Our God Reigns Over Pain || Victory Church [Good News #3]

What's up, what's up, Victory? How are you today? You know, I hear that song, and I wanna just continue in song, but I will not do that to you, because singing is not my natural gift. So I will, as my husband says, yes, I will spare that for your ears this morning. Listen, but man, there's so much good news for us. And hey, I just wanna take a moment and welcome you to Victory this morning. I also wanna welcome those of you who are online watching with us as well. We're so glad you're worshiping with us, because we're in this series called Good News. How many of you know there is good news to be shared? Come on, right? We might be living in a world of a little bit of chaos right now. Thank God, I think the government shutdown is finally ending, right? We had the SNAP benefits halted. You had the travel disrupted. Anybody out there deal with some of that airline mess last week? Any, okay, a few of you in this room, right? That was pretty horrible, right? But here's the thing. There is still good news to be celebrated in your life. There is still good news to be celebrated in my life

of what's to come and what God has already done, amen? So we kicked off this series a few weeks ago. My husband kicked it off, just sharing with us the good news that, listen, when we come to Christ, not only are we forgiven, not only that, but there's so much more that God has to offer us, right? The scripture tells us the old has gone and that all things become brand new and that when you and I receive the gospel, the good news, we receive a new beginning, we receive a new nature, and not only that, we enter into a new family as children of God. That's good news, right? Last week, Pastor Mo brought us a strong word. Come on now. If you didn't feel challenged after last week, you need to go back and listen to it again, right? Talking to us about how we need to be good news carriers, right? What God has done in us, God wants to do through us. We're not meant to keep all of that to ourselves, but we're meant to share it with others. We're meant to pray for others, extend kindness, and live in a posture of kindness with others because there is power in sharing our testimony. And as we opened up this series, we looked at this scripture, and I wanna read it to us this morning. It's found in Isaiah chapter 52, verse seven,

and it says this, how beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, your God reigns. And if you boil the gospel down to three words, it's this, our God reigns. Say that with me, our God reigns. God reigns over the nations. When we look at Psalm 47, verse eight, God, the Lord reigns forever. According to Psalm 146, verse 10, our God reigns. This is the ultimate good news of the gospel because when you pray the prayer to receive Christ, the scripture tells us the Holy Spirit came to dwell in you, and as you live for him, the Bible says, hey, good news, guess what? Your sins get separated as far as the east is from the west, right? It's not like he's gonna pull up with this naughty list like Santa Claus, come on, right? Listen, your sins get separated as far as the east is from the west as you become a new creation in Christ, and that's a beautiful thing. But can I tell you, church, there is so much more that God wants to reign over in our lives. There's so much more that he wants to reign over in our lives. So he deals with sin, right, and he extends us forgiveness, and we receive the washing and the cleansing and the healing power of Christ, right?

And he says on the cross, it is finished. It is finished, which implies, if nobody's ever told you that, your debt has been paid in full. Your debt has been paid in full. That's good news, right? But can I tell you what I've experienced in my own life? Sometimes there are still memories, there's still trauma, and painful things to be dealt with in the soul, but the good news is this, is that Jesus is well able to deal with it, amen? He's well able to deal with it, he's well able to heal it, but we have to invite him into that space. And so that's where we're landing today, that Jesus not only reigns over our sin, but he wants to reign over our pain. Jesus wants to reign over your pain. He wants to reign. over the parts of you that hurt the most. So listen, this is not just another sermon. Pastor Kervin said it a while ago, get ready, this is a strong word. You gotta buckle up, okay? Because today is an invitation that God is extending to you to allow him to reign over your pain. Because he wants you, yes, to experience the forgiveness of your sin and salvation, right? Knowing your eternity is secured in him, but he also wants you to receive and experience something called this, wholeness. Wholeness, wholeness that's available to you

to receive in your physical body, but also in your soul and in your mind in reigning over your pain. Places that you've ignored, places you've tried to push down, places that ache when you're quiet long enough to feel them he wants you to experience wholeness and completeness in him as he reigns over your pain, amen? So biblically, the idea of wholeness, it's connected to this Greek word called sozo. Sozo, this word that's translated to save, but it also means in the Greek, it means to heal, make whole, restore, deliver. To heal, make whole, restore, and deliver. And even when I began to just prepare for this message and ask the Lord, Lord, what do you want for your people? What do you want for your people for this weekend? And when he said that, he said sozo, summer. I want them to experience not only healing, salvation, but wholeness, restoration, and deliverance. That's what's available for us today. So when we look in the scripture in Mark chapter five, verse 34, there's a scripture with a woman who has the issue of blood. The scripture tells us she reached out to touch the hem of Jesus' garment. Jesus is like, what just happened? And power went out of me. And then he says to the woman, your faith has made you whole or healed.

