Overcoming Inevitable Outcomes | Steve Kelly
What does it mean to read the writing on the wall of your life? Some outcomes may seem inevitable, but how we respond makes all the difference. In this message, we explore how Christians can face the realities in front of them with faith, trust in God, and the confidence that our circumstances don't have the final say.
"Can you read the writing on the wall?" I like to come up with subtitles. Like, maybe if that wasn't the title, it would be this. So my subtitle is, "Inevitable Outcomes." The subtitle would be, "Inevitable Outcomes." Have you ever been shocked by something that turned up in your life that you never saw coming? And you thought to yourself, "How'd that get here? "Do you ever done that? "I mean, for good or for bad? "Do you ever done that? "Have you ever seen someone who, something happened, "not in your life, but in someone else's life?" And they go, "I can't believe this happened to me." And you're thinking, "I can't believe you can't believe it." (audience laughing) To me, it was obvious, for good or for bad. Anybody know what we're talking about? I just want to make sure I'm in the right church now. Anybody, like, and I'm not sitting in judgment over, we're not to sit in judgment over other people in that regard. But sometimes they go, like in a marriage, I see somebody, and their marriage is falling apart. And then one of the spouses will say, "I had no idea." And I'm thinking, "Well, given the conversation "and the history and the context, "I can't believe you had no idea." Like, the writing was on the wall, amen? Makes sense.
And so, you know, a marriage break up, a health crisis, maybe you lost your job. You know, his or thought, "Show me your friends. "I don't even need to meet you. "All I need to do is meet your friends, "and I'll have some idea what your future's gonna look like "just by meeting your friends." The Bible says, "Bad company corrupts good character." Nobody is better than that Bible verse. I don't care who you are, nobody can live above that Bible verse. Bad company corrupts good character. You are not better than that verse. You are not smarter than that verse. You are not bigger than that verse. Show me your friends. I'll show you your future. Amen? Some people feel like, "Well, I can work my way around that." No, I don't think you can. And so, here we go. Proverbs six, look at verse 26, 27. "Can a man scoop fire into his lap "without his clothes being burned?" Well, let's answer the question, can he? Can you scoop fire into your lap without your clothes? I'm thinking clothes being burned, your flesh is gonna burn, amen? Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched? Well, unless you go to a running man or a burning man.
But the truth is, you can't. If you walk on hot coals, your feet are gonna be like, it's an inevitable outcome. The writing is on the wall, put it this way. It says, "Be not deceived. "God is not mocked for whatever a man sows, "that shall he also reap." Amen? You'll eat the fruit of your words. You say to your spouse, "You'll never change." You say, "I'll never get out of debt. "I'll never get married. "I can never see myself being healthy. "I can never see myself being free of this addiction." I wanna tell you, whatever you sow, you're gonna reap. Today's thoughts will be tomorrow's realities. Look at this verse, Proverbs 22, verse eight, "Whoever sows injustice reaps calamity." So you might think you're a slick, wheeler dealer and you've got these deals going on that aren't quite pure. They're a little shady and you're kinda proud of yourself because you're kinda doing things, just trading in gray. But the Bible says whoever sows injustice, calamity is gonna come your way. Amen? The writing is on the wall.
Am I talking to anybody? Okay, I wanna talk to you about a guy in the Bible. His name's Jacob. Now, Jacob, the meaning of the word Jacob of that name means schema. It actually literally means twisted one. It also infers this reference of being a manipulator, a deceiver. That's not a good name, okay? He's twisted, he just sees things differently and he was a liar in the Bible. He was a schema and he was a manipulator and his mother wasn't much better. If you read your Bible, you'll know the story. The mother said to him, come on, let's dress you up. into you getting the blessing of the dad as being the first one son, but you're not really first one son. We're just gonna make him think it's the first one saying, 'cause your dad's so old and blind and pathetic. He wouldn't know the difference. He's on his deathbed and you just pretend. Now, Jacob's a little different. I don't know how to describe Jacob to you, but let me just say, he saw the other brother. He was a man's man. He was an outdoor guy. He was the hunter. He was the guy that brought back the kill, the food, the provision.
