Security By The Spirit

Come on, keep it going for Jesus. How many people love Jesus? Give Jesus a shout of praise. Amen, amen, amen. God bless you as you find your seat. Can we honor pastors Joe and Lori? Come on, can we honor our pastors here at Celebration Church? Pioneers, generals in the faith. And I wanna give a shout out to Connor Champion as well. I get to serve alongside him at Austin Christian University, as Pastor Joe said. How many people are grateful for ACU and the kingdom-minded entrepreneurs we're gonna be developing for the glory of God? I'm a kingdom-minded entrepreneur myself. As Pastor Joe mentioned, I started a company a little over five years ago called Overflow. It started as a startup technology company based in the Silicon Valley with the simple mission to inspire the world to give. Have you heard about PayPal? Basically it's PayPal for churches and charitable organizations. We serve over a thousand churches and charitable organizations right now, making it easier for people to exercise the life of the generous. And we just celebrated this past year over a billion dollars transacted through our platform

for the glory of God. That's resources to and through the church and organizations like ACU. So I am one of those kingdom-minded entrepreneurs that have been put on assignment today to encourage you in a message around generosity. But you should get to know me a little bit first. Like Pastor Joe said, my name is Vance and I'm married to my wife, Kim, of 15 years. Yes, she endured for 15 years. I think they have a photo right here. That is my better half. Come on, somebody. I had to double-tie for that one right there. I'm married up. And we are not just celebrating 15 years. We are celebrating four children. We have four kids. You don't believe me, put up the family photo. That is proof positive. Lennox, Olivia, Emerson, Lois, my second, Tatum, my one and only son, and Wesley Dior Roush. Wesley Dior, because four kids in California, where I'm from is luxury. Four and no more. Four and no more, I am Dr. Dunn. Can you give it up for my eldest daughter here? She is Lennox, Olivia on the front row, my 10-year-old, my travel companion, and she is joining us today.

I had to show you a family photo because I know when I walked up in here, you thought I was 18. You're laughing a little bit too hard. I'm not 18, I have four kids. I've been through some shit. I've been through some stuff, okay? Actually, my black friends tell me that black don't crack. I have to teach them Asian don't raisin. Okay, Asian don't raisin. I'm actually 50. It's gonna be in Texas. Welcoming all our locations, our correctional facilities, everybody online. I am from California. Pray for me, pray for me. The San Francisco Bay Area, everything that you've heard on the news about San Francisco and California, it's true. Please pray, pray for us. In all seriousness, I know that Celebration Church would understand this. Wherever there is a remnant of believers, there is no forsaken people, there is no forsaken city. We are contending for California. The California does not belong to the enemy. California belongs to the Lord. For the past 15 years, my wife and I have been part of church planting funding churches all across the Bay Area and beyond.

We're part of a church right now called The Father's House. It started in Vacaville, California, Northern California. You probably heard from Pastor Tasha, who's led worship on this stage at different conferences. My pastor, Pastor Dave Patterson, started it 29 years ago. Last year at Baptize America, we baptized 1,400 people in one day. God is moving in Northern California. Kim and I, in December 2024, we moved into a new neighborhood in the South End of the Silicon Valley called Los Gatos. It's a neighborhood where 95% of people are unchurched. They don't know about Jesus. And under the conviction of the Holy Spirit, Jesus was telling us to love our neighbor, not just as a metaphor for loving humanity, while that is important, but to actually love our actual neighbor. We started loving on our neighbor, inviting them to our house, telling them about Jesus. We started outgrowing our living room and started meeting in our office. Overflow is headquartered in our town of Los Gatos. This Bible study, which started with six people, has grown to now 60 people. on a Tuesday night, so much so that since October, we've had to multiple times rent the local theater so that we can facilitate all God is doing. Our last worship night, you gotta check this out.

