Hey, we're about to go into a time of communion right now to remember the price that Jesus has paid so that we can have the freedom and the forgiveness of our sin. And this time, it's for those of us who are in the faith who have indeed called on the name of the Lord for salvation. In the Apostle Paul, he calls us to have a time of self-examination, not for exclusion, but for us to remember the sacrifice that was paid for our sin, for us to examine men. Is there any unconfessed or unrepented sin in our life, and for us to offer that to the Lord so that we can receive the grace that Christ has for sin? So at this time, I just want to challenge you if there's any sin that you're harboring or haven't confessed. Just take next few seconds and confess that to the Lord, and then want to pray over the body and the blood that Jesus gave as a reminder of what He paid on the cross for us. So go ahead and take a few seconds. Jesus, we come into this place, and guys, we just remember what a gift it is to remember the sacrifice that you paid on the cross so that we can have forgiveness over our sin. Father, we thankful for your body that was broken for us. Father, we didn't deserve it. We didn't earn it, but you freely gave so that we can receive the healing in this life. So Father, we remember, we honor you in this time in Jesus' name, and man, you may take the body at this time. And Jesus, we're thankful that you are the Lamb who was slain for the sin of the world.

Jesus, that you who knew no sin became sin for us, that we may become the righteousness of God. Father, we can't comprehend it does not make sense, but we're thankful for your blood that was shed, and as life poured out of your body, we're thankful that we can now have life abundantly. So Father, we freely drink of this, remembering what you did on the cross for us. In Jesus' name, amen, you may take the cup. The apostle Paul, he ends this time with a charge. He says, "As often as you eat, as often as you drink." He says, "You go proclaim what Jesus has done." And so Church, that is our response, we come in and we worship and we say, "O praise the one who paid my debt, who nailed all of my sin to the cross, Jesus Christ the Lamb who was slain." So we're going to go back into this time of worship, remembering what Jesus did on the cross. So let's lift up this song as an anthem of praise to our God. ♪ Sing, I left a crimson stain ♪ ♪ He'd watch it wire stone ♪ ♪ Come on let's celebrate Jesus in this place today ♪ ♪ Amen, I'm so thankful for His sacrifice for us ♪ ♪ For His love for us for His kindness ♪ ♪ And thank you for singing, for worshiping today ♪ ♪ We're gonna take just a minute ♪ ♪ Say hi to someone next to you ♪ ♪ And then we'll continue on with our service ♪ (gentle music) - We just recognize that what we are doing, or it literally is life and death, and things that are so near and dear to your heart. - 17 years ago I gave my life to Christ, and I didn't think Christ would want anything to do with me because I had abortions. I was in a rape situation and ended up getting pregnant from it. I believed in God, but I didn't believe that He cared for me, and I didn't know who He was. - I think we have to remember the grace that's extended to us in Jesus Christ, and that we want to be open, vulnerable, and receive people who are really struggling. - I didn't want to look at this being and just have full resentment thinking of its father. I am the statistic that you read about. One in three women have had abortions and have many abortions. I've had three. - It is a very nervous and scary time because you're like, "How am I going to take care of a baby?"

I began to weep and sob and weep and sob, and in that moment the Lord just really ministered to my heart. - I say yes to life because all life is valuable and precious to God. - There was a chance that one of our daughters was not going to survive. The child that had the smaller room was not, according to the doctor, going to make it. - I genuinely felt from the bottom of my heart that I was doing the sacrificial thing, the right thing. - You know, walking in darkness, I continuously just tried to find the easiest way out of all of my inconveniences, and I think that's how Satan really tempts us. - Abortion was a very simple solution for that doctor, and in fact, the doctor never used the word abortion. He said that we had come into this looking for one healthy child, even though he's a professional, and even though he is speaking a version of the truth, you have to hold that against God's truth. - I say yes to life because it is a beautiful expression of God. It is an honor and a privilege to carry life. - As the vacuum approached the fetus, the fetus started kicking. I mean, the baby started kicking and started like the terror. I was trying to get away from it, and it was that moment that she was like just transformed. - My story is filled with a lot of pain, but a lot of purpose through that pain, redemption, and being a voice for the unborn. - There's never been a human life that God did not see, know, and value.

