Put It On

Well, praise the Lord. I appreciate the Lord's mercy and faithfulness today. And I appreciate, you know, what was shared at the beginning, appreciate the Scriptures that were shared because they're very appropriate. I'm certainly not the only one that's had my battles, but you know, that's what it is, it's what it's about, our life in this world, and we just need to reckon on it and know how to handle it. And I believe the Lord's helping us, don't you? I've just had some seemingly random thoughts during the week, and a lot of them really are covering ground in a way that we've covered lately, and yet the Lord has a way of kind of taking it and refocusing on certain aspects of it, and that's what I want to do today. I want to turn to Ephesians 6, certainly the Scripture we know very well, and there's an element of that that really kind of stuck out to me during the week in a special way. So I'll go ahead and read what's very familiar to us, just as a place to start, beginning in verse 10, finally, because we know we're in a battle, don't we? If you don't realize we're living in enemy territory and we have a battle and that's what life is about, then you're living in a dream world. But the Lord doesn't want us to be afraid, He wants us to be ready and to know that He's given us everything we need to handle it. So anyway, finally, my brethren, finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God so that when the day of evil comes, when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground. And after you have done everything to stand, stand firm then with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all

the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God." And then of course, last week we referred to the Scripture about prayer, and the emphasis was on walking with the Lord. You know, I noticed something about this beyond just what we know that we are living in enemy territory, and that God's designed it that way. We know that He has provided everything, don't we? I mean, how many times have we taken note of 2 Peter chapter 2, or beginning in verse 1 rather, I'm sorry, chapter 1, anyway, where he talks about how the Lord has given us everything we need for godliness, everything. He hasn't left anything out, so He's done His part. There's something that is complete, something that is perfect, and God wants us to be able to take advantage of that. But the reality is, there's a part that we play, and without that it doesn't happen automatically, because God is growing up sons and daughters, and He wants us to take our part of the responsibility in this. And this is where the enemy attacks me, he attacks you as well, I know, is trying to get us to be so, what, distracted, I guess, by life, that we just don't really realize, stop to realize and exercise what we're meant to do. Now He doesn't say, I've given you, I've put on this armor on you, and it's on you and you're good. What does He say? Put it on. Take it. There's an action there that is needed on our part. You know, we've often pointed out some of the grammar of the Greek, where there is a present tense that is kind of a continuous thing, like the light is on, or we're breathing, or we're here, or something, and you're talking about something that's going on. It's not an event, like if we suddenly had a thunderclap, that would be an event. And that would just happen.

But the verb tense in this just really caught my attention, because it's not just, hey, you've got armor on, use it. This is, you put it on. You put it on. And I wonder, you know, I was thinking about this the other day, and then I kind of woke up the next morning and I wasn't feeling real good. Anybody ever have that happen? You feel like you're kind of tired and oppressed and struggling a little bit in your mind. And suddenly this came back to me and said, wait a minute, I've given you everything, what are you doing laying there? And so I said, remember how Jimmy Robbins used to talk about how he'd get up in the morning and he would just consciously put on the armor. I wonder if maybe we ought to think about doing that, not necessarily as a ritual, but God wants us to be conscious of what's going on, what the reality is, and literally take what He has given us. Because what good is having all that He's given us and not using it? Again, you know, the illustration, I'm not really going to talk about anything we haven't heard this morning, but I need it. I mean, what good would it be to have a million dollars in the bank and then live like a pauper because you just didn't ever go and get it when you needed it? Has God given us everything or not? Has He? Do we actually believe that in our regular lives? And of course, the fact that we live in a sense-driven world tends to take over our lives and we think about our daily routine as just, well, this is life here, this is what I do, I've got, you know, but we think about living, first of all, that's a continuous thing. Yeah, life happens, but life is full of events, full of things that we choose, things that we do that just happen in real time and then they're done and then we move on to the next thing. Every one of us has some kind of a routine for our day. We go to sleep at night, hopefully, and how does the day begin? We get up in the morning, we climb out of bed, we put our clothes on, we do whatever personal care is necessary, we eat breakfast, we say, all right, what's the agenda today? What's going on? And these are all actions that we take to prepare for the day. Think about that. Think about what you do to get ready for the day. And of course, our young ladies, obviously, they're concerned very much with their lovely appearance. I think they look just fine with whatever they do. I'm thankful. I pray that their inside will

