Thou Shall Not Kill | Road Trip | Pastor Tim Payne

Family road trip, great vacations? Sounds like the rest of y'all need vacation. I always say, you know, it's like vacation when it's you and your spouse. It's an experience with the whole family. I hope y'all had an amazing summer. We love road trips, for real. We love, love it. You guys can get away, get rested, be with your family. I think all that honors God. I believe everything's spiritual. And I believe, man, taking time to get away, I would love that. I love that you guys are back. Some of you guys have been out. I'm glad that you're back. And let me tell you what, our gatherings are like, last gathering, this gathering is packed. And so, glory to God. What we need to do is we need to move some of last gathering and this gathering to earlier. And I feel like with football coming, that may be easier. We need to move some of y'all to the 8 a.m. gathering to open up more seats. I'm talking to people that like, you come here, you're true blue momentum. We need more seats. We need optimal seats at optimal times to continue to grow. Because people that need to come, like we all do, want to come, they won't come if there's no seats. So part of what I'm praying about, part of what I'd like you to pray about, and we really do, we need to shift these middle and last gathering shifts. Some people stack that, and the early, it's half full, it's half full. So we got room for you. And then we're probably going to need to add another gathering. We have figured that one out.

But how many thankful God's in the details? God's got it, man. Let's go. Man, we're so blessed. Family road trip. This one's number six. 15 commandments, thou shalt not murder. Should be the shortest message. That's how I memorized it as a kid, thou shalt not kill. Don't do it. Okay, any questions? Jesus messed us all up with amazing grace. We heard last week about He's the God of the mess, He'll meet you in the mess. Wasn't that an amazing message, Pastor Jim? He texts me today, he prays for me every Sunday morning, he texts me, he said, I'm praying for you, I love you, Pastor Tim, from Africa. And I said, love you, Pastor Jim, I love you so much, thank you. And it's good having you. He said, I said, I hope your trip goes great. And he said, man, Africa is good. He said, but being with Momentum was real, real good. He loved being here last week. I'm thankful for God's amazing grace. If you haven't tasted, you haven't seen that the goodness of God makes all the difference. So today, there'd be an invitation to come to God's table and just come and dine. And that means anyone, anywhere, at any time, you're welcome. God like already paid the bill, He already paid the price, He already did it, you just get to receive it, are you with me? So when it comes to grace, we all want grace because we all need grace. And you may say, I'm a, you know, I don't believe in Jesus, I'm agnostic, I don't know

who I believe in. You may be an atheist, you're like, I don't believe in any God. But the truth is, you know there are moments and times in your life where you need what you don't deserve. And when you're required to give what they don't deserve. And that really would be what grace is, unmerited favor. And so here's a beautiful thing about God's grace, is grace is amazing, but grace also lifts the bar. Grace stacks the plates. Grace adds. So it's not something that I gotta do, but grace raises the bar. And you say, what are you talking about? Well, in Exodus 20, verse 13, it tells us that we should not murder. What about wars, Pastor Tim? Well, the Bible says to everything, there is a season. There's a season. Romans 13 teaches us about, it teaches us about authority. And so do I believe this verse is telling that our country should never go to war? Our country should, no, I'm not, I don't believe that. I believe like for everything, there's a season. I'm thankful for our heroes, men and women, men and women, home and abroad. Thankful for our police officers, law enforcement. And that's what Romans 13. So before. It's easy to give an opinion, but you want God's truth to shape your opinion, not your news channel to shape your opinion, the Bible. And so the Bible tells us that God raises up those in authority and it's only the people doing wrong that got a problem with the people. You with me? Not everyone's perfect.

