Today, I'm wondering if you are praising in the same response as to what he's given to you. Are you praising him with the same passion that he has blessed you with? [MUSIC PLAYING] Hmm. David had the ark of the covenant. Some of you all know where I'm going with this. And it was like he took six steps and boom. He was going to dance before the Lord. His wife at the time, Markel, was looking down with disgust and with disdain, disillusion, and disbelief. Call it like it is. She was looking down, and she was judging him. How dare he dance like that. How dare he worship like that. Does he know who he is?

He is the king. What is he even wearing? And I love when her judgmental attitude and her disillusion, her disbelief, her disgust and her disdain met with the person who was praising the Lord because he was thankful for what he was bringing back. He understood the significance of what he was carrying and what he was bringing back to the city. He understood what it meant. And when that attitude met the person who had had a personal encounter, who loved God, who wanted to serve God, who wanted to dance in his presence, who was so thankful for what he had done and what he was bringing back. When that collided, I love how the worshiper didn't say, you're right. I was a little too out of order. You're right, I'm the king. I should just stand here. Thank the Lord, the ark is coming home. Is that what happened? Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no. When the judgmental, when the disbelief, the disdain, the disillusion and the disgust met the worshiper. The worshiper said, oh, you think that was crazy. You think I was out of order right then? Hold on. Hold my cup, Sister Amber, 'cause I'm about ready

to become a little bit more un dignified. Then this, 'cause you don't know what he did for me. You don't know what he did for me. You don't know what he did for me. You don't know how he served me free. You don't know how he pissed me off at a hill. And he turned me around, and he set my feet on a solid rock. I said, you don't know. You don't know! (upbeat music) So I'm wondering for just a moment. That's all right. I'm wondering if there's anybody in the room, if you were honest, you had just a little bit of that, I don't know what they're doing right now. (upbeat music) How many of you are worshipers in the house? And you know what is done for you. For 30 seconds, I want you to dance undignified. I want you to give him an undignified praise. I wasn't with the choir Tuesday night and I heard that a beautiful presence of the Lord break out on the rehearsal, and I told him this morning, I said, "Would you think about that?" He's our victory. The Bible says that the train of His glory fills the temple. Isn't that what it says? Do you guys know that? The train of His glory fills the temple, right? The train of His glory is all the victories. The king's train, it would be filled with this victory and this victory and this victory. And since you know the Lord has never lost a battle on wonder how long His train actually is. He's got every victory for your life and your life and your life and your life. It's all on His realm. It's all on His realm. Can you imagine carrying that weight around? But the Bible says that the train of His glory, it fills the temple. Who is the temple in the New Testament? means you are filled with victory you are filled with victory there's not one battle that you will face there's not one circumstance you'll come up against that his victory isn't your victory so you may not feel that way right now we're getting ready to sing a song that Warren asked if the choir could sing and I said Warren we've sang this song so many times and he said passion most I just I just really want to hear the choir Warren let's choir I think more than I do so I love that and I said okay we'll sing it and as we were rehearsing this song this morning the presence of God just swept

I'm going to pray with these individuals, but while we're praying, I'm going to go.

Actually, Pastor Ed is going to come forth and give a word right now to the church. I'm going to pray with these individuals. [MUSIC] This morning, while we're in this moment, the presence of the Lord is here. these words to them, behold, a ruler came and worship him, saying, 'My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.' So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did his disciples, and suddenly, who had a flow of blood for 12 years, came from behind and touched the hem of his garment. For she said to herself, 'If only I may touch his garment, I shall be made well.' But Jesus turned around, and when he saw her, he said, 'Be of good cheer, daughter, your faith has made you well.' And the woman was made well from that hour. When Jesus came into the ruler's house and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, he said to them, 'Make room for the girl is not dead, but sleeping,' and they ridiculed him. But when the crowd was put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. This morning, I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying that we need to make room. We need to make room for what he wants to do in this place on this morning. The young lady, the ruler, when she went to Jesus, he already knew that his daughter was dead. But despite his daughter's condition, he still worshiped and went to Jesus. This morning, you may feel that whatever you're going through in your life this morning, you may feel that that situation is dead, but we have to make room on this morning. Sometimes before we can make room, before we can get to a place where we can worship, that we have to press through whatever it is that we're going through. That woman with the issue of blood, I love in that scripture where it says that she touched the hem of Jesus' garment. It wasn't that she touched his shawl. She didn't touch his shoulder. She didn't touch his waist. So in order to touch the hem of his garment, she had to push through the crowd on her hands and her knees. She was committed that she wanted to touch Jesus. And the Bible says that when she touched the hem of his garment, that she was made whole. So whatever it is that you're going through this morning, Jesus can touch you. Whatever situations that you're going through in your life that you need Jesus to touch, whatever dead situations that you're going through, you could be going through something this morning where you're dreading life itself. But if you would come this morning, and if you would make room, press past whatever it is, it is believing that when you come, that when you touch the hem of his garment.

Just for a moment. Acting that woman with the issue of blood. She had been that way for a long time. But she knew that the condition that she was in would not change. She had exhausted every avenue that she had. She was tired. She was weak. She was warm. According to the law, she wasn't even supposed to be outside. She wasn't to have contact with anybody. But yet she made up in her mind that whatever it took that she was going to make it to Jesus. This morning, you may feel that you were at your lowest, that there's no other place that you can go. You may be worn out. You may feel like you're just make it to Jesus, if you can just touch the hem of his garment, if you can press through whatever it is that you need to press through, you can be made whole on this morning. It's I implore you not to take this moment lightly. Some of you guys have been dealing with situations for a long time, but you need to make room. When Jesus went into the room, Jesus put them all out. Jesus put the paid mourners out. Sometimes we need to put some things out of our lives. Sometimes we need to put some people out of our lives to make room for what God wants to do. We're going to celebrate, we're just seeing a new song, and we have a baptism that's going to be happening. If you feel like you need to be baptized, listen, you don't have to have clothes with you. You just go right back there, but over there there's some candles and stuff go down that hallway. You can get baptized today. You can do it. You can do it. Be made new. Amen.