be just as pretty as the outside. That's the most critical thing, isn't it? But seriously, every one of us has an idea, this is what my life is about. And we're thinking in very earthly terms. I've got a job, I've got responsibilities in the house, I've got to go to school, I've got whatever it is that we have in our day, this is what we're thinking about, this is what we're preparing for. But how easy is it to forget the simple reality that every single day we are living in enemy territory and God has equipped us and there is a reason why things happen. We're not just here, you know, what's the word that I want to say? We're not just names on a list that God has signed up and okay, you get to go to heaven and just go ahead and live your life and I'll kind of be with you if you have a problem. The whole life that we live has a purpose that goes way beyond what happens here. And we have what we call a mentality, a worldview, a way of looking at things and I wonder sometimes how we think of our own lives. How do you think of yourself as to who you are, what your life is really about, what your responsibilities are, what's the meaning of everything? Kind of something to think about, isn't it? What does my life mean? Does it really have any significance? Am I just here kind of going through the motions or is there some real, something real going on? And somehow when I was thinking about all this, I didn't really go back to the scripture immediately and my mind went to the helmet of salvation, which is not the first thing he mentions, but somehow that to me became the key. In fact, that was the first thing I did that morning. I said, all right, Lord, thank you for reminding me of this simple truth. By faith I put on the helmet of salvation. That defines what my life is about. If it doesn't, what does? Because we're not just talking about theology here that we believe and somehow rehearse on Sundays. God is at work in every single part of our lives every single day. They have a purpose. They have a meaning. And God wants us to actually not just to know that in some vague sense, but to participate in that and look to him and recognize we need to see the world and our lives through his eyes. Why are we here? Because we're not. Not all there, you know, the old joke. But why are we here? Are we here just for a reason or, you know, why doesn't the Lord just save us and then take us right on? Praise God. What's the purpose of living here?

Well, is there one? Is this an accident? So should we be connected better with what the real meaning of our lives is or is it okay just to, you know, put that on the shelf and go about our real life? This needs to be our real life. And as much as we obviously need to get out of bed and eat breakfast and all those kinds of things and take care of our responsibilities, it's not a matter of hiding from that. But the meaning of it, the way we see ourselves, we live in a world where people are chasing everything else, possessions, pleasure, you name it. That's what their life is about. That's what the girls are all about around you. Seriously, but I mean, and of course the phone, you've got to have a phone and you've got to just be absolutely connected or else the world will stop. God, my phone doesn't work. Oh, what am I going to do? God help us to have the kind of life that God has designed for us and to be connected with its meaning. Because if we don't, again, what are we connected to? What does our life mean? And the Lord was trying to refocus my attention. Obviously it isn't just the helmet of salvation, but to me somehow that was a key to everything because if I understand my life, first of all, every single day of my life is a process of salvation. We tend to think of salvation as an event. Now I am saved, my name's on the list and boom, that takes care of that. That's obviously, that's part of the truth. But salvation is so much more. Paul talked about the foolishness of preaching or the message preached and he says, to the world it is foolishness, but to us who are being saved, see there's an ongoing process. You don't just bring, if you want to have an adult for your business or something, let's,

I don't know, come up with something crazy, but if you have, you want to have, you have a baby, all right? Now you've got a baby. Does that take care of it? No, they need to grow up, don't they? They've got a life. It's something that started, but that life, it needs to be carried forward all the way through until they are adults and ready to take on responsibility of being an adult. And that's what salvation is about. It's wonderful to be born again. Thank God. That's worth everything. But you know, that's just the start. And you know, I have often used this illustration or this, this scripture, I'll just refer to it in Romans five. You could look it up. And I remember being in pastor's conferences overseas and how, and I'll make this statement just to shock them. I say, how many of you know that we're not saved by the, by the death of Christ? And they look at me and they're about ready to throw me out. But we're, we are absolutely reconciled to God. That is, we, we change our status from being an enemy to a friend and a subject of his kingdom because of the death of Christ. But we are saved through his life. It's when his life comes in that something begins to happen. That's when we're born. That's when we begin to grow up and God has purposed that we grow up in this context. So how easy is it for the devil? If you were the, if you were the devil, how would you go about fighting that? You would certainly distract.