Hear me out. But I'm telling you, there is a time to protect. There is a time where law enforcement steps in because they have to. Someone wasn't doing wrong. They wouldn't have to. Let me get a strong amen on that one. There's a time for us to defend our country from people who would want to kill your children. And don't apologize. But this thou shall not murder means you just don't go walk around and you don't take people's lives because you can, because God is the author of life. We're made in the image of God in a likeness of God. That's the original NIL name, image, and likeness. You are made by God for God to serve God with a purpose. And so God says, no, no, no, it don't, you don't get to go around and you don't just take people out. Don't kill, don't murder. And that should be the end of it. We all get to lunch early, but then Jesus messes us up. Go to Matthew chapter five. Look at this first. Now this is Matthew, one of the disciples quoting Jesus, who is quoting Moses. You get the picture? Matthew quoting Jesus, who is quoting Moses, who is actually quoting God because God's the one that gave him the 10 commandments in the first place. That's what you call full circle. Look at this. You have heard that our ancestors were told. You must not, you must not, not 10 recommendations, not the 10 suggestions, the 10 commandments. You must not murder. By the way, I'm thankful in a lot of States that this is getting back on schools, is getting

back in, in courts. It's getting back because this is what our country was built on was the 10 commandments. You missed that one. Go back and watch it. But you've heard, you must not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment. Jesus being quoted here by Matthew. Next verse, please. And then Jesus says, Matthew tells us, Jesus said, but I say, but I say, if you're even angry with something, what, how we go, how we go from murder to anger. Jesus in this moment connects murder to anger. You ever wondered how does someone kill someone? How does, how does a parent kill their kids? How does a husband kill his wife? How does a wife murder her husband? How does a grandson kill his grandparents? Sick, wicked. You don't have murder without anger. In fact, if you go to Genesis chapter four, verse five, the first time anger is recorded in the Bible, it's telling us a story about a guy named Cain and a guy named Abel. They were brothers. This ought to scare us. This was the first family. Adam, you ever heard of Adam? Eve? That was our mom and daddy. So we go right here in the first house and murder happens. Cain takes his brother out. Why? Verse five tells us Genesis chapter four, because God had rejected Cain's offering.

They were to bring an offering to the Lord, just like you're to bring an offering to the Lord. The Lord tells us how to do it. This was God's way. And God said, this is how you're going to bring, and God is detailed. How many mama and daddies learned that it's really good to be detailed with your children? When it comes to direction, the difference is the details. You don't say, come home tonight, let's be home by 10, 955, I'm looking for you. Just give that direction. And when God gives direction and we don't receive the instruction, God gives correction. So God corrected Cain because Abel brought his offering to the Lord, the first and the best of his first fruits. What he brought in, he said, the first, which is the best, the first belongs to God. I'm going to return it to God. Here's my offering to the Lord. And the Lord received it and was pleased with him. By the way, when you do the same thing, the Lord's pleased with you. He's pleased with you. Because obedience is the very best way to show that you believe. Cain did it his way, he's like, okay, here's some crops and that strawberry, I wasn't gonna eat that patch. It's a little mushy on half of it. Here God, here's what I'm giving you, and lettuce, you know, don't be eating that stuff right now. Hey God, you have this stuff. And God rejected it, and if you think rejection from a person stings, imagine the creator of the ground, the dirt in which you sweat to bring forth an offering, but you didn't do it right, and you got correction, because you didn't follow direction. And it made him angry, and it made him angry at God, and then here's the thing about anger, you don't get to compartmentalize anger.

You can't be angry at God and not angry at people, and you can't be angry at people and not eventually angry at God. You don't get to compartmentalize it, it leaks, it seeps. And Cain got so angry, and here's the thing about anger, the longer you let it go, the more it begins to grow. And it will grow and it will consume you. What you just let go grows, huh? Anybody picked weeds? Sprayed for weeds? Anybody went on vacation, came back, you're like, what in the world? You sprayed right before you left. Anger takes over, it will consume you. Anger equals danger. The only difference is the D in front of anger, you put a D in front of anger, you got danger. Anger equals danger, because anger can take you places you never thought you would go. How does somebody take another person's life? You know that there are, watch this, there are good people in prison. And they took someone's life, never thought they would do it, never dreamed they would do it, but their anger got the best of them. And by the grace of God, that could be some of us. Because there's a moment where you had row rage. But the grace of God. Here's a good thing to say instead of judging others, by the grace of God, there go I. There's not a, listen, the moment you think I will never do that sin, devil already got you pinned and you don't know it. You already scoped, you just lucky he ain't pulled the trigger yet. School hadn't started yet. So I throw that ain't in there one more time. You with me? You just lucky he hadn't fired.

