I stand in the ground Holy, holy, holy He's holy Holy, holy, holy Church, we're about to write on these cards and give you an opportunity to have someone pray over you to anoint your dreams and goals for 2025 but I just want to take a few minutes to set this up but we're going to sing that one more time and I want you to get some fight in your spirit, Church because you are declaring I'm not backing down, I'm putting my stake in the ground and as you write these dreams and goals for 2025 you are declaring what God has for you in 2025 you are declaring that this territory, your family your house, your children, your marriage this is territory for Jesus to reside He is the one at the front and centre He is the one that is leading you He has full reign in this space so I want us to sing that one more time but Church, I want you to declare it I want you to get fight in your spirit because the power is in your praise and I want you to sing this out I don't just want you to sing the word but I want you to declare it I want you to prophesy I want you to prophesy over your future prophesy over your 2025

prophesy over your marriage prophesy over your mind prophesy over the things that have kept you bound I want you to prophesy and speak it out and sing it out let heaven be your praise this morning come on, sing this one more time put my stake in the ground holy, holy I am not backing down for this is holy ground put my stake in the ground holy, holy I am not backing down for this is holy ground put my stake in the ground holy, holy I am not backing down for this is holy ground put my stake in the ground holy, holy I am not backing down for this is holy ground put my stake in the ground holy, holy some of you in the back just opened your mouth and sung for the first time in this worship service and let me tell you why that's important because the power of life and death is in the tongue His word tells us that so when you sing this out you are prophesying

the miracle is in your mouth church His word tells us exactly what to do it tells us how powerful what we sing and what we speak is it's partnering with His word, it's declaring the word of God so I'm just going to take a few minutes now if you want to sit down you can, I want you to get your cards if you haven't written on it yet, now is the time to write and I want you to be bold with what you write I want you to be bold with what you write His word says no eye has seen no ear has heard neither has it entered into the hearts of man the things that He has for His people this is His word for us church and that is His promise for you so as you write these dreams and goals for 2025 I want you to make it so audacious that if it comes to pass, when it comes to pass it could only be accredited to God it could only be accredited to God because you could have never done it on your own so as you write, just a couple of thoughts I want to read a scripture to you I want to show you first just really quickly this picture this is a picture of Death Valley this is the driest place in the whole world it's the hottest place in the whole world it's called Death Valley for a reason because nothing grows there until one day that it did after some unexpected rain

and they actually called it a super bloom and I want to show you a picture of what it looked like and you can google this for yourself and I've always found this so fascinating because it just shows that environment matters The environment that you are in matters. The places that you place yourself matter. The environment that you create, how much room you give God to move in your situation, in your circumstance matters. Environment matters. And I truly believe that He is gonna breathe fresh breath into your dreams. He's gonna breathe fresh life into your dreams. And I wanna read you this scripture, Ezekiel 37. And I want us to read it together. Ezekiel is telling the vision that he had. It says, the hand of the Lord was on me and he brought me out by the spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley. It was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. How many of you have situations in your life right now and you're looking around and you feel like it is very dry? My marriage, God, feels very dry. This relationship that I keep trying to restore with my mother or my father, it just feels very dry.

Next verse. He asked me, son of man, can these bones live? I said, sovereign Lord, you alone know. Then he said to me, prophesy to these bones and say to them, dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. This is what the sovereign Lord says to these bones. I will make breath into you and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin. I will put breath in you and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord. So I prophesied and as I was commanded and as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them. Then he said to me, prophesy to the breath. Prophesy, son of man, and say to it, this is what the sovereign Lord says. Come breath from the four winds and breathe into these slain that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me and breath entered them. They came to life and stood up on their feet, a vast army. Then he said to me, son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say our bones are dried up, our hope is gone, we are cut off. Therefore prophesy and say to them, this is what the sovereign Lord says. My people, I'm gonna open your graves

and bring you up from them. I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, my people will know that I am the Lord. When I open your graves and bring you up from them, I will put my spirit in you and you will live. I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord have spoken and I have done it declares the Lord. I have done it declares the Lord. And I believe this is what God is saying to you today. He wants to revive what has been broken. He wants to revive what feels like a dry bones. Things may not look good right now, but that is the perfect opportunity for God to do a miracle. And he loves to show up in those places. And sometimes it feels like you've come to a place where you just can't do it anymore, but that's the perfect place because it's a place of surrender. His strength is made perfect in our weakness. It's a place of surrender. And I think sometimes God brings us to a place where we are required to do what his word says and speak into things, just prophesy into things. You know, whenever God asks a question in the Bible, which he does, there's many questions in the Bible, but it's not for his knowledge, it's for our development. He already knows, he's prompting us.

It's for our development to go deeper, to think deeper, to go beneath the layers. And God's prescription is very interesting. He says, speak to the bones, speak to the bones. And I think he's saying that to some of you in the room today, speak to the bones, speak to the bones. Listen, you don't speak to a valley of dry bones without a little ounce of faith. But you're not just speaking any words, you are declaring God's word, his power, his purpose. Put up verse four and five again. It says, to me, prophesy to these bones and say to them, dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. This is what the sovereign Lord says to these bones. I will make breath into you and you will come to life. Church, you need to learn how to prophesy over yourself. You need to learn how to prophesy over your situation. This is not positive thinking, this is speaking the word of the Lord. It's not naming and claiming, this is bringing what we say in alignment with what he has already said. He has already said this. You need to come into alignment with what He is saying over you. I'm reminded I had to learn to do this for myself. David encouraged himself in the Lord. I had to learn to prophesy over my own situation, and God taught me the power of words, the power of life and death into the tongue, the power of declaring Scripture. It's the sword of the Spirit. Finding His direct Scripture to combat the direct situation I was facing and declare it. Let heaven hear it. Let the enemy hear it. He can't handle the Word of God. Every place light enters, darkness has no choice but to flee.