You would attack the reality of what God has done and is it really for you? Is it enough? And all of that, all those kinds of things. Every kind of lie that the devil can throw out. But God wants something, a piece of art, not just a hat. This is a piece of armor. It's meant to protect our thinking because we live in a world that is founded upon lies. I don't care what people are doing, even if it's charitable work. If it's founded upon the philosophy of this world, it's built upon a lie that we are one way or another, our own God's life is what we make it. Well, I'll tell you, I want the life that he makes. And I need to take my place every day, not just as somebody who's going to get out there and do it, but as someone who needs a savior. Praise God. If I'm taking the helmet of salvation, the first thing I'm acknowledging is I got a need. God's got a purpose that goes way beyond this. Even if I'm competent and able to do stuff in this world, that's not what it's about. So what? Whatever I might accomplish, it's all going to burn up here, but God has called me out of this. He's called me for a reason, and that reason involves rescuing me, and today is part of that. It's not just some vague, something that happens somehow, somewhere. This is my life. When I get out of bed in the morning, getting ready for the day is not just, again, putting your clothes on and eating breakfast. I need to connect with the author of life. I need to connect, and I need to have this on my head so that when I look at what I do, I'm connected. Obviously, it involves prayer, and it involves all of those things, but I'm thinking about

the conscious act of saying, Lord, I need not just this. I need all of the armor. I need to put that on and recognize this is where I'm at. This is what I need to be able to face the day, not just having breakfast. I wonder how many times we do that. You think about what life is about. So much of our actions are obviously their choices, but they become habit. I believe the Lord can help us to be more conscious of this. He certainly had a way of doing it for me the other morning. He allowed me to feel that attack of the enemy, and it wasn't just, oh, I'm feeling bad. There was an enemy. God doesn't want us to be afraid, but he wants us to be aware. There are enemies. Could that enemy have done that if the Lord hadn't allowed him to do it? See, we know these things in theory, but I'm wondering how many times we get up in the morning and they're just not part of our thinking, and I sense the need in my own heart to be more connected with this, because if I'm not, what am I connected with? And my mind earlier in the week had gone to Romans 8, the familiar scripture that we know it was referred to on Wednesday evening, and my mind went to part of that even on Wednesday evening, and then I just kind of, oh, well, okay, I'll put that on the shelf. That's not really what this is about, and then it kind of came back to me in connection with the helmet of salvation, because this is a description of what salvation involves, and we know, verse 28, that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to whose purpose? See, I wonder how many times we're working and doing the things that we do on a daily basis, and it's kind of for our purpose. I wonder how many would admit that. Are we living out our purpose, or are we living with a consciousness that God has a reason I'm here, that everything that happens in my life is connected with His purpose? Now, is His purpose driven by selfishness, by anything other than love?

He seeks my absolute good in everything that He does, but He has ... If I'm handing my life over to Him, if my life truly is in His hands, have I not handed Him the right to do what He wants, what He needs to do, to get me to the goal, and of course, He talks about what that is, all right? He works for the good of those who love Him who have been called according to what? Based on what? His purpose. His purpose. Does God have a purpose for your life here today? How conscious are you that you have a reason for being? That God knows who you are, where you're at, what your need is. He knows where He's taking you, knows how to get you there, and of course, look at what He says following this, for those God foreknew, He also predestined ... Oh, I'm so thankful my destiny has been already settled. I have no power to do any of that, but I'm serving one who has accomplished everything, who said on the cross, it is finished. And He meant me, and He meant you, if you've ever put your trust in Him. Those God foreknew, He also predestined to what? To be conformed to the image of His Son. What is your life about? What is my life about? If it's not being conformed to the image of His Son, what is it about? And it helps to ... see a different way through a different set of eyes as to what constitutes a good day or a bad day or success or whatever. We can have a terrible day, but if God gives us the grace to be thankful and to find rest in Him, is that a good day or a bad day? Whatever God does, whatever He allows in your life has to do with His purpose, not yours. And that's a lot of our trouble, I think, most of the time, is that we've got what we think how things ought to be.

