Thank you because you walk with each one of us. Thank you because when we don't have words, we just shout Jesus. And you are there with your ear inclined to listen to our petition and our prayer. Thank you because we can count on you, with the great I am. Amen. Today we begin the series, More. Look at your neighbor and tell him how good you look. And now say, More. More. That is the title of the series of these four weeks. And I think we are going to sit down the complete conversation in a question that is simple but deep. The question is, what does a person who believes that God has more for her do? How should a person who believes that God has more for her respond? In fact, did you know that God has more for you? Did you know that God has more for you? Now, when we talk about God having more for you, we are not talking about a superficial spirituality that simply uses God to fulfill all her desires. More is not like using God as a celestial machine to fulfill your requests.

When we talk about more, we are talking about more profound and internal things, like character, obedience, maturity, health, surrender, more capacity. In fact, God may want to give you some of these other things, but in the Kingdom, God's more does not begin outside of you. God's more begins inside of you. I want you to remember that. Because more is not simply something that you receive. It is something for which you are really formed. And this is the central thesis of this conversation. God has more for you, but more does not come alone. It comes while you develop, while you wait with purpose, and while you build a life capable of sustaining the more that God has for you. God has more for you, but God's more requires more. The question is not only, does God have more for me? We have already established the starting point that yes. The fundamental question is, is my life built to sustain what I am asking of God? I leave it there for you to sit down. Yes or no? Starting point, God has more. Look at what Paul says to the Ephesians in chapter 3, verse 20, And he who is powerful to do all things much more. Let's read it again. And he who is powerful to do all things much more abundantly than we ask or understand. In other words, my capacity is limited in relation to the more that God has for me. He wants to do it, He can do it, and it is more abundant than I can imagine. So the problem is not whether God has oil. He has oil. The question is, do you know what it is? Are there vessels to receive it? That is the question.

And we are going to go to II Kings, if you have your Bible, your tablet, your telephone, I want you to look for it because it is always good to read your own Bible. If you don't have a Bible, we are going to put it in the Bible floating behind me. But we are going to II Kings, chapter 4. It is a story that begins with a woman in crisis. Say crisis. Has anyone ever been in a crisis here? Raise your hand. The others are dead. The dead raise their hands. If you have been alive for more than three weeks, you have been in a crisis. You have been in a crisis. This woman is in a crisis. Crises are terrible. She lost her husband. She has debts that are up to here, not to the neck. She was up to here. She could not breathe. The debt level was so high that the creditors were going to come and say, you don't pay me, I take your children as slaves. That was the crisis that this woman was in at that moment. Verse 1 says, A woman of the women of the children of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, Your servant, my husband is dead. And you know that your servant was fearful of the Lord, of Jehovah. And the creditor has come to take my two children as slaves. This woman is not asking for luxury, she is not asking for comfort, she is not asking for a whim, she is asking for survival. What she wants is to survive. This woman is so desperate, she is asking for mercy.

She is in a crisis and she is asking for intervention. And Elisha asks her a strange but powerful question in verse 2, he says, And what will I do to you? Declare to me what you have in your house. A very strange question. She is talking about what she lost and the prophet is asking her about what she still has. She is talking about what she lacks and the prophet is asking her about what remains. She is talking about debt and creditors and the prophet is asking her about a seed. And she replies, your seed has nothing. Your seed has nothing at home. If not, say if not. That means except, right? A bowl of oil. And the problem with this story is that maybe you hear me and say, I already know that one. Why did I come with this pitcher, I would have stayed at home. But you know that God has something for you that he wants to pour over your life. There will be a moment of impartition at the end. I don't know if it is for one person or for a hundred people. But if I am you, I open my heart today and say, Lord, teach me something new from an old story. Are you with me today? She says, I have nothing except. But the except here is important because many times in our crisis we say, Lord, I have nothing. I have nothing. And God says, are you sure you have nothing? Are you sure you don't have a seed? Are you sure you don't have a small gift that you have to offer? Are you sure you don't have a bowl of something in your house? The widow says, I have nothing except a bowl of oil. And what she doesn't know is what God is going to use. What she has to open the way to what she needs. That is very much of the kingdom.

