's happening in the village of Poiana.

So I wanna go there, I wanna go there. I'm going there. I want you to go there because Christ will be there. There'll be no tears there. Another reason I look forward to heaven is because there'll be no separation there. The Bible tells us again in our text that it'll wipe away every tear, there'll be no more death, no more sorrow, cry, pain, all these things are gone forever. There'll be no more death. James 2.26, just as the body's dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works. We focus often on the second part of that verse, but it's true, the first part, the body is dead without breath. 1 Corinthians 15.26, and the last enemy to be destroyed is death, the Bible says. In 1 Thessalonians 4.17, then together with them, this speaks to the rapture, we who are still alive from man on earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we'll be with the Lord forever. It says we will be with the Lord forever. One reason I can't wait to go to heaven is because the. be no more separation. I'm just gonna let you in a little bit. You know, someone said you only share your strengths

and your victories that you build fences, but when you share your weaknesses, you build bridges. Rob and I are usually always together. I love my girl. We were married this year. We just celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary. We're newlyweds, come on, we're newlyweds. And I can say this, I'm not being goofy and weird, but I love that girl more right now than I did the day that she walked down the aisle. Let me just stop for a second. I gotta take care of something. Where's the camera? It's right in front of me. I love my mother-in-law. Okay, I'm back to the message. I'm back to the message. Why'd you do that? Because I'm not an idiot, that's why. Boy, I'm apart from Robyn, man. I'll tell you, I don't do well. We're usually together on every overseas trip, but maybe the once a year, I fly with some other team members alone, whatever, overseas. The first half of the trip, I'm just joking with you, I battle serious separation anxiety. It smothers me. Because this thing, and maybe you say, Greg, well, I'm disappointed you don't have more faith.

I mean, God gives me vitriol, but I gotta kind of walk through this thing. It just, but I battle this. I'm just, without Robyn, I'm a big baby. At the church, I love, at the church, listen, at the church, I'm jumping on my van, I'm shooting home to my girl. Just got back from Zim, and she's exhausted from Zimbabwe and such. But I am ready, I cannot wait tonight to be back with my girl. I don't like separation. I feel bad leaving you guys. I just like being with you. I don't like farewells. None of that in heaven. No separation. No more death. No more dying. But we will be with the Lord forever and ever and ever. And not just that there'll be no more separation, but we are going to be together. You have loved ones that have died that were in Christ, and how many got people in heaven right now? Wave a hand at me right now. Listen, you might last saw them with weakness and sickness. There have been a better day than anybody in this room right now, I promise you. They're having a really good day. Can I get an amen?

Because heaven's a wonderful place. But imagine this idea of the fact that we're going to be reunited with loved ones. You got people you can't wait to see. I've told you in other visits that we lost three babies, my wife and I, and never got to ever hold them. But I will see in heaven my kids. I can't wait to see my kids. I want to hold them and whatever, and just what will they be? I don't care if they have a full beard in heaven. I'm going to give them a great big hug, I'm telling you right now. Somebody will walk up and go, sometimes you're not going to know who your kids are. Well, let me tell you something right now. I believe I will. And when I see them, I'm going to give them the biggest hugs. But Greg, you're not going to know your kids, glorified body. No, I'll know my kids. They'll have very large heads. They talk very fast and spit flies out of their mouth. They will be my children, I'm telling you right now. But to see them, but to see them, to be with them. Man, I miss my dad. You would have loved my dad. Six foot seven, great athlete. He always laughed like this, ha, ha, ha, ha. Kind of goofy, I know, but when you're six foot seven, you can laugh any way you want to laugh.