There's a Lord protecting, it's mama's prayers, granddaddy's prayers protecting you. Don't ever think I'll never do that sin, buddy, devil already got you. Because he's a father of all lives, he already got you believing. Next step, sin station. Anger equals danger. And Jesus tells us, let's look back here. Jesus says, if you call someone an idiot. Anybody want to confess? See you thought you're off the hook today. I thought I was off the hook today. I was like, come on, God, a couple of weeks ago, I'm getting ready. I'm talking through this weekend, a couple of weeks ago, like, man, oh yeah, this should be the shortest message. Don't kill. Any questions? Let's go. And then the Lord remind me what Jesus said, where he raised the bar and he said, if you call someone an idiot, now let me tell you something. I've called people idiots before. Have y'all? Who? First gathering acted perfect. How many flip somebody off? Raise your hand. How about this? Let's see. Let's see who can be honest in the Lord's house. How many forgot you had a Christian bumper sticker or momentum bumper sticker on the back of your car and you go, oh, what was I doing? I'm going to pass out some of my other friends that are passing, I'm going to pass their

stickers out, all right. I've never flipped somebody off, but there was a day that middle finger wanted to come up so bad, so fast. I'm serious. Wednesday night, youth activity. There's a, it was Wednesday night's youth and, um, we called it apex. We had hundreds and hundreds of high schoolers, middle schoolers, high schoolers, common. God had done a word. So many getting saved. So many getting baptized. We had a jacuzzi, jacuzzi for Jesus. I baptized a six foot nine NBA basketball player in that little golf cart. I mean, you couldn't fit in that thing in third grade. You know what I'm talking about? We baptized, we are baptized students left and right. I'm driving home. I'm on like. Glory, hallelujah, you know, I'm like love lifted me. I'm like Jesus is good I'm like on one of them moments ride my crotch rocket for the glory of God go on the speed limit Amen go on the speed limit. I'm right. I'm just enjoying and I see a minivan It's like a two-lane Two or three lane and it's just me on the road like 930 I see minivan and I you know, there were people in the church not the church funds But there are people in church for my 50th. They bought me a Harley-davidson and it was a major praise God Glory, hallelujah heaven came down a glory filled my soul And I love that for me. It is just so amazing. I love riding that away from people My stress just melts I'm telling you man. Mmm But every time I get on that motorcycle brother praise I Pray before I leave and I pray when I get home. The first one is a prayer of protection

Next one's a prayer of Thanksgiving. So I made it. I've seen a lot of wrecks. Normally not the motorcycle It's a person didn't see him. So I pray and this is how I pray and leave in men's prayer breakfast yesterday By the way, we had a crowd in a crew men's prayer breakfast I'm so proud of you men. Our men are stepping up. Our men are being shaped and conformed to the image of Jesus We had men praying with men. We had hot worship. We had a smoking good breakfast Yeah, I mean anytime you get connected, come on, you know, God loves you. It was amazing breakfast. We had a good word and It was holy yesterday and as I was leaving when the guys like be careful past him I said I will I said I pray and then I told him how I pray. Here's how I pray We're talking about don't call someone an idiot. I Say Lord protect me from dumb drivers Drunk drivers cuz drunk driver killed my mama protect me from distracted drivers I had a woman almost try to run me off on the way to men's prayer breakfast putting on her makeup She was leaning for hey, she was doing this and I'm like she coming in my lane. Whoa We've all been distracted haven't we? Hey, by the way, listen guys, I'm I know this is church What a great opportunity to tell you it's the pastor. I love you. It ain't worth it. It's not worth it That text can wait It can wait man It can wait that may be a word for someone here today You addicted to it It's just not worth it, man Just eyes on the road in front of you, so anyway, so I pray God protect me dumb drivers distracted drivers What else guys dumb drivers distracted drivers Women what drunk drivers God protect me from dogs running out deer debris Bears, I live in Gulf Freece, Florida. I was on my Harley and like a 700-pound bear came out looking for what a burger You know, I like I just pray Lord protect me from all of it and then God keep me from being dumb God don't let me be distracted and I pray that and then I pray God's angels over my motorcycle God from the north south east and West God you gave us authority You said you have all authority then you gave us all authority God command your holy angels in the name and power of Jesus to get around this motorcycle and protect me from every one of those The enemy would want to take me out pray that over your vehicle man. We go on vacation

