Jewish people living in Persia at this time. They are Esther and her cousin Mordecai, who has taken Esther in to care for her as his own daughter in the wake of her parents passing. We saw God begin to position Esther and Mordecai for his purposes in two important ways. First, as the king begins to search for a new queen, we see Esther become the apple of his eye, and through a series of events that we talked about last week, become queen over all of Persia. And not only queen, but the kind of queen that the king truly loved in a door. We also see Mordecai overhear a plot by two of the king's servants to harm the king, then get credit in the king's records as the key person who discovered the plot and saved the king's life. Now the king isn't aware that Esther or Mordecai are Jewish at this point in the story, but we see God position them to be two people who have favored with the king in different ways as the story unfolds, which is where we continue our study in the Book of Esther today. Good morning, church. It's so good to be here this morning with you all. Worshiping the Lord who is majestic. He deserves all of the praise and all of the worship. This year we continue in our initiative to memorize the scriptures. In the book of Proverbs, chapter 15, verse 9, it tells us that a man plans his ways. But the Lord directs his step. This month isn't so hard like last month. So maybe we'll see who wants to come up and share the memory verse this month. And so we continue in our series on Esther called, for a time such as this. And it's interesting that the situations of the Christian life can be seen and best evidenced by the way we react to difficult times. So it seems like a lot of times we want to live the Christian life on the sidelines. And we think that maybe if we just stay on the sideline or we keep a low profile that nothing ever really happened to us. But God in his mercy brings us to critical points in our life.
Where we have to decide how it is that we're going to live especially in those difficult moments of life. Up to this point we've seen in the life of Esther and the life of Mordecai. They've kind of mixed in with the culture and they've lived a little here, a little there. They stayed in Susa the capital of Persia because they didn't want to go back to Jerusalem because rebuilding the city would be extremely difficult. But God was going to make sure that they didn't continue living life that way. And despite the fact that we've seen they weren't necessarily the most exemplary believers. - (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) - And that's what chapters three through four that we'll study today present to us. (speaks in foreign language) - Trusting in God in the midst of difficulty. (speaks in foreign language) - And so before we read our passage today, why don't you join me in prayer? (speaks in foreign language) Heavenly Father, we come before you this morning. (speaks in foreign language) - Recognizing Lord that we are weak. (speaks in foreign language) - Recognizing that oftentimes we feel like Esther and Mordecai in our Christian life. (speaks in foreign language) - Wanting a little bit of this world, but also desiring to live for your kingdom. (speaks in foreign language) - But Lord, we give you thanks
for the difficult situations that arise in our lives. (speaks in foreign language) - That push us towards a complete trust in you. (speaks in foreign language) - And so Lord, through these chapters, speak to our minds and do our hearts. (speaks in foreign language) - That if there's areas in our lives where today we have to make a decision. (speaks in foreign language) - Lord, give us the grace to do so. (speaks in foreign language) - In the name of Jesus, we pray. - Amen. - Amen. (speaks in foreign language) - The first thing we'll learn in the passage today. (speaks in foreign language) - And the first thing we'll learn today is that God does not promise that circumstances will always be in our favor, but He does promise to always be with us. (speaks in foreign language) - For some reason, this is one of the most basic principles of Christian life. (speaks in foreign language) - But it's also one of the ones that we most easily forget about. (speaks in foreign language) - And it's that when we enter into a relationship with God. (speaks in foreign language)
- We can see how God transforms our lives. (speaks in foreign language) - We see how He starts to work in our families. (speaks in foreign language) - And so we forget about. (speaks in foreign language) - That when Jesus invites us to follow Him. (speaks in foreign language) - He says that in this world, you will face affliction, but trust because I have overcome this world. (speaks in foreign language) - We forget that He said if the world persecuted me, they'll also persecute you. (speaks in foreign language) - And we forget that He said that those who live a righteous life will suffer persecution. (speaks in foreign language) - It's that God doesn't promise us a life of comfort. (speaks in foreign language) - But how many of us pursue comfort? (speaks in foreign language) - How many of us just reject any difficulty that arises in our life? (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language) - But we can see in verses one through two of chapter three, just how quickly things can change in a believer's life. (speaks in foreign language) - After these things, King Azaris
promoted Haman the egg a guy, the son of Hamada Asa, and advanced him and set his throne above all the officials who were with him. (speaks in foreign language) - And all the King servants who were at the King's Gate bowed down and paid homage to Haman for the King had so commanded concerning him, but Mordecai did not bow down or pay homage. (speaks in foreign language) - After all these things. (speaks in foreign language) - As we saw in our recap, Esther had been made queen and not just any queen, but a queen that the King adored. - And not only that, Mordecai had been recognized for saving the life of the king. - (speaking in foreign language) - And in the next chapter. - (speaking in foreign language) - He elevates an evil man. - (speaking in foreign language) - That is now against the entire people of God. - (speaking in foreign language) - From favor to hatred. - (speaking in foreign language) - But why, why is this happening? - (speaking in foreign language) - Well, first we have to understand that King Azerus is not one of the most wise kings who's ever existed.