A gentle man, a kind man. He would have loved APC because your theme is for the one. Come on, somebody say for the one. One day, my dad looked at me as a little kid before we were even believers. My dad looked at me, a family walked down our street. My dad was friendly and kind and gentle. And when a family walked down the street one day, my dad looked at me and said, son, don't you ever forget what I'm about to tell you, that everybody matters, everybody. When I'm in some remote village in Africa or Romania or talking to some little girl rescued from trafficking in India, I think, dad, you're so right. Everybody matters. What a day that's going to be when we see Jesus face to face and we are reunited with those who've gone before us. I can't wait to be in heaven. I want you to not wait to be in heaven. Jesus will be there. There'll be no more tears. There'll be no more death and no more separation. I'm gonna end with this one more. Many of them, but just one more. I can go, Pastor Josh, this service ends usually at 4.30, but I'm gonna end right now. No sickness there. No sickness in heaven. No cancer.

No lower back pain. No more tumors, no more any kind of cancer, no more diabetes, no more disease, but glorified bodies that will last forever and forever and ever. Some mornings I wake up and I feel like the Tin Man on the Wizard of Oz. If I wake up like that, you think, oh, help me, Jesus. Just help me, Jesus, you know, just oil can, oil can. Forgive me for the Wizard of Oz reference. I apologize if I offend anybody in the room. But no sickness, no pain. It tells us in 1 Corinthians 15, 42, it's the same way with the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they'll be raised to live forever. Our bodies are burned in brokenness, but they'll be raised in glory. They're burned in weakness, but they will be raised in strength. They're burned as natural human bodies, but they'll be raised as spiritual bodies. For just as there are natural bodies, there are also spiritual bodies. In 1 Corinthians 15, 51, but let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we'll all be transformed. It will happen in a moment, the speech of the rapture, in the blink of an eye when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds,

those who have died will be raised to live forever, and we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die. Our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies. So the day is coming very, very soon when you're gonna receive a glorified body that will last forever and forever and forever. This is a place called heaven. Jesus said, I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go, surely, he said, I will come again, that where I am, you may be also. So all of that to end with this, all of that for this. You going? You going? Are you going? Will you be there? Do you know for sure? Are you absolutely certain with faith that's rooted in the rock, the word of God, and faith in Jesus that you know, that you know, that you know that when you die, or if the rapture happens, it could happen right now, are you certain that heaven will be your eternal home? The sobering truth is not everybody is going. Not everybody's going to hell, and not everybody's going to heaven, but only those who put their faith in the person of Jesus Christ, his death on that cross for your sins and mine,

his resurrection from the dead. And someone will think to their heart right now, well, Greg, preach, sweat, spit, talk too fast, do your deal. We're all going, we're all going, because we're all God's children. I hate to break the news to you. I'm not saying this trying to be arrogant or in your, but we're not all God's children. It never once says that in the Bible. We are not all God's children. Hearing that's kind of upsetting, I get that. What we are is, we are all God's creation. But John 1 tells us, to as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become children of God. The moment you received Jesus Christ as your savior, you became a child of almighty God. Your name is now written in the Lamb's book of life. Revelation talks about this. Well, I believe God may take a nail for a pen and use blood for ink, and writes your name in the book of life. For every person that's given their life to Christ, your name is in the book of life. Whoever's name not found in the book of life, Bible Will never go to heaven But will find their place in the lake of fire And please hear this. God doesn't want one to perish That's Bible. He wants all to come to repentance

God wants all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth So again, I ask you Are you absolutely certain That the seconds you die But the rapture happens this today Do you know that you know that you know? Heaven will be your home This is where you think we're good this is the part of the ending because you're ending now and I am but this is the part of the message because we got the keyboard playing by Pastor Aaron and my book America's most anointed gifted youth speaker in all of America. I've only but I really believe that about that guy. I Really believe that Reaching young people to see them in heaven. We want to see young people saved all over America all over the world So something well, this is we got the soft keyboard this is when you're gonna close you're gonna ask people to receive Jesus man Maybe ten years ago, but no no more. I don't do that anymore What do you mean you don't you don't ask people well, you know, I feel like a young puppy I'm 67 There's still a lot of tread left on the tire. I'm telling you right now But I feel an urgency in my spirit asking people done now I beg people And I'm begging you tonight I'm begging you right now I'm pleading with you Don't miss heaven There's nothing so good going on on your life down here that can make miss heaven not be a big deal I'm officially almost upon it making it awkward. I am pleading with you this morning in this room To not walk out those doors With our first making sure It is well with your soul Today in this place The Savior of the world is calling your name

