Prison Ministry Devotionals- Pastor Logan, Robert and Stacey

Good morning, men and women, it's such an honor and a privilege and a pleasure to get to speak into your life from Life Fellowship Church here in McKinney on the Pando app. It's just blows my mind, technology and how God has brought tablets into the facilities that you guys are in. My name is Logan Williams, my TDC number was 1490218 and I have four numbers after that and no time when I was in there did I have the Pando app. I didn't have the tablets, man, I sure wish that I did because I might have made some different choices. I might have spent my free time differently, you know, and we see as we go into these jails and prisons that God truly is popping off revival. He truly is raising up an army. He's raising up sons and daughters in the facilities behind the wire. It's an amazing thing to see and I truly believe that it's because of the Pando app is one of the reasons. It's really awesome. Hey, speaking of the Pando app, you can tell your friends and family that they can download the same Pando app on their phone and that you can watch the same things that they watch. Y'all can watch the same messages together, the same devotionals, the same teachings. There's books, there's the chosen, there's the Bible recap, and there's probably another hundred things that I don't even know about yet because it's so vast. I was thinking about Romans 7, I was reading it this weekend and really trying to, along with the Holy Spirit, come with a revelation for my life and for other people's lives. I'm going to start in just verse 18. It says, and I know that nothing good lives in me that is in my sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can't. I want to do what is good, but I don't. I don't want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway. But if I do what I don't want to do, I am not really the one doing wrong.

It is sin living in me that does it. I've discovered this principle of life that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God's law with all my heart, but there's another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to sin that is still within me. Oh, what a miserable person I am. Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God the answer is in Jesus Christ, our Lord. Anybody that's tried to walk this Christian walk out, this faith walk out, can certainly relate to these verses, although they might not admit that, right? It's not really something that we admit that, golly, man, I'm having trouble in my flesh. I am wanting to do right, but I'm in a season of life where it doesn't matter how much I want to do right. I still do this other thing. My wife and I lead out a recovery group, a 12-step Christ-based recovery group, and we also have started a regen recovery group at the Buster Cole unit. The first step, admitting that we're powerless over whatever it is that's killing us, that first part, this is the memory burst that goes with that, saying, and I know that nothing good lives within me that isn't my sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can't. I don't know if any of you ... I know here in Texas, about 80% of the people that are in prison, it's because of drugs or drug-related things that come along with drugs, addiction. This very thing that we're talking about, and I don't know if any of you have said to yourself, maybe on the unit that you're at, maybe even when you were in the world, that, man, I got to stop doing this thing. I'm going to go back to prison again if I keep doing this thing, yet we still do this thing. We meant it. Have you ever said that and meant it, but yet here we go again.

We're doing it again, and yes, we get arrested again, and yes, we end up in prison again. It's like, dang, man. I saw that coming. I really, really, really mean it this time, because I don't want to come back yet again, yet. we do it again. Can anybody relate to that? Because that's my story for about 20 years. And it's super frustrating. Nothing good lives with me. That is in my sinful nature. I want to do right, but I can't. But then we read, we continue reading. I've discovered this principle that when I want to do right, I inevitably do what's wrong. I love God's law with all my heart. Like, I love Jesus. Like, I'm going to open church services. I'm getting baptized. I'm checking all the boxes. Still can't stop smoking K2. Still can't grab that thing every time it rolls by me and turn into a zombie and do all the crazy things that happen in prison, you know, when we smoke K2 or whatever it is that your thing is. It could be pornography. It could be any kind of sin. Anger, hate,

lust. It doesn't matter. They're all the same destructive. They kill us spiritually. Now they just look different in the flesh. You know, nobody is going to go to prison for 20 years for clicking on pornhub.com, but it's the same spiritual death. Some of our flavors of sin just happen to put us in places that we don't want to be, but it's the same spiritual death and you can feel it on the inside of you. But thank God, the answer is in Jesus Christ, our Lord. Like, we can't do anything apart from him. And even if we try with all of our effort that we can muster, our good works are but filthy rags. The best example of that is the thief on the cross that literally did nothing. He was a thief his entire life. He's getting executed for his crimes. And about five minutes before he died, he just said, hey, Jesus, remember me. I think God was trying to use that as an example, you know, as the first one into heaven under the new covenant, did absolutely nothing except, hey, remember me. He just believed. That's all that he did. He didn't get baptized.

