I'm telling you, God has more for you. He has more for you today. And I know many of you may be here for the very first time and I wanna tell you, welcome home. You were meant to be here. And I believe God has such a specific word to speak to you if it's your first time today. And I wanna encourage you. I know some people might be here, you're like, I showed up for my grandma, I showed up for my wife, I showed up for my brother, but I don't even believe in all this. And I wanna really challenge you today. If that's you, I just want you to pray one simple prayer. God, if you're real, reveal yourself to me. What's the harm in a prayer like that? And I believe that he will reveal himself to you today. And I'm so excited about what God has for you. Come on, give somebody a high five, a handshake around you. Ha ha ha, it's gonna be a good day. Who's glad to be in church on Revival Sunday? I wanna welcome all the Liberty family at every campus and location, all of our many guests, and those of you who are joining online. This is a day we have been praying for since the beginning of this year. We prayed 21 days of prayer. We thought we would end it with a one-day revival because this year we've been praying for a culture of revival. God wants more of us, and we want more of him, amen? And so God sent two Sundays back to back of snow. I'm like, where in Virginia are we living? That never happens, right? And so we were completely shut down, but I firmly believe in my heart

that God extended it seven weeks so someone today will be saved and baptized who wasn't even here in January. How many of you believe it? And if that's you, I want you to tell your campus pastor today and you let us know. I've already met someone from Pennsylvania who came in. They were baptized in 2023 here, and they brought their nephew to be baptized. Come on, put your hands together and praise God. So wherever you're joining us from, we're glad that you're here, and I want you to know this is the day and time we're praying for a culture of revival. Listen, we've been in revival. This is not gonna end today. God's gonna do something supernatural today that we believe's gonna carry over all throughout the year, and I want you to know, I don't wanna take one more second of our guest speaker's time to preach. We have a culture of honor. We honor those to whom honor is due, and finally, he's here after seven weeks of praying and waiting. We've got sunshine, we've got springtime weather. and give it up for the man of God, Pastor Grant, Ms. Tammy, the entire Etheridge family. Wow, good morning. You can be seated. I appreciate you so much coming out. Last time, we didn't have, we had snow last time. We don't have snow. We lost the snow and we lost an hour of sleep, amen? Anyway, it is so good to be with you. I was here last year for a men's conference, enjoyed being with the guys. A lot prettier today to have the ladies with us. Thank y'all for being here, and I just love what you guys are doing. I love Pastor Grant, his passion for the gospel. This season of my life, we've kinda instituted something we're calling E8 Square. What that means is for generations to come, we wanna empty hell and we wanna enlarge heaven. I believe the only thing better than going to heaven is taking somebody with you, and there's a lot of stuff that's going on in our society. There's a lot of stuff going on inside of our country, and a lot of things that people have put their hope in has been snatched away from us. That's the reason I have as my first screen slide Proverbs 13, 12. I want you to hear what this proverb says. It says, hope deferred makes the heart sick. That term deferred literally means to snatch away.

Think about it in our society, how many things have been snatched away from people that have put their hope and trust in. It's a perilous pursuit, a temporal pleasure that has been snatched away. Everything from education to government, even into some religious circles, things have been taken away from them. And it says, hope deferred makes the heart sick. It makes you wonder what's going on out there. But it goes on to say, but when the desire comes to fruition, it is the tree of life. It brings the fulfillment of what you've been searching for. I'm praying today it's going to become crystal clear inside your life, because every time I stand on a platform like this and I have the trust from a man of God, I know I'm speaking to people who have got three questions that are running through their mind. The first question you've got to be asking is why is there so much evil inside this world? I mean, all you have to do is look around. and you see the things on TV or the things in our neighborhood, of course, all the scandals that are going on. It makes sense for every one of us to kind of step back and go, why is there so much wrong evil going on inside this world? The second question I know people are asking is, what is the meaning of life?