- (speaking in foreign language) - But we've seen that even this foolish king is under the dominion of God. - (speaking in foreign language) - And he raises up a man named Haman. - (speaking in foreign language) - And pay attention that he is an agogite. - (speaking in foreign language) - And that comes from a king of the Amalekites who is named Agar. - (speaking in foreign language) - And you're gonna realize just why there's such a great rivalry between these two people. - (speaking in foreign language) - And Mordecai was of the tribe of Benjamin. - (speaking in foreign language) - And who were the Amalekites? - (speaking in foreign language) - In Exodus chapter 17. - (speaking in foreign language) - The people, the Israelites were leaving Egypt. - (speaking in foreign language) - And as they were leaving in great victory and rejoicing for their freedom, the Amalekites found them as they were leaving Egypt. - (speaking in foreign language) - And instead of helping them, they attacked them. - (speaking in foreign language) - And because of that in Deuteronomy chapter 25. - (speaking in foreign language)
- God says, "Hey, Moses, remember what the Amalekites did." - (speaking in foreign language) - And because of that, they will be destroyed because of their evil. - (speaking in foreign language) - (speaking in foreign language) - And we'll see even further in the future that God commands King Saul to do something. - (speaking in foreign language) - And that's to bring God's judgment to destroy the Amalekites. - (speaking in foreign language) - And what does King Saul do? - (speaking in foreign language) - He forgives the people of King Agar. - (speaking in foreign language) - And he brings the king. - (speaking in foreign language) - And he brings the treasures. - (speaking in foreign language) - And what is in the prophet Samuel comes to the king and says, "What is it that I hear the sheep "and the people laughing?" - (speaking in foreign language) - And instead of King Saul repenting. - (speaking in foreign language) - He says, "Oh, I brought them here for God." - (speaking in foreign language) - But the prophet Samuel says, "Hadn't God commanded you to annihilate the Amalekites?"
- (speaking in foreign language) - And that's where King Saul loses his kingship. - (speaking in foreign language) - But the half obedience of King Saul. - (speaking in foreign language) - And so this disobedience of King Saul puts the Israelites at the point of annihilation in the year 500 B.C. - (speaking in foreign language) - And so now you can see why this rivalry? - (speaking in foreign language) - And I would ask you guys this. - (speaking in foreign language) - Are we clear in the fact that difficult circumstances are a part of the Christian life? - (speaking in foreign language) - That when difficult times come, we say, "Thank you, Lord, now I know that - No, Elda. - No, we don't do that. - Man, no, you're no reaction, I see. - Well, I don't respond that way. (speaking in foreign language) - But if we truly have the correct mentality. (speaking in foreign language) - We realize that the suffering in the Christian life. (speaking in foreign language) - Our sanctifying workshops of the Holy Spirit and our lives. (speaking in foreign language)
- And when we cling to the Word of God in our lives. (speaking in foreign language) - And we don't complain or murmur about the difficult situations. (speaking in foreign language) - We start to develop Christian character that submits to the will of God. (speaking in foreign language) - Lord, I don't understand. (speaking in foreign language) - But you're in control. (speaking in foreign language) - Lord, I don't want to obey you. (speaking in foreign language) - But you are greater than my circumstances. (speaking in foreign language) - And so we stop struggling or we stop fighting against difficulties. (speaking in foreign language) - And we realize that we're not there just by coincidence. (speaking in foreign language) - But we're there for a purpose. (speaking in foreign language) - And that purpose is to transform us, to shape us more into the image of the Son of God. (speaking in foreign language) - And so look what happens with the situation between Haman and Mordecai. (speaking in foreign language) - Versus five to nine.
(speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - And when Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow down or pay homage to him, Haman was filled with fury. (speaking in foreign language) - But he disdain to lay hands on Mordecai alone so as they had made known to him the people of Mordecai, Haman sought to destroy all the Jews, the people of Mordecai, throughout the whole kingdom of Osiris. (speaking in foreign language) - In the first month, which is the month of Nissan, in the 12th year of King Osiris, they cast per, that is, they cast lots before Haman day after day, and they cast it month after month to the 12th month, which is the month of Adar. (speaking in foreign language) - Then Haman said to King Osiris, there's a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of your kingdom. Their laws are different from those of every other people and they do not keep the king's laws so that it is not to the king's prophet to tolerate them. (speaking in foreign language) - If it pleases the king, let it be decreed that they be destroyed and I will pay 10,000 talents of silver into the hands of those who have charge of the king's business that they may be put into the king's treasuries. (speaking in foreign language)
- And Mordecai says I'm not going to bow down to you because in that time, bowing to someone was a sign of worship. (speaking in foreign language) - Remember that the emperors saw themselves as gods. (speaking in foreign language) - And Mordecai says I can't do that, I can't bow down to you because I worship the one and only true god. (speaking in foreign language) - And so when Haman realizes that Mordecai is a Jew, (speaking in foreign language) - He says, oh, you want bow down to me? (speaking in foreign language) - And well then I'm gonna annihilate all the Jewish people. (speaking in foreign language) - This is not a normal conflict. (speaking in foreign language) - Imagine if people who responded that way today. (speaking in foreign language) - We have to realize church. - There is a spiritual battle going on that goes far beyond politics. (speaking in foreign language) - They're not arguing about economic disputes here. (speaking in foreign language) - They're wanting to annihilate the people that God had chosen. (speaking in foreign language) - One little important detail.
(speaking in foreign language) - What month do they say that this started to happen? (speaking in foreign language) - It's a car brand, so you won't forget it. (speaking in foreign language) - The month of Nissan. (speaking in foreign language) - That was around March or April. (speaking in foreign language) - Do you know what the Jews celebrated during that time? - La Pasqua. - Passover. (speaking in foreign language) - The freedom that they experienced from Egypt. (speaking in foreign language) - And so all the people are commanded to be killed in the month that they are celebrating the freedom from God. (speaking in foreign language) - And it's that sometimes when we find ourselves in trials today. (speaking in foreign language) - Something that's really important is to remember God's faithfulness in the past. (speaking in foreign language) - It isn't interesting that similar trials come to us today that have happened to us before. (speaking in foreign language) - And we forget about all that God has done before. (speaking in foreign language) - And one has to stop and say, (speaking in foreign language)
God hasn't provided for us in the past. (speaking in foreign language) - Mr. Mano John, Gracia, Senor. (audience laughs) (speaking in foreign language) - Are we celebrating our freedom? (speaking in foreign language) - Are we remembering God's faithfulness in the past? (speaking in foreign language) - And so why are we so worried about the future? (speaking in foreign language) - Why are we so anxious? (speaking in foreign language) - Why do we run from our problems is if God's not the one in control? (speaking in foreign language) - What did they do? (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - They use their methodology of luck that they used in those days. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - And it was, they used astrology to make a decision about how they would bring about Haman's plan and what day they would do it on. (speaking in foreign language) - And it fell in the month of Nissan. (speaking in foreign language) - And even what the evil ones,
the evil people are planning? (speaking in foreign language) - And directed by the prince of this world. (speaking in foreign language) - It's still submitted to the king of kings. (speaking in foreign language) - But pay attention to how they describe the people of God. (speaking in foreign language) - He doesn't say the name of the people. (speaking in foreign language) - Because the king trusted him. (speaking in foreign language) - He says there's a people. (speaking in foreign language) - And their customs aren't like our customs. (speaking in foreign language) - And it's not convenient for you king to have this people among your people. (speaking in foreign language) - And that's the call of the church. (speaking in foreign language) - We're not called to be sugar church. (speaking in foreign language) - We're called to be salt. (speaking in foreign language) - And I don't know, it doesn't feel so good on a cut. (speaking in foreign language) - But it heals us. (speaking in foreign language) - My salt preserves.