He didn't take growth track. He didn't join a life group. He didn't lead out an unequipped group. He didn't feed the homeless. He didn't do prison ministry. He didn't read the Bible. He didn't memorize scripture. He didn't do any of that stuff. None of it, zero. He literally said, remember me, and then he died. And he was the first one in under the new covenant. Guys, it's nothing that we do. And if we get caught up in this, I have to do all these things before Jesus loves me, that we're on the wrong track. That's not the grace of Jesus. Jesus says that while you were still sinners, I died for you. And that is the thing when we can get that into our heart as a revelation that we can live from, that he, even on our darkest moments, looked down from heaven and saw all that I was doing when I was shooting dope and robbing people and doing credit card fraud and living in hotels with the prostitutes and all that stuff, even, and could care less about him, he still looked down and said, that's my beloved. He didn't see crazy dope shooting, credit card fraud, prostitute Logan. He saw 2026 Logan, the Logan he created

that's doing prison ministry that he's risen up and is doing things for him. That's who he sees when he sees you and he chooses to die for you, even though you want nothing to do with him. And that's what changes us, guys. That's what changes us more than any of the effort that we can do, any of the stuff that we need to check off. Oh, I didn't read my Bible this morning and I only prayed for 30 seconds. Gosh, man, maybe Jesus doesn't love me as much as he did yesterday when I read like two chapters of Romans and prayed for five minutes. Like that's crazy thinking that we all tend to fall victim to because nothing good lives in me, nothing, in my flesh. Thank God the answer is in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, guys. This is our only hope. But I want you to have hope because he saved a wretch like me, bro. He pulled me from the domain of darkness and transferred me into his marvelous light and gave me a place at the table. And I never thought that I would have that. I thought that I was heading back to prison again for the fifth time. and to get my fifth number. And who knows how long that one will be. I'd probably still be there right now.

Maybe not, maybe not. I've been saved four and a half years. Probably still be there. Thank God, man. But he's looking for your yes. He's looking for you to get all in. And yes, we, you know, these scriptures are kind of tricky because it's saying nothing good lives in me. I want to do right, but I can't and all that kind of stuff. We, if we're not careful, we can use that as an excuse to just keep on sinning, to just keep on living however we want to live. Well, the Bible says I can't do anything about it anyway. But see, we have to wage war against our sin, but knowing that it's not us that's doing it, it's him that dwells within us. The same power that called Lazarus out the grave that dwells within us. We have to have, this is so important, guys. I want to give y'all some encouragement, man. He wants to use you right where you're at, in the facility that you're at, the crazy place that you're at. I was at a prison not long ago. There was a guy came to the altar. He can't stop doing drugs. He'd been caught multiple times, got cases. They took his tablet away. And basically they made a wing that was all the drug users.

Like this is throw them all down there. And I don't even think the staff goes down there. They just let them have their way down there. No tablets, no, you know, and he's down there, but he's in church and he's like, bro, like, I don't know what to do. And I'm like, man, God wants to use you. Even if you're in a place like that, you can be light in the darkness. And that's what he wants for you, man. He wants you wherever you're at, because that's where he has you. He has you placed right where you're at, like bloom where you're planted. He wants to use you, man, to be an encouragement to somebody else, to pray for people, to start a Bible study, to start a prayer circle, to who knows what, I don't know. I know one guy that he just watches the phones because we can have some pretty jacked up phone calls when we finally get through to someone. And he just prays for people that he knows just had a difficult phone call, that he knows just got some bad news. I don't know what he has for you, but I do know that whatever it is, it's irrevocable. Romans 11, 29 says the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. They can't be changed or omitted or taken back or he doesn't change his mind.

Now that's on you, it's irrevocable, but it's up to us to step into that. It's up to us to step into that. We're the ones that can revoke it off of us because we don't step into it. But if he has it on our life, man. So if you don't know what that is, ask him. If you don't have like-minded people around you to do this walk with you, whatever facility you're in, ask him to put those people in your life. This is so important. It's hard in there, I know. It's easier out here to find like-minded people to walk with because we're in a church full of them. You're in a wing where half the people are getting high, the other half don't care about God or anything else. It's hard to find like-minded people. But if you can do it in there, man, in the face of people talking smack about you, in the face of people coming against you, in the face of people saying, yo, you're just hiding behind the Bible because you don't wanna get down or all that stuff. If you can do it in there, guys, you're gonna be miles ahead out here, miles ahead. So I hope you guys enjoy this message. Let me pray for you all. Father, we love you and we thank you. Thank you for every single person that's watching this video today.