If He really loved me, this would happen. You know, we got all kinds of ideas in our heads, and God wants us to put on a helmet that says, wait a minute, I'm in need of a Savior, and I've got one, and He's the only one who knows what's right, knows how to get me there, and has made every perfect provision to get me there. So does it make any sense at all for me to fuss at Him? Well, of course, you wouldn't say, well, I'm fussing at God. But are you fussing at what He allows? That means yes. The thing is, how do we react to the stuff that happens in our lives? Do we see it through God's eyes and say, yes, God loves me. He knows me. And I'd like, I know how I'd like for stuff to happen. I know how I want to feel, I know I want my circumstances to be this. But God has a different purpose, and He's looking way beyond everything that happens here, because this is all going to be gone. He's looking at the goal. What's the goal? Those God formed to be predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. He wants me as a brother. Somebody like me? Wow. And those He predestined, He also called. Those He called, He also justified. He made me righteous. That's where I can get the breastplate of righteousness. Nothing I've produced. Do you really believe that He has given you the right to stand before a holy God as if you had never sinned?

Let that sink in. But how often do we take that and say, thank you, Lord, I acknowledge what you've done for me, and I stand based upon that. Help me to live that out. And if I don't do it perfectly to come to you and realize that the blood of Jesus Christ is ... There's a continual cleansing that happens as I grow and learn. But I've got this. I've got a defense against all the devil's accusations. I may have done a whole lot of stuff, but you have put it away in the sea of your forgetfulness. Thank God. Thank God for the simple reality of this. We've heard these things a gazillion times, but they're necessary. That we learn how to literally take the action that He's talking about. Because it's wonderful to just sort of know this in a vague sense. But when we're in the field of battle, when we're walking through daily life, don't we need to say, wait a minute, thank you, Lord, for the gift of your righteousness. Thank you that you're my Savior, that you provided a perfect Savior in Jesus. Praise God for all that He has done. I'm in need of that, and I thank you for this day. I put my life in your hands. I acknowledge you in all my ways. You direct my paths. Help me just to be at rest. Well, it's interesting. One of the pieces of armor, of preparation, has to do with your feet, doesn't it? And what's that? Peace. Isn't that what He came to give us? Isn't that what reconciliation means? That I'm in a state of peace with God where I was fighting against Him?

But the reality is that we as Christians don't always walk in that to the degree we should. If something bad happens to you that you don't like, and you're reacting against that and being angry, being upset, being whatever, complaining, who are you complaining about? Who are you complaining about? Didn't God allow that? Or is it only in some things that He's working? Because God's looking way past success. Whatever, in this kind of life, he's saying, I'm trying to get this person who doesn't have a clue half the time, I'm trying to get them ready so that they can stand there in glory. Because isn't that what he said? Those he justified, he also glorified. And how many times have we pointed out that God's goal, what everything about this life is, about one thing, it's getting me and you all the way, like his son, so I can stand there with glowing glory. None of this world and all that's wrong with it would cling. It's gone. It's gone forever. Well, how do I get from where I started in this world to that place? That God's allowed us to have to live here and to fight. But has he given us what we need? Has he? Is there anything that he hasn't given? Well, the devil loves to attack that. Well, he doesn't mean me because, I'll tell you, that's where truth comes in, right? This world is full of its own versions of truth and what actually is true. And of course, the foolish idea that everybody has their own truth, wow, you see the father of lies behind all that. When Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, the life, was he lying? Was he deceived? I want to listen to what he says. I want thoughts that come into my mind, thoughts that maybe live there a little bit. And the thoughts that I see coming from every direction in this world, I want every single one of them to be measured by what God says, by his Spirit. If I don't arm myself with these things and enter my day with a sense of what's really going on, that I am in a battlefield, I'm not equipped in myself to handle it. God has a reason for putting me in that battlefield, but he's given me everything I need. But there's a part that I'm supposed to play. Do I make the choices that I need to make?