(speaking in foreign language) - And it's that the church should feel like a rock in the shoe of the evil person. (speaking in foreign language) - When the world says we want more casinos. (speaking in foreign language) - And more drugs and more marijuana in the city. (speaking in foreign language) - The church says no, not here. (speaking in foreign language) - When the culture wants to make it easier and easier to kill babies in their body. - Like, "Let's say no, aki no." - The church says no, not here. (speaking in foreign language) - When the culture wants more sexual liberation and to put that in the minds of children. - Like, "Let's say no." - The church says, "No." (speaking in foreign language) - When the culture wants to destroy marriage between man and a woman. - Like, "Let's say no." - The church says no. (speaking in foreign language) - And what's the culture going to do? (speaking in foreign language) - There's a people here. (speaking in foreign language) - That's not convenient to have among us.
(speaking in foreign language) - It's easier to get rid of them. (speaking in foreign language) - It's easier to put them away. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - It's easier to shut them up in that all of their messages stay within the four walls of their church and nowhere else. (speaking in foreign language) - Because for the world, it's not sufficient that we just don't bother them. (speaking in foreign language) - They don't want us to say anything. (speaking in foreign language) - It's not just that you be quiet. They want you to surrender and bow down before their ways. (speaking in foreign language) - But the church is still here. (speaking in foreign language) - And the church is still salt. (speaking in foreign language) - Look at what verse 15 says. (speaking in foreign language) - The couriers went out hurriedly by order of the king and the decree was issued in Sosa the Citadel. And the king and Haman sat down to drink, but the city of Sosa was thrown into confusion. (speaking in foreign language) - The king had given his ring to Haman
so that he could put his seal on the order of Haman and it was sent out to all 127 provinces. (speaking in foreign language) - So that means not just in Persia. (speaking in foreign language) - But even all the way to Jerusalem. (speaking in foreign language) - And why is this a spiritual battle? (speaking in foreign language) - Because there had been a promise to the Jewish people. (speaking in foreign language) - Who is it that would come from the Jewish people? (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - The savior of the world. (speaking in foreign language) - And it's worth mentioning that in the month of December we're going to celebrate the birth of our savior. (speaking in foreign language) - And so I'd encourage you to start inviting people and to get prepared for that time. (speaking in foreign language) - And if Haman had accomplished eliminating the people, the Jewish people. (speaking in foreign language) - He would have impeded the promise of God that was to bring about the salvation of the world. (speaking in foreign language) - But we know that Haman, not Haman or anyone else, can stop God from accomplishing his plans.
(speaking in foreign language) - And so what do we learn from this difficulty that we see in chapter three? (speaking in foreign language) - It's our next point. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - And it's that our faithfulness is tested during difficult times, not during easy times. (speaking in foreign language) - You know how it is that we can know what's inside of our hearts? (speaking in foreign language) - It's when things get difficult. (speaking in foreign language) - How we respond. (speaking in foreign language) - When a relationship doesn't go the way we want it. (speaking in foreign language) - When finances aren't going well. (speaking in foreign language) - When work is bad. (speaking in foreign language) - And that's when you'll know what it is that's inside each one of us. (speaking in foreign language) - When you squeeze in orange, what kind of juice you eat. (speaking in foreign language) No, (speaking in foreign language)
No, orange juice comes out of an orange. (speaking in foreign language) And when you press a believer, (speaking in foreign language) What is it that comes out? (speaking in foreign language) The character of Christ is what should come out. (speaking in foreign language) And that's why difficulties are a blessing. (speaking in foreign language) Because when we see that the character of Christ comes out. (speaking in foreign language) Or when the character of Christ isn't what comes out. (speaking in foreign language) I can see the areas of my life that need work. (speaking in foreign language) And that's why it's in that moment that our faithfulness is tested. (speaking in foreign language) In chapter four, verses nine through 11. (speaking in foreign language) It tells us that when Mordecai is in mourning. (speaking in foreign language) It says that he goes and he presents himself before the door of the king. (speaking in foreign language) And Esther realizes this. (speaking in foreign language) And so verse five says. (speaking in foreign language)