We pray over tires engines transmissions. We pray God get us there and get us home safe in the name of Jesus We plead the blood of Jesus the Bible says how do we overcome the enemy? By the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony, so I plead that I do Lord protect me Harley Davidson will sell you a bell. Did you put underneath the Harley Davidson scare the demons? Away, but I want to tell you something. I got something better than the Harley Davidson Bell underneath my motorcycle I got the angels of the Most High God around it and I'll say a bragging I Just tell you and then I get off. Thank the Lord for a safe trip. But this one day I'm on my motorcycle We see each other we see each other for 10 seconds and I'm confident that many van ain't gonna pull out and Then I started wonder Started creep up a little bit. It's just me on the road and Then that driver pulled out right in front of me. Had I not been driving motorcycle for a long time. It had been a bad day Shirt that thing over next thing. I know I'm going 55 miles an hour in the median. It's wet. I'm fishtailing I mean, it's like a sleigh ride, baby. I'm holding on praying in the mighty name of Jesus Get back on the road, no road rage here, you're an idiot. That middle finger, no, not today, I said not today, please, not today. And Jesus says, go back to the verse, Jesus said, but if you call someone an idiot, you're in danger, you are in danger of being brought before the court. Everybody's watching. And if you curse someone, you're in danger of the fires of hell. Why you got to do that, Jesus? Why you got to link, we're talking about murder, and then you got to talk about anger. And see, we thought we were off the hook, and then Jesus goes, right between the eyes of all of us, because we all have either struggled with anger, we are struggling with anger, or we attempted to. Anger equals danger, just don't do it. When you, listen to me, it's okay to be angry, number one, take notes, I want you to write this down, I want you to write this down real quick, this is going to help you. Anger isn't sin, anger is not sin, Jesus was angry at his disciples, and Jesus never sinned. Anger is an emotion, it's a God-given emotion, it's not wrong to be angry, it's human to

be angry. Anger is not sin, but anger is the gateway to sin, it's the gateway to sin, that's what it is. The Bible tells us in James 119, be slow to anger, it says, be quick to listen, be slow to speak, be slow to anger, just be slow to it, why? Because of what happens when we get angry, understand this, my dear brothers and sisters, you must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to get angry, why? Because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. So you can't be godly and stay angry, it's okay to be angry, there are things we should be angry at, should be things we get angry about. God in the Bible tells us God gets angry at sin, Bible says we're to hate sin, like there are things to be angry about, but you don't stay there, because it will burn you, it will hurt you, it will control you, anger is not sin, it's not sin, but it's the gateway to it. So just be slow, right, anger's not sin, one, two, James 119, be slow to anger, number three, number three, anger becomes sin, how do I know when, like I'm struggling with anger, but I feel like it's justified, how do I know where's the line with anger and sin, anger becomes sin, when your anger controls you, which means you lost control. Then write this down, write this down, I met with a counselor years, many years ago in Tampa, David Clark, and he gave me this definition for anger, this is really good, write this down, it says anger is a temporary, temporary, I mean how we go from like, woo, heaven to, so fast, doesn't it rise up, anyone here, don't raise your hand, please, anyone here you go from zero to a ten, and you wouldn't want to raise your hand, but the people sitting next to you already know, already know, they're praying for you right now, they're interceding right now, and isn't it funny, because we always think like someone else needs this, and we, anger looks better on us than it does on someone else, I'm going to pay someone for that laugh, thank you for laughing, anger is temporary, automatic, emotional, and physiological reaction to our, to a perceived threat to our needs, so we have a threat of loss, might be a threat to your self-image, someone embarrassed me, I remember my best friend pulling out my chair in front of everybody in the cafeteria, because he thought it'd be hilarious, let me