The Bible says he was a hairy man. He smelt like the outdoors, and well, I don't know how to describe Jacob to you, but Jacob was a bit of a mummy's boy. He was in the kitchen making soup and I don't know how to describe Jacob to you, but the Bible says that Jacob had to put like animal skin on his arm because his skin was smooth. I don't know how to describe Jacob to you, but let me just say Jacob moisturizes. (congregation laughing) Okay, nothing wrong, moisturizing, by the way. My wife keeps telling me I should moisturize and I never do it. Praise the Lord. And so, you ever you got it? Okay, now, whenever you see, now Jacob was a twisted, scheming, lying, manipulating person. Okay, got it, got it? Whenever you see that, do not think to yourself, God is not fair. They're getting away with it. 'Cause whatever man so's, that's surely you'll also read. Whoever so's injustice will reap calamity. Are you hearing me now? But we can, if we're not careful, kind of feel like, well, why are they doing it? It's like, they're getting away with it, and if we're not careful, we can feel ripped off. And if we're really not careful,
you could actually talk to yourself into going down that same path, amen? And so, let me tell you, whenever there's a Jacob, there'll always be a laban in their future. Okay, so Jacob lies and manipulates to the father, getting this blessing. But Esau finds out that that's the brother that Jacob did that and Esau was gonna kill him. And Esau was a jealous brother and an angry brother. Esau had his own problems. I'm not getting into that right now. But he had to run for his life and he runs to another distant family, a long way away. And he comes to this house and it's Laban's house. And Laban, the Bible says, had two daughters. And the name of the older was Leah, every say, Leah. And the younger was Rachel, every say, Rachel. Now, remember, he's a liar, twisted, schemer, manipulator. And Leah had weak eyes. I don't know what that means when you're Leah, what a terrible thing to say about a girl. Her eyes, you haven't looked at a girl, I've put in your eyes a week. (audience laughing) Week on the eyes, I don't know what it's saying, but it's not being kind. And then it goes and she had weak eyes, but Rachel had a lovely figure and was beautiful.
What a distinction between two girls in the same family. Okay, you've already got it? Jacob was in love with who? Rachel and said, I'll work for you for seven years. This is Laban in return for your younger daughter, Rachel. Everybody see that? All right, Laban said, it's better that I give it to you than some other men. Stay here with me. So Jacob served seven years to get Rachel. But they seem like only a few days to him because of his love for her. Wow, seven years. Some of us, oh pastor, I gotta get married. It's gotta be tomorrow, I can't wait. I'm in love, seven years. There's a lesson in waiting. I'm not suggesting seven years, by the way. But I do think, please take long enough time to get to know the person, and don't just be led by your emotions. Amen? Anyway, enough, enough said. And then Jacob said to Laban, after seven years, give me my wife. My time has completed. Look what he says. I wanna make love to her. I wanna have sex. (audience laughing)
Nothing wrong with that. He was faithful, gave him his seven years. Now it's time. Give me the girl I love. Seven years just seemed like a few days. Amen? So Jacob works for Laban. Love's Rachel, but he was deceived into working seven more years. What's this? When the morning came, there was Leah. So Jacob said to Laban, what is this? Why have you deceived me? And Laban replied, oh, it's not our custom to give the younger daughter a marriage before the older one. Finish this daughter's brother week and then I'll give you the younger one also. In return, for another seven years. Or as I'm trying to tell you, be not deceived, God is not mocked. And if you see someone who's skiing, lying, manipulating all you need to know is there's a Laban somewhere in their future that's going to make them look like a novice. If you let God judge you, amen? And so I just want to say this to you. The writing was on the wall before I ever got the Laban's house. Come on, all right. And so here we go, Psalm 37. Fred, I love the King Jimmy. I love to quote King Jimmy sometimes
'cause I just love how it says it. Fred, not thyself because of evil doers. Neither be thou envious against the works of iniquity, but they soon shall be cut down like the grass and withers as the green earth. So let me get you in my Bible verse. I guess I'm just trying to say the writing's on the wall. Whatever you sow, you're going to reap. This principle will work for you or it'll work on you. Amen, in every year of your life, your words, how you take care of your physical body, how you invest into your family and your marriage. Amen. Amen. I'm just trying to get a response out of you. I know you're listening, I know you are, but some of you could be really good at playing poker. You could have a full house. I could be preaching the house down there. I would never know to look at your face. Look at Daniel 5. King Belshazzar gave a great banquet for a thousand of his nobles and he drank wine with them. And when Belshazzar was drinking his wine, he gave orders to bring in the gold and the silver goblets. Have you seen goblets? These are drinking vessels that Nebuchadnezzar, his father, by the way, it wasn't really his father. It speaks about King's being succession and this is like the predecessor, okay?