- You see, I was born to teenage parents, but I'm so grateful and so thankful that my parents believed that life begins at conceptions, that they understood what God says in his word. - I'm honored that I get to be on staff one day a week at Resource Health, and I get to see these women, and I get to speak life into them. - I say yes to life because I was a man who gave a woman an abortion pill, potentially killing a child in her womb, and now I know because of that bloody cross, I can stand up and speak out for the life of children who have yet to be born. - Christians believe that the Bible teaches that long before a couple even knows they are pregnant. God knows the life that is in that womb. - We are precious to God. We are valuable to God. Every single life is worthy of living. - That's why we believe that life is sacred. - We want to be salt and light in a world that just left to itself will decay in a road. - As followers of Christ, we're called to stand for those who can't stand for themselves. - There are words that require courage and boldness to give justice, to maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute, to rescue the weak and the needy, and to deliver them from the hand of the wicked. - We're not talking about a political issue. It is first and foremost a moral issue, the most basic right to every human being. - We will protect the unborn. - We will protect children. - We will stand with mothers.

- We will encourage fathers. - We will fight for our children. - We will guard the next generation. - Because every life is sacred. - Because every life is known by God. - Because every life is created in the image of God. Because God's design is perfect. - Church, say yes to life. Missouri, say yes to life. - I say yes to life because God is the author of life. - I say yes because I believe in the dignity of life in the womb and the dignity of the mother carrying that life. - I say yes to life because the unborn are known by God before they're known by anyone else. - I say yes to life because God loves the life of these unborn children and He has a plan and a purpose for their life. - I say yes to life because 40 years ago, my parents said yes to life for me. - I say yes to life because every life matters to God. - Because God gives every life value. - I say yes to life because God's design is worth honoring and the next generation is worth protecting. - As a Missouri pastor, I'm voting yes on Amendment 3. I encourage you to do the same because it protects children, protects specifically adolescents going through gender dysphoria from having, quote, gender affirming care performed on them at a time in their life where they're far too young

to make these lifelong decisions. Would you protect the youth and the youngest among us by voting yes on three? - Jesus, I plead your blood over my sin and the sins of my nation. God, in abortion and sin revival to America. (audience applauds) - I wanna say thank you to everyone who collaborated in that video. If you wanna be encouraged, listen, the church across the state of Missouri, I think is more mobilized than ever around this issue. As Missouri voters will once again decide November the 3rd, if abortion will be enshrined into Missouri law. And I know a lot of our church doesn't live in Missouri. Johnson County campus, you had your vote two years ago. It did not go, like many of you wished it would have. Would you not pray for Missouri? All the church houses across North America, would you pray for Missouri? And some people are gonna ask, why is a bunch of life taking a position on a political issue? Because this is not a political issue. No, we're not talking about politics here. I'm not going political on you today. I'm going biblical on you today. Long before abortion became a political issue, it was a biblical issue.

It was a moral issue. Everything as Christians should be viewed, not through left or right, but rather up and down. Does it bring glory to God? Does this represent the heart of God? You see, the sanctity of human life is a moral spiritual and biblical issue. The Bible has a lot to say about this. And so I want to preach a message today from the Bible in Psalm 139 about what the Bible has to say about this. And what I want you to see is simply this, we need to understand that we've all been politicized. It's amazing to me how many Christians think they're thinking biblically. They're simply thinking politically. And I want you to see that I'm pro-life and it doesn't make me a Republican. It makes me a Christian. And no being a Christian doesn't mean being a Republican. I think the worst thing that could happen is when we politicize the gospel. Well, some of us think being a Christian means being a Republican. For others of us, honestly, you're true, religion is Democrat. 'Cause that's how you view the world, that's the lens. And I want us to begin to see the world through the biblical lens. As your pastor, that's my number one goal, simply to teach you how to think biblically,