That same word for sozo right there in the Greek. She wasn't just restored physically, but something happened to her internally. And everyone in the book of Romans chapter 10, verse 13, it says everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. This word sozo again. In other words, the good news of the gospel, it's not just about escaping sin or judgment. Yes, that's part of it, right? But it's about being restored to God emotionally, spiritually, relationally, and physically. There's a wholeness, there's a completeness that he wants to give us. And that's God's good news for us. He wants to restore and heal us. How many of you want that? Come on now, if you don't, I don't know if this is the place for you. But listen, I'm just being real. There's so much more that God has to offer us. But can I be honest with you? Y'all don't want me to be honest. Can I be honest with you? All right, all right. Can I tell you what I often see in people's lives? Some are still dealing with the pain of the loss of maybe a job. Some are still dealing with the pain of a divorce and maybe a spouse who mistreated them

or was unfaithful to them. Some are still dealing with the loss of a friend because of a betrayal. Some are still dealing with the shame of childhood or adult trauma. And some are still dealing with church hurt because of what that pastor did or what that leader did. And what I know, listen, what I know is sometimes grief can seem overwhelming, right? Sometimes the weight of pain can seem insurmountable. But can I tell you that as living proof, I stand before you today as God has done a work in my life in countless measures that he is well able to not only deal with my pain but your pain and heal it. And what God has done for me, he has done for you. Listen, when we get up here and we speak, we don't speak and just make up these things because it is not about that. As Mo said last week, we're to be good news carriers. And what God has done in me, I want him to see him do in other people. I was lost in sin and shame, but God rescued me from hell's flame. Can I get an amen in here? Come on, church. I was rejected, but the scripture tells me, my God said, no, my daughter, you're not. You are accepted in me, right? You are not rejected.

I suffered loss through miscarriage, right? But my God sustained me, he healed me, he restored me. And I have two boys as my testimony. How many of you have a testimony? Testimony to share right Depression anxiety had me an all-time low but lesson listen God Delivered me and he healed my mind and he healed my soul and what God did for me He can do for you because our God reigns over pain Over pain he does that but reigning over pain for me. It just didn't happen overnight It wasn't like a amen. I received Christ and then I went and then it just happened No, I had to make a choice and decision to him bite him into those hard places to invite him into those places That I've ignored and for you and I to have God reign over our pain We can't just ignore it. We can't act like things never happened or just try and get more faith. Listen I'm not dismissing faith. If you know me at all, or you've heard me preach. I am a woman of faith and I believe in faith It's important a hundred percent But there's an invitation For us to allow God To reign and our pain because he doesn't just want to heal us Yes, healing is a part but he wants to make us whole saved healed delivered restored Amen Earlier this year. I was up in the lobby Just Johnson and I were up there and I had a woman come up to me and she just approached me and she said hey Pastor, would you just pray for me about something? I'm like sure, you know, what's going on? And she had been dealing with some things with her ex-husband And so as we're sitting there and I'm listening I I'm like, yeah, I can pray for you with that But as she shares some things I'm like, oh There there is more than just pray for me in this situation with my ex-husband and what I discovered in our conversation Was that previously she had been involved in a cult now she had since repented of being involved in that cult She had accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior But she was still dealing with some things that were plaguing her and there were

