Today on power in the world You made them rulers Over the works of your hands you put everything Under their feet how many of you know that we've been made rulers of all things Of all the things that he made and created you and our rulership in them. Are you ruling or you get ruled on? Are you raining or getting rained on? Think about it a minute now Are you really ruling because the blessing of the kingdom is a miss is not as a misconception not in manifestation It's a misconception in mind and relation. You are exactly what you think Welcome to power in the word Many times you hear believers say I'm blessed but yet not knowing the depth of that blessing So today dr. Norris shows us in the Word of God How deep the blessings of God are and how we can unlock the blessings and walk in the fullness of God It's a powerful teaching you stay with us and be encouraged So tonight we're going to talk about the kingdom blessing and I'm gonna start in an unusual place But I want you to go to with me the Proverbs chapter 22 we're gonna begin with verse 6 and we're gonna be talking about the kingdom blessing. So look at somebody say I'm blessed How do you recognize you're blessed? It's not but what you see It's who you belong to Right. It's not what you got that makes you blessed. It's what's got you Okay, so we're gonna we're gonna start at some unusual scriptures tonight and I know it's gonna sound funny You say what's that got to do with this? But you're gonna find out in just a minute, you know, the Holy Spirit spoke to me something very powerful not before last I was I was I'm a kind of a bachelor here for the next several weeks and and I was laying in bed and and I can play the stuff loud when Anita's not there and so I had had had the pop this YouTube pro thing going and the Holy Spirit spoke to me and he said He said I want to tell you about the golden rule And you all know the golden rule, right? The golden rule is, you know doing to others as they do unto you

He said but son, that's not what I'm talking about He said what I'm talking about is the one that has the gold rules And if you think about it a minute, so I said well Lord show me that in Scripture He said I'll be glad to so let's go to Proverbs chapter 22 Verse 6 and 7 and we're going to talk about the kingdom blessing Now how many of you know you're blessed just because of the kingdom that you're in He said train up a child the way he should go and when he's old He will not depart from it and that don't sound like the blessings does it I mean I've ever heard that before raise up a child away should go and he won't drift away when he gets old, right? Okay, but look at look at verse 7 The rich rules over the poor and The borrower is a servant to the lender So he who has the gold rules, right? So how many of you know that he the rich? Rules over the poor all our lives, right? I mean, I mean a juice was born rich You said well pastor prove that well think about a minute. They come to see him at three years old and They brought him gold frankincense and mirth that didn't mean there was three wise men That just means that three that they brought him three different things now We've taken that as three wise men came, but that Bible never says that So we understand they brought him enough if you go look at Josephus Teachings what they brought Jesus at three years old was enough for him to live the rest of his life Why because they were bringing stuff to a king you didn't go in a king's presence without bringing a gift to him and the Bible said Give a man's gift makes room for him, right? So you never went to see a king without bringing him a gift Now you couldn't go before the king unless you brought a gift Now think about a minute Esther wanted one night with the king So for a year she prepared for that one night or you prepared for a meeting with the king because all you need is one night Now go meet of Romans chapter 5 verse 17 for if by one man's offense death reigned through the one much more Those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will what? Will reign in life are you reigning now that is a word that means

What kingdom? So if you're going to reign in life, how are you going to reign? You're gonna reign through the king that through the one Jesus Christ, so we know that we should be reigning in life not reigning under and not getting rained on But reigning in life. We ought to be above and not beneath We ought to be blessed in the city and in the country. We ought to be the head not the tail We ought to be first and not last Right, so we ought to be reigning in life He says why because of the finished work of Christ you and I ought to be reigning Are you reigning or you're getting rained on? Seriously, are you reigning or just getting back? Now I want you to be honest with me tonight because the manifestation of what you believe if you really believe it It's going to show up in your life Now go me to Psalms 8 and I'm setting you up for some stuff here Now I want to read this in an NIV because I want you Let's see it in a little different text. Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth, you have set your glory in the heavens. Now listen, he set his glory where? How majestic is his name. Now look at verse 2. Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to Silas the foe and the avenger. Now how many of you know, according to this, that through praise you can beat your enemies? You can set your enemies to flight. You remember in the Old Covenant when he told them, he said, get your praisers up front, and get your praisers up front and get your battle men at the back because you're going to praise your way through this stuff. See there's sometimes, listen, anybody can praise when things are good, but the real praisers are praisers that praise when things ain't good. See that's the difference because he said I'll put a stronghold against your enemies and Silas the foe and the avenger.