Think about it. We've been trained and conditioned to think about, is it getting good grades? Is it to finally graduate? Is it to find the right person, get the right job, retire in the right community? There's got to be something more to this than just constantly being on the hamster wheel of life. What is the meaning of life? And the third question, and I believe this is a direct result of the things that we see that are going on in the Middle East, but right here in our own nation, when lives are taken so randomly and now treated so frivolously, I know people in this room and online are asking, what's going to happen to me when I die? What happens to this thing? Is this all there is? And so, if you're here this morning going, I've got some of those questions, I'm praying you're going to find the answers to them in our short time together. Now, I really don't have a lot of wisdom for you. I was born and raised in Alabama, so it probably surprises you that I have shoes on, amen? Okay, anyway, but I know that I have to go to God's Word to find the authority on my life. Every one of us has an authority in our life. It may not be the Bible for you, it may be your emotions, and if you're living life by just an emotional up or down, you know what I've noticed about emotions? Let me prove it to you. How many of you ever felt good in your day? Let me see, if you've ever felt good. Now, put your hands, how many of you ever felt bad? Let me see those. How many of you have felt good and bad in the same day? Let me see what I'm talking about. So, there's got to be something more than just emotions. I have placed my life under the authority of God's Word, and in God's Word, I read about

a man named Paul. Now, Paul, when we first hear about him, is not called Paul, his name is Saul. Saul of Tarsus, and Saul of Tarsus didn't like the church. He wanted to persecute the church. He didn't have time for the church, and that may be some who are listening, or in here this morning, maybe you grew up anti-church, but then he was going to a place called Damascus. He was going there, I'll tell you, he was going there to stomp out Christianity, and on the road to Damascus, something happened to him. He met Jesus. He didn't meet someone who knew Jesus, he didn't get more information about Jesus. He met Jesus, and when Jesus entered inside of his life, listen to this, Jesus became so much more than just an addition to his life. Jesus became the transformation of his life, and all of a sudden, this guy named Saul, now being called Paul, became the greatest church builder we have ever seen. God used him wherever he went, and through the life of Paul, I think if we're asking those three questions, we can find answers through his life, and what he says in scripture. All written by the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Spirit uses different men, and Paul wrote the majority of the books of the New Testament. So many different books were penned by this man named Paul. I want to share with you three things I think Paul would share with us today. First of all, he understood that Jesus could cleanse us from all of our stuff we've done wrong. Now, let me explain this to you. I know there's one thing we never like to admit. There's one thing we never like to discuss, but the fact of the matter is, we've all done something wrong. The Bible calls that sin. The Bible says, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. If you don't believe me, I'm going to ask you a question. If you've ever told a lie in your entire life, not just this morning, we lost an hour of

sleep, okay? But if you've ever told a lie in your entire life, would you just raise your hand right now? Keep it up. Keep it up. Keep it up. Now, would you look around the room right now? Do you see all the liars that are here this morning? Do you see that? Now, by the way, for the few of you who did not raise your hand. You are in church. Doesn't that seem weird to you? How is it that every one of us, doesn't matter where we grew up, where we came from, we're in this room together, and every one of us has done something wrong. How does that happen? You have to go all the way back to the Garden of Eden. And here's the simplest illustration that's going to explain to you. Why is there so much evil in this world? You go back to the Garden of Eden, and the woman, Eve, was deceived. But Adam, the man, deliberately disobeyed. And from that moment, sin has flown through the veins of every man, every woman, every boy, every girl. We're sinners before a holy God. Now, I am what you call a G-Daddy now. I am a granddad. I wanted my name to be called Mixmaster Scotty D., but that wasn't gonna fly. So my wife, whose name is Tara, she's called Sweet T.

I am G-Daddy. We have two grandsons, and I'm telling you, they're incredible children. And you know, I want you to understand, I love kids. As grandparents, don't you love, there is nothing better, the only thing better than seeing my grandkids come is three hours later, seeing them go. It takes three days of my life in three hours. In fact, it's a sin nature. They're great kids, but they have sin nature. I've been preaching since I was 15. I had a sermon entitled, 10 Surefire Ways to Raise Godly Kids. Had no business preaching that message. I was single at the time. After we had Hunter and Hope, I still preach the sermon, but I changed it to three suggestions that may or may not work. You know what I'm saying? The difference between theory and reality. Let's talk about reality. The reality is every one of us inside this room know we've done something wrong. And I can't blame society. And if you're sitting there going, man, you're talking about, I'm in this situation because some old boy named Adam,

