The Independent Spirit

This Sunday, Pastor Lyle launched our new sermon collection, Covenant Connections, with a message titled “The Independent Spirit.” Preaching from 1 Samuel 13, he challenged us to confront the subtle ways we resist God-ordained relationships, with Him and with others. We learned that spiritual independence might feel like strength, but when it leads to disobedience and disconnection, it's actually pride in disguise.