See when you're thinking about your problem you can't be thinking about Jesus. Now look at verse 3. I want to say something here. When I consider your heavens the work of your fingers and the moon and the stars which you have set in place. So David said, when I think about all the things, the work of your fingers, the moon, the stars, and all the things that you've set in place, and I consider the heavens. Now watch this. Verse 4. What is mankind that you're mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? Verse 5. You have made them a little lower than the angels. Now we know the word angels here is Elohim. And crowned him with glory and honor. Who's he crowned with glory and honor? How many of you know you're crowned with glory and honor? Look at somebody and say I'm honored and got glory. Now watch this. Watch verse 6. You made them rulers, say rulers, over the works of your hands you put everything under their feet. How many of you know that we've been made rulers of all things? Of all the things that he made and created, you and I are rulership in them. Are you ruling or are you getting ruled on? Are you reigning or getting reigned on? Think about it a minute now. Are you really ruling? Because the blessing of the kingdom is a misconception, not in manifestation, it's a misconception in mind and relation. You are exactly what you think. Never gonna rise above what you think. I'm gonna give you a revelation. Tuesday morning I woke up and I was reading some scriptures about Jesus laying hands on people and and what he done with talking about healing and those kind of things. And all of a sudden I was reading the part where Jesus took the spittle and he spit on the clay and he put it in the guy's eye. And I thought, why in the world do you spit? And then it came to me. And the Holy Spirit said, I'll tell you why. And I said, I wish you would.

He said, how do you find out what your DNA is? He said, the reason I put spit on him is I was giving him my DNA. And I was opening his eyes to my DNA and who I am. He said, you're trying to read something technical into it, there's nothing in it, except I'm doing exactly what I said I was going to do. What am I going to do? I'm going to reveal myself to you. I only come to reveal myself to the Father. In other words, I only came to earth to reveal the Father to you. He said, so what I was doing with this man that was blind, I told him to go wash in the pool of Siloam seven times, which was a prophetic fulfillment of an old covenant prophecy because they had to sanctify everything seven times and sprinkle everything seven times. He said, I told him to go wash in the pool of Siloam seven times, but I'll give him my DNA. So when he went and washed in the pool, which was symbolic of the Holy Spirit, his eyes would be open to the DNA of who he was. He said, I really didn't heal him. I just showed him who he was in me. Oh, man, come on. And so what's happening in the body of Christ is we haven't determined the blessing of who we are in Christ, that we hear that, we say, oh, yeah, I'm all that, I'm all that, I'm all that. Where's the manifestation of all that? Where's the manifestation of it? Why? Because we don't understand that we have his DNA now. Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, even the heart of man of things that God prepared. But the Holy Spirit's going to do what? Give you eyes to see and ears to hear that you'll hear the heart of God. Think about it a minute. So he opened this guy's eyes so he could see. Are you with me? But the young man had a step of faith to do, to go wash in the pool. Now watch this. Go with me to Proverbs 13 in the Amplified. A good man leaves an inheritance of moral stability and goodness to his children's children, and the wealth of the sinner finds its way eventually into the hands of the righteous for whom it was laid up all the time. Think about it a minute, guys. What have we been prophesying?

That all the blessings and favors are coming to you in 2026. But it's not going to come as long as you're not looking for it and you're not expecting it and you're not operating for it and believing for it and releasing faith to have it until you release the faith to believe that what God's promised is going to happen. it's yours, you're never going to have it. Because you're going to sit around and say, I don't deserve it. Well, I'll tell you what, what have I done wrong? I must have done wrong. What's going to happen next? You've got to change your mindset to live in the stability of who you said you are. Why? Because God's laid everything up for you. And it's eventually going to come to you in the hands of the righteous for those it was intentionally laid up for. Everything was laid up for you, not for the wicked. Say amen. Now, go to Ecclesiastes 2 and 26 in the Amplified. Watch this. For to the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy. But to the sinner, he gives the work of gathering and heaping up that he may give to the one who pleases God. This also is vanity and striving after the wind and feeding on it. What's he saying? He said everything's intended to you. The workers are just working for you. They don't even know it. The wicked are working so you can have the blessings of God because they were intended for you. But see, we're not expecting it to happen. We want to go to the mailbox and walk in there and have it. You've got to talk to it. You've got to speak to it. You've got to confess it. You've got to claim it. You've got to talk to it. You've got to speak it. You've got to claim it. You've got to talk to it. You've got to speak to it. You've got to claim it. Because you're the king on the earth and the righteousness is going to flow through you. God's not trying to get something to you. He's trying to get it through you. See, we've got to understand that God's prepared everything for you. It ain't just about coming to church and surviving. It's about walking victorious and being an overcomer and being more than a conqueror.