none of us can blame Adam. You know why? Because we've raised our hands. Every one of us has chosen to do something wrong. And as much as I want to stand here this morning and talk about a God who loves you, and I'm gonna talk about that, and a God who forgives you, he is also a holy God. And he cannot be in the presence of sin. And it's not dealing with the attributes of God like it's some type of buffet. And I go, I want his love and I want his mercy, but that holiness, I wanna leave that on the plate. You see, the Bible says, it says he is holy, holy, holy. So because of his holiness, I can't come into his presence. But here is the gospel message. When I could not come to him, he came to us. And for 33 years, Jesus walked among us and he never once said, pay me. He never said, thank me. You know what he said? Follow me. He knew his mission on this planet. He went to the cross for you and for me. And if he just died for us, I'd say that's a good man, but I'd never call you to follow him. There's been a lot of good men

that have given their lives for others. But you see what the story goes on to say is when they tore his body off the cross and placed it inside of a borrowed tomb. On the third day, the stone was rolled away, not to let Jesus out. He was not crimped up inside that tomb wondering, man, is anybody gonna forget about me? The stone was rolled away so that you and I can go in and find that he who went in is no longer in, he's out. He's ascended to the father and one day he's promised to come back and take us home to heaven. Now, listen, you may be sitting there going, Scott, that's a whole mouthful of something. Well, I'm here to answer the question, why is there so much evil in this world? It's because we live in a fallen creation. God is still in control. God is still, he's not mad, God is still in control, but because we live in a fallen creation, stuff happens. But I'm here to tell you today, God loves you. In fact, listen to what Paul says in Romans 5a. Says, but God demonstrated his own love towards us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for, listen to the next word, us. Not them, us. We sometimes like to get together and talk about them. I am them. It is us.

Every one of us inside this room, why is there so much evil in this world? It's because God, it's because the fallen creation, but God loves us. But not only does God love us, he can cleanse us. Listen to what the Bible says in 1 John 1, 9. If we confess our sins, God is faithful. That means he's there. God is just, that means he can do it. He can forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The word cleanse means to literally pick up and throw away. Do you remember when you were a child and you had your Etch-A-Sketch board? How many of you had an Etch-A-Sketch board? Y'all remember that? And whenever you drew the little pencil sketch and you messed up, what did you do with that? You shook it. And when you shook it, what happened to that slate? Here's my story to you. When you come to Jesus. Jesus this morning, no matter what you've done, doesn't matter how long you've been there, doesn't matter how bad you've been, when you come to Jesus because of what he did on the cross, he has the power not only to forgive you, he not only forgives you, he cleanses you from everything you've done wrong. The second question, what is the meaning of life?

I understand you're sitting here going, Scott, everybody has a different nuance to that. What is the meaning of life? See, not only can he cleanse us, he changes us. Listen to what Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5, 17. Therefore, now when I was growing up, pastor would always say, when you find a therefore, you gotta figure out what is therefore. So in Paul's life, what he has told us this morning about his testimony, he declares, if any man be in Christ, you're a new creation. Old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. Here's what I'm telling you this morning. When you come to Jesus, you don't turn over a new leaf, you become a new tree. Everything about you seems to change. And I know there's a lot of people out there that are trying to treat the symptoms. I've asked a friend of mine, Brian, Brian, would you kind of throw me that little ball here? I know you're a college pitcher, so I'm gonna ask you to be very kind to me. All right, here we go. Does anyone know what this is? A lacrosse ball. But it's also a middle-aged man's best friend because I have got some herniated disc in my back. And you know what, I went to a therapist and he said, I want you to get a lacrosse ball

and I put it on the wall. And I'm probably stealing this guy's trade secret. Don't tell him, I told you. But anyway, he said, if you'll put it on the muscle that's aching and you put it on that pressure point, it's gonna relieve all that pressure. Listen, it works. When I lean up against the wall, that muscle seems to release and man, I start having, because here's what I've realized about a herniated disc. The injury is in the back of my neck, but all the pain seems to show up in my left arm. You're saying, Scott, where are you going with this? In life, there's a lot of things out there that's gonna try to treat your symptoms. Your symptom is, man, I feel lonely. I feel discouraged. I'm depressed. I feel anxious. And all of a sudden you got some things that are gonna really help you with your symptoms. And that's the reason people fall into addictions or wild relationships or anything they can because they have pain and they're trying to treat the symptom. But here's what I've realized. I can treat the symptom all day long, but I'm not gonna get well until I go for a cure for my illness. Jesus is who you've been searching for.