His father had taken from the temple in Jerusalem. That's the house of God. So they took goblets from God's sanctuary and this is now a godless king. And he brings it in and the Bible says, and it says for him and his wives and his concubines that they might drink for them. So they brought in the gold goblets that had been taken from the temple of God in Jerusalem and the king and the nobles and the wives and the concubines all drank for them. And they drank wine and they praised the God of gold and of silver and of bronze and of iron, wood and stone. Now, this is an absolute mockery and defiance to the God of Israel. This is like I'm bigger and more powerful than you. This is what I think of you, God. I took out of your sanctuary the goblets and now I'm toasting the gods of gold and of silver. Boy, I'm going to tell you, that's what the world's doing today. They're just defying everything of the wisdom of God. But just remember, whatever a man sows, that silly also reaps. So look what happens. Did you know that God is the first graffiti artist in all the world? Look at the Bible says, suddenly the finger of a man's hand appeared and wrote on the plaster on the wall near the lampstand in the royal palace
and the king watched the hand as it wrote. God's the first graffiti artist and he wrote on the wall and he wrote some words that were, no one was able to interpret it. All the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put up to you together again. What does that say? But they were mocking, I just want to tell you, when God wrote on the wall, the writing was already on the wall before God wrote on the wall. 'Cause look what they're doing in defiance of the God as heaven, amen? And today I want to tell you, can you read the writing on the wall of your life? 'Cause the Bible says the king was so shocked. Look, his knees went out of joint. He went pale, like as pale as you've ever seen a man and his countenance was rocked and he was shocked and he was perplexed and he was wordless. This is a strong, powerful, arrogant king who suddenly has been humbled just by the hand of God. But the writing was on the wall before the writing was on the wall. and the lions did? Does this guy not remember his successors when they threw the three Hebrew boys into the fiery furnace? These are all stories that preceded him. I mean, come on, the writing was on the wall that if you think you can go into the house of God and grab a goblet and mark and defy the God of heaven who rescued Daniel from
the lions, then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from a fiery furnace, dude, the writing's on the wall. Amen. So Daniel says to this king, I can interpret that writing. No one else could, but Daniel was brought forth. He said, let me tell you what it says. It says three kings, three things king, and the king said, I'll give you gold, I'll make you Mr. T, I'll put a gold chain around your neck, I'll give you half the kingdom, whatever you want. Please just tell me what it says. He goes, I'm going to give it to you real simple, okay? Daniel goes, number one, king, your days are numbered. That's the first thing that's saying. And the Bible says in Psalm 90 verse 12, teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. The only input that chat GBT had in this sermon was this little piece of research I did here. So this is the piece of research I did. I said to chat GBT, tell me an example of someone who qualified to win the Darwin award. You know what the Darwin award is? It's people who do really dumb things and pay the price for it. Well, there's a true story about a terrorist who mailed a bomb to someone, but in the mail. And it came back with a return to sender, and the terrorist honestly opened and blew himself up. There's chat GBT right there, okay? How many know there's a big difference between numbering your days and your days being numbered? You ever seen somebody in the job and they got a bad attitude? And they're always like, you know what I mean? It's just like, you just go, they're days are numbered. Amen. I went on my visit at somebody in hospital and this person really did have some very, very
serious weight challenges and was an overeater. And I remember visiting them as a pastor, you know, that's what you do. And he had a heart attack and he said, pastor, would you pray for me? Would you rebuke the devil? He's trying to kill me and I went, amen, I'll rebuke the devil, but we might want to rebuke the knife and fork as well. Because I can pray for you that God will heal you, but if you don't change your lifestyle, I mean the writing's on the wall. I mean, if you say pastor, can I smoke and still be a Christian and go to heaven? Yes, you'll get there before the rest of us. The writing's on the wall, your days are numbered. Can we talk? Amen. And so here's the second thing he said, King not only has your days been numbered, but the second thing is you've been weighed and you've been found wanting. The king was weighed. I want you to catch this, it's very important. Every campus, come on, lean in. The king was weighed against the weight of what he should have been carrying as king. Make sense? So God looks at you and I and he weighs us. And he weighs us against the weight, not at what someone else has called the carry, but about the responsibility he's given you. The weight you ought to carry and then he weighs you, the head of your home, the husband in your family, while you don't understand, pastor, I don't really leave my family. I let my wife do that. Well, you've been found wanting. Okay. As the head of a household, you've been weighed in your job. You'll be weighed, amen?