He didn't just make you an overcomer. He made you more than an overcomer. He didn't just make you a conqueror. He made you more than a conqueror. You're the life. You're the source walking around. You're the Jesus after the resurrection. Man, think about that again. You're the Jesus after the resurrection. Jesus didn't do anything on earth compared to what you can do. All the miracles Jesus done was before the resurrection. You and I got after resurrection power. We're operating as a son of God instead of the son of a man. Because of the resurrection and the fulfillment of what God's doing. Listen to me. Change your way of thinking. You've got to change your way of thinking. You can't think like everybody else. Listen. What's going on inside of you and around you is going to determine who you are. But if you let what the Word of God says you are and everything around you will line up with what's inside you. Because everything that's around you is because what's on the inside of you lines up with that. If it was not lined up with what's on the inside of you, it couldn't stay around you. Somebody say praise the Lord. I want to go to Ecclesiastes 2 and 26 in the NLT. Watch this. God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please Him. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, God takes the wealth away and gives it to those who please Him. This too is meaningless like the chasing of the wind. Guys, do you understand everybody's working for you? But we don't have that mindset. We're working for everybody. We're just trying to get by, man. We're just trying to make it another day. How many times have you ever said, I just made it through another day. Praise the Lord. I'm just trying to get by, man. I'm trying to hang on. I'm trying to survive. Think about it. He said all the wicked that's working is gathering up stuff for you and it wants to be yours, but you got to know it's yours. It's eventually going to come to you, but a lot of times it comes after we're gone.

Think about it, because our thinking ain't right. Go to 3 John 1. Go to 3 John. Beloved, I pray that you might prosper. In what? Let me help you understand something. The Holy Spirit is just not going to tell you spiritual things. See, God wants to teach you everything. The Holy Spirit's come to teach you all things and bring all things. The Bible said, I pray that you prosper in all things and be in health just as your soul prospers. How's that going to happen? He wants you to inherit all things. Remember Hebrews? He wants you to know all things. He wants you to inherit all things. He wants you to prosper in all things. That sounds like a pretty good blessing to me, doesn't it to you? Why? Because I want you to be blessed. And the blessing of the Lord will make you rich and not add any sorrow to it. Proverbs 10.22. God wants you to be blessed, but you got to change the way you think. That's not about gold faucets and all that. That's not what I'm talking about. He wants you to be blessed to bless the kingdom. Remember what the first scripture I read? You ought to leave an inheritance to your children's children. Think about it a minute. Go over to Isaiah 60. Let me have you know who he's talking to here in Isaiah 60. Let me have you know he's talking to me and you. Arise and shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Come on, guys. Arise and shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. What did he say while ago? He's going to crown you with glory in what? honor. Now the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. Look at somebody and say, the glory of the Lord is on me. See, instead of you riding somewhere to see the blessings of people, they ought to come to your house to see the blessings of people. See how big God really is? I'm not talking about a 75,000 square foot house.

I'm not even talking about that. I'm just talking about the blessings on your life, the joy in your marriage, joy with your children, your grandchildren, your children. Your life ought to be a blessing that everybody comes and says, look, there's something special about this guy. Something special about this woman. Think about it a minute. Arise and shine for the light is coming. The glory of the Lord is upon you. Look at somebody and say, the glory of the Lord is upon me. How's people going to see the glory on your life? They're not going to see the glory on your life when you walk around and look like you've been run over. Think about it, man. We ought to be the most excited people in the earth. We ought to be happy. You're going to have your mamas. All of us are going to have mamas. Just don't let anybody see them. Look in the mirror every morning and talk to yourself until a smile comes on your face. So when you get out in the world, they can see Jesus. Let your light so shine that they may see the good works and glorify the Father which is in heaven. They ought to be able to look at your life and say, you know what, I want to hang around with that dude. Why do you think Matthew, Mark, and all them boys hung around Jesus? Why do you think Judas picked him a pretty good dude to steal from? Right? And why would Judas have picked Peter? He knew he had a bad temper, going to cuss somebody out in a flat minute. You know, Peter won't raise in the church if he didn't know that. But look at verse 2. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth and the deep darkness the people, but the Lord will arise over you and his glory will be seen upon you. Look at somebody and say, the glory of the Lord. You can see it on my life. You can see the glory on my life. Say, you can see the glory on my life. Listen guys, you ain't got no reason to be gloomy and doomy. You can see the glory of the Lord on your life. Look at somebody and say, you can see the glory. Can you see the glory on me? E.W. Kenyon, every year he had a guy to come from Australia. It was a friend of his that he went to Bible school with and helped start a Bible school.