Both she and her daughter were dealing with traumatic moments these nightmares on a continual basis literally being oppressed by the demonic She had a daily coughing. It wouldn't stop and vomiting and a few other things internally that were going on in her body And so in this conversation, yes, I had understood and I came out she'd received forgiveness and she loved Jesus, right? She knew there was a cleansing of her sins, but there was a deeper layer of healing deliverance Restoration and wholeness that God wanted to do in her now this woman loved Jesus. She loved him. She believed in him So why was she struggling was big is it was it because she didn't have enough faith? No That wasn't the case at all she believed God could do something she had been searching and searching and Searching on how to find that wholeness with the Lord and and allowing God to reign over her pain But she got to this point. She's like I'm tired of the trauma I'm tired of the drama and I'm ready to find wholeness in Christ healing and deliverance as well And so she knew that there was more she just didn't quite know how to get there and I wonder How many of us in this room could identify with her in some way? Maybe maybe You've experienced a level of freedom since salvation You should have right as you receive forgiveness and there's been a level of healing but maybe you're feeling stuck I've been there Maybe the trauma of painful moments Takes up more residence in your mind than you would like I've been there Maybe you're dealing with physical pain or illness and the doctors can't even figure out why or where it came from Listen, the good news is this wherever you find yourself today The good news of the gospel is this not only does Jesus reign over the earth Not only does Jesus reign over time, but he wants to reign over your pain So today we're gonna look at a story in Scripture. It is one of my husband's favorite stories and scriptures I think it's now becoming one of my most favorite stories and scriptures as well

And it's found in the book of Luke Luke chapter 17 verses 11 through 19 the story of the ten lepers Let's go there Now on his way to Jerusalem Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee as He was going into a village ten men who had leprosy met him They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice Jesus have pity on us and when he saw them, he said go show yourselves to the priest and As they went, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him, and he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, were not all 10 cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner? Then he said to him, rise and go. Your faith has made you well. Now, when Jesus says, rise and go, your faith has made you well, if you look in the original King James, that verse of well, it actually is the same, it's a scripture, and he's saying, your faith has made you whole, translated back in the Greek to that word sozo, saved, healed, made whole, restored, and delivered. And that's the heart of today's message. That's the heart of today's message. Jesus doesn't want to just heal you. He wants to make you whole.

And so there's a few things I believe God is inviting us into so that he can reign over our pain, right, and experience the wholeness in him. So here's the question, how do we allow God to reign over our pain? How do we allow God to reign over our pain? The first thing is this, is we have to recognize our need. We have to recognize our need. Now, when the 10 lepers called out to Jesus, they were desperate. They had gotten to this place of brokenness. They needed a miracle. And if you're not familiar with leprosy, yes, leprosy was an issue where you had sores on the outside of your body. It wasn't just a disease in the ancient world. It symbolized total exclusion and decay. So physically, you had sores. It affected your respiratory system, but it also affected your nerve endings. Can you imagine? And not just that, socially, you were an outcast. You were not allowed to be in the city. You couldn't be with family. You couldn't be with friends. You had to live outside of the city. And then also spiritually, because they were considered unclean, they weren't allowed to come near God's presence. They couldn't even come into church,

what we call church now, but back then, they couldn't come into God's presence. So when these men cry out, Master, Jesus, Master, have pity on us, they're not just asking God for a physical healing, they're pleading for their lives to be restored. There's an awareness of their need. There's an awareness of their need. That was the same thing with the woman with the issue of blood in Mark chapter five. There's a brokenness. In Psalm 51, Psalm chapter 51, verse 17, the Scripture says this. My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise. See, there's something that happens when we come to a place of brokenness before the Lord. Jesus tells us in the Scripture, in Psalm 147, that he comes to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. So that's not just for us to read and go, okay. What he's saying is they're healing. Wholeness is not just about on the outside, but there's something that I wanna restore on the inside because he doesn't just want you to be healed physically, but healed in your emotions and healed in your spirit, healed in your spirit. And depending on how you grew up, many Christians know that Jesus saved their soul, but they never realized Jesus wants to heal their story.

That doesn't mean that the memory goes completely away, but what I'm telling you is the sting of that moment goes away. It no longer has power over you any longer. It no longer has power over you any longer. You see, the lepers, they didn't hide their condition. They didn't pretend they were fine. How are you, brother? How are you? Blessed and highly favored, amen. Just pray for me. Dealing with the day-to-day, you know. Come on. They were honest. And when we recognize our need for God to reign over our pain, wholeness begins where pretending ends. Wholeness begins where pretending ends, and it's time for us to stop pretending. How do we allow God to reign over our pain? The first one was this, recognize our need, and the second one is this, respond in faith. Respond in faith. When we look back in the scripture, notice Jesus didn't touch them, nor were they healed instantly. He said, go show yourselves to the priest, which back then was the legal step required to be declared. clean and restored back to society. But what the scripture tells us in verse 14 was this,