I got a video of God moving in our neighborhood. ♪ You are worthy of it all ♪ ♪ You are worthy of it all ♪ ♪ For from you are all things ♪ ♪ And to you are all things ♪ ♪ You deserve the glory ♪ Come on, he's moving in the Silicon Valley. I'm excited to announce actually for the first time this upcoming Tuesday, we are launching a new church called the Father's House Las Gatos for the glory of God. We're gonna see hundreds of people of all generations come to Christ. God is moving, God is moving from California to Texas, to Mozambique, to Italy. God is moving all across the globe and he builds his church. Did you know the Bible says Jesus builds his church? And I love what Jesus invites us to. He allows us to build his church through certain kingdom principles. And one of those principles we're gonna talk about today, like I said, is generosity. If you're taking notes, write this down. Generosity is a kingdom principle God uses to form us spiritually and grow his ministry. Generosity is this amazing kingdom principle that God uses to form us spiritually. And he also uses it to grow his ministry. To expand upon this principle today, I wanna center us around a beautiful passage I found in John 19 about a character, a person in history

we would come to know as Joseph of Arimathea. It says this, John 19, 38. Do you have your Bible? You have your Bible? Awesome, did you turn on your Bible? Yeah, turn on your Bible to John 19, 38. It says this, later Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now, Joseph was a disciple. Somebody say disciple of Jesus, but secretly. Any secret disciples in the place sometimes. Because he feared the Jewish leaders. With Pilate's permission, he came and took the body away. He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about 75 pounds. I don't really know what that means. I just know that my wife went to Sephora the other day, bought something like this and it was $75, 75 pounds. Taking Jesus's body, the two of them wrapped it with spices and strips of linen. This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs. At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden and in the garden, a new tomb in which no one had ever been laid because it was the Jewish day of preparation. And since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there. Many of you would know, and if you don't know, we'll catch you up, that Jesus died on the cross

as an atonement for our sins. How many people are grateful that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, but not only that, was buried for three days, but resurrected on that third day, signifying that he defeated death, that he defeated our sin, creating a pathway of eternal relationship with our heavenly father. And we recognize this appropriately. A few weeks ago, maybe a month or so ago on Easter, we appropriately recognize his resurrection power, but have you ever stopped to think where he stayed for three days? We would learn, not just in John, but the Gospel of Matthew that he literally stayed in Joseph of Arimathea's tomb. What a significant understanding when we understand that Joseph of Arimathea gave a piece of real estate at the feet of Jesus's broken body. This act of generosity has compelled me so much because I started studying what that actually meant. Did you know in Jewish culture, did you know in Jewish custom that a tomb, especially a new tomb, was a sign of wealth, was a signature of status, was a solidification of legacy for multiple generations? If you research it, it would be like giving. Jesus, a seven-figure gift. Not only he acting in generosity, but Nicodemus acting in extravagant generosity. Allos and myrrh, the Bible says 75 pounds. When you do the math to modern-day currency,

we understand that this was a six-figure gift. This act of generosity for a ministry, for a function, for a function, no, Jesus was dead. It was an act of worship. It was an act of faith. And did you know that type of generosity, the sacrificial kind, that type of generosity, literally $100,000 worth of perfume, Nicodemus put at the broken body of Jesus. Did you know your generosity can have a fragrance? Your generosity has an aroma. What type of generosity do you have? Do you have the cheerful kind? Do you have the sacrificial kind? Do you have the kind that's open-handed and open-hearted, not stingy and locked up, but saying, God, I trust you. Because you died on the cross, that's enough for me to live for you. Not just with my finances, but with everything. But with everything. I have been so compelled with these stories of generosity that I started asking myself this question. What type of generosity actually blesses the heart of God? And I wanna tackle this question with a sermon we're entitling Security in the Spirit. Security in the Spirit. Let's pray one more time. Lord God, we thank you for this kingdom principle that we get to come around today. We pray right now we would get a deeper revelation

a deeper conviction of what it is to be generous. And when we talk about a generous life, what we're really talking about is a free life. So would we be free from the idol of money this morning? And would you give us a greater understanding of what you have for us in this generous life? In Jesus' name, everybody said, amen, amen. How many parents here at Celebration Church here in Georgetown, any of our locations, your parents, your parents, your parents, raise your hand, raise your hand. Wow, a lot of parents at this service. I don't know if we just had grandparents the last service, but we had a lot of parents at this service. That's fantastic. How many people are one-uppers? You have more than four. You have more than four. I got one-uppers. Man, Texas built different. I love that. This is a family-oriented church. How many people aspire to be parents one day? You wanna be a parent one day? I love that. We can pray for you after service. I am a parent, as you know, and so maybe you can identify with this thought. Being a father now, I so badly want my kids to be successful. Can anybody relate?