And you'll be weighed against the responsibility that God has given you. You've been weighed and the Bible says that he was found a lightweight. You've been found wanting. He was a show pony. He was lacking substance and you've been found wanting. How does God weigh us? I believe God weighs our character. I believe God weighs our ambitions. I believe God weighs our morals, our passions, our interests. Don't be a lightweight. Stand with convictions. Be firm in what you believe. God weighs us and he despises this on a scales. Don't be a spiritual lightweight. By the way, men, I want to encourage you to make sure you do sign up for this men's getaway. There's just God environments where God turns up and speaks to the man of our church. So I want to make sure that you are planning to be there. Amen. Okay. Number three, here's what Daniel said. Number one, your days are numbered. Number two, you've been weighed and you've been found wanting. But number three, your kingdom will now be divided. You'll be diminished in your might. Your kingdom will be given away and even to your enemy. You see my friend, the writing was on the wall before the writing was ever on the wall. Can you say amen? Have you got this? In a job, if you never get promoted, I want you to think about it and you're always late and you take longer breaks than you're supposed to and you're negative. Come on. The writing's on the wall. In finances, if you're up to your nostrils in debt and you spend more than you earn and you're not a good steward of your finances, the writing's on the wall. Amen. I want you to think about this. Look, it says in Proverbs 24, give me a lot of this verse. This is probably the verse that has most consistently challenged me out the course of my Christian life. These verses are about to read. I went, and by the way, this is Solomon, I went past the field of a lazy man, a sluggard. Everybody say sluggard. There's a word in the Bible. You don't use that word very often nowadays. You sluggard. I mean, that's not a nice word, is it? You slug. Okay. I went by the field of a sluggard, past the vineyard, every safe field, every safe vineyard. Of someone who had no sense, fawns had come up everywhere, and the ground was covered with weeds, and the stone wall was in ruins. And I, Solomon, the wise man, applied my heart to what I observed,
and I learned a lesson from what I saw. I wonder how many of us apply our heart. I wonder how many of us observe. I wonder how many of us reflect. I don't bet you, but I've learned by my own mistakes, but it's much better when you learn for someone else's. Either way, you're going to learn, right? And here is the wisest man all the will gone. I went by the field of a sluggard. I walked past the vineyard of a man who had no common sense, and he goes, and I saw this field and this garden, and weeds are everywhere, fawn nettles are everywhere, the walls are in ruins, and I looked and I observed what I saw, I reflected on it, and I learned something, and this is what he learned. You ready for it? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little phony of the hands to rest, snooze button, and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an our man. What's he saying? The writing was on the wall. Whatever you sow, you're going to reap. I learned something from this lazy man. Now can I tell you, a man's life is a garden, and I'm not talking about man in the sense of male. I'm about a person's life, is a garden, amen? And I've learned a couple of things about this. Number one, weeds, and I used to work in the Sydney Gardens, Botanic Gardens, for four years, said that what I know what I'm talking about, weeds grow quicker than trees. You don't even have to plant a weed, it's going to turn up, okay? But I've also learned at the end of the day, trees dominate. Amen? We have a lot of things that can just pop up in our lives, and I'm just asking you today to consider your life as being like that of a garden, and ask yourself, are there areas of overgrowth, thorns all over the place? Are there areas of neglect? Matter of fact, I want to encourage you to take a look at your life, and I'm encouraging you need to take a look at mine. It could be the writings on the again, Solomon, sloughfulness. There's that word slough. Slough, by the way, that's an animal. Did you know that animal really does exist? And he's really, I mean, the singular, singular, cellular fluids of a single cell protozoa move faster than a slough trying to escape from a python. I've researched this. It's fascinating. They are the lazy, they can spend one, an entire lifetime in one tree. That's how lazy they are. Have you got it? They could literally die of starvation because they're so lazy that a food is not within its grasp, rather than climb up another branch, it will die of starvation. Its greatest form of deception is, its greatest form of survival, rather, is deception because it so looks like the tree it's in that, and it gives off this odour because nothing moves, so moths and algae can physically grow in the slough's hair.