to see what God sees. Jesus put it this way, Matthew 633. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. What was he teaching? As Christians, we're citizens of another kingdom. Yes, I'm thankful to be a citizen of this earthly kingdom. I'm thankful to be an American. But my first citizenship is not here, it is there. My first allegiance is not here, it is there. And that's what Jesus meant. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. Now listen, I'm aware that abortion affects one in three people, men and women, sitting in the church at this very moment. And you heard last week Melissa Odin's story as an abortion survivor. And I hope today to put some theology behind her story. And I'm aware that abortion in many ways is the secret sin in the church that no one talks about. It's the secret guilt and the shame that people carry. It's that sin that, be pastoral, but it's a prophetic message, meaning some of you are going to be offended. And I'm sorry. I'll say up front ahead of time, if I ever finned you because of my mannerisms, if I'm arrogant, or in some way if I mean spirited, I will apologize all over myself, but if it's truth offends you, that's on you. There's not between you and me. It's between you and Jesus. And I simply want to tell you with all of my heart that there is no sin too great that God cannot forgive. There is no sin, including abortion so much that the grace of God cannot cleanse. He wants to forgive you and he wants to heal you. We have a partnership, an abundant light, with a ministry that's ministering to post a board of men and women, bringing healing and health. It's called found and woven. next steps desk because this is not a sin that you have to carry with you, the shame, the stigma, the guilt. I will promise Jesus went to the cross for all of our sin. But I want you to see today what God teaches about this issue. What is our response to this issue? Listen carefully, Psalm 139 and verse 13, "For you created my inmost part speaking of God. You God created my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I'm fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. I know that full will. I want you to see two things today, absolute infallible truths about this issue. I want you to see what God sees, absolute infallible truths about the sanctity of human life." Number one is this, the unborn life in the womb is a whole person in the eyes of God. Now this is a big debate, of course. Is the unborn life in the womb a human or is it not? If it's not human, it doesn't have human right. It doesn't have the first right to all humans, the right to life. And so this is a big debate. What does God see? What does God say? What He says is the human life in the womb is a whole person, even the pre-born human, the unborn human. It says these words in verse 15, "My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in secret." My frame, speaking of my substance, my body, it was not hidden from you when I was made in secret. He speaks of that secret moment of conception, secret even from the mother and the father. That secret moment when conception happens, when life begins. You're saying nobody saw it, but you saw it. You know that moment, though it was secret to all others. He says unskilfully rot in the lowest parts of the earth. That's a Hebrew euphemism for the womb. Now look at what He says. He says these words, "Your eyes saw my substance being yet unformed. Your eyes saw my substance, as in my body, yet being unformed." I want you to see what we're learning. Listen, God sees us in the womb as a fully formed human being, even before having a fully formed human body. Just because somebody doesn't have a fully formed human body, God still sees them as a full human being. Now I want you to know in some way we all know this because you see the hypocrisy everywhere around this issue. Think about this for a moment. If a baby is wanted in the womb, we call it a baby. If it's not wanted in the womb, we call it a fetus. We dehumanize it. I mean, if the baby is wanted in the womb, not only is it loved, we give it a name months before it's born. But when it's not wanted, it's a fetus. It doesn't get a name. We dehumanize it. Think about this for a minute, the hypocrisy around this issue. Everybody knows this, but we try to suppress the truth. How many times have you been

invited to a fetus reveal party? How many times have you been invited to a fetus shower? No, you've been invited to a baby shower, but you've never been invited to a fetus shower. See, everybody knows this. God is trying to get us to see what he sees, but intrinsically everybody knows this, and every single time you're invited to a baby shower, people are admitting, "This is a baby inside of me," and the fact that it's wanted or not wanted by the mother and the father doesn't make it any less a baby. Think about this for a moment. Women do not give birth to artworks. Well, is it a human or is it not? I don't know. Do women give birth to hippos or humans? See, it's obvious. It's only biblical. It's simply logical. Yet we try to suppress the truth. Did you know in the state of Missouri, if a pregnant mother is murdered, her killer is charged not with one murder, but with two murders. Double homicide. I want you to see the hypocrisy either to baby all the time or to baby none of the time. Yet we live in a society that tries to marry this hypocrisy and manage this tension, and I'm simply saying, listen, it's not a fetus one moment and then suddenly a human the next moment. This is like the magic birth canal. It's not a human. It goes through the birth canal that it is a human. Imagine this for a moment. I simply want you to see what is happening in our society. Listen, I've said before, and I'll say this again, the connection, the correlation with America's original sin. Why did slavery persist so long in the Americas because Christians and churches and pastors said nothing and did nothing and worse yet it was humans that convinced themselves that another set of humans weren't fully human? We dehumanize them. They're not fully human. And I want you to see what's exactly what's going on today. Why does abortion exist in the civilization? Because one set of humans have convinced themselves that other set of humans is not fully human.