If you have kids, you would understand. I so badly want my kids to be successful. I have all four of them in every single activity. Call me Mr. Uber. I'm a chauffeur out here in these Silicon Valley streets, okay? I'm just in the car all the time, dropping them off, picking them up. See, my son, he just got into soccer, and my goodness, I know he's only six, but he's a star. No, I'm telling you right now, you're laughing, but it's like ESPN top 10. Last game, he scored 11 goals. He outscored the whole team just by himself. We're gonna be rich. My Emerson girl, who you're gonna hear about later, she's in gymnastics. My eldest daughter, who is with me right now, we have a hobby together, running. We love to run together. We love to jog together, specifically because she competes in the prestigious annual school jog-a-thon, okay? This jog-a-thon is so important, okay? I want my daughter to be successful in this jog-a-thon. I want her to podium. I want her to get first place. You're like, Vance, she's 10. It's not that serious. No, this is everything.

Because I know that when she wins this jog-a-thon, Lennox the Flash, I mean, Lennox, Olivia, Roush, when she wins this jog-a-thon, it's going to give her the confidence that she needs to run for ASB president so she can get the extracurriculars on her college application to go to Stanford, get to grad school, get an MBA, so that she can inherit the family business and be CEO in 17 years. That's what this jog-a-thon means. I just want her to be successful. And so I take it seriously. I have game tape, y'all. We've done it for four years and I've recorded every year. We got game tape on my iPhone. I'm giving her tips and tricks. I'm like, you gotta run on the inside, not the outside. Run smarter, not harder. You know what I'm talking about? Like literally, we have so much swag walking up to that school. Parents are trying to talk to me. I'm like, shut up. I'm trying to look at my daughter. It's like hurting my witness, you know? She ate five baguettes the night before. She's carb loading. She drank 10 bottles of water. She's like, dad, I gotta pee.

I'm like, stay hydrated, you know? She runs and she runs 20 minutes unbroken and she gives it all that she has. We've done it for four years now and I'm here to tell you she hasn't won yet because it's rigged. And I'm gonna talk to the principal when I get back. After every jog-a-thon for four years now, she comes to me because she knows and I look her in the eye and I say, hey Lennox, I'm so proud of you. I love you. Dad is so glad that you gave it all that you have and I can see something transact in that moment every single time and I got this revelation that as her eyes lit up, as she stood a little bit taller, as her shoulders in confidence went a little bit more back when I affirmed her, I understood this. As her father, I so badly want her to be successful but more than her success, I want her to be secure. I don't know who at Celebration Church needed to remember this. Your father in heaven so badly wants you to be successful. He is a good father. He's given you his Bible as a blueprint to life, his principles as you apply them. You can start claiming the promises that he has through those principles. He wants you to be successful in this life

but more than your success, he wants you to be secure. He wants you to be secure. Yeah, you can give it up for our heavenly father that provides security, not based on your success, provides security based on him. He's our heavenly father. He has good plans for your life. Is your success, is your security based on your success or is your security based on his word, his affirmation of who you are? Did you know that you are a son? Did you know that you're a daughter? Did you know that you're an heir to his inheritance? His word says that he is the owner over all of this and we're just stewards. His word says that he's the supplier and we are the sowers. His word says that money and success cannot be your security. He alone is. So as children of God, we don't place our security on something as fickle as success or money or mammon but rather Christ alone. And the principle that Christ modeled himself, we just read about how he gave his life, the principle that he modeled himself and asked of us as Christ followers is to give. And look, he didn't set up this principle of generosity to be a burden for you but to be a blessing for you. Did you know that you are wired to give? Proverbs 11 24 says it like this,

the world of the generous gets larger and larger. When you set up a life that is being a giver, your world enlarges. That goes on to say that the world of the stingy grows smaller and smaller, that I don't know about you. I wanna live a big life. I wanna live an enlarged life. I don't wanna live a life stingy and small. I wanna live a life open-handed like Jesus did, right? It is more blessed to give than it is to receive, the Bible says. This is not just scripturally true. This is not just spiritually true. Already you're probably identifying with this. Let me substantiate it a little bit further. This is scientifically true. UC Berkeley did a study several years ago. It's in my backyard in the Bay Area, very smart people. They did a study called the Science of Generosity and what they found is that when you give financially, not just of your time, when you give financially, specifically, it releases a dopamine in your brain on the level of when you eat food and when you get to shelter. That this dopamine, it's a chemical called oxytocin. Did you know that when you take something, it also represents a chemical that fires called vasopressin. Vasopressin is the precursor to. fear. So you are literally wired to give more in this life than you take. To live a life that is secure. It is scripturally