tell you, it was hilarious, for everybody else, and he only did it once, when it's a threat to our needs, to our beliefs, it's a threat to our dignity, our values, our way of life, my buddy in wild at heart in Tampa, was next door neighbor to one of the the tag team partners of one of the, probably top two greatest tag teams in professional wrestling, Ed Furner. This guy had roid rage, been on roids for a long time. He had the anger, he couldn't control himself, and he was just hateful. And this guy started out having a heart for his neighbor, pray for my neighbor, pray for my neighbor, pray for my neighbor, and then it was pray for me, pray for me, pray for me, because I'm so angry at my neighbor, right? When someone does us wrong, it's so easy for us to feel that injustice. What about when your friend gets cancer, your relative dies, or the person you don't like at all got the raise, got the promotion, got your office, or the window, or someone cuts you off, and then turns two seconds later, and no one was behind you. Need I say any more? I'm preaching, come on. Don't tempt me with a good time. I'll see you, Gracie. And here's what we're tempted to do with anger. We're tempted to stuff it, spew it, but we need to speak to it,

because if you stuff it, it will come up, or should I say it will come out. And we can be so angry with people over here at work, but then somehow that anger follows us home. Next thing we know, we pouring out. We angry over here. We're pouring out on our kids. The people closest to us sometimes receive the most of us in this unhealthy area. We can stuff it. You can only stuff it for so long before you have a mental breakdown, before it affects you, your mental health, before it affects your physical health. You get heart disease, blood pressure, not always, but often, this is documented. This is facts. Tends to people not let, depression, oftentimes is tied to people who are angry and bitter, and they won't let go. Like I cut grass for a woman who they bought stock in Coca-Cola as soon as the stock was released, and her husband sold it. And 60 years later, she still had not, and he'd been dead for 30. She still had not forgiven him. And I heard about it every time I cut her grass. Same story, same woman, same dead husband, same lost opportunity, and she was still miffed about it.

We just hang on to it. So you can stuff it, or you can spew it. And when you spew it, you'll hurt people with the weight of your words. For James chapter three says that the tongue can set the whole world on fire. And what we do when we get angry, we open our mouth. Why do we do that? Anybody been there recently? Anyone wanna raise your hand for the person beside you didn't raise their hand? And when we spew it, our volume gets real loud. Just woke somebody up. Welcome to church. The volume just gets crazy, and our tone gets so nasty because we just spew it, man. But the right thing to do is to address it, to speak to it, to process it. Don't open your mouth till you've thought it through. There's a time for everything. In fact, everyone would think you're wise. I read a proverb one time, it said, everyone thinks you're wise till you open your mouth and give them a reason not to believe. So think it through, take your time, process it. But the biggest thing is take your anger to God. God, I'm angry about this. God can handle your anger. You can't. God can't.

God knows you're already angry. God's not gonna go, oh my, really? I had no clue. God's gonna say, keep it coming. Is that all of it? Give it, give it, give it, give it. Come on, more, more, tell me what else. God, God wants it out. If you're an angler, you know what it is to feel sick in the gulf. You know what it is to feel like, oh no. And then you're like, here it comes. And then there it went. And you know how you feel better when you get it all out? Same thing with anger. But don't do it to other people about people. Don't talk to other people about the issue that you have with this person when you never followed God and you went to the person. You know what Christians do? Christians don't. Follow Jesus here, woo-hoo, night of worship, sign me up. Go to the person I'm angry at and talk it out. No, thank you very much, they're an idiot. And Jesus closes the loop on this. Jesus says, if you got an issue with a brother, you go to them. And if you know they got a problem with you and they're not coming to you, you go, well, how come they haven't come talk to me?