I pray that you would let them know that it is not by accident that they are watching this video today, that you have called every single person, that you are after them. You've left 99 to get them. And I pray, God, that they would just surrender, that they would just know that you not only want to save them and transform them, but you want to use them right where they're at. It's not some far off, when I get my life together calling on your life, it's right now. You wanna use them right now. And I just pray, God, that someone hears that and that someone gets a fire lit in them to allow you to use them in the space that they're at right now. We love you so much. We thank you, God. I pray that you would bless their families while they're gone, that you would just be a provider to their families, that you would be a father to their children, that you would be the great physician to family members. members that are sick or or or injured god we just ask for your blessing on all these inmates that you've called that are watching and all of their families and we love you so much in jesus name amen whose house god's house let's give him some praise what's going on everybody my name is robert so honored to be able to speak into your life today and a if you know anything about me um i love to grow i love to get better i love to go to the new level every single day yesterday is

the floor for for for the level that i'm going to rise to today and one of the ways that i like to do that is i love to read i love to just stuff my mind with a bunch of information and be able to apply that information into my life and so one of the books i'm reading right now is how to win friends and influence people and i came across this quote in there that said two men looked out from from prison bars one saw the mud the other saw stars and so some key takeaways from that for me whenever i just like processed it this perspective is everything and how an individual views their situation shapes how they experience it and what choices they they make in that situation and then i think um there's some internal control people can change their experience and outcomes by intentionally shifting their focus from negative factors to positive opportunities and they get to choose to see the stars rather than rather than see the mud so i so i think we need to have a proactive mindset in this successful people are often those who are persistent and keep trying and maintain a positive and constructive and appreciative attitude rather than focusing on limitations or complaining so essentially um this is advocating for that while we cannot always control our external circumstances we have ultimate control over our over our internal response and i'm sure many of you feel like you're in a crisis right now so i want to ask you have you ever noticed that two people can walk through the exact same situation and one comes out stronger while the other comes out stuck and most people if we're honest we approach this we we tend to approach crisis from a from a defensive mindset i can imagine a number of you people a number of y'all feel like you're in crisis right now and we're too often we're trying to survive it we're trying to manage it or really we're just trying to we're just trying to make it through it but what if crisis was never meant to put you on defense because what if we were actually meant to fight crisis on offense what if we were meant to apply the pressure to the crisis rather than the crisis applying pressure to us because yes crisis can bring fear and doubt and more questions than answers but when we understand who we are in god when we understand our identity in christ the crisis that that came to instill fear in us is it actually starts to fear us does that make sense so and anytime i'm going through something extremely difficult and i have i've been through financial crisis and i've been through a number of other crises as well and i've learned to get the perspective of i'm not just trying to survive this but i'm going to get through this stronger i'm not going to shrink back or put my head in the sand i'm going to keep stepping forward i'm going to i'm not going to wait for it to pass i'm going

to grow through it i'm not going to have pressure applied to me i'm going to apply the pressure to it and so in every moment of pressure here's the real question am i going to shrink through this season or am i going to develop through it and by the way what what is pressure i think pressure in its simplest i'm sorry what is crisis i think crisis in its simplest form is pressure being applied to you and and pressure being applied to you in an exorbitant amount and i think that's obviously a very general definition of what crisis can be but i think in its simplest form that's what it is and so and i think a state of mind i think a state of mind that we can all get to what is is getting the right perspective psalms 56 3 says when i am afraid i put my trust in you so trust is a choice we have to have a state of mind a choice we have to have a heart posture of of trust and so fear may show up but it doesn't get to lead choices lead and the feelings follow you don't win the battle in the physical first we win it in our minds and in our hearts and so crisis it doesn't start when something breaks it starts with how we see what is breaking because in every situation we have a decision to make is this crisis going to eat me alive or am i going to eat it am i going to shrink in this moment or am i going to develop and grow through it is the thing that is this a thing that's going to take me out or is or is this a thing that god is going to use to build me into the man of god that he wants me to be or the woman of god that he wants me to be so two people can walk into the same crisis but one can walk out stronger the other the other will walk out stuck and the difference is not the situation, it's the perspective and the actions they took from the perspective that they had. Because our perspective, the way we see things is the way we do things. So I came across a few perspectives the other day that I wanna quickly share with you. And so here's property law according to a toddler. If I like it, it's mine. If I can take it from you, it's mine. If I had it a while ago, it's mine. If I say it's mine, it's mine.