And the guy would come every year and the first thing that E.W. would ask him, he said, can you see any difference in me? Can you see any growth in me? Now, most people say, well, he just wanted to see some works and get some affirmations. That's not what he was looking for. See, there ought to be something shining around you. There ought to be something shining out of you. If the glory of the Lord is seen upon us, then somebody's got to see it, right? Are we seeing the glory of the Lord in your life? Can anybody look around and get around you a little bit and see something a little different about you? Seriously now, I'm not kidding. Listen, I know it's internal, but there ought to be an external manifestation of an internal witness. Right? Now look at verse 3. The Gentiles shall come to the light and the kings to the brightness of your rising. And the kings to the brightness of your rising. Come on somebody, say I'm the rising. They ought to look at you and say, that's what we're looking for. Now watch this, go to verse 4. Lift up your eyes all around and see. They all gather together. They come to you. Your son shall come from afar and your daughter shall be nursed at your side. Look at verse 5. And then you'll see and become radiant. Your heart will swell with joy because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you. The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. Guys, come on. He's talking about the ungodly here, the ones that's gathering up wealth. And it's gathering it up because it's for you. But you don't have the mindset to receive it because we're looking around and trying to figure out, we're still stuck in what have I done wrong and I must get it right with Jesus. We don't know we're absolutely perfect with Jesus.

That we're some kind of something, blessed and highly favored. And the glory of the Lord has risen upon us. Listen guys, the glory of the Lord has risen upon us. They ought to see the glory of the Lord. The Bible said that because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you. In other words, what's he talking about? People are going to run to you to see what's going on in you. I heard a preacher tell me one time, an old preacher that married me and Anita. And he said, son, find you somebody that loves Jesus more than you do and hang out with him. And then he told me this, I ain't never found that person. But he told me this, he said, find you, listen to me, you catch on fire, people come and watch you burn. Why? Jesus went about doing good and healing all that was oppressed of the enemy because God was with him. Think about it a minute. Is it risen on you? Can you lay down at night and something's still stirring on the inside of you? When you want to go to sleep and your eyes are heavy, but there's something stirring because God wants to talk to you. Are you with me? Guys, we got to understand that the glory of the Lord is risen upon us. And we're in a different season of our life. We're in a different time in our life. Listen, there's something alive on the inside that's bigger than it's ever been alive inside of us. And that is the rising and the glory of the Lord resting upon us. That's what God's looking for, for you to take your place. Creation is crying out for the revealing of the sons of God. He's waiting for me and you to manifest and take our place. Look at verse 6, the multitude

of the Campbell shall cover the land, and the dromedaries of the Midian and the Epham, all those from Sheba shall come. Now, why does that say that? How many of you remember who Queen Sheba is? She came to see who? And the Bible said that she came and brought a herd of people just to see the palace and the glory of all the things that God had created. And the Bible said she looked at his servants and she said, look how they're dressed. They weren't walking around in slimy clothes. They were walking around looking like something waiting to happen. And she said, I walked in and they told me about your majesty and I stayed for six months and looked over the palace of all the stuff that you had. And even what they told me, it was bigger than what they tried to explain to me. Why? Because the glory had rested upon him. You and I gotta understand that we're not supposed to do things second-handed. We're supposed to walk in up class, up the right. The glory of the Lord ought to be upon us that the blessings of God will follow us around all the days of my life. And Queen Sheba came and she looked at all the things that God had done through him. And then here's what Solomon said. She set to listen to his wisdom, but she didn't come open-handed. She come, according to Josephus, and brought him 1.9 million dollars worth of stuff just to hear his wisdom. Why? Because she knew she was going before somebody important and she wasn't going to come empty-handed. See, we want knowledge for nothing. And look what happened. She gave him 1.9 million just to spend some time with him. She got ready to leave. He said, go out there in the sheds, not sheds, get everything you want. That's stuff I don't need. She left with 3.7 billion dollars worth of stuff. Why? Just spending time with him. They shall bring gold