That I need to make consciously to absolutely step in to what he has given me and accept and believe it and take it personally and believe that, yes, I stand because what he has done. Doesn't matter what my past is. Doesn't matter my weaknesses. I can come to him and be cleansed and know that today, this day, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and on through the week, every day when I get up, I don't just get out of bed and get dressed. I need to put on this armor. I need to make a conscious choice to say, Lord, I need every part of this today because the devil is going to be attacking me. You know, it's a whole lot easier if you were in a place where there was open persecution. You say, oh yeah, I got to be ready. I got to be ready. Well, I'll tell you, that's where we're at in this country. There is an evil kingdom that is absolutely out to attack everyone. If the devil attacks you, God allowed it. Why would he do such a thing? Sometimes it's to make it real to us that we got a problem, that we need help and we need deliverance from. Is there a source of deliverance? Is he doing it to defeat us and discourage us and get rid of us? Or is he doing it because you don't understand this. You need something from me. You don't even realize it. I'm going to show you where you got a need. And I'm doing it because I love you enough to help you to see it. And when you see it, I want you to bring that to me with faith because I've done, I've finished what needs to happen for you to be free. Praise God. It's such simple stuff, but is there a truth here that anybody here needs? Do we need to be making daily conscious choices to put the armor on every single piece of it? And what good is it to say, I believe it, and then the battle comes and this thing called faith is sitting in the closet. What is faith if it's not lifted up and used? Faith without works or action is dead. God wants us to have enough of a confidence, not only in what He did, but that He did it for me, that He meant me with all of my need, that I can just come to Him and find strength. Oh, what an awesome salvation we have, what an awesome Savior that we have. It's not like He built the bridge all the way and said, all right, you finish it. He said, I've built the bridge all the way, but you've got to walk across it. I want you to learn how to make choices, and as you do, I'm going to take you, and you're going to learn from me. You're going to grow in grace and strength. Such simple thoughts.

We've heard these things over and over and over again. But here I was this week just finding myself in exactly the place where I need this. I need this. Do you? Yeah. So what are we going to do about it? Are we going to ask the Lord to teach us and help us to grow in these areas and say, Lord, help me, whether it's when I get up in the morning or when I go out, help me to have this mindset. Help me to see my life today through Your eyes, and what is the purpose of this day? Now obviously there are earthly responsibilities, that's part of it. We live out His character within this world. But the reason we're here is not to acquire things and accomplish things in this world. It's to grow in Him, and in the process, God can actually use us to further the kingdom. That's what ... If your life is not about that, what is it about? Oh, that's for the special ones. I'm just, you know, I just got a business. I've got a job. I'm just one of the people in the pew. There's no such thing. God has a reason why you are here today, and He's looking for conscious choices that have to do with His purpose, not yours. Isn't that what Jesus did? Did Jesus come here to do His own will? He came here to do the will of the Father 100%, not my will, but Yours be done, even though it meant the death of the cross. He did that for you and for me. What incredible love. Oh, praise God. Oh, the devil will do anything that he can to undermine our faith in what Jesus did.

To not believe it's for us, to not step into it and say, thank you, Lord. I'm putting that on. I am stopping. I'm going to measure everything that comes into my head by what God says. End of story. But do you see this sense with every part of this armor, starting with the helmet and how I see my life, every part of it starts with a choice. God does not plunk it on my head and say, all right, it's done for life. This is something that we are meant to take up. Why would Paul talk to Christians after all the things he said about them, warned them about the battle, and then said, you're going to need to take this and put it on. And the verb is an action. It's not a once and done kind of thing. This is not just a once in your life thing. Okay, I've got the armor on, I'm good. This is taking it out of the closet every morning and putting it on. Putting it on the middle of the night if you need to, if you wake up. But at every point, what God has done for us belongs to us and is meant for us to make a conscious choice in the moment of need to take that and say thank you for it and use it and understand the devil knows it better than we do, that he has no answer when we're standing on what Jesus did. I can never stand on any virtue in me, any ability in me, but I can sure stand on what he did. To him be the glory and the honor and the praise. Well, praise God. I didn't have any idea how all this was going to go today, but God is faithful. I'm thankful he uses weakness because that's all I got. But that's all you've got too. I don't care if you're young, just wait. Just wait.

