Peace with God
What do you do when your mind won’t slow down?
In Part 1 of our new series, Peace of Mind, Pastor Eric looks at Philippians 4:6–7 and the story of Daniel to show us what God’s Word says about anxiety, prayer, and experiencing His peace in the middle of circumstances we may not understand.
Prayer gives our anxiety somewhere to go. God’s peace can guard our hearts and minds. And peace is possible even when the situation around us hasn’t changed.
We don’t have to pretend everything is okay or carry what we’re facing alone. We can bring what we’re carrying to God, guard what we allow to lead our thoughts, and practice His presence in the middle of what hasn’t changed.
Ultimately, peace isn’t found in perfect circumstances. Peace is found in a Person, and His name is Jesus. Once we have peace with God, we can begin to experience the peace of God.