He's strong you by your spirit and the one that says what Greg, you know, if I want to make that decision I'll do whenever I want to Impossible. No one can get saved whenever they want to it's only by the drawing power of the Holy Spirit And he's drawing people right now He's talking at your heart This conviction God thumping his love all over you He's dumping his goodness for the Bible says it is the goodness of God that brings people to repentance So today I am begging somebody in this room even just for one To make that decision today to say today I'm gonna open up my heart and I'm gonna ask him to forgive me my sin for we have all sinned and come short of God's glory today can be your day to make life great decision It to seal that you have a walk with Christ and that heaven will be the place You spend all eternity in I'm gonna ask you a favor. Would you stand all over the room this morning? What this afternoon whatever time but would just stand in this room and don't touch your car keys to pick it you touch your car Keys the lightning will shoot from heaven over your chair It's one stand and just by your head you close your eyes and Not out of embarrassment, but out of reverence and respect Because in a moment, I'm gonna count to the number three I'm not looking to be manipulative. I'm not looking this is not like gimmick. I'm not trying To begin a race with children in a school playground It's often on your mark and get to go in the race begins today I'm the count of three to make the decision to begin your walk with Jesus They say sin, I don't want you more. I don't want to live in sin. I want to be forgiven I want to know I want to know what it means to follow Jesus So salvation isn't just giving God your sins It's giving God yourself and and taking up your cross it and actually following Jesus So I'm gonna count the three your heads about your eyes are closed If you're already following Jesus if you're already following Jesus I'm gonna ask you to not raise your hand. Everything is cool. Just pray quietly But for the one in the room today that says Greg, I'm not right with God

If I die today if the rapture up Greg I Am not certain Where I will spend eternity That's why Matthew 24 25 the theme of those chapters is about being ready Be ready be ready be ready for the son of God men will come at a moment you least expect. The theme in those chapters is make sure you're ready. Make sure you're ready for the coming of the Lord or the day that you leave this world. If you're not right with God, do faith in Jesus and say, Greg, today this has been for me, because Greg, I'm not sure where I'll spend eternity, but today I want to make that decision to ask Christ to come into my heart and become my Savior. If that's you, when I say the number three, I want you to give the devil a heart attack and raise your hand as high as you can and wave it at me. And by raising your hand, you're saying, Greg, today, keep me in prayer, because today I'm going to make life's greatest decision. I'm going to make my decision to receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Savior. For the Bible says, whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. If it's you, not right with God, but you want to be, the moment I say three, I'm going to count just one to three. I want you to raise your hand as fast as you can and say, Greg, it's me. Today's my day to make sure that heaven's my home. I'm going to count to three, and we're finished. Here we go. Here we go. One. Two. Three. Great. Lift it up. Lift it up. God bless you. Lift it up high. Lift it up high. Anybody else? I'm looking around this room. I'm looking for you. Wave it at me. Wave it at me. It's dark in here. Greg, it's me. I'm not walking out the way that I walked in. Anybody in this place? I saw one. Anybody else? He came for the one, but he also came for you. Anybody else? Say, Greg, it's me. I'm not. God bless. I see you, man. I'm not. You say, Greg, I am not walking out the way that I walked in. Here's what we're going to do. Those that lifted up a hand, I saw one. I may have missed, but if you raise your hand a moment ago, there's something about a physical response to a spiritual decision. We should never be ashamed of surrendering our lives to Christ. When Jesus died for you and for me, he didn't die on a hill, on a garage, in somebody's shed. He died on a hill where the world could see him. Unashamed, Jesus died on the cross because he loves you. So I want to ask any that raised their hand to do what we ask people around the world to