Jesus is the one that can cleanse you of everything you've ever done wrong, but he can change you and give you an understanding of what is the meaning of life. It is to know him. It is not, God is not some type of cosmic killjoy where he's up there trying to tell you everything you've done wrong is gonna condemn you. God's saying, what I've got is a better life for you. If I could borrow from the Westminster Confession, it is to know God and enjoy him forever. It's not only coming to know him, it is getting into a life-giving relationship with him where you experience what it means to have life. Jesus didn't die on the cross for you to survive. Jesus died on the cross for you to have life. And you can go to any doctor in Virginia and he or she's gonna try to add a whole lot of years to your life. But it's not until you come to Jesus this morning that he adds a whole lot of life to your years, amen? Brian, I'm putting that back to you. Oh, you were also a good infilter. Okay, so why is there so much evil? What is the meaning of life? What's gonna happen to me when I die? Listen to how Paul puts it. Philippians 121, for to me to live is Christ, to die is gain. Think about it.

For a lot of people, this is all there is. For me and those of us in this room who know Christ, this is the worst it will ever be. For me to live is Christ, but to die is gain. Not only does he change us for here, he changes us for eternity. There was a magazine article that I read that had a tombstone in London, England. It had as its epitaph engraved in the stone, Paul's now stranger as you pass by. As you are alive, so once was I. As I am now, so you will be. Prepare for death and follow me. Written underneath that epitaph in a black sharpie marker were these words. Follow you is not my intent until I know which way you went. We're dealing with eternity here. This is not all, life is not a revolving door, it's not a practice for an upcoming performance. The Bible says it is appointed man once to die and then comes the judgment. And Paul said, to me to live is Christ, that means while I'm here it's all about Jesus, but if I die, that's all gain. Last year there was so much death around me, I lost my nephew, he was three weeks from graduating from the University of Tennessee, he was going to Taco Bell late at night, he didn't even see the car come out, T-boned him. Same time I lost one of my dearest friends on this planet, 58 years of age, battling ALS, and just this past week I had my second dad, he was like my second dad, pass away after a battle of cancer. So I understand life comes into focus, but death becomes a real situation. What's going to happen to you when you die?

Can I just tell you this, if you're sitting here going I hope I go to heaven, I think I'll go to heaven, Jesus didn't die on the cross for you to be pretty sure about anything. The Bible says these things have been written that you may know you have eternal life. So those three questions, not only does he cleanse us, not only does he change us, but he also compels us. Today we're looking around at this campus and there's baptisms that have been scheduled throughout the year, so many people are coming and you may be here this morning and you've never gone through Believer's Baptism, he compels us, Jesus compels us to walk through this. Paul was baptized, I mean let me just go ahead and tell you, this is the New Testament example, and you could be sitting here going, well you know what, I'm not prepared. Two things, one, the church has prepared for you to go through baptism this morning, but second of all, in the New Testament it was always spontaneous. They met Jesus and they were baptized. Philip in the Ethiopian eunuch, let me go back to the acts of the days of Pentecost where the gospel was preached and 3,000 people came to Christ, it was an incredible day of baptism in front of the New Testament church. It is always the New Testament way of doing this. The second thing is I want you to see how it is the complete obedience. In Romans chapter 6, listen to how Paul puts it, he says, or do you not know as many of us were baptized into Christ Jesus, were baptized into His death, therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also should walk in newness of life. Let me tell you what's so important about that. Listen to how Paul described it. He gave salvation as an illustration through that of baptism. When we come to know Christ, it is His death, His burial, and His resurrection. Why are we calling you to baptism? Number one is the definition of the word is to submerge. Number two, it is the intention of the word.