And it looks like it's a piece of the tree. A lazy man of work can blend in, look like a piece of the furniture. Oh, you don't want to be preaching on the slough. I've studied this animal. It's one ugly animal. And look at the Bible says slough on this, it casts into a deep sleep, and an idle person suffers hunger. Slough on this puts you asleep. Just stop for a minute and consider this man's life of God. Those stones didn't miraculously find themselves in a formation of a wall. He went to the effort to get those stones individually and bring them to build a wall. Are you hearing me? That vineyard didn't get their miraculously, he planted them, there was a time when he was motivated, there was a time when he did work the garden. There wouldn't be a garden there if he didn't plant the garden, but then just he lied just a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding in the hands. She gardens getting to be a real mess, huh? And little daily surrenders become a habit, and all of a sudden you're asleep. Come on, you're asleep to your marriage, you're asleep to your finances, you're asleep to your health, you're asleep in our country. Dear God, I want to tell you, and I don't care what you say, you can write me any mail you want to write. I won't read it, but I want to tell you, Islam is one of the biggest threats to America, and I'm telling you, we're asleep. Anyway, that doesn't offend you, come and see me afterwards, I'll personally offend you, because I want to tell you, we need to wake up America. Hey man, just be, oh, well, it doesn't matter, whatever the Lord's will is, thorns had come up everywhere and weeds covered the garden. This means he built the vineyard, he put in the hard work, but he got lazy. He started good, but he wasn't a good finisher. The stone walls were in ruins, it didn't fall in the ruins overnight, it was little daily surrenders. Amen? A little sleep, a little folding in the hands, and poverty will give us, not the big things. You got to catch the little foxes. Look at song of songs, catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that watch us that are in full bloom. See, you could be seduced into thinking when you look at your life and you see the vineyard in full bloom and you see the grapes and you're picturing that grape eventually one day being at your table and drinking of the fruit of the vine, and you're looking at it and you're just pleased with your life. But I want to tell you, the Bible says you've got to pay attention to little foxes that are chewing at the bottom of the vine, and they can destroy your harvest and what looks good on the surface below the surface is being eaten away with, and you've got to be willing to catch the little foxes in your marriage, in your mind,
in your heart. Come on, somebody. Luke 16, whoever is faithful and very little, is all Look what it says, "And poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an our man." And we sit there and go, "How'd that turn up in my life?" The writing was on the wall. A little sleep, a little procrastination. Tomorrow, someday I'll, we even talk about legacy. Yeah pastor, that's all good. One of these days I'll get involved in that. Come on somebody, and I'm just closing with this last verse. Again, guess who wrote this? Solomon. I love Solomon. Praise the Lord. This is Solomon on a good day. It says, "And this is the wisest man in all the world." The Bible says, "No one had the wisdom of this man on earth before or after. The only person you'd never count in that would be Jesus." Amen? But alive on the earth and the history of the world from the beginning of Adam to today, okay? No one's had the wisdom of this man. I'd love to talk to you more about that one of these days. But here he comes and he has this moment of reflection. He looks up to the sky and what would you ever wondered, what is the wisest man in all the world? What is he thinking? As he looks and looks at the sky. Wouldn't you love to get in his mind? Just for a moment, look what he says. If the clouds are full of water, they're going to pull rain on the earth. So Solomon, the wisest man in all the world, is looking up and he sees rain clouds and he goes, "It's going to rain. Wisest man in all the world taught us that." Wow. Do you know what he's saying? It's an inevitable outcome. Do you know what he's saying? Writing's on the wall. Come on, it's inescapable, undeniable, irrefutable. It's going to rain. Why? Clouds are full of water. They're rain clouds. Now he's really trying to state something by understating and overstating it at the same time. And then he goes, "Whether a tree falls to the south or to the north, in the place where it falls, watch it, wisest man, what do you have to say about that, Solomon? There it shall lie." What's he saying? He's stating the obvious. Writing's on the wall. Clouds are full of water. It's going to rain. If a tree falls, river falls, there it is. Well, why is he saying that? Look at the next verse and it tells you why. What's this? Are you ready for this? "Whoever watches the wind will not plant, whoever looks at the stock market, whoever's looking at their retirement count, whoever's looking at the NASDAQ, the FTSE 100, the Nikai Dell, whoever's looking at what your bills are, that man will not sow. It's inevitable. As much as the clouds are full of water, it's going to rain. It's as true as a man who watches the wind. He'll never sow."
