Last week there were three moments in the service where there was an opportunity for tongues and interpretation to come forward. Whatever happened, it didn't come forth, but there was a word that was given. And while we were standing here praising, and as you just went into this song, which I don't think we have sung since Easter of 2019. And the word that was supposed, I think, come forth last week and the Lord brought it back again this week is this. Take off the grave clothes. Take off the death clothes. And the reason why that is important is she's encouraging you to praise God. But you cannot, see praise is a garment. It says put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.

But you can't fit the garment of praise over the top of the death clothes. And today, I know it's packed down front. I get all that. It's packed all over the place. But in some way you have to make a demonstration to the Lord that you're going to take off something that doesn't belong to you, which is grave clothes and death clothes. Those don't belong to you. He already overcame death, hell, and the grave. Those don't belong on you. And in its place for that spirit of heaviness that Pastor Melissa already referenced about how heavy things are. You're going to have to put on the garment of praise. And you're going to have to begin to praise the Lord. And you say, I don't have anything to praise the Lord for. And if you'll take off the death clothes and take off the grave clothes and put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, I promise you, you'll walk out of here a thousand, ten thousand times better than you walked in this place today. When I was a kid I sat in church with my grandparents. My grandmother then I would go home after church with my grandparents and my grandmother would tell me a story about how one of the guys who had come through the church is a prophet of God and he was blind. They used to sleep in the upstairs of the house that my grandparents owned and they turned it into like an evangelistic quarters and they would sleep there. One day my grandmother was having a health crisis in her life and the old prophet came through town. My grandmother sitting in the back of the church, he's blind, he says, I want the woman wearing the purple polka dotted dress sitting right over there and he began to describe what was going on in her life. Years later I bought my grandparents' house and it was my first house ever owned. I was a youth pastor and we would climb up the mountain and then we would fall back down. down the mountain, we'd climb up the mountain, we'd fall back down the mountain. And so I went upstairs in the old evangelistic quarters. I told the Lord, Lord, if you spoke to Verbal Bean and you spoke to Joe Duke, you spoke to them, I want you to speak to me. I got down on my knees and I began to pray over our youth group.

And the Lord showed me a street sign. An intersection. Showed me everything. Next morning, I went into the youth class and said, I wanna talk to you eight boys who faked your IDs to go to this intersection, to go into this bar. And they were in all the leadership of the youth and everybody thought they were hunky dory and God showed me exactly what was going on. And the challenge with days like today is I know too much. I know that there are people in this room, you haven't lifted your hands in years. You've listened to all the lies of the enemy about everything except for the truth of God's word. So when there is a call forward to praise God, you can't praise God. See, there was a test one time. They had just fought the battle of Jericho. And they were riding high coming out of that battle of Jericho. But one man thought that nobody would notice if he put something in his tent that didn't belong to him. Except that the whole church, the whole group of people paid a price because one person hid something in their tent. Because one person hid something in their tent. Joshua was like me when I was that youth pastor trying to figure out what is going on, Lord? What is going on?

And the Lord said, here's the test. You bring them in front of you. You tell them to lift their hands and praise the Lord. And whoever cannot lift their hands and praise the Lord, that's the one. That's the one. Because it's one thing to say it with your mouth, but it's something else to be able to lift your hands to God and surrender everything to Him and say, I want to stand before you holy, pure, undefiled, with clean hands, Lord, and a pure heart. And I know this is real heavy for some folks, but as I was standing down there and the pastor had laid his hands on me, I just caught a vision of God taking this church, taking everybody that's in this room, everybody that's watching on broadcast and throwing you into the air. And the wind of the Holy Spirit is blowing. And whatever is wheat will fall back to the ground because of the heaviness, the kabod of the glory of God is on the wheat and it will fall back because that's what they would do at the threshing floor. Gideon was at the threshing floor. David at the threshing floor of Nashon. They would take the wheat. They would throw it into the air and the wheat would fall back to the ground, but the chaff would be blown out, never to be seen again, blown all across the hills

and the sides and the valleys and the mountains. And I wanna tell you today as a word of warning that if you don't have the praise of God on your lips and the glory of the Lord in your life, the wind is blowing right now. If you don't sense that the wind is blowing through this house, all I gotta tell you is that we've had over 250 baptisms. I mean, the glory of the Lord is blowing right now. And people are being blown out and they don't even realize what's happening, but you're listening to the amplified lies of the enemy and he's leading you to destruction. And I can feel you right now. I can feel you say, pastor, you know. Yes, I know. And I'm trying to avoid telling what I know. But I believe this church can handle more than most people think it can handle. I believe this church is deeper than what most people will give it credit for. You see all these people and you think I can hide. You cannot hide from the glory of God. And my friend, we're gonna go up and we're gonna take the promised land that God gave us. So if you got stuff hidden in your tent, it's time for you to say, Lord, I'm sorry. Lord, forgive me. And throw up your hands and begin to praise God from the depths of your heart and the depths of your soul.

Because if not, you won't be there when we conquer AI. Oh, pastor, you're being rude and mean. I get accused of that all the time, but that has kept us from the promised land. trying to play nice and try to be some sort of methocaustal church i believe the glory of the lord is in this place and as some of you are sick in your body you are sick in your mind you are sick in your emotional level because there's something in your tent you need to get out and you just need to praise god and then when you begin to praise god i'm telling you you will find liberty and freedom and whom the son sets free is free hand deep you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free i'm just gonna wait on you just for a moment you have a prayer language i just begin to pray in it and if you need to find a place to pray i'd find a place to pray it's okay it's been so long since you felt the power and the presence of god in your life i mean that's why he's here right now um Lord, we release it into your hands.
