The Only Way to Be Satisfied in Life
If you’ve been running on empty, feeling thirsty for more, or wondering why nothing seems to satisfy… this message is for you.
We’ve all been there, pouring ourselves into relationships, work, goals, or even habits, hoping this will finally make us feel full… only to wake up empty again.
In John 4, Jesus meets a woman who knew that cycle all too well. She came to the well with an empty jar but left with something she didn’t even know she was searching for—living water that never runs out.
This week, Pastor Stu Hodges unpacks how we’re all walking around with a cup, hoping someone or something will fill it. But the truth is, only Jesus can. And when you turn your cup up to Him, He doesn’t just fill it, He causes an overflow!
Action Steps
Name what’s empty. Where have you been trying to get full but keep coming up short? Be real—Jesus already knows.
Turn your cup up. Spend intentional time with Him this week. Even five honest minutes in prayer can change everything.
Live in the overflow. Don’t just hold it—share it. Invite someone, encourage someone, let the joy show up in how you love people.
“For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” — Psalm 107:9 (NLT)
