Hebrews 12:1 NIV: Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews 10:36: ""You need endurance"". Hebrews 10:36 NIV: 'You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised."" ""To be gritty is to keep putting one foot in front of the other. To be gritty is to hold fast to an interesting and purposeful goal. To be gritty is to invest day after day, week after week, year after year in challenging practice. To be gritty is to fall down seven times and get back up eight"". Moses Exodus 3:1-5, 7, 10 NIV: Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, ""I will go over and see this strange sight--why the bush does not burn up."" When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, ""Moses! ""Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground."" 7 The LORD said, ""I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. 10 So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt. Recognize That God Is Already At Work In You Refuse To Be Defined By Anyone/anything But God Hebrews 11:24-27 NIV By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh's daughter. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time. He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king's anger; he persevered because he saw him who was invisible. Impacts Others Around You Hebrews 11:28-29 NIV By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel. By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned. Here I Am