do. We're not going to make you come up on the platform and say anything, but there's something about that public response to a spiritual decision to follow Christ. If you just raised your hand, or if you didn't, but wish you had, I want those that lifted a hand up to quickly leave where you're standing and come face to me, standing right in front of me. You're here right now. I want you to come. If you raised your hand or you didn't, I want you to come quickly right now and we'll clap while you come. Anyone in this house, I want you to come. Anyone in this house, we're only going to wait a moment. If you raised up a hand, I want you to come right now. Anybody at all, anybody at all this morning, we're going to cheer you on in the name of Jesus. Come on, somebody clap for this one here right now. Somebody clap for this one. Anybody else, anybody else, I want you to come. It's so steady and so much respect, the courage. I know we're going to pray in a moment, but you know what? I've got a four-hour drive in just a few minutes, and I do not want to spend one second in that van going home to see my beautiful bride. To think, was there one more? Was the one more person maybe that close? And I'm going to give you today what somebody in hell would give anything for. That's one more shot to get this right. Well, Greg, no one's going to walk up now because people think they were chicken and scared. Are you kidding me? Somebody walks up now, the roof is going to come off this room. So, forgive me if this appears too dramatic, forgive me, I guess, but I just, I just know this, that God wants none to perish, but all to come to repentance. I told you before, I'm not going to count to three, but I'm going to give you 10 seconds. If you know you belong at this altar, 10 seconds, you've got to move now. Jesus is about to save souls. If all the angels rejoice over one salvation, heaven is going to go nuts in about two minutes. I want those at the altar and those back in your seats to close their eyes, lift up both hands and surrender up to the Lord just as an act of surrender. He stretched out both hands and let them put nails in both hands. We can lift up both hands. I want to lead you out loud in a prayer, a prayer to help you receive Jesus because the only comes in by the way of invitation. So when I lead you in a prayer, I want you to pray it out loud. Not just these up front. I want everyone in the room to pray. This will not damage anybody in this room.

Don't just repeat the prayer, though. Believe it with all of your heart. You're seconds away from becoming a child of God. With hands raised, pray this out loud in faith. Here we go. Dear Jesus, I'm asking you right now to do what no one else can do. To forgive all my sins, commit to my heart, and save my soul. I believe in my heart and I confess through my mouth, you are the Son of God. You died on the cross, then rose up from the dead. I receive you now as my Savior, as my Lord, and as my God. I choose to follow you now all my days. Help me to never look back, to never go back, but to walk by your side. I thank you, Jesus, for the gift of salvation, the gift that heaven will be my home. So I thank you right now for saving my soul. In your name I pray, amen. Can we give God a standing ovation right now? Come on! One more shout! One more shout! One more shout! Just the keyboard for a second. Just the keys. We're going to end with this. We're going to close. I know it's almost time for breakfast tomorrow morning. I know. We're going to close in prayer. They've got literature for you, some things to help you, for what it means to truly follow Christ. This church cares about the one. They care about you. And we don't just want to see decisions, but God says we're going to make disciples. We're now to become followers of Christ, and APC will help you. What does it mean to truly now follow Jesus? So I'm going to close in prayer, but not just for them. I'm going to pray for all of you. Like God gives you a great day today, and somebody buys you lunch today. Come on. Someone shout amen for that. Come on. And look at the person next to you before you walk out and say, God just told me you're supposed to buy me lunch today. And things might work out for you, but we're going to close in prayer for your unsafe family. How many got loved ones not ready for eternity yet? We're going to pray for them. When we're done, the team will start singing. The altar will be open for anyone that needs prayer for healing, for whatever it may be. Because you matter to God Lord we submit these folks to you now I pray that you would keep them. I pray for fruit that remains. Oh Lord today they've opened the heart to you and I thank you Lord your words If anyone is in Christ, the old is gone and the new is come I thank you for the miracle in front of our eyes right now the many miracles of you saving a soul I thank you that now heaven will be their eternal address Because of you deep in their hearts, may they follow you all their days And I pray for everybody breathing in this house save entire families Save that unsaved husband the unsaved wife save that son that daughter that uncle that aunt God save that niece I pray for miracle

salvations in every family represented in this house so father We thank you today for the gift of salvation and we say with John even so Come quickly Lord Jesus bless this house.