true, we found. It is scientifically true, we understand. So if we were created by God to give, then why don't we? And I'm here to submit to you that I think a big part of what holds us back, the enemy uses, is insecurity. The enemy will keep you stuck and stingy, stopping short of your identity and generosity by keeping you insecure. Insecure about money, insecure about what other people think of you, insecure in so many different ways that the enemy wants to stop you short. And why do I say this? Because contextually, if we go back to our anchor scripture, Joseph of Arimathea was insecure. The Bible says he was a secret disciple, fearful of what other people thought about him. And it's so fascinating because actually Joseph of Arimathea is talked about in all of the gospels. So we can piece together a little bit more about Joseph of Arimathea. Did you know that Joseph was rich? Joseph was wealthy. Joseph was significant. Joseph had status. He was in local government, in the council of the Sanhedrin. He was wealthy. He was rich. He had status. He had significance in society, but still insecure. I am neighbors to some of the most affluent people in the Silicon Valley that are building products like the iPhone. The Apple headquarters is about 15 minutes away from me, and I'm next to some of the founders of some of these products that are reaching billions of people around the world. And in their affluence, can I tell you that there's no matter how much surplus you have, you can still be insecure. And it puzzled me because I didn't come from a lot. I don't know about you, but maybe you're similar to me. I grew up lower to middle class with my family, my family still working blue collar jobs. And I thought growing up that more equals secure. Did anybody ever

think that growing up? Like surely more equals secure. And in the last decade, I'm here to tell you that God has been good. My wife and I, Kim, we have been blessed in business. We have seen the favor of God. He has blessed us with more. But here to tell you in my personal experience, more success does not equal more security. Actually, I found something else. More success equals more responsibility. The Bible says it like this, Luke 12, 48, everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded. So Joseph of Arimathea, the Bible says he was disciple. He was listening to the teachings of his rabbi, Jesus. He would have known all the prolific teachings Jesus had around money and mammon and giving and generosity. One of the more famous sermons that Jesus had on this, the sermon on the mount, Jesus says himself, you cannot serve God and mammon. Everybody know that scripture? You should look it up. This is a powerful truth that Jesus says himself to his followers at that time. You can't serve God and mammon. And why that's so fascinating is because in the King James version, they don't translate mammon. They just transliterate it. What does that mean, Vance? Transliteration is just taking the root Greek word and giving the sounding English word for us. So mammon is the root Greek word and mammon is the one that sounds like it. It's not translated. It's transliterated. Why am I saying this? Because what other things are transliterated in the Bible? Names. From Petros to Peter. So what am I saying? Mammon is clearly a name. Mammon is a spirit. Did you know that money has a spirit? And that checks out with me because money be talking to me sometimes. Anybody with me? Your bank account be talking to you sometimes. Don't leave it hanging right now. Sometimes I

be opening up that Chase app and be talking to me. Money be saying crazy things to me. It's like, Vance, you can't get enough of me. Vance, you can't give me up. Money sounds like a mistress sometimes. I have to talk back to my money. I gotta tell my money that you're a terrible master. You're not gonna master me, but you're an incredible servant. tell you where to go, money, because my father says, my Bible says, that he shall supply all my needs according to his riches in glory. Somebody got to talk back to their money, sometimes. So if it's a terrible master, an incredible servant, we should still be wary that it could potentially be an idol in our life, especially if we're riddled with insecurity, especially when we hold onto it so tightly, especially living in this area, huh? Just hold onto it so tightly, because I don't want to lose too much. I can't lose too much. I got to make ends meet, and I get it. But the reality is that insecurity doesn't dissipate based on your bank balance. That insecurity can only dissipate based on when you decide to trust God. And so I want to give us just three lessons in our last nine minutes right now in living secure in our finances, which I believe will allow you to live a life that overflows with generosity. Number one, purify your heart, purify your heart.