If it looks like mine, it's mine. If you're having fun with it, it's mine. If you put it down, it's mine. But if it's broken, it's yours. Here's another one, this is excerpts from a dog's diary. 8 a.m., food, my favorite thing. 9 a.m., a car ride, my favorite thing. 10 a.m., a walk in the park, my favorite thing. 11 a.m., I got rubbed and petted, my favorite thing. Noon, lunch, my favorite thing. 1 p.m., I played in the yard, my favorite thing. 3 p.m., I wagged my tail, my favorite thing. 5 p.m., treats, my favorite thing. 7 p.m., got to play with the ball, my favorite thing. 9 p.m., I got to watch TV with the humans, my favorite thing. 11 p.m., I get to sleep in bed, my favorite thing. And then this is excerpts from a cat's diary. Day 1,132 of my captivity. My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre, dangling objects. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. And that dog and the cat, they're in the same house. So perspective is everything. Perspective determines how we interpret pressure, how we respond emotionally, and whether we break or we build. We don't break because of pressure, we break because of the perspective

that we carry into that pressure, into that crisis. And so I wanna imagine our lives as if they were a collection of accounts, in the same way that we would have multiple bank accounts for multiple things, or multiple budgets. Our lives have accounts of emotional, spiritual, relational, and physical reserves. And every day, we are either making deposits or withdrawals into these accounts. And those, and the amount of reserves that we have in these accounts, determine our resilience. What is resilience? Resilience is the ability to withstand pressure, recover from adversity, and keep moving forward. So I'll say it again, what is resilience? Resilience is the ability to withstand pressure, recover from adversity, and keep moving forward. When crisis hits, we don't fall to the level of our desire, we don't rise to the level of our desire, we fall to the level of our reserves. Our reserves of resilience. Grandma said it like this, prepare or save for a rainy day, because it's gonna rain. Robert, you need to be positive. I'm positive, it's gonna rain. You need to have faith. I have faith, it's gonna rain. You need to believe. I believe that one day it is gonna rain.

Crisis is gonna come in one way, shape, or form. So Psalm 55, 22 says, cast your burden on the Lord and he will sustain you. God can sustain us, but we have to bring him something to sustain. So how do we make deposits into our accounts? Our spiritual account, obviously we pray, we read our word, we worship, we do all these spiritual disciplines. Our relational account, community, are we surrounding ourselves with the right people? Encouragement and connections. By the way, the biggest indicator, according to science on how we'll react to and handle crisis is the quality of the relationships that we have. So in other words, do we have good buddies who love us enough to tell us the truth? And then that plays into the next account, which is our emotional account. Are we getting enough rest? Are we able to process our thoughts, our emotions, our feelings? Are we able to be honest about them with someone? And then our physical account, are we working out? Are we staying in shape? Are we being fit? Are we getting enough sleep? Are we prioritizing our health? Are we recovering? Every day we make deposits and withdrawals

into each of these accounts. Deposits, they build strength, and withdrawals drain our capacity. And if our withdrawals exceed our deposits, then we enter a resilience crisis. So resilience requires margin. Margin, what is margin? Margin is the difference between your load and your limits. If your load exceeds your limits, we break. But if our limits exceed our load, then we're gonna endure through that crisis. Many people, we're not breaking because life is too hard, we're breaking because we have no margin in these different accounts. So in other words, most of us are one unexpected situation away from collapse. So I want you to picture, just imagine your air conditioner is breaking in the middle of the summer, and your air conditioner is breaking in your house in the middle of summer. And if you have no financial reserves to take care of that, then that's gonna lead to panic. That's a life or death situation. But if you have financial margin to take care of that, then it's still gonna suck, but that crisis is no longer a crisis, it's now just an inconvenience. But again, it's still gonna suck, but our reaction back isn't life or death,

it's not life or death because we have the reserves to handle that crisis. In the same way, when we've got accounts of emotional, spiritual, relational, and physical lives, and we have accounts of emotional, spiritual, relational, and physical accounts in our lives with margin in them, it now turns crisis into an inconvenience. Otherwise, our life is turning into drama after drama after drama after drama until we put our big boy and big girl pants on and decide to live out the principles and develop the habits and disciplines that stand as the boundaries between a life of abundance and a life of scarcity. This perspective can create security for us in every aspect of our lives. So crisis exposes what we've built. Crisis does not create weakness, it reveals weakness. Crisis reveals whether we have reserves, it reveals whether we have margin, and it reveals our perspective. If we are empty, crisis will expose it, but if we are grounded, if we are disciplined, crisis will prove it. So resilience is built before the storm. James 1.3, the testing of your faith produces perseverance. I think we can substitute that word there, testing, the testing of your faith. I think another way to say that is crisis produces perseverance. Resilience is not a personality.