That's the only reason it persists. That's the only reason it goes on. And what makes it worse is the reason for slavery lasting so long is there were Christians who professed Christ that would erroneously use the Bible to try to tell you that Christianity and slavery were compatible in the very same way. False teachers in America's pulpits today will tell their church that Christianity in some way is fully, fully conducive to abortion. It's an abomination. And I'll simply say, listen, it's going to be a hot day in hell for every preacher. It stands in the pulpits with blood on their hands, because your allegiance is to a political party, an ideology, the suit of the absolute truth of God's Word. God forgive us. God have mercy on us. Life in the womb is fully human, even before, having a fully formed human body. He goes on, listen carefully. It was God who made us uniquely and meticulously to the very last detail in our mother's womb. He says this in verse 14, "I praise you from fearfully and wonderfully made." He's saying, "I am uniquely made, individually crafted by God." You understand? There's no such thing as an accidental baby. They're just accidental parents. Everyone saw me to family, and they've got older kids, and they're holding a baby. Well, this was our little surprise. Surprise to you, not a surprise to God at all. No, there's accidental parents. There's no accidental babies. God ordains the life of every single human soul. Not one of us were born out of an accident. If your mom and dad told you, "Well, you are kind of an accident." You're an accident to them, because somebody should have told them how it happens.

I guess. But you were not an accident to God. Every single life is a miracle. Consider the number of miracles that had to take place for any of us to be here. Statistically, it's an impossibility when you consider all the things that had to come together. Do you know if you go back five generations, you have 64 grandmas and grandpas. That's just five generations, and if just one of those grandmas did not meet that grandpa, you wouldn't be here. We all had seventh grade biology, seventh grade health and human sexuality, and this is where you learn how babies are made, and you saw the little race, and all the little race cars with tails swimming upstream, I mean millions of them, to think, "Your race car driver won against all the others. What are the odds?" I'm trying to tell you, God uniquely crafted and ordained every single human life. So, so clear. Isaiah 44 verse 24, "Thus is the Lord, your Redeemer, and he who formed you from the womb." Job 10 verse 8, "Your hands have made me and fashioned me." Job 31 verse 15, "Do not he who made me in the womb make them." Psalm 1, 1973, "Your hands have made me and fashioned me." Jeremiah 1 verse 5, "Before I've formed you in the womb, I knew you." God is saying, "Even before you were in the womb, I knew you. He knew you before your mother even knew your father before they ever had a first date. God knew you already." That's what God sees when he looks inside the womb. human is known by God. Every human conception is a unique creation of God. Every human being is sacred in the eyes of God. When we talk about the sanctity of human life, we are talking about the infinite and intrinsic value of humans, unlike any other creation in God's kingdom. Animal life is not the same as human life. God gave the sanctity of human life to humans.