is that as they went, they were cleansed. There was an obedience still moving while they were sick. It wasn't, listen, we're so used to having everything when we want and how we want. DoorDash, come on, you know, Amazon, next day delivery, sometimes same day delivery, come on, y'all. And we expect God, we're like, now, Lord, come on. We're like snapping our fingers at God. Listen, as they went, they were cleansed. There was a woman earlier this year, I have the message in my inbox and I gave a word about somebody who had a hole in their lung and that God was going to heal them, but it was gonna be over the next, I think it was like two months. She's healed, it's been done. As she went, as she went, she was healed. She wasn't like demanding it in this moment. Now, listen, God will do the miraculous in the moment. There's something about trusting in him and in his word and when he says he'll do it, it come to pass, come on. If you've gone through our forward classes, you've heard that healing is a process made up of moments. And so these moments take us putting our faith in God that even though I can't see over the mountain, even though I can't see through the storm, that I'm gonna put my faith and trust in Jesus as I go. That's why the scripture tells us in Proverbs chapter three, verses five through six, to trust in the Lord with all of our heart, not part of our heart,

all of our heart, not just this piece of my heart, but the whole thing and not to lean on my own understanding because my own understanding will get me in trouble. Come on. My own understanding will say you're not good enough. My own understanding will say God's not capable, but if I trust in him with my whole heart and in my way submit to him, the scripture says he will make my path straight. He will make your path straight, your path straight. We can't lean on our own understanding. See, wholeness isn't this man-made thing. Healing isn't man-made. We can try, but it's not. To experience that full wholeness in him, it's this ongoing, continuous heart posture that's rooted and grounded in vulnerability and dependency on Jesus. It's leaning into him, surrendering to him on a continual basis. In 1 Peter chapter five, verses six through 10, the scripture says to humble ourselves, therefore under God's mighty hand, that he may lift us up in due time, in due time, to cast all our anxiety on him because he cares for you. To be alert and of sober mind. Come on now, we're not supposed to be ignorant, but we're supposed to be. Yes, our enemy the devil, the scripture says, right?

That the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion seeking for someone to devour, but to resist the enemy. Come on, resist the enemy. Y'all be resisting other people. You be resisting your friends or those people on social media. Come on now, but can you resist the devil? Come on, get thee behind me, Satan. Now, don't be looking at a person saying that, but I'm saying, some of y'all be on social like get thee behind me. Come on, listen, the enemy is the enemy and he tries to take you out, but here's the thing. We are to stand firm in our faith because as a family, listen, the scripture says, because as the family of believers, right? As a family of believers throughout the world, they're going through the same kind of sufferings. Sometimes we're like, oh, I just, poor me, I've got this all going on. Family of believers is going through the same sort of sufferings. Come on, right? But the same sort of things, but the God of all grace who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ after you have suffered a little while, it says, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast. That is your promise. That is my promise, that God will make us strong,

firm, and steadfast. Come on, that's good news, church. That's good news. And I wonder what it would look like if we would go before the Lord and process our pain with him first. Instead of our besties, our bros, putting it on social media to float out there, come on now, what would it look like if we processed our pain with God first and allowed him to reign over our pain? See, healing requires humility, wholeness. requires surrender. And some of us trust God with our eternity, but not our emotions. And in order for God to reign over your pain, what I have found is this, is that the depth of your vulnerability will shape your soul's stability. But the promise is this, listen, the enemy might come around, he's gonna do that. He's gonna do that, right? But as you stand firm in your faith, respond in faith, God will restore you. He'll make you strong, firm, and steadfast. Amen? Third thing is this, how do we allow God to reign over our pain? We're gonna return in gratitude. We're gonna return in gratitude.

When we go back to Luke in chapter 17, 15 through 19, I wanna read this part again. Says one of them, when he saw he was healed, came back praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus' feet, and he thanked him as he was a Samaritan, which that's a whole nother thing. And Jesus asked, we're not all 10 cleansed, where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner? And then he said to him, rise and go, your faith has made you well. That same word, well, meaning whole, in the Greek, sozo, saved, healed, deliver, made whole. See, there's something to be said here. Nine were healed, but only one came back. And what I need you to notice in this scripture, this is a pivot point in the scripture, because all 10 experienced healing, but only one heard the words, your faith has made you whole. That word, sozo. Because not only was he now delivered from the physical pain and all of that and the internal things that had been going on in his body, there was a restoration internally for his soul as he was delivered from the anguish, the being an outcast, the rejection that he had suffered for so long.

