Why Am I Lonely?
Loneliness is a human condition that is not easily defined, but is something that people young and old, married and single, extroverted and introverted experience. It can feel like depression, anxiety, or even exhaustion. It can be an inevitable ache for one in the presence of good things, people who love and care for you, or even during one's deepest joy. Even Jesus often experienced loneliness, particularly when His friends could not wait with Him in the garden, and when He was on the cross. Loneliness reflects a deep craving of the soul due to a lack of connection, and tends to illuminate a spiritual condition.