Then Esther called for Bethatch, one of the king's eunuchs who had been appointed to attend her and ordered him to go to Mordecai to learn what this was and why it was. (speaking in foreign language) Had that went out to Mordecai in the open square of the city in front of the king's gate. (speaking in foreign language) And Mordecai told him all that had happened to him and the exact sum of money that Haman had promised to pay into the king's treasuries for the destruction of the Jews. (speaking in foreign language) Mordecai also gave him a copy of the written decree issued in Sousa for their destruction that he might show it to Esther and explain it to her and command her to go to the king to beg his favor and plead with him on behalf of her people. (speaking in foreign language) And Hadatch went and told Esther what Mordecai had said. (speaking in foreign language) Interesting that Esther hadn't realized what was going on in the kingdom around her. (speaking in foreign language) And it's just so often we can just be inside our little bubble and we don't realize what's happening to all of the people and it's suffering to all of the people outside of our little bubble. (speaking in foreign language) And that's why it's an important part of being the church. (speaking in foreign language)
And that's why it's an important part of being the church. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) But not just going to the group, but having real community within your digger. (speaking in foreign language) No people, truly know them and have them know you. (speaking in foreign language) It's so easy to just live our lives ignoring all the suffering around her. (speaking in foreign language) Are you in comfort? (speaking in foreign language) Esther was in comfort, Esther was nice and calm. No one was bothering her. (speaking in foreign language) But she doesn't understand why Mordecai was so sad. (speaking in foreign language) And so she sends a eunuch to ask Mordecai what it is that's happening. (speaking in foreign language) Look at what verses 10 through 11 say of chapter four. (speaking in foreign language) Then Esther spoke to his arch and commanded him to go to Mordecai and say. (speaking in foreign language) I remember that Mordecai had asked Esther to go talk to the king. (speaking in foreign language) This is the response of Esther.
(speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) All the king's servants and the people of the king's provinces know that if any man or woman goes to the king inside the inner court without being called there is but one law to be put to death, except the one to whom the king holds out the golden scepter so that he may live. But as for me, I have not been called to come to the king these 30 days. (speaking in foreign language) What does Esther think? (speaking in foreign language) A reality about trusting God. (speaking in foreign language) And that it's easy to obey God when things are going well. (speaking in foreign language) But to live faithfully to the Lord when things are going poorly. (speaking in foreign language) That's what shows my obedience. (speaking in foreign language) And it's also teaching us another thing. (speaking in foreign language) That all obedience to God. (speaking in foreign language) Requires sacrifice. (speaking in foreign language) The law said that if anyone presented themselves before the king without having been called by the king, he would die.
(speaking in foreign language) It makes sense, right? (speaking in foreign language) Because the king had to protect himself from murder plots or from being assassinated. (speaking in foreign language) And so the payment for Esther was going to be death unless he extended his royal scepter. (speaking in foreign language) How incredible it is that we worship a God. (speaking in foreign language) A king who, we don't deserve to enter into his presence. (speaking in foreign language) But of course, our king is not foolish like, like a serus. (speaking in foreign language) He's a perfect king. (speaking in foreign language) And he invites us before his throne of grace. (speaking in foreign language) Not based on our merits. (speaking in foreign language) But on the merit of his son, Christ Jesus. (speaking in foreign language) And he extends his gold inception. (speaking in foreign language) And he forgives us our sins. (speaking in foreign language) So that we may enter before his royal throne. (speaking in foreign language)
And I would ask you, have you entered before his throne? (speaking in foreign language) Through the sacrifice of his son, Jesus. (speaking in foreign language) The invitation is open. (speaking in foreign language) Esther knows that obedience is going to cost her her life. (speaking in foreign language) But let me remind you of something. (speaking in foreign language) They call to be a follower of Christ. (speaking in foreign language) Is a call to die to ourselves. (speaking in foreign language) John Patton was a missionary to cannibalistic tribes. (speaking in foreign language) And when he was planning his trip to go do ministry to the cannibals, they said, why are you going there where you could end up being eaten by cannibals? (speaking in foreign language) And he said, I died the day that I decided to follow Christ. (speaking in foreign language) And he said, whether my body gets eaten by worms. (speaking in foreign language) Or my body is eaten by cannibals. (speaking in foreign language) One day in the resurrection, my body will be raised anyway.