As Paul says, death, burial, and resurrection, not only is it for definition and intention, it's also for inspiration, because what happened on the third day? That's the reason we don't keep you underneath the water, amen? That is your testimony to this world that the tomb is empty, the throne is occupied, and Jesus Christ is Lord. Some of you are here this morning, and God's speaking to your heart about baptism. The third reason I'm going to share with you to do it is because it also gives inspiration to others. It is when a father comes down and says to his family, I've been changed by Christ. The mom comes down, the student comes down in front of all the classmates, the friends come down. It is our inspiration to this world that I am no longer ashamed. I am professing Jesus Christ as my Lord. I'm going to say just like the preacher said one time, if everyone else is coming out of the closet, why can't evangelicals come out of the closet? Let's follow Jesus boldly. Today's your day. We can talk about all that, but let me just go ahead and share with you, there's the most important thing I have in my Bible. It's a clipping. I clipped it out, and I'll keep it in my Bible. It's a story about someone who was running for office. His name, Herbert Connolly. This election took place in the state of Massachusetts. He really wanted this thing bad. He campaigned for it for a year. In fact, listen to this, on election day he found himself in three different cities campaigning for this office. At 7.45 he realized something. He realized that he himself had forgotten to vote.

Got to his car, got to the polls, the polls were closed. He went on. the hotel ballroom, they were throwing an election party for him and the results came out. Could you imagine being in the room seeing this before your eyes? He got 14,715 votes. His opponent got 14,716 votes. A true life story of someone who just simply forgot to do the one most important thing. We're so glad you came this morning, but if all you did was come and sing some songs and you left out of here without meeting Jesus, you've missed it. It's not by running up and down these aisles. It's not screaming at the top of your lungs. Let me quote Paul who's quoting the book of Joel when he says, whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. I love that because it's whosoever means me, it means you. Whosoever call, the word call means to stretch forth. Now being a grandfather, I love it when my grandkids look up at me. That's not what Paul's saying. Let me explain it to you. In Joel, he is quoting Joel who's talking about the coming day of the Lord. So there's a lot of anger, there's a lot of urgency. So the word call means to stretch forth. It'd be like if you were drowning out in the bay and you were about to go under for the last time and right before you went under, someone threw you a life preserver. You know what you're going to do. Drowning men, drowning ladies will do anything to be saved. You're going to grab the life preserver. Now you could be sitting here going, wait a minute. That means I saved myself. No, I got to remind you, sir, you're drowning. You can't save you. You have to trust the life preserver. Now this is where you got to hear it. I'm not the life preserver. As much as I love Liberty Live, this is not your life. God just loves you so much. He uses tools like this to throw the life preserver your way. We're talking about whosoever calls upon the name of Jesus shall be saved. If you're here this morning and you don't know him, I don't know a better way to lead you to Christ than by a prayer. And a prayer is not repeating after me. It's not meeting God at the conference room and negotiating. Some of us would love that. If I could just barter something, I got to have a deal. No, I want you to hear me unconditionally. You have to come to Jesus under his terms, under his provisions, or you don't come at all. The word we're talking about this morning is surrender. And I don't know a better way than if you're sitting here this morning saying, I need Jesus. I'm tired of asking the questions. I got to have answers. He's the one you're searching for. And today, right there where you're sitting, either online or in this room, as I pray this prayer out loud, I'm going to invite you wherever you are across this room

to pray this prayer inside your heart. If you don't know him, if you're sitting there going, I'm pretty sure, as I pray this prayer out loud, I want you to talk to him. Don't worry about repeating every word after me. You just talk to him. He wants a relationship with you. He didn't die on the cross to make you religious. He died on the cross so he can have a relationship with you. And he resurrected so he can have that relationship with you. So this morning, if we all bow our heads, no one's going to think we're weird. Every head bowed, every eyes closed in every situation. As I pray this prayer out loud, I want you to pray it inside your heart. It goes like this. Dear God, I know I've done some things wrong, but I know you love me to the point you sent your son to die on the cross for me. So right now, the best way I know how, I receive you into my life. Forgive me of my sin. Make me brand new. I know you love me. Help me to love you. Thank you, God. Now, I'm just going to ask you to look right up here. The reason why I'm doing that is because I know some of you are like, well, okay, what's going to happen? The roof hadn't scaled back. You don't see angels doing cartwheels in front of you. And you could be sitting there going, wait a minute, I just did that. Hey, nothing's changed. No, no, hear me. This is biblical truth for you this morning. If it was anything that you could do, you could see, you could touch, you could feel, that's not saving faith. Saving faith is not placing faith and trust in what I have done. Saving faith is putting my faith and trust in what Jesus has done. He's the one who saves you. That's the reason it matters what Jesus says. And here's what Jesus says. He puts it like this. There is nothing called a private religion, okay? Jesus says out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth's going to speak. But here's how he put it in Mark chapter eight. He said, if you deny me before men, I'll deny before my father. If you confess me before men, I'll confess you before my father. So at this point, I don't know what's going on. I don't know your situation, but I do know this. It's got to start somewhere. And this morning, if you're not willing to tell a bunch of people who lost an hour of sleep, I keep remembering that. They came to church. They want to celebrate with you.