I wanna be honest with you. What I tend to see, I will tell you, thank you for that, thank you for your permission. I appreciate that, because listen, I was gonna say, church, can I tell you something, and earlier, y'all didn't respond, so I was like, I don't know if I can ask you. But listen, I'll tell you, Stephen Johnson and I were having this conversation the other day, was that many times what we see in the church is because of the cross, yes, we would say nine out of 10 Christians are healed from their past, washed, cleansed, and forgiven, they have received that salvation. But I feel like this is a great representation to show us that many times, only one is made whole. Only one continues to come back to the feet of Jesus. Only one continues to come back and not have just an expectation, but to honor and give praise. Now listen, I'm not saying that the nine aren't saved and they didn't walk away, please don't call me a heretic and say that thing, that's not what I'm saying. They received healing, they were made whole. They received healing, they weren't made whole. But what I'm trying to say is that there's something about the one who comes back to the feet of Jesus, right? And there's something about the one for you and for me that when we come back to Jesus at his feet, we offer him our pain, we offer him our shame,

we lay the guilt before him, and we allow him to deal with our emotions that he can make us whole. Healing, restoration, deliverance, and salvation. I've seen people, can I tell you, I have seen people weighed down by guilt and shame because of the sins that they've committed get delivered and restored back to Jesus as they came before him, admitting those sins, handing it over to Jesus, being honest with him, no longer hiding it from him as if he didn't know, right? But giving it to him and a peace come upon them and their countenance completely changed. There was no longer a hardness but a softness because that is what God can do if you allow him to reign over your pain. Amen. I've seen people who were so vulnerable and raw before the Lord sharing their emotions with God that they've never shared with anybody else. The anxiety and even the debilitation of like, I don't even know if I can even say this because God's gonna probably strike me dead. Literally, I've had somebody say that to me. But when they confess, when they repent, When they process the pain and they hand it over to Jesus, God, I hand this over to you. I don't want it to let it weigh me down anymore. And they confess it. There's a healing that happens in the moment. There's a forgiveness that happens in the moment.

There's a wholeness that happens in the moment. And there's a deliverance that happens in the moment. And what I've seen happen is joy returned to their soul as if they were a child again. Listen, there are people who've gone through the fire but they don't smell like the smoke. But it doesn't mean they haven't gone through the fire. They did, but they processed their pain and they went to Jesus. And in order for God to reign over your pain, pain cannot remain on the throne of your life. But you also can't ignore the pain of your life. At some point, you have to stop letting this be your idol and understand and take hold of the scripture that at the name of Jesus, every knee must bow on heaven and on earth and under the earth. Come on, church. Because whether it's deliverance, healing, being restored, God wants to reign over your pain. And when you respond to him, here's what I'm telling you happens. It repositions Jesus on the throne when you give that pain. It repositions your pain under his authority. It repositions your heart into openness and it repositions your perspective into faith. Wholeness always includes gratitude and intimacy with Jesus, but not just receiving from him, but returning to him on a continual basis. It's not a one and done. He has so much more he wants to bless you with,

so much more that he wants to give to you. How do we allow God to reign over our pain? The fourth thing is this, is we're gonna remain in him. We're gonna remain in him. Allowing God to reign over our pain means we're going to reign in, we're gonna allow him, we're gonna have him, we're gonna remain in him, right? We're gonna remain in him because wholeness is not a one-time event. Wholeness is not a one-time event, right? It's the fruit of this continual relationship with him of restoration and healing. Listen, you don't arrive until you meet Jesus face-to-face. And listen, you can read all the self-help books out there that you want to do, but I'm telling you right now, nothing more will heal you than coming to the feet of Jesus on a continual basis and returning to him frequently. Returning to him frequently. John 10, 10 says the thief doesn't come but to steal, kill, and destroy, but the Bible says, Jesus says, I have come that they may have life and that they might have it abundantly. Jesus's desire is that you would have a life of abundance in him, and post-salvation, he is not done with you, he's not done with me. He's still transforming us. This is why Paul urges us in Romans chapter 12,

verses one through two, he says, therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your body as a living sacrifice, holy. Holy. Come on, y'all. Holy and pleasing to God, this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. That means don't follow what the world's telling you to do, but be transformed by God's word. Read God's word to apply to your life. Read God's word to apply to your circumstances. Read God's word to take to your pain. Come on, come on, guys. Because then, it says, then you'll be able to test and approve what God's will is, his good, pleasing, and perfect will. And let me just say this right here, because I just felt like the Lord says this. Listen, the Bible doesn't say that we will not ever go through pain, that we won't ever deal with any issues of life, so I need you to understand that, because you're like, well, where's the goodness? God is good, but sometimes, you gotta go through the storm to see what he has for you on the other side.