You look back and say, where did it go? What was I living for? Do you believe that God wants to direct your path? Do you believe that he loves you, that when Jesus went to that cross, it was for you? He took care of everything that stands between you and being on the wrong side of that judgment seat. But oh, we need to be able to take that to ourselves and walk in what Jesus gave us. Take the money out of the bank and use it. When we need it because we got everything we could possibly ever need to make it happen, but it ain't going to happen without our choices. I don't want to overstate that because God will work with our choices. But you know what I mean, God wants you and me to make those choices every day. So when I get up in the morning, I want to stop and say, what is my purpose today? What is this day really about? Is it about just fulfilling my earthly needs and desires or is this about eternity? Is God going to be doing stuff in my life today that affects that? And am I conscious of it? Am I willing to participate in that? Praise God. Put that helmet on. Yes, sir. This is the way I'm looking at life. And it's a defense against all of the enemy wants to fire in there to the contrary. I'm a sinner, a need of a savior, but I've got one who has absolutely completed everything that he needs to take me all the way home. And everything that he allows in my life today, he is working for that purpose. Let that be my purpose. Let me not have any controversy between me and God about it. Let me be completely in harmony, at peace with what he wants to do so that I can find rest. I can enjoy it. I can have joy even when it doesn't go the way I would prefer that it went. I still have a reason to say, Lord, I know you're on the throne. I know you love me and you're in charge in the story. Praise God. Thank you for bringing me through this day. Thank you for where you're taking me. Do we have a reason to be able to do that? Or is this just theory? God wants to take this out of the book and put it in our everyday lives. Your day, your life on Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday and on through the week has an eternal purpose that God is working out in your life. Wouldn't it be good if we understood that and learned how to cooperate better with that? Can the Lord teach us those things? Will he? Absolutely, he will. That's his heart. That's what it's all about. Why would he tell us these things if he said, okay, well, I didn't mean you?

Where does that wisdom come from? What do we do with that wisdom? That's not so. That's not what the Word says. And devil, here's what it does say. I'm going to take that sword and remind you what it actually says. Praise God. Is God going to honor his Word? Is he faithful? Is he actually going to accomplish what he said he was going to accomplish? Is there anyone in heaven, in heaven and earth, whatever, that can stop him? Praise God. Just read the end of the eighth chapter of Romans and you'll be reminded of that. So praise God. Praise God. Praise God. I want to get up here and share just a little bit before, while it's still fresh in my mind. We, a lot of us attended this, the class, Unseen War. And that's what we're talking about this morning. Phil's talking about the battle we're in, is Satan attacking us with these arrows in our minds. He'll use somebody else. He'll use your best friend. He'll use your spouse, whatever it is. He'll attack us. That's, that's what he, that's his job. But anyway, what I want to say is we, that class was not just to be a class. And we say, hey, that was a good class. You know, let's move on with our lives. God brought that to us, I believe 100%. And what if he gave us a really awesome tool or weapon that we, a weapon we can fight with. And we said, oh, that was cool class. You know, let's go back to normal. Or what if he said, here's a way that you can clean off every leech or some people have pets. What if you had a tick? What if you had a bunch of ticks stuck to you? Would you just leave them there? Or leeches? Would you just leave them there? Well, you know, that's just my personality. No, this is something that's hurting you. And it's, you know, it's allowing you not to be very effective. Talking about we're in a battle. How can we fight very well when we, when we know we have this thing? Well, I just get mad at people and they're actually all wrong. Everybody's wrong. And that's my personality. They're all wrong, I'm right. They're not as smart as me. You know what I mean? I hope I'm making sense. We have things. I had a bunch of them. I had this retooling done with Chaz,