Malachi 3.10 says it like this, and I love the tithe. I know sometimes we get tight about the tithe, but the Bible is very clear in Malachi 3.10, and this is one tool that Jesus uses to purify my heart. I know it for me to bring all the tithes, the first 10% of our income to the storehouse, your house, the place of worship, so that there would be food in my house and see if I will not open up a window of blessing so great that you would have not room to contain it. Did you know that God's window of blessing from heaven is always greater than the room that you make for him? So I gotta trust him in this. Did you know you're invited to trust him, not just personally in this kingdom principle, but to trust him with things like your business? As a business person, I've had to learn this firsthand. When I was starting Overflow in 2020, because I live in the Silicon Valley, and I know you would know this because what do they call Austin? Silicon Valley of the South? I feel like it's Silicon Valley with cowboy boots. I like it, and a cowboy hat. That's fantastic. So you would know this, that there's this thing called venture capital. And so to start Overflow, I wanted to raise venture capital so I could get it off the ground.

And so I pitched Overflow to all these fancy investors in Sand Hill Road in San Francisco. And after 50 pitches, guess what? I got 50 no's. Yeah, don't clap at that. That's sad. I don't care who you are. 50 rejections is devastating. It was so discouraging. And I was complaining to God, which I massed as praying to God, and I was just so in despair. And the Lord convicted me. He said, Vance, stop trying to convince them, teach them. If I'm honest with you, I was a secret disciple in these Silicon Valley streets. I was hiding the fact that I was a pastor. I was hiding the fact that the company was based on Proverbs 11.24. The world of the generous gets larger and larger because I thought secular investors would not understand things of the Spirit, and I wouldn't be able to raise money from them. So I sanitized the pitch deck. And so God had to purify my heart, convict me. I threw away the old pitch deck because that wasn't working anyways. I put a new pitch deck on the first slide, Proverbs 11.24. I started pitching that new pitch deck. The next three weeks,

we raised $3 million in three weeks. I was like, okay, Lord, I'm gonna stop doing it my way. I'd rather do it God's way. How many people believe that 90% in the hands of God, 90% blessed by God is better than 100% trying to do it on my own? And so now I've taken it to my business. We give 10% of our revenue at Overflow back to the kingdom of God, and to and through institutions like the local church. And I'm here to testify, this is not a flex. We do this as a company. We give multiple six figures a year now to the kingdom of God to build His church for the glory of God. Purify your heart. Number two, purpose your provision. Purpose your provision. I'm gonna give you a couple of stats. Most churches are one generation away from not having the resources that they need to continue to fund the work of the ministry and His gospel. Here's the stats. Christians are giving only 2.5% of their income to the church. That's down from 3.3% in the Great Depression. Among evangelical givers, the average amount given over the last 12 months is down 15%. The 80-20 rule exists in most churches.

10 to 20% of the congregation make up 80 to 90% of the budget. I don't say this as a posture of condemnation. I actually say this as a great invitation and declaration that these stats are not gonna exist at Celebration Church. That Celebration Church has been a generous church. It will continue to be a generous church because we have generations to reach for the glory of God. And we are gonna purpose our provision together. I love what Joseph of Arimathea did, purposed his provision to take care of the broken body of Jesus. Can I invite you, consider, if you haven't already, purposing your provision to take care of his broken body. What an opportunity that we get. What a privilege that we get. And the last point, and I'll get the worship team back up, and we'll celebrate out of here. Purify your heart, purpose your provision. Number three, please God. Please God. I've read, I've heard the online haters that will attack, and right after this service, you're gonna see it on TikTok, you're gonna see it on Facebook, you're gonna see it on your reels, the haters that will try to attack the concept, the principle, I believe, of the tithe, of giving, of generosity.

And I would love to give a systematic argument back to them why they're wrong. But I'll just say this, that I've never met a regretful, generous person, but I've met a lot of regretful, stingy people, many of them. So when I talk about generosity, really what I'm talking about is living free, living free from the idol, the insecurity of money, of mammon, of success. God wants to bless you, but did you know that you were created to bless him? So what blesses the heart of God when it comes to generosity? What type of generosity blesses his heart? The pure kind? Have you purified your heart? The purposeful kind? Have you postured and purposed your provision to have eternal impact? And the fragrant kind? Not the stingy kind, not that type of aroma, the fragrant kind, the open-handed, overflowing Joseph of Arimathea, Nicodemus kind of generosity. What I love about Joseph of Arimathea is that we know now that he had fear, but despite his fear, he still decided to act in faith. And I wonder if there is something about acting in faith, even when you're full of fear.