Well, if you know they got an issue, how come you haven't gone and talked to them? That's a double stinger, woo. It gets us on both sides. And what was Jesus doing? He was closing the loop so anger doesn't get to live. That's what Jesus was doing. Thank you. We had a bird when we first got married. I said, we had a bird. We gave it a Bible name, Elijah. Elijah's one of my favorite Bible characters. This was a beautiful bird. Stephanie loved this bird so much. And there was a point where I did love this bird. And there was a point when I didn't. That incredible, beautiful bird would, I often wonder if that bird was from hell. I was like, I'm telling you, this bird's been, this is demonic right here, you know, this is what I'm talking about. That bird at Christmas time would fly to the Christmas tree. We'd play Christmas music and Elijah would bop his head and he'd whistle and he was just so happy. We loved the bird. I know, all right, just wait, just wait. I got a story for you. That bird had reigns to our house. It would fly all over and I'm not talking, I'm not going where you think I'm going.

No, no, like it wasn't that kind of a mess. Steph would be in the bathroom, you know, this is our first place. She'd put her makeup on, getting ready. I'm in there brushing my teeth. It'd be on her shoulder, happy, happy, pretty bird, pretty bird, dancing, bopping to the music. It's just the coolest bird, till it wasn't. And so I said, come here, buddy, come here, come over here. I put him on my shoulder and I said, come here, come over here. I put him on my shoulder and Steph would look and she'd smile, she'd be like, oh, pretty bird. And as soon as she'd turn her head, that bird was like, I'm gonna take a bite out of crime. That bird would launch into my cheek. I got scars, I'll show you afterwards. That bird, right out of my, what are you doing? Every single time. She'd look, be on my shoulder, he'd be like, and what Steph didn't know was he was like, just wait. Because in a minute, I'm gonna give him the business. She'd turn around, that bird, take another piece of my cheek. I'm trying to win this bird over. It wasn't working. I got so angry at that bird. I was like, come on, Chick-fil-A, come on, KFC, somebody talk to me, I got a deal for you. He heard about the windows of heaven being open.

I was ready to open the door and just say, let it go, go, come on, fly away, fly away, bird. I could tell you more stories, but that little bird, not a parrot, parakeet, little bird, pretty bird, pretty bird, that little bird got the best of me. I would dream about how I was gonna send that bird to heaven. Got a BB gun. And he would love you. I wish this was like a parable, like an earthly story with a heavenly meaning. There's a real cold, hard truth right here. I was so angry at that bird. Every time I pick him up, every time, come on, he'd take a bite out of my hand, just mean as a devil. Mean as a devil, every single time. The hand that fed him, he would bite now all the time. My anger was so much directed at the bird. I wanna ask you a question. What's your little bird? What's your little bird? What's that thing that been pecking at you for a long time? Who is it? Were you struggling and something that began so small is now so big and it has consumed you? What's your little bird? Bible tells us to get rid of it. This is the fourth and final point. It's found in Ephesians chapter four. It says this, get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander,

as well as all types of evil behavior. That's right, get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger. You could actually read this backwards. Slander is talking about anger. Slander is talking. and about people to other people, not to them. Then you can have harsh words with them. Then it just ferments so fast. That's what bitterness is, is anger that is fermented. Then it goes from anger to rage. And from rage to deep down bitterness. And the Bible tells us like bitterness is the worst. So we're to get rid of all this. And instead, what are we to do? Be kind one to another. Next verse, be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God, for Christ's sake, has forgiven you. We're to forgive other people. So the antidote here is you speak it. And it's not wrong to feel it, it's just wrong not to address it. It's wrong to stuff it, it's wrong to spew it, but you gotta speak to it, you gotta meet with that person and say, I'm really angry at you, and I need you to listen first. I need to get this out. And then I want to listen to you. I want a mutual respect here, but I'm telling you,

because you know there's always what, two sides in what they say, the truth. We all have our perspectives. We all have our memories. And sometimes here's the God honest truth, you get angry enough, you don't know what you said. You don't know what you did. God says just get rid of it, get rid of it. So here's what I know, we're all guilty of this. And here's what I know, there's a loving God in heaven who doesn't want you to get heart disease because you won't let it go. There's a good God in heaven that doesn't want you to come down with this or with that because you're hanging on and you refuse, you refuse to not be angry, be angry and sin not. Don't hang on to it, what's your little bird? Who are you angry at? How long has it been there? What are you angry about? And are you ready to do something about it? Are you ready to get rid of it? Like some of us, like we hang on to things. If you're not careful, you can become a hoarder of all the reasons you deserve to be angry. And then we all wonder, why is this world so angry? Because they didn't get rid of it, they held on to it. Because they thought they deserved it. And God says, no, no, no, get rid of it, dump it, get rid of it.