and now we know how to do it. And I think the men are working on having some men that are going to be able to help anybody here that thinks they maybe want to get that done. What's the retooling? Just as quickly as I can try to make it so I don't take up a lot of time. If there are any demons, demonic assignments, and my Aunt Wendy sent me a video of Billy Graham from like the 70s. He uses some of those same words. Assignments. It's their job to mess with you. And they thought of them as being with you since you were little. They know you better than you know yourself, so they're really good at it. But we don't have to just keep them. We can say, I want this thing gone. And they have to leave. A lot of them do not have to leave. You know why? Because they have ground. If they have ground, you gave them ground, or for some other reason they have ground. But through this retooling, you take the ground away. And these things have to leave. Look, I see Avis back there smiling. There's a lot of people that have had this thing done. They are gone.

The ones that were on me, and I would be in an argument with somebody. And when it was over, I'd be like, well, you said this. And no, I didn't say that. I was literally hearing something. I was hearing wrong. Who do you think was doing that? This demon was filtering something that you, somebody that loves me, said. And I heard something different than what they said. Or I remembered something that happened wrong. I don't want that. I think that's happened a lot. I don't know how long that happened in my life. Somebody tell me that loves me, come and tell me something, and I hear different words than they actually said? What if I told you that that might be happening to you right now? And what if I told you there's a way to get rid of these things? I hope every person that can hear my voice right now will say, hey, maybe I should pray about getting one of these retoolings done, because it's a world different. Every day, we're having, and maybe it's easier to see the attacks now, there's stuff attacking still. But now I know a little bit. There's a lot of them stuck to me, if that makes sense. And I can fight better now. But I want to tell all y'all about that while it's still fresh in my mind.

It's only been a couple weeks ago. But I can spend, I had a hard time reading my Bible. And it's like, I can't hardly, I get sleepy real fast. I can't read much. And some people are like, yeah, well, maybe I'm not a good reader. That's what I was thinking. I'm not a good reader, not that smart, not a good reader. But guess what, I can read the thing now. I could read like the, I read the Acts the other day. I read John the other day. I can sit down and read for two hours. Just read it and understand it. Before, I could read two or three chapters and be like, man, this is a lot. Sit down and try to figure this, I can't take this much. God's helping me to be able to read it and understand it and remember it. And that was one of the, I guarantee that's one of the things, one of the things I had to leave. One of the, I'm gonna keep saying things. I'm not gonna, one demon that was attached to me, it was his job, I'm not saying I was possessed. That's the wrong word. This thing is his job to mess with Michael. It was his assignment, his duty. This thing's gone and now I can clearly read my Bible. If you think you have anything like that, please talk to one of the men and let's get these things gone.

Think about an old boat, got these barnacles attached to it. After a while, they scrape them off. This is a way you can get them scraped off. We have a new weapon, a new tool. Let's use it and not forget about it because the class was just the other day. And say, oh, I don't think I have anything. Nothing wrong with me. Do the thing anyway and just see because I think you might find something. I had a pile of them. Myself and my wife and my daughter, we had this done. Our home's a new place. I want to go home after work now. Does anybody not want to go home after work? Don't raise your hand because your wife might be looking. But I look forward to going home now. That's a, yeah, you can have that if you don't have it right now. And do we have problems? We've got plenty of problems still, but God's helping us and we can recognize these attacks now. Just the same attacks Phil's talking about. We are in a battle and if you want to be able to see more clearly, like somebody that needs glasses, that's a good thought. Lord just, I think Lord's giving me a thought. Well somebody that needs glasses, they don't have them on, they can't see very good. They might not be able to tell who's in the third row here. How about, here's some glasses, now you can fight better. You know, like Phil had this surgery. They actually like cut off the LASIK surgery. They scrape off the front layer of your eyeball. Then you can see more clearly. We need to get that scraped off. God is good and y'all keep praying for our family. And, but he has, we have a new family. That's what we say in my house now. We have a new family. Anybody that can hear me can have a new one too.