Now, what does that mean to say? Life is sacred. What does that mean to say? Well, we're made in the image of God. This is what makes us unique from all the other animals. A lot of people hear that. I have no idea what that even means. Listen carefully. God is a triune being. Father, Son, Holy Spirit, one God, eternal existing in three persons. Genesis 1, 26. He said, "Let us make man like us." What does that mean? It means he made you a triune being so that you would reflect the image of your creator and maker. You have a body. You have a soul. You have a spirit. You see, you're a trinity like him. Now listen, no other animal has that. You're unique because of that. You're made in the image and likeness of God. Now, that image has been deeply scarred and marred because of sin. This is why Jesus said you must be born again. Because of sin, your spirit died. When Adam's sin, we were all in him. And when you're born again by faith in him, your spirit is made alive. You get back that triune image when you put your faith in the Son of God. We're talking here about the uniqueness of human life. We're not the same yet. We live at a time that we'll try to convince you that all life is the same. We're just simply some random cosmic accident of some random evolutionary process, which means human life is of no more value than a tree frog in the Amazon. I want you to see what is happening because generations in our nation have not been taught the sacred nature of human life. We live in a society where human life is considered disposable and of less value than even animal life. It's disposable. It's not valuable. We're literally living in Darwinism. This is survival of the fittest. Strong praying on the weak, natural selection. Hey, we wonder what's going on with the chaos and the breakdown of civilization. A lot of you don't know this if you're maybe in your 20s, but the idea of teenagers committing mass murder, it seems weekly, is a very recent phenomenon in American society. Nobody wants to talk about the real issue. We're 50 years downstream from Roe v. Wade. You tell one generation after another after another that there is no God or God isn't there. You're not accountable to anyone but yourself. Listen, we're living at a time where we are a nation that is not godless. No, that's not the problem. We're a nation of many gods. M-I-N-I, gods, G-O, little G, G-O-D, as in me. I'm a god. You're a god. You can have your truth. I have my truth. See, we're living literally in Romans chapter 1. The apostle Paul described the times in which we're living, the breakdown of civilization, the stairway to destruction. It begins in Romans 1 and verse 18. It says this, "The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all in godliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth and unrighteousness."

See, God says, "You have the truth. I've given you the truth. The truth is in you." Our people say, "Well, Pastor Phil, you shouldn't have an opinion about this. You don't have a womb. I do not have a womb, but I do have a heart. I have a human heart. I have a human soul. To no right from wrong, good from evil." The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all in godliness and unrighteousness of men that suppress the truth and unrighteousness. And this is what we're doing. We are suppressing the truth. God has put the truth in us, but we suppress the truth. Says that while they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, but became vain in their imaginations and their feudal hearts were darkened, professing themselves to be wise. They became fools and turned the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man. Do you see what happened? They just swapped places with God. They dethroned God. They enthroned themselves. We've created a God in our image when we were created in God's image. We've become our own little gods. Self-ideology, self-worship. where people do not recognize the intrinsic infinite value of human life that we're all made by God, created by God, moral creatures accountable to God. But when you're your own little God, you're accountable to no one. And so consequently, we live at a time where human life has no value, no animal life has more value. Can you imagine the hypocrisy? Did you know that turtles on the beaches of Florida have more rights than humans? Did you know that it's a federal crime? Do not disturb sea turtle nests, violators subject to fines and imprisonment. Let me read the fall for you. If you were to destroy a nest or even a single turtle egg, it would be a federal crime.

You could go to jail in a federal penitentiary for up to one year and be fined 10 to thousands of dollars. Oh, you don't wanna talk about sea turtles. Let's talk about an eagle. Did you know that if you destroyed an eagle's egg, it would be a federal crime. You could go to a federal prison for up to one year and be fined 10 to thousands of dollars. Oh, you don't wanna talk about an eagle. Let's talk about the blue heron. The blue heron. Did you know that if you destroy an egg of a blue heron, it too is a federal crime. You'll forever be a felon. They will put you in federal penitentiary and they will find you 10 to thousands of dollars. We live at a time where a blue heron has a right to life and is protected constitutionally. It's protected by federal law, but humans don't have a right to life. Listen, church, you're gonna see a lot of commercials in the days ahead about this. I just saw one last night. Give a woman telling her story. My doctor had to do an abortion on me to save my life and now politicians wanna take that right away. Completely erroneous, complete lie. It has always been legal. It will always be legal. It's never been illegal for a doctor

