The HEART of Worship

On Sunday Pastor Nate continued our series “This is the Way” with our third Spirit-led pattern modeled by the early church, wholehearted worship. Throughout Scripture we learn about worship as a means to relate to God. We also learn about the danger of engaging in the practice while missing the heart. Jesus calls us to worship in Spirit and in truth. To do so, we must confront the dangers that could derail us, such as leaving it to professionals, getting attached to a mood instead of the Spirit, becoming prideful or falling into the trap of comparison.