Oh, it's quiet. Come on, someone. There's always a reason. There's always an excuse. There's always a distraction. And as true as that is, whoever looks at the clouds will not reap. You can't reap what you didn't sow. Amen? As you do not know the path of the wind or how the body is formed in the mother's womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the maker of all things. So what it's saying here is, it's inevitable. If you do so, you will reap. There's an upside to this message. Remember I said it'll work for you or it'll work on you. Amen? What's coming out of your mouth? Amen? Well, as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Just make sure you have the right thoughts in your heart. Amen? And your future is inevitable. God said to Joshua, "Hey, Moses is dead. Now you get up and you arise and now you lead these people into the prophecy. Moses got them here, you're going to bring them in." He said, "However, listen to me, Joshua. Be thou strong and courageous. What? He goes, "I am with you." As I was with Moses, I will be with you. Only you gotta be careful to observe everything that Moses, my servant, gave you in the Word. And if you do not turn from the right or from the left, it is inevitable. You will make your way prosperous and you will have good success. None as God didn't say, don't cop just yet. God didn't say, I'll bless you. He said, you do this. You will make your way prosperous. You will make your way successful. There it is, inevitable. Now you can clap. (audience applauds) Proverbs 22. Again, I'm doing King Jimmy. "See us thou, a man diligent in his business.
"He shall stand before kings. "He shall not stand before mere men." It's inevitable, writing's on the wall. You're good at what you do, God will promote you. It's inevitable, just remember writing's on the wall. There's an upside, there's a downside. Amen? I was with the guy this week, up in where will be, down in Georgia. After we did the way, the Wilson groundbreaking, we went down to a very, very elite golf course. And this guy was a local superintendent of one of the private golf courses here in Hampton Roads. And he got headhunted down to one of the top golf courses in the United States. He was the head, he is the head superintendent. And I said to him, I said, "My friend, "you are the example of this Bible verse. "You're so good at what you do. "Look how God's promoted you." And he goes, "Pastor, coming from you, "you've got no idea how much that means to me." I said, "You are the great example "of you being good at your job "and your reputation has gone out before you. "And God has opened a door and an opportunity for you "to know what I love about this guy. "The first thing he did was talk to his pastor, "which was Josh, and said, "I've been offered this. "And Josh, well, let's make sure
"there's a good church down there. "There's a great church. "He is planted in that church. "He and his wife, he has got a big job "and a big responsibility working 16, 18 hour days. "But let me tell you, every Sunday that man "is serving in church. "And I'm gonna tell you the writing's on the wall "of his future." (audience applauds) My last verse, I'm done. Isaiah chapter one, verse 19. Is this helping anybody today? You enjoying the word? Can you read the writing on the wall? Amen? If you are willing and obedient. Ever say willing? Oh, come on, say willing. Say willing like you're willing. Say willing! And obedient. I remember we were raising our kids. You're never done raising your kids fully, but there's a certain point when they kind of take the reins and you just trust you did everything you could. You know what I mean? But I remember when they were younger, I'd go, hey, put the trash out. And they'd always be willing.
Sam, Josh, always be, yeah, sure, dad. Half an hour later. How still smells like trash. Josh, Sam, put the trash out. Yeah, dad, they were willing. They just didn't get around to the obedient. Anybody have those sorts of rebellious, pretty kids? Praise the Lord. Oh, oh, maybe I don't know what's worse. I wonder what you think is worse. Maybe they got around to the obedience. Or maybe they were obedient, but they did it with such a filthy attitude. You always asked me, why did you even have us? And I said, oh, didn't you know we needed slaves? We had you just so you could put the trash out. It's the only reason we thought we will multiply so we don't have to do all the chores. I mean, and they're attitude. And I don't know what's worse. A lack of willingness or a lack of obedience. But God says both better. If you are willing and you're obedient, you will eat the best of the lamb. The writing's on the wall. Amen? Did you receive the word? Come on, that's a good word.