He runs and hides when you start declaring Scripture. But you've got to know the Word to be able to declare it. Amen. That's right. One of the things I had to encourage myself in the Lord with, for many, many, many years, I had debilitating depression. It would ease for a season, and then it was back. And it was just a constant fight. And I would declare over myself Psalm 118, I shall not die but live and declare the good works of the Lord. I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. I had it up in my car. I had it up in my mirror. I'd be crying at the feet of Jesus, but I'd still be crying through tears, but still declaring His Word. I will not die. I will live. Devil, you best hear me. I will not die. I will live and declare the good works of the Lord. And I think for some of you in the room, you've got people praying for you. You've got good doctors working with you. You just need that one extra ingredient to prophesy over yourself. I declared this scripture over myself for years and years and years. And it's 2025. I'm not dead. I'm here. And I declare the good works of the Lord every single day. And I bet the devil wish he never messed with me. I want you to have a testimony where the devil wishes that he never messed with you. Because you know the power of Jesus Christ is on the inside of you. You know that you are more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ. You know that you are not a victim, but you are victorious. Because you have the victor Jesus on the inside of you. So write down your dreams and goals for 2025. Write them down. Write them down. Write them down. And I want you to listen as he did in that scripture. I want you to listen for the sound of revival. I want you to listen for the sound of revival.

Keep speaking it. Keep declaring it. Keep washing in the way. And listen for the sound of revival. 2025 is going to have a sound of revival in your life. Listen for it. Lean into it. We're about to start next Sunday our 21 days of prayer and fasting. I want to encourage you church, lean in like you have never leant in before. And yes, you're going to get clarity. Yes. Those of you who are looking for purpose, God will reveal his purpose for your life. Because you do have a purpose. He placed it in you as he knit you together in your mother's womb. That's what his word says. You have a purpose on your life. But I want you to be open over these 21 days. What God do I need to let go of? What mindsets do I need to just be open to? Maybe I actually didn't know everything I thought I knew. Maybe I'm actually not always right. I want you to be humble in your approach. I want you to be clay, moldable and malleable in the Father's safe hands. Because that is going to be your secret weapon. Be open to the whispers of heaven. What is he saying to you? Where do you need to think differently? Where do you need to do some things different? You know, we all want discipleship, but there's always an element of dying to self when it comes to discipleship. You can't have the discipleship and still be doing whatever you want. There is an element of dying to self. So I want you to be open to dying to self. Let that flesh man die. Let that spirit man rise. And that is the key to your 2025.

To making it the best year ever. So have you got your dreams and goals written on your cards? I'm going to ask our ministry team to make your way to the front. I want every single person to be prayed over. We have anointing oil, we want to anoint you. We're also then going to have communion together as a church as we close today. If you're on the dream team, I want you to also be part of this. We're going to stay till the very end. I want every dream team member to have their dreams and goals prayed over. Committed to God for 2025. 2025. Some of you in the room feel like you've lost hope. But I want to encourage you this morning. You haven't lost hope. You lost sight of hope. But hope never left because hope has a name and a face and it's Jesus Christ. So you've only lost sight of hope, but you have not lost hope. He's right here. He's here to meet with you today. And he's here to breathe on your dreams and goals for 2025. And if you are in the room, can I get my over 60 year olds to give me a little wave in the room? I just feel for you guys. I want you to dream audacious dreams. I want you to dream big. Dream big. There is so much richness in you. I want you to dream the biggest dreams you've ever dreamed in your life. I want you to write down the most audacious things. For some of you, it's time for you to write a book. It's time for you to sow into the next generation, mentor the next generation. Some of you, it's time to start a group. It's time to get out of your comfort zone. You've been living too comfortable. It's time to step out. You've got experience, you will learn some things. And it doesn't matter if you've made mistakes. I think we learn the best from our mistakes. I do personally. If I want to get the most out of someone, if I want

to learn the most from them, I ask them, what are the biggest mistakes you've made? What would you do different? So I want you to dream big. It's just beginning. What could God do with the next 30, 40 years? He could do amazing things. It's never too late to start anything. To start anything. So ministry team, would you come? And we're going to worship a little bit. You can start praying. You can start coming. For some of you, you've never stepped out of your seat at History Makers Church. Just make your way down the front. Our ministry team is going to pray over you. They're going to believe with you. They're going to anoint you. Make your way down the aisles. Make your way down the front. Can we just get some people to come down the end aisles as well. So ministry team, we can go right to the corner. So we got one, two, three, four rows right to the corner. Ministry team have a yellow lanyard on. Push your way through the crowd. Make sure you get someone to pray with you, to agree with you. Come on. I want to encourage you to lock those back doors. I want no one to leave. Just give God at the start of this year an extra 15 minutes to do what Pastor Emma said. You got to prophesy over those dry places. It doesn't look like a super bloom. It doesn't look like it's flourishing yet. But when you pray and heaven touches earth and God shows up, things change in your life. So get someone to agree with you. Justin, as they pray, would you just sing over us?