They want to help you. They want to encourage you. Look at me, just put this in perspective. If you're not willing to tell these people you're a follower of Jesus, do you think you can go back home, go back to your business, go back to your school, go back to your life and live for him? It's got to start somewhere. So this morning is your starting point. So what we're going to do is in just a few moments from now, we're going to stand, pastors are going to be here at the front. And if you prayed that prayer for the first time, the first time in your minute, I'm just going to ask you to come grab their hand. If you're here this morning and say, man, I need to go through believers baptism, I'm going to ask you to step out, come forward, grab their hand. Here's what I'm going to tell you. Don't come here and do a lot of good things. And that's the one most important thing. What's the most important thing? What is your vote this morning? Saying yes to what God has called you to do in your life. So we're going to stand together as we're standing, pastors are coming forward, they're going to begin to sing. And as Christ is calling you this morning,

I'm going to ask you right now, would you just make your way, even as you stand, you come right now, as they're singing Christ is calling, you come right now. Come on, make your way, make your way, make your way, make your way, make your way, make your way. Tell you what I'm going to ask you to do. I'm going to ask you to do something very important. I was going to come back, but here's what I'm telling you, because of this lull right now, I've been in church all my life. I know what it's like to go, well, I'm not going to be for it, I'm not going to be against it, I'm just going to be neutral. There's no neutrality with Christ. And here's what I've learned, real friends bring friends to Jesus. So listen up, here's what I'm going to ask you. I'm going to count to three. And when I count to three, they're going to begin to sing. And when they begin to sing, I'm going to ask you to do something very important, okay? I want you to hear me, here's the information. When I count to three, I'm going to ask you at that point to lean over the person beside you,

in front of you, behind you, and just simply say, if you'd like to go forward, I'll go with you. Now, I know you're standing out there going, nobody better ask me. All right, let me put you at ease, okay? No one here has got their act together. We've already raised our hand, we're already all messed up, okay? No one's better than anyone else. Let me tell you why we're doing that. Number one, real friends bring friends to Jesus. Number two, I didn't know you were going to be here, you didn't know who I was, I was going to be here. So this morning, we're all on the same playing field. Three, let me ask you this. He's brought you here, he's been speaking to you, what more can he do? Now he's going to give you a friend to say, I'll go with you. Reject Scott all day long, it doesn't make sense to me, for you to like or reject me. But don't play games when God's speaking to your life. Don't play games when God's calling you. So I'm going to count to three, someone's going to lean over to you, it may be husband to wife, friend to friend, child to parent, parent to child. And I know some of you are out there like, you don't know who I'm standing beside right now.

You could be the bridge that God utilizes to draw someone to himself. Salvation, baptism, church membership, whatever's going on in your life, there's an altar here, here's today's the day. Today's the day. I'm going to count to three. Someone's going to ask you, they're going to sing, you come, here we go, let's do it. One, two, three, I'll go with you. I'll go with you. I'll go with you. I'll go with you. Come on, right now, if you're in the middle, step out. If you're in the end, step out, come to Jesus right now. I'll go with you. I'll go with you. I'll go with you. I'll go with you. I'll go with you. I'll go with you. I'll go with you. Come on, I'll go with you. I'll go with you. I'll go with you. I'll go with you. I'll go with you. We're going to wait, I'll go with you, come on. Don't let that person be beside you and miss this opportunity.

Be a real friend. I'll go with you. I'll go with you. I'll go with you. God is in this service and all of our campuses. I want to encourage you right now. You come. Don't resist the moving of the Holy Spirit. Don't say no to Jesus. Say yes to him today. People are coming. And I just want to speak to somebody who's watching online right now. You know you need to respond, so just get out of your pajamas, throw on some clothes, come on to the nearest campus and say yes to Jesus and make it public and be baptized. Don't we want them to do that, amen? God bless you. Just keep coming. You say, well, I don't have a change of clothes. We got you covered. Look, I want to share right here. Let me dump this out. And then we've got a brand new shirt here, and I love the message on this shirt. It says, meet the new me. Everybody gets baptized today, gets this shirt, meet the new me.

