A few months ago, I was backing out of my garage in my car. And I was really going through a really deep, dark time in my life. I'd heard this song before, but I heard this song with fresh ears. Has anybody ever done that before? You've heard a song before, and then like, you hear it again, and you're like in a different season, and it means something different to you. And as I began to sing the words of this song, something just rose up in me that I was like, you know what? I have all authority. I have all authority. So in the name of Jesus, devil, get back. The words of this song, yeah, all right, that's you. The words of this song mean something to me, and they're not just words on a screen, they're not just words that I'm gonna sing out my mouth. Like, I invoke these words today, and I declare them. So, if you feel like a weapon has been formed against you, or maybe you're dealing with a cycle of addiction, maybe you're dealing with the darkness of despair and depression, maybe you feel like it's just been an endless thing of sickness and all those different things. Maybe you're in this room and you're thinking, I don't know what my authority is. I don't even understand that, ma'am, you might not even know my name. I don't understand what you're talking about. Well, there is authority and there is power in the name of Jesus. We say in the name of Jesus and peace be still. The storm calms, we calm. I don't know about you, but there's something special about the name of Jesus. When you don't know what to say and you don't know how to pray, I just say, "Jesus, amen?" Anybody in the room feel me on that today? It is the sweetest name that I know. It's the name that brings hope. It's the name that brings healing and salvation and freedom. So as we declare the name of Jesus today, whatever you have need of, just speak His name. It is faithful to meet you right where you are. In fact, if you just be so vulnerable and transparent, if it's you that needs Jesus just to intervene today, I just want you, you don't have to raise your hands like this, just kind of go like this. This might be the most you've ever raised your hands in your life. I just want you to close your eyes and just begin to say the name of Jesus in your own way. Jesus, Jesus, it's Jesus over my family. We thank you for it and we give you all the praise and all the glory and all the honor for it in Jesus' name and all of God's people would then say, "Hey man would you clap your hands now unto the Lord?" So now if you just join me and let's pray right now over our region. Amen. I'm not going to give you any direction how to pray, I think you know the needs that are in this region. So Lord we bring Southern Illinois to you. Lord we bring it to you right now Lord you know every principality and power, every weapon that has been formed, you see it. Right now by the authority of the name of Jesus Christ we pull down every stronghold. We come against every principality and power. We come against every demonic spirit, Lord over this region and we pull it down and we put it under the feet of the church. Lord you gave the authority of the church so Lord we pull it down right now. We come against depression and oppression and suicide and we come against any spirit Lord that would hinder Lord what you're trying to do in this region. We take authority by the word and by the blood of Jesus. And we say Satan the blood of Jesus is against you and we are the head and not the tail. We are above only and never beneath. We are blessed when we go in and we are blessed when we go out.

We are blessed in the city and we are blessed in the field. Our homes are blessed. Our families are blessed. The blessing of the Lord is without curse and any curse without a cause cannot take hold.