No, you're not just, we're not, nobody's just born with it. It's not talent, but it's something that we build over time by the habits and the disciplines that we act out every single day. We don't build resilience in the storm. The storm reveals what we built before it, before the storm comes. Jesus alludes to this when he refers to a house that's built on a rock, is not easily destroyed. So how is resilience built? It's built through spiritual discipline. It's built through relational support. It's built through emotional health. It's built through physical stewardship. Physical stewardship. Resilience is intentional. No one just drifts into a place of strength. The goal is not just to survive crisis. The goal is to be made whole through crisis. In other words, the crisis is there so that it can prune off everything that is not needed for us to go to the next level. In other words, crisis can be viewed as an opportunity for breakthrough. And so once we reach a state of wholeness, then we literally become men of integrity. The word integrity comes from the Latin integer, or the Latin word integer, which means to be whole, to be complete, to be undivided. It's where we get the math term integer.

It means a whole number. It's not a fraction, it's a whole number. So survival says, I made it through, but resilience will say, I grew through it. When the crisis is properly viewed and stewarded, the crisis molds us into better men on the other side. God does not waste pressure. He uses it to produce strength and wholeness. And so an immature perspective would say, why is this happening to me? But a mature perspective would say, what is God doing in me through this? Immature faith is gonna shrink. We're gonna play victim. But mature faith is gonna build us up. We can't always control what happens to us, but we can control how we see it. And how we see it will determine how we act through it. And how we see it will also determine whether we break or whether we become stronger. I don't have time to do it today, but we can look through any profound biblical figure. I mean, Job, Jesus, Joseph, and any profound biblical figure has gotten, you'll find that this is true. They went through crisis and they were better on the other side. The crisis made them into the man of God that God meant them to be. in. And so anyways, Lord, I just pray that you would just,

Lord, I just pray that you would open our minds that we could just receive your wisdom and that you could just help us shift our perspective on whether we're going through a crisis or whether it is a crisis or an inconvenience or whatever it is, Lord. I just pray that there will be no victim mindset, Lord. I pray that there would just be radical transformation and I pray that there will be radical responsibility, radical ownership and that Lord, I just pray that the people under my voice that they would just act out the disciplines that you've given them, Lord. I just pray that we would read our word and that we wouldn't just be readers of the word, but we would be doers of the word and that we will put the disciplines that the word teaches us into our lives and allow it to spark radical transformation so that we can live this abundant life that you promised us. Hi, my name is Stacey. I'm a Life. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. My name is Stacey. I'm a Life Fellowship Prison Ministry volunteer and also a. Hi. Hey there everyone. My name is Stacey Hunter. My TDC number is 0. Hey y'all. My name is Stacey Hunter. My TDC number is 2377061. I have another one after that. I'm also a Life Fellowship Church Prison Ministry volunteer and I'm here to speak live to you today. Just to give you a little bit of my background. I'm a recovering drug addict. I'm a recovering a little bit of everything because we all know what comes along with that lifestyle and I know that God delivered me in May 16th, May 16th of 2021 and he did it for me. He can do it for anyone and this morning. I wanted to speak to you about identity or identity in Christ and the Lord has just really been speaking to me a lot lately about who I am in Christ and I pray that this speaks to you today. So our identity in Christ refers to our identity in Christ refers to the new secure and honored position believers hold through faith defining them as children of God new creations and heirs rather than being

