After His resurrection, Jesus ascends into Heaven before His disciples, as angels appear and promise that He will return one day. Filled with awe and faith, the disciples return to Jerusalem. There, they gather with other believers in the upper room, devoting themselves to prayer as they await the coming of the Holy Spirit.