Renewal happens in the mind, and if we're going to allow God to reign over our pain and remain in him, it begins by allowing Jesus to transform our mind, renew it, and also our soul, also our soul. Second Corinthians 10, four through five says this. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. That means when you're having those negative thoughts appear to you, it's not about what did I read online, what did this person tell me to do, it's I reject them. that thought in the name of Jesus. And I tell you to submit to Jesus Christ because I am the head and not the tail. My God shall supply all of my needs according to his riches and glory that are found in Christ Jesus. That I am a son of God. I am a daughter of God accepted by him. Come on now. You take the thoughts captive and you say no. Submit to the obedience of Christ. That is how we process through pain. We've gotta go to his feet, say what's negative,

and then apply God's truth over that pain. But can I be honest with you? I'm gonna be honest with you. Respectfully what I have seen in the Capital C Church is that there's a tribe that says, well just believe harder, worship louder, you need to have more faith and then you won't hurt like that or you won't deal with those strongholds or issues. Now that is a part, yes that's a part to play. But here, can I tell you that? And people mean well you might be one of those person. Don't be looking around if you got somebody next to you like that, right? But can I caution you? When you tell somebody that, you're telling them not to deal with the emotion of their hurt. And you're effectually trying to limit them sharing their emotion and their pain with God. God wants to deal with the pain. That's why he comes to heal the broken hearted, right? Don't try and stunt somebody else in their healing and wholeness because you think they just need to have more faith. That might be part of it. But sometimes it's going back to the feet of Jesus. God here, I can't carry this anymore. I can't carry this trauma. I can't carry the weight.

Little trauma, big trauma, it doesn't matter. God is not all about like well this isn't big enough. Listen, all of it, going back to him, dethroning the victim mindset off your life. Dethroning, dethroning all of these things that would try and take his place and saying I submit to you God. And God I thank you that you can reign over my pain. There's something about we have to take our thoughts captive, submit them to the obedience of Christ. Because here's what I'll tell you is that our degree of wholeness is tied to our degree of openness. Our degree of wholeness is tied to our degree of openness. You should have a few people you can share with but you need to make sure that they can celebrate with you and lift your arms up as well like Aaron and her did with Moses. Don't be just sharing with somebody who's gonna wallow in your pain. Yes, somebody needs to be able to stand there and be with you but then they need to be able, we got you sis, we got you bro. Come on, let's fix our eyes on Jesus and let's go together before the Lord so you can process this pain. Process that pain. Earlier I shared the story about the woman who I met in the lobby. And she'd been involved in the cult.

She had professed Jesus now as Savior but she was still dealing with all of these issues. The pain, physically on her body, coughing, vomiting. She also just had shared with me as well like actually the church she grew up in did a lot of syncretism so there was tradition. It was a Christian church. They believed in Jesus but then they did weird rituals as well. So I was like, eh, it's not really Christian. That's like syncretism. Anyway, that's another part. But man, I wish she could tell you her testimony herself. We'll get that testimony for you. The coughing, the vomiting, the nightmares, all those things. And I said, hey, let's do this. I'll pray for you about the situation with your ex-husband but then I began to ask her a question. I said, I believe God has more for you and there's some pain that he wants you to process and that he wants to bring wholeness to you so-so. Healing, restoration, deliverance. Do you want that? And she was like, absolutely. So we set up a time and she came in to meet with me and a few of my prayer ministers with me in our office and wow, we began praying with her and she just began the process of repentance, renouncing, coming out of agreement with lies she believed

and things that she had done that were unbiblical and extending forgiveness to her ex-husband even though he did some pretty awful things. Saying, God, I don't wanna carry the pain of what he did with me any longer and other people who've hurt me. And as she began to do these things, something shifted in the room and you felt God's presence come down and you felt healing and restoration and deliverance happen. She recognized her need for wholeness and healing. She responded in a faith and as she went, She was healed Stomach pain gone vomiting gone coughing gone Nightmares gone and it didn't just affect her there was Affected her daughter as well. So not only is she living in the fruit of it now Her daughter is and so is her mother all because she stopped and she said our God Reigns in our God reigns over pain and invited him into that process. I Love it. I messaged her and I said, hey just so you know, I'm sharing part of your story this weekend And she's oh that's summer and she's like she's like on a weekly basis me and she named her daughter She's like we're constantly saying God is so good. God is so good He's done this and he continues to do things in our life. She's continually coming back to the feet of Jesus in gratefulness and Gratefulness and she said oh and I forgot to tell you I had had the cyst on my face And it was oozing things for like five years and after I received my deliverance and my healing and restoration It was gone and all that's there is this black spot on me? It's a remembrance of what God has done in her life the healing power of Jesus. Amen Amen, amen