defined by past mistakes or worldly labels, which we all know that is hard to overcome because we've been called so many things. We've told ourselves so many things the enemy has attacked us since we were young with so many lies that we have to learn a new way of life and we have to learn who Jesus is and who God. Is and and the things that he thinks of us and his character I'm going to go through some scripture with you guys In corinthians 2nd corinthians 2nd corinthians 5 17 Says therefore if anyone is in christ He is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold the new has come So if we're believers we are new in christ And I know that I struggle. I still struggle with the old has passed away. Behold the new has come Because I mean I I most certainly did. Um very um early in my healing journey Because I thought that god was after my behaviors initially But he wasn't the behaviors change as we learn who we are in christ as we cultivate a relationship with him As we spend time in his word and learn who he is, like I said and then learn who we are in christ Then the behaviors come later. He's after our heart. He's after our heart. He wants to change our heart He wants to change our mind. He wants to renew our minds. He wants to um speak life into us He wants to bring those dead things back to life um and who we were created to be long before all the mess all the trauma all the um drugs all the promiscuous sex all the things that um We want to leave behind and we want to forget He calls us a child of god So for us as believers, he says but to all who did receive him who believed in his name He gave the right to become children of god and that's in john 1 12 We are god's masterpiece in ephesians 2 10 And ephesians is a good book too. It it talks about um, who we are in christ

And it's paul writing to the ephesus church just to give you a little bit of background And he wants to remind them of who they are in christ and the calling that they've been given For we are his workmanship created in christ jesus for good works which god prepared beforehand that we should walk in them And in um psalms 139, I love psalms 139 it talks about how we are fearfully and wonderfully made We are chosen and loved First peter 2 9 says but you are a chosen race a royal priesthood a holy nation a people for his own possession A people for his own possession so we no longer We are no longer slaves to sin we're no longer slaves to who we were as believers We are new in christ. We are seated with christ in heavenly places And I don't know about you, but that just does something in my heart And I know even when I started to believe these things about me Things started something just started to change in me and um, I started to walk different. I started to talk different Um, I held my head high um and Just the newness of that of being able to walk and not be Full of shame and guilt of all the things I had done or all the things that I didn't do Was just life changing for me and I pray that it will be for you, too Romans 8 1 There's no there is Romans 8 1 there's therefore now no condemnation for those who are in christ jesus And so the enemy is just waiting to speak those lies to us, right? Even when we're walking in the newness of christ, even when we learn who we are in christ He's just waiting because that's where he can attack us is in our mind, right? And we have to learn to defeat those thoughts and so how I know that it's god or the enemy as if it's Spoken to me gently right and if it's kind and if it's um, um praiseworthy and if it's honorable and um if it's

Gentle, right? And if it comes with condemnation i'm going to be thinking about the worst thing Over and over again if it's the enemy all stacey You can't do that or you can't do this or you're always going to be a drug addict You're always going to be this you're always going to be that I know that's not from god Because god doesn't think those things of me and he doesn't call the qualified. He qualifies the called and In galatians 2 20 We are dead to sin And now alive in christ, so i've been crucified with christ So all that sin christ took to the cross He suffered a horrible death for you and for me and I truly believe that if it was just you or me he still would have gone. It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me and I'm not sure of the um the verse but uh greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world and I have to repeat that to myself quite often even before coming up here and doing this I've greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world and this makes me really excited I love this we're a friend of Jesus and he says in John 15 15 no longer do I call you servants but I've called you friends and I just love knowing that um what a friend we have in Jesus and he sticks closer than a brother let me pray for you guys heavenly father god I just thank you so much lord for your word lord I thank you that it's alive and active father god I thank you that it just brings life and it breathes life lord I just pray over everyone at the sound of my voice this morning god I pray that you will give them a revelation of who they are in Christ Jesus lord I just pray god that you will begin to renew their minds lord I pray that they that you will ignite a fire within them

guys are you know i mean i've i've been down there four times my name is logan williams uh tdc numbers one four nine zero two one eight i forgot to say that i got four more numbers after that and i had a lot of homeboys when i was down there that was pimping the pin but this ain't the place to pimp the pin it's going right in the trash can if you're a guy and you write one of the one of the females here okay i'm just gonna tell you we want your mail we want to encourage you and be and walk alongside you but there's just been too much crazy and we had to make that policy it's going to be a man writing you back it's going to be a female writing you back and so uh thank you for watching i really and truly believe that god is after you if you are have clicked on this video he has left 99 he is trying to find you you you are on a tablet you are on the application that has all the spiritual stuff and you clicked on life fellowship for whatever reason and that's amazing and he knew who all was going to click on on this today he he already had it in his plan and i just love that but i'm just going to tell you if he's after you you're probably not going to get away so just go ahead and give him your yes go ahead and get all in my life was chaos 25 years of of shooting dope and selling drugs and and hitting licks and and living in hotels and going to jail and going to prison and getting out and doing it again and going to jail and going to prison and getting out and do it again some treatment centers thrown in there i mean my life was just madness until i got all the way in with him when i laid it all down my life completely changed he gave me a purpose and a calling and and Life just took off like a rocket ship. And that's what I want for you guys because at the prisons that we go to,