to perform an abortion to save the life of the mother. This legislation doesn't change that, but they will always frame it as, well, this is a woman's health issue. Even though statistically 97 to 99% of abortions have nothing to do with the health of the mother. We're talking one to 3% of abortions performed in America has anything to do with the health of the mother, but they never wanna talk about the 97 or 99% of abortions. Do you know why? Because at the end of the day, this is not a woman's health issue. This is about two people wanting to have sex with no responsibility for their offspring. For some of us here, you had an abortion and you didn't really know. For some of us here, you were pushed into it. Melissa Oden told her story. Her mother was forced by her grandmother to have an abortion. For others, it was in a moment of fear and uncertainty. You made an impulse decision. Listen, God knows your story. He loves you infinitely. He wants to redeem you. He wants to heal you. He wants to forgive you. I'm not trying to hurt you, but Jesus said, "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free." But it's the lies of the enemy that take us into captivity

and we live in a society going into captivity by the lies of the enemy. Abortion is not a women's health issue. When 97 to 99% of abortions are done simply because the baby isn't wanted. And I want you to know that if you're pregnant and a crisis pregnancy, abortion never has to be the only option abundant life will take your baby. We will find a family that will take your baby. There are families standing by that will take your baby and give them a beautiful home either temporarily or permanently, but you don't have to abort your baby. Abundant life will find a family. Because the sanctity of human life is not simply pro-life in the womb, it's pro-life clear to the tomb. That's the heart of God. Listen carefully. Listen carefully. Notice they're a full person in the eyes of God, and they've already been given a purpose by God. Look at what this says. Listen, God had already written down the days of our lives, even before we'd ever been born. It says in verse 16, and in your book, they were all written the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. Imagine this, you've got a biography in heaven written about you. God is the author of your life. And he's literally got a library in heaven,

a book in heaven where he's written the days of your life already before there were any of them. Can you imagine? He's ordained your life. He's written the biography of your life. There's a book in heaven with your name on it. And abortion is ripping out the days of one's life. It's ripping out the pages of one's story. It's absolutely remarkable. God has recorded the days of our life, any book in heaven, even before those days came to pass on earth. I want you to understand what's at stake. If you're a Christian, there is only one choice in its life. This is the position of every Christian who hasn't been politicized. And of this message offends you, you're the one thinking politically not me. I'm thinking biblically. And if you choose to take a stand, just prepare, the hatred and the vitriol is real. I don't get on Reddit. I don't get on our Google. But I'm told what they say about me on Reddit is probably fair to entertaining. I'm completely in phase by it. Well, Phil, you're on the wrong side of history. Yeah, I'd rather be on the wrong side of history and the right side of eternity. I'm on the right side of eternity. Even if I'm on the wrong side of history,

I've heard this before. I'd rather be loved by God and hated by men than loved by men and hated by God. And I will tell you, church, there is blood on the hands of every man and every woman, every pastor that stays silent on this issue, every fake pastor with a cut-and-paste theology that will tell your congregation abortion is compatible with Christianity. James 3 once says, "We will receive the stricter judgment. We will stand before God someday, all of us, and give an account of our moral choices." And I can't imagine, I cannot imagine, a more important issue than this one. This is not just another issue. No, this issue is central, central to the heart of God. And you've seen it in the Word of God. There's only one position as a Christian. It's life. It's life, so what do we do? How do we respond? What do we do as a church? What do we do as individuals? Are we powerless to do something? God has given us an opportunity to do something. Listen, vote yes on Amendment 3. That's what you do. First thing, go vote yes. Now, I dare you to find one political saying I've said all day. I double-dog dare you.

I said one political saying all day. It's all been biblical, straight from the Bible. When I tell you to go vote on this issue, it's not political either, it's biblical. Jesus said in Matthew 5, that we are the salt of the earth. In Jesus' day, salt is what they use to keep things from decay. He's teaching our influence as Christians. All to preserve society from moral decay, spiritual decay. We are to stand in the way of the decay of the day. And that's what we do. When we go vote on an issue like this, vote yes. Not only will this restrict abortion in Missouri, not doesn't end abortion. Of course, there's exemptions for the life of the mother. There's exemptions for rape and incest. As if a baby's not a full baby, based on how it was conceived. But the legislators know it won't pass if you don't allow exceptions for rape and incest. So where I'm at personally, it doesn't save all babies, but it saves most babies. I want to save as many lives as I can. Not only that, this legislation would completely ban transgender surgeries for minors in the state of Missouri. (applause) It is unconscionable what we've done to America's youth. Kids going through gender dysphoria, making lifelong binding, irreversible decisions about their bodies. We are mutilating children's bodies. At a time in their life,