(speaking in foreign language) Because the call to follow Christ, sure. (speaking in foreign language) Is a call to die to our own lives. (speaking in foreign language) And so Esther finds herself in a very difficult situation. (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - Teaches us this, God does not need us, yet he chooses to give us the opportunity to be part of his plan of salvation. (speaking in foreign language) - Look at what verses 12 through 17's day and what Mordecai says. (speaking in foreign language) - And they told Mordecai what Esther had said. (speaking in foreign language) - Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther, "Do not thank to yourself that in the king's palace, "you will escape any more than all the other Jews." (speaking in foreign language) (speaking in foreign language) - For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish and who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this? (speaking in foreign language) - Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai. (speaking in foreign language)
- Go gather all the Jews to be found in SUSA and hold a fast on my behalf and do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my young women will also fast as you do. Then I will go to the king, though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish. (speaking in foreign language) - Mordecai then went away and did everything as Esther had ordered him. (speaking in foreign language) - She says to him-- (speaking in foreign language) - Mordecai tells her, "You know whether you'll obey "God in this moment." (speaking in foreign language) - If you don't obey. (speaking in foreign language) - God still is going to give us freedom in one way or another. (speaking in foreign language) - God will save us one way or another. But don't think that you'll be saved. (speaking in foreign language) - Today there are many Christians that believe that if they don't surrender to God, no one will be bothered. (speaking in foreign language) - And they want to do the most that they can to not let anyone find out that they've surrendered their life to God.
(speaking in foreign language) - And you think you won't suffer for that? (speaking in foreign language) - And I love the response that Esther has here. (speaking in foreign language) - And if you realize, if you've noticed, we haven't seen any religious practice that the Jews would practice up to this point. (speaking in foreign language) - And it's the first time in the book that we see that they would fast. (speaking in foreign language) - And normally fasting is accompanied with prayer. (speaking in foreign language) - And what did the trial do to the Christian that was there kind of halfway in, halfway out? (speaking in foreign language) - It pushed her to surrender and to seek the Lord. (speaking in foreign language) - And that's why we always want to start every year here at fellowship in prayer and fasting. (speaking in foreign language) And some people say, no, that's something that we should do in private. (speaking in foreign language) - And so yes, if it's something that you're going to do like the Pharisees just so that leaders take notice of you, then yeah, it should be in private. (speaking in foreign language) - But there's a blessing that comes
when the people of God seek him out in prayer and in fasting together. (speaking in foreign language) - How will you respond to the situations of life that arise that are so difficult? (speaking in foreign language) - As the worship team comes forward. (speaking in foreign language) - I want to ask you this question. (speaking in foreign language) - Are you using your life, your position, your goods, everything you have, your life? - Everything God has put into your hands. - To be part of the plan of salvation that God has for humanity. (speaks in foreign language) - A salvation that's so much bigger than the physical salvation that the Jews experienced in that moment. - It's a salvation of souls for eternity. - Are you trusting in God in the midst of difficulties or are you running away from Him? (speaks in foreign language) - Are you seeking the Lord like Esther and the Jews decided to do in that moment or are you walking away from the Lord in difficulties? - Are you living with one foot in the culture and the other foot in the life of the Lord? (speaks in foreign language) (speaks in foreign language)
- Maybe God hasn't called you to die as a missionary ministering to tribes. (speaks in foreign language) - But maybe He's calling you to die in your home. (speaks in foreign language) - He's calling you to die in the way that you manage the kids that you're with all day every day. (speaks in foreign language) - He's calling you to die at your work to be faithful to the Lord in your work. (speaks in foreign language) - He's calling you to die to seeking out your own interests and to seek out the God's plan for your life. (speaks in foreign language) - He's calling you to die to that desire that you have to seek out success and fame and recognition and to live for Him. (speaks in foreign language) - He's calling you to be faithful in the midst of difficult circumstances. (speaks in foreign language) - But we know that it's hard, George. (speaks in foreign language) - But we can trust in Him because He's been faithful in the past. (speaks in foreign language) - And He will be in the future. (speaks in foreign language) - Let's stand. (speaks in foreign language)
- And let's finish by singing. [BLANK_AUDIO]