Old things pass away, all things become new. Look at this. We've got every size, small, large, triple large, X, X, X. Hey, we got drawers here, and nobody's business has ever been in these drawers, all right? You come on. Everybody say, no excuse. Hear me, some of you are saying right now, I'm afraid of water, literally. I have people that tell me that all the time. I have good news for you, we're 126 years old as a church, and we've never had one drowning, not one. All right? Number two, some of you are saying, I would come, but I want my family to see it. Do you see all the cameras? We're going to be video all of it, it'll be available online. Just ask the person next to you to come with their cell phone and say, hey, I'll take the picture of it, okay? Some of you are saying, I rode with somebody, and they won't wait on me. They will wait on you, and if they won't wait on you, they need to get saved and baptized. Amen. Hey, the last one is this, so many say, I took care of that when I was a baby, my parents got me baptized. And let me just tell you, that was an honorable thing in that your parents wanted you to grow up to know God and love Him. And so, the Bible says 27 times in the book of Acts that they believed and were baptized. They believed and were baptized. However old they were, they were old enough to believe on their own. And I want you to make that commitment today on your own. You can't get to heaven based on what mom and dad or your grandparents wanted. It's your vote today saying yes to Jesus, all right? And so, you make it personal.

Now, I'm going to pray. And right now, as I pray this prayer, I want you to just begin to come online. As I said, we've got everything you need. You come. Everybody say, no excuse. Let's pray. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, I thank you for your servant. I thank you for the Word of God that's been preached today, for the power of the gospel. And I thank you that the gospel is the power of God for salvation for everyone who will believe. And I pray even now, Father, you'll draw people by your Holy Spirit. I'm praying right now that prodigal sons and daughters will come home. I'm praying that those who have drifted far from God will come home. I'm praying for those who heard the gospel for the very first time today to come and say yes to Christ. Lord, we pray for revival. Pour out your Spirit. Move in these moments. And I pray, Lord, knowing that heaven rejoices with every decision. And Lord, I thank you that ultimately, it's not just the angels rejoicing, but God, you yourself, you're rejoicing over us today. So we lift you high, Jesus, for your name's sake, your glory, in Jesus' name. And everyone saying, amen. We're going to go ahead and start baptizing right now. You come all throughout this time period, and we're going to sing. We're going to baptize. Are you glad for revival Sunday? Woo! Hallelujah, hallelujah. I know it was the blood that was shed.

Brought me from the darkness into glorious light Thank you, Jesus, for the blood, amen Baptism is a picture of Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection for you It's a picture of how He died on the cross, was buried, rose on the third day So you can have life, eternal life, everlasting But you have to say yes I've seen people baptized today that I've known and watched grow in their faith I've seen people baptized today We had a couple that came and Ms. Tammy prayed with them They gave their life to Christ today They followed in baptism, husband and wife He's about to be deployed He's headed to the battlefield There are many of you, we live in a military community You know you're being called up, you know you're about to be deployed You know what I loved about him and her being baptized together Is the fact that in the book of Acts Many times it said they were baptized and their household They were baptized and their household I just baptized a husband and wife and two boys We want to see more people go to heaven, less people go to hell Whether you're going to the battlefield or being deployed or not Let me tell you, life's a vapor No one has the promise of tomorrow So I encourage you today If you feel God stirring your heart Drawing you, there's only one answer And the answer is yes Everybody say yes We're going to continue to sing.

We've got so many more in line to be baptized. Come on, let's praise God for what he's doing right now. You come as they sing. I'm clean, sin was shamed on me, and shame was running deep, and love was spilled on Calvary, singing, oh, hallelujah, I'm clean, and God, how can it be? I'm ransomed and redeemed, for standing in your victory, singing, oh, hallelujah, I've been washed in the water, washed in the blood, I'm as good as new, singing, oh, hallelujah, I've been washed in the water, washed in the blood, all because of you, oh, hallelujah. And so what I need for you to do is go as you go. Pray, pray, pray for the next service, and listen, if God's speaking to you, don't you get in your car, go all the way home, and say, I wish I'd done that. No, you come, and you do it right now.