God is not done with you. God is not done with me and his desire is to give us so-so that healing salvation freedom Deliverance to reign over our pain So maybe you are like the one Praise God if you are the one leper who went back and you've done that right you process through pain and trauma you found wholeness That but like just like the woman I just shared about in scripture But I mean at the woman I just shared about in the testimony praise God. I celebrate with you or maybe Maybe you find yourself as the one of nine who's received salvation and forgiveness And you've had a level of healing But maybe you feel stuck Maybe you're like I just there's so much more restoration and wholeness. I know that God wants to do in my life Today there's an invitation to you Today the altar is open to you. In fact, I want everybody to go ahead and stand to their feet Because here's the question as we close it's this Where do you find yourself in the story? Where do you find yourself in the story? Because what I heard the Lord say is that many of you need to return Back and just in gratefulness and thankfulness for what God has done and in that you're gonna receive wholeness But some of you some of you need to surrender pain and begin to trust in him With the losses that you've experienced Some of you need to extend forgiveness to others and as you extend that forgiveness to others you're gonna feel a restoration Back to the Lord because you've held on to unforgiveness and bitterness wherever you are today God reigns over pain and over all the earth and he wants to reign over your pain if you allow him So listen as I begin to pray about this time the Lord said summer I don't want you to go into the quick prayer first Not that it's always a quick prayer But he said I want people to get out of their seats and just like the one who returned as a sign of returning Back to me. I want you to get I want you to come down and return back to the altar as a sign that you are Returning back to the Lord. You're returning back to him Praise the Lord because the faithfulness and obedience when you take a step out listen last night

There was a woman up who was up in the stadium seating. She was dealing with tingling. She was dealing with gut issues She had acid reflux and she said as I got out and as I began to come down She said it completely disappeared and left her body She was healed some of you need to get out and you need to move you keep thinking. Oh, I'm on I'll be fine Listen, this is a moment of demarcation in the spirit and also in your soul and in your physical body God is saying will you come to the altar? Will you come to the altar? Will you show me that you trust me? Will you show me that you trust me? Will you show me that you trust me? Will you allow me to reign over your pain? Will you will you let go today in a sign of surrender and he's here and he's saying my name is Yahweh And I reign my name is Yahweh and I reign my name is Yahweh and I reign and I want to reign over your pain I want to reign over your pain. I want to reign over your pain And so God I thank you for every person who's coming now and things are being broken right now in the spirit generational sin Curses are being broken right now in the spirit. I heard the Lord Some of you, you expect accidents to happen, you expect accidents to happen, and someone declared a curse over you, that accidents will follow you all the days of your life, but the Lord says, no, in the name of Jesus, no, in the name of Jesus, I declare every curse broken right now, in the name of Jesus. Some of you have dealt with things in your mind, but the Lord says, no, migraines are disappearing right now, in the name of Jesus, because where the enemy was enthroned right now, he is being dismantled, dismantled, dismantled, dismantled, dismantled, addictions being broken right now, in the name of Jesus. Father, I thank you for your faith that is setting the captive free, I thank you for your healing that is restoring wholeness that is happening right now, in the name of Jesus Christ. Oh, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, God is about to do a work, He's already doing it for those that are down here, He's already doing it for those that are down here. There's a healing that is happening, there's a restoration that is happening, there's a deliverance that is happening, and we're gonna go. Yeah, come on, girl, go ahead, you worship, you worship, we're gonna go into a song of worship, and then we're gonna pray, because when we come before Him in gratitude and in thankfulness, there's something that happens. Restoration is about to happen, so we're gonna worship, and as we worship, give Him gratitude. And I declare right now in the name of Jesus, as these curses are broken, Lord, I thank You for healing, that's about to happen. Restoration, let us worship, come on, church.