And I wonder if something breaks off in fear, breaks off in insecurity, breaks off in intimidation. When you say, Lord, I trust you in all aspects of my life. I've had to grow in my trust in God. I showed you a family photo earlier, not as a flex of my family, but as a reminder to me that having a family has been a fight. My wife and I, we struggled with infertility, and maybe you would identify with this type of struggle or even testimony, but we struggled for almost five years trying to have our first child. And in partnership with Modern Medicine, we were blessed with our first Lennox Olivia Roush, who is a miracle. And we're so grateful that we had Lennox. But if I'm honest with you, those nine months that Kim carried Lennox, we were holding our breath. We were in fear because we had miscarriages before. And I vowed to God, if he were to bless us with another child, we wanted another child, the next time around, we would not hold our breath. We would stay full of faith and boldness because he has a good plan for us, plan to prosper us, a hope and a future, Jeremiah says. And so we were pregnant with our second and we were so excited. And to honor the vow that we had to God,

we were full of faith. It was week eight. And if you've had a child before, you would understand this, week eight is special because that's when you hear the heartbeat. So we go in on a Tuesday morning so that we can hear the heartbeat. Kim gets hooked up to the ultrasound machine. They scan Kim and they have a photo actually. What showed up on the ultrasound was not ideal. A gestational sack. No fetus, nothing inside. We're a bit concerned seeing that. The doctor said, hey, maybe you're a little bit early. Come in on two days on Thursday morning and we'll check again. We come in in two days, Thursday morning. They hook up Kim to the ultrasound machine. They go in a different way this time to try to get a different angle. And as they go in, they snap another photo that looks similar to this one where it was just a gestational sac. No fetus, obviously no heartbeat. The doctor is serious this time. She goes, Vance and Kim, I'm so sorry. This must be another biochemical pregnancy. We'll go ahead and prescribe you a DNC pill, an abortion pill. You can take it at your convenience

to pass this biochemical pregnancy. We're devastated. Go home. We're meant to host a conference, a Christian conference in San Francisco called There is a Hope the next day, and we have no hope. I go to appointments to prepare for this conference and Kim is weeping at home. In the afternoon, she calls me and she's getting back into the car and she's driving to the hospital. And I'm on speakerphone with her and she's starting to pray a desperate prayer that I felt was gonna be a very disappointing prayer. She's like, babe, I don't feel good about taking this DNC pill. I wanna go to the hospital one more time and I'm just gonna pray. Would you pray with me? And she starts declaring the promises of God. She starts pleading with God. God, we believe in Jesus. We know that Jesus healed lepers, that he opened up blind eyes, that he opened up deaf ears. We know that there is no life in me right now, but would you put life in me right now? Weeping and crying, desperate for God, trusting whatever God's plan is,

whatever his will is. She goes into that hospital room. The nurse hooks her up to the ultrasound machine. She goes, Mrs. Roush, congratulations. She goes, why congratulations? Well, I see the baby. No, no, no. She takes the ultrasound photo from that morning, from Thursday morning, six hours before. She says, are you telling me there's a baby? This morning they said there was no baby. And check this out, six hours later, a fetus. She said, do you wanna hear the heartbeat? Absolutely, I wanna hear the heartbeat. Puts me on speakerphone. We hear the heartbeat together. The nurse says it has a heartbeat. It's eight weeks and two days. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Roush. I'm here to stir somebody's faith at Celebration Church that he is still healing, that he is still moving, that he is doing miracles, signs, and wonders. I don't know why he doesn't answer every prayer, but what I do know is he's answered enough prayers for me. If only he died on the cross for my sins, that would be enough to live for him. I know we talked about money. Jesus talked about money, but it's just a representation of, do you trust him with your heart?

Do you trust him with everything? Can we bow our heads and close our eyes? Lord God, thank you, God, for your Holy Spirit, that when you ascended, you sent your Holy Spirit, your advocate, and you're still moving. You're still healing. You're roaming the earth to and fro, looking for a willing and submitted heart, a surrendered heart. And I know we talked about giving and tithing and generosity, but that's just one aspect of an invitation, a greater invitation for people here at Celebration Church to say, hey, I need to trust in you. All of me, everything needs to put my trust in you. And so while your heads are bowed and eyes are closed, I'm just gonna make a quick ask. If you're in this place or any of our locations and you're like Vance, I need to put my full trust in him in every single aspect of my life. Just shoot your hand up, shoot your hand up.