and incense and they shall proclaim the praises of the Lord. What did she bring to him? She brought gold and incense and silver. Now go to Haggai chapter 2 verse 9 and 10. The silver is mine and the gold is mine, says the Lord of hosts. Verse 9. The glory of this latter temple will be greater than the former temple, says the Lord of hosts. And in this place I'll give you peace, says the Lord of hosts. And what's he talking about? The first temple was magnificent. Matter of fact, they brought so much stuff to Moses. Moses said, don't bring any more. But he said, the latter temple, which is me and you, is going to be greater than the former one was. Why? Because he gave us a covenant of peace. And here's what I want you to understand. He said, the silver is mine and the gold is mine. In other words, everything's mine. What we don't understand is he was telling you, I've brought you deity and I've brought you redemption. Now you can have everything because you're my temple. And that's why I didn't build my temple out of silver and gold in this place, but I built it out of the Spirit. And the latter temple is going to be greater and the glory of the latter temple is going to be greater than the former temple's been. Now under the order, they couldn't move in the temple. They stood still and couldn't even move for the glory of the Lord. But that glory didn't remain. This glory remains forever. That's the glory that's resting upon us. We are the gold and the silver, which is the deity and the redemption. We are the fullness of God's glory on the earth. We're the reason he died and resurrected. Nothing has been created without us. Listen to me a minute. God spoke this to me Monday morning. I asked the Lord a question. He told me this several years ago in a roundabout way, but I didn't understand it. But Monday morning I got it.

Jesus died and resurrected. He had to suffer to become perfect. And you need to get that. And I said, Lord, why did you have to suffer for you to become perfect? He said, because there was something missing in me when you won't in me. I said, oh my Lord, you need to get that, church. He told me several years ago, he said, there's insufficiency in me without you, Pete. So the reason Jesus had to come to earth and suffer and die in that suffering is so that you'd no longer suffer. And because of the absence of you in him, he had to die and suffer and resurrect out of that suffering so you'd be back in him. He said, Pete, that's what made me whole was you. Now stay with me. Hold on. I want to show you that because I don't want you to think, well Pete's made that up. Go with me to Hebrews chapter 11 verse 39 and 40. And all these having obtained a good testimony through faith did not receive the promise. Look at verse 40. God having provided something better for us that they should not be made perfect apart from us. Now watch this. God having provided something better for us that they should not be made perfect apart from us. In other words, those under the old covenant. could not be perfect without us. The us was what was missing out of God that he sent Jesus to earth to fulfill and now that where Jesus had to die and go through the suffering so that he would become perfect and we would be back restored. We were the restoration of his perfection.

Oh, Lord Jesus. You know how important you are? You know how valuable you are? Now think about it a minute. If the blood of Jesus is valuable, is it? How valuable is what that blood died for? Now if something is only as valuable as a person is willing to pay the price for, how valuable would Jesus think you were? But the reality is he couldn't become perfect until he died to make you perfect. Because you had to be perfect before his desire would be fulfilled and he could become perfect. Because without you he could never become perfect. Are y'all good? Now, go with me to Isaiah 60, verse 11. Therefore your gates shall be open continually. They shall not be shut day or night that men may bring to you the wealth of the Gentiles and their kings in procession. Now let's go to 2nd Corinthians 8 and 1 in the Amplified. Here's how it works. You ready? This is the part you ain't gonna like. You ready? We want to tell you further, brother, about the grace, the favor, and the spiritual blessing of God which has been evident in the churches of Macedonia, arousing in them a desire to give alms.

Has anything ever aroused you to give alms? Now, go to John 10 and 10 in the Amplified. I want to show you something. The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life and have it in abundance to the full till it overflows. See, that's how the kingdom works. The kingdom's only gonna work that way. You say, well, pastor, I go through some difficult times and I've been given. That's because he wants you to quit. Most people don't lose out because they stop giving. People lose out because they quit trusting. You can give and not trust. The Bible says in Isaiah 26 and 3, He that keeps his mind upon the Lord will have perfect, perfect peace. Why? Because he trusts Him. Do you trust Him? Think about it a minute. Do you trust Him? You know, there's certain things in my life that I've always trusted the Lord. I always trusted when my kids were being saved. I never prayed for my kids to be saved. Didn't have to if I was Scripture. Do you trust Him? Thank you for joining us today at Power in the Word.