So who do you need to talk to? What do you need to let go of? What needs, what mess needs to be addressed so you don't stay right there? That's my question. Would you stand please? Would you all stand with heads bowed, eyes closed, prayer team coming, prayer team coming down front. If you're here today, listen to me, this is not a like shame on you. This is not a shame on you. This is kind of like if you breathe, like we've all had anger, we've all been there. And I'm gonna do something Lord put in my heart in between last gathering and this gathering to do it different. So I'm gonna follow Jesus here. Lord put in my heart that this gathering, last gathering we had people down front, gathering before we had people down front. But I know this is one of those where it's like, you don't wanna walk down for adultery. That's next week, right? I'm struggling here. But I really just believe if we'll humble ourselves, like healing will come. What the Lord put in my heart is just to tell you if you're struggling with that right now, to come forward right now. So I'm gonna ask you to do the bold thing right now.

God bless you. Now the dam's breaking. The Lord gave me a vision of a lot of people that stand down here. Not a few, not a handful, a ton. And I would say, go with God because you don't know what hangs in the balance. You don't know what hangs in the balance of your obedience. Right now, for some of you, it's your mental health. For some of you, it's your physical health. Some of you are going through divorce and you walked out of divorce. They screwed you over and you are so angry and you are going to crash the plane if you don't get over this in Jesus' name. Some of you are so angry because God took somebody. You're angry about, or someone got sick and you're angry about. Hey, Jesus says, bring your anger here.

Bring it to me. I invite you to come. So I'm so angry because you got a relative. It's just always, always just bring it right here. Some of you are angry because you've got a business partner. They hurt the company. Or you've got a neighbor, man, you can't get along with. You're so upset. Some of you, you are so angry at the person you're sitting next to, but in church it looked good. But in your heart, it's not good. Some of you are so angry at your parents. You're so angry at mom and dad right now. You're just so angry, and some of us parents were so angry at one of our kids. Maybe they let you down. Maybe they didn't listen. Maybe they let the family down. Maybe they brought shame to your family, and you're struggling with it right now. I want you to come. I want you to step out right now. There's healing here. There's no condemnation down here. No condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. There's just healing. I want you to come. Healing is here. The hardest step is that first step. The hardest step is getting past the lie of the enemy. What will people think? Well, if I do this, then they're going to know that I know that I'm wrong.

The hardest step is just that first one. Come pray. Healing's here. I believe the Holy Spirit is saying there's more of you right now, and you're resisting the Holy Spirit right now. So the Holy Spirit says to you, come. Come now. This is your moment. If you don't deal with this anger, this anger is going to deal with you. So come now. Come now. And then if you're here and you're not a Christian, you can become a Christian today. It's nothing that you've done or could do. It's everything Jesus did. His blood was shed to wash away your sins. You've been running from God as hard, as fast, as long, as strong as you can to get away from God, and God, His goodness and mercy has been trailing you. He's right behind you. He's not giving up on you. You've tried to be a good person. You've tried all the things, and you don't have peace with God. Today's that day. The Bible says if you'll confess with your mouth that you're a sinner, if you'll believe in your heart that Christ died for your sins, He was buried and rose again, and if you will declare that Jesus is Lord, you will be saved. You'll be born again. You'll become a child of God. So I want to invite you today, everyone watching, everyone watching our online campus, everyone watching in Blackwater, everyone watching through the Pando app, everyone here in Pensacola, today's the day of salvation.

I'm going to lead you in a sinner's prayer. I'm going to ask you if you've prayed it for the first time or you've made sure of it this time to raise your hand. We're going to clap.