they're not prepared to make lifelong decisions. I mean, there's a reason you can't even get your best rate on car insurance till you're 25. You can't even rent a hotel room till you're 21. You know, we're like in 13-year-olds make decisions about their bodies. It's insanity. And this legislation will say not in the state of Missouri. So I encourage you to do this. Get one of these signs when you leave. Put it in your yard. You need to understand what we're up against. Last time around two years ago, the opposition spent $31 million dollars. Those trying to protect life spent $1 million dollars, $31 million to $1 million dollars. Of that $31 million last time, 24 million came in from outside the state of Missouri. Places like New York City and Washington, D.C. This is literally a David and Goliath type of scenario. They're spending $31 million on TV ads while we're putting out yard signs, but these do move the needle. Enough people put these out, begins to move the needle. So grab a sign, use it for conversations. Go to the next door neighbor. If you know your next door neighbor would be in opposition to this before you put your sign out,

how about going next door for a cup of coffee? Have a conversation. Listen carefully. It is not enough to have the right position if we have the wrong disposition. This is the time of yelling at your enemies. Listen, the goal is not to win arguments, it's to win hearts. And we don't win when we get mad and angry and yell at people. Be living proof of a loving God. Look for opportunities to have conversations about this. Put out a sign, stand for life. Then go vote 15% less every single midterm election people vote. 15% less than my presidential year. If you don't have any other reason to go vote 'cause you don't like any of the candidates. This is all the reason you need. Just vote on this issue, vote yes. Look, I'm convinced if every person votes on this issue that agrees with this legislation, it has a chance to pass. But every person needs to go vote. Number two is this, support ministries like Resource Health. They're in the lobbies of all of our campuses. They're saving lives every single day, unborn life.

Now listen, I know so many of you are giving so much faithfully, financially to these A-life initiatives. I'm not asking you to give to one more thing. Every time I turn around, people asking me for money too. I'm not asking for you to give to something else. I'm simply as your pastor giving you permission. If you need my permission to take your Abundant Life dollars you give to support our ministry and our mission. And this week send those dollars to Resource Health instead. That's how important this is. Because if you're giving faithfully financially, I mean, we can do things like the carnival we just did. What a win. The food pantry behind me, what a win. 70,000 people in our city served a year ago. This is what you do with your dollars. We make a difference. Advanced the gospel, living proof of a living God. But if you need this week to make a donation instead of Resource Health, I'm asking you to do that. We're in the Northland of our city. Now when I talk about being pro-life from the womb to the tomb,

And the last thing is this, Church. Kansas, I'm asking you to pray for Missouri, Johnson County campus, specifically church houses all over North America. Would you pray for Missouri? I don't know why God would give Missouri of all places a second chance to repent from two years ago and vote on this again. But I pray, Missouri will be a stronghold in our nation of life. The church across our state will be mobilized. So at every campus, at every church house, right here in Lee Summit, let's get underneath together. If you can physically do this, if not, that's okay. God knows the posture of your heart. Put out of humility before God. I'm going to ask us to get on our knees and petition Him. And God, we confess our sin. We confess our apathy. We confess our political idolatry, living by a different ideology. But I pray that today our eyes would be open to our moral mandate, our moral responsibility,

that we would see what you see, that our heart would break for what breaks the heart of God, that our heart would beat for what makes your heart beat. And I pray that Missouri would stand for life on November the 3rd. And I pray that you'd mobilize a sleeping bride, the church, that there'd be awakening within the church across our state. You've said in your word that if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear their prayer from heaven. I will forgive their sin. I will heal their land. Lord God, we ask for healing across this land. As you forgive this great national sin, and I pray this legislation would pass to save lives from now and forever. Help us to be living proof of a loving God, to a watching dying world in Jesus name, amen. Church I love you very much. I hope you have a super blessed Sunday. God bless you. God go with you.