we can see that God is raising up an army. He's raising up an army in there. And I just feel like the end times are a little bit closer than everyone thinks. And I think, man, he's gonna use this army that he's raising up behind the wire because you guys know how to fight. You have it in you to fight. You just, sometimes we don't fight the right things, right? We're supposed to be fighting the principalities, the rulers of darkness, the enemy. And if we're not properly fighting that, we're gonna be fighting our spouses. We're gonna be fighting our friends, each other. But God put that in us, okay? We just need to be fighting the right things. You're gonna fight something. You need to be fighting darkness and the enemy and the principalities and all the things that come against us as believers. So I was reading in Acts, it's so interesting. And I don't know if you have a group of friends there, maybe a Bible study group, maybe just a group of like-minded believers that you're doing this time with, doing this walk with. But these guys back in Acts chapter one, verse 14, it says, they all met together and were continually united in prayer, along with Mary, the mother of Jesus, several other women, and the brothers of Jesus.

So it's saying they were meeting together and they were continually in prayer. They were praying as often as they could. I know it's, we hear it all the time, pray without ceasing. Like, I know that's impossible to literally be praying all the time, but we need to be praying continually. We need to not grow weary in doing these good things. We need to continually be faithful in seeking God. And then in chapter two, verse two, it says, suddenly there was a sound from heaven, like the roaring and mighty windstorm, and it filled the house that they were sitting. The Holy Spirit fell on them on the day of Pentecost. It says suddenly, and how many of y'all know we serve a God of suddenly? Like, I can tell you story after story in my walk where I'm just trudging along, I'm getting discouraged, I don't know where to turn next, and then suddenly God shows up. And it's a massive suddenly. Suddenly, I was able to just walk out of a hotel room and give away enough dope to keep me high for years. Suddenly, I was able to just lay down sexual sin. Suddenly, I'm cleaning pools for two and a half years and a church wants to hire me to run a prison ministry. Suddenly, these things can happen. But if you look at the order, I think that God suddenly is connected to our continually because it says they continually prayed

and then suddenly the Holy Spirit fell. And so I want to encourage you in your continually, whatever that is, we need to be faithful. We need to be faithful, we need to have that faith. Faith is, man, it is everything. Faith is everything. And that's something we should be praying for is that God give us a larger measure of faith. But I want you to not get discouraged. I want you to not get just ready to throw in the towel. I know some of you are in some absolutely crazy places. I know you are. Some of you are in some places where there aren't very many believers. Some of you are in places that they actually come against you because you're sitting in the day room with a Bible in front of you. But I want you to continually do these things, continually seek him because then the God of suddenly is gonna show up. And I just wanted to point that out to you. Father, we love you. We thank you for just the ability to speak to these men and women. What a blessing the tablet is. Gosh, I wish I had one when I was incarcerated all those years. But nevertheless, what a blessing. We just give you praise for that, God. We just give you, exalt your name and tell,

we just want to tell you how awesome and amazing you are. That men and women in these facilities can fill their free time with the word of God, with messages from pastors that love you, from with the chosen, with the Bible recap, with all the books that are on there, all the worship. Man, thank you, God, for that. I thank you for everyone that has clicked on this video today, God. Pray that you would just have a moment with them and just meet them right where they're at. Let them know that anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. And if any of them have not done that, it is just that simple. Right there where they're at, they can just call on your name to be saved. And God, I thank you that you just made this so simple, that you just made salvation. It's so simple, it almost doesn't make sense. But God, we know that your ways are higher than our ways and that your thoughts are higher than our thoughts. And God, we thank you for your ways and we thank you for your thoughts. We thank you for your word. We thank you for your blessings in our life. We thank you that you've called us, that you've chosen us, that you're coming after us, and that you've saved us. And God, we thank you for what Jesus did on the cross, man, that we would never, ever take that for granted,

no matter what we happen to be going through. So God, we love you, we thank you. We just invite you in to do what only you can do. And we give you all the praise and glory in Jesus' name. Amen, amen.