That statement is very much of the heavenly kingdom. God many times doesn't start with what you need. He starts with what he already put in your hand. David had a wave. Moses had a rod. The child had two fish, three fish and two breads. Five breads and two fish. And the widow had a bowl of oil. And you say, Pastor, but I really, really, really don't have anything. And if you are Puerto Rican you say, I really, really, really don't have anything. The question is not if you have enough to solve everything. The question is if you are willing to give God what little you have. That is the question. Because God fills empty bowls prepared. Elisha says, go and ask. Go and ask for empty bowls prepared for you. From all your neighbors. Empty, empty. Not little, not filled. Go and ask all your neighbors whether you know them or not. And this is key. Because the miracle does not start by pouring oil. The miracle starts by preparing containers. Before the provision comes the preparation. Before the pouring comes the capacity, the expansion. Before the more comes the vessels. And then here the scene becomes powerful in my opinion. You have a desperate mother. You have some children asking their neighbors, scared, because the tenants are coming and they are going to take them.

You have a closed door. You have a lot of empty bowls. And suddenly the oil starts to flow. And the mother gets happy. And she says, give me another empty bowl. And the son goes and fills himself with oil. Give me another. And he fills himself with oil. Give me another. And he fills himself with oil. And what do you think the mother said to him? Give me another. And he fills himself with oil. Give me another. And the son says, there is no more. And what happened? Tell the story. The oil stopped flowing. The oil stopped. The oil stopped. The oil did not stop because God did not have more oil. The oil stopped because there were no containers left. The limit was not the provision of God. The limit was the capacity available. Faith is not just believing in the heart. Faith also prepares containers. Faith without action is dead. Faith, the heart believes and faith prepares. There are people who say, I believe that God can do more,

but they haven't prepared a single cup. There are people who pray, Lord, bless my finances, but there is no order in your house, there is no budget, there is no intention to develop financial education. There is no generosity, there is no majority, there is no vacuum. There are people who say, Lord, heal my marriage, but there are no honest conversations, there is no counseling, there is no forgiveness, there is no humility, there is no intentional time for the couple. It got uncomfortable all of a sudden, didn't it? But the question is necessary. Is my life built for what I'm asking of God? There are people who are very angry with God because God didn't answer them. There are people who want to turn their backs on God, but the question is, is my life built for what I'm asking of God? Because some of us are asking for oil, but we're not preparing empty cups. God not only wants to give you something, God wants to shape you to sustain what He wants to give you. God is not denying you, listen to this carefully, for someone who is angry with God, He is developing you.

There is a phrase that I want you to keep with us. It's one of those that I tell you, I'll leave it there for you to sit down. I'm going to tell you, understand. God is not retaining the good in you. There is someone who has to hear that today. He is developing you so that the good does not destroy you when it comes. But that it is fruitful. You know that not everything good, not everything good received before time produces life. A good opportunity in an uneducated person produces pride and arrogance. Look at what I've done. A good blessing, an unyielding heart can produce idolatry. A good resource without majordom produces slavery. Are you with me or are you here? An open door, we love to pray through open doors, but a good open door without deep roots can pull you out of the place where God has planted you. Tim Keller, the great theologian and preacher from Presbyteria. He said that the human heart can take good things like success, family, sport, money, approval, and turn them into what we believe will give us identity, security, and salvation. In other words, turn it into our God. That is why God not only wants to give you more, God wants to make sure that the more does not become your God.

What is your God? Everything that you think is going to, what is idolatry? What is idolatry? Everything that occupies the place of God in your heart. Idolatry can be the ministry, it can be a child, it can be a partner, it can be a job, it can be a business, it can be sport, things that in themselves are good. But when I start to think that this is what is going to fill all my needs, is going to heal all my pain, it has become idolatry. Today's idols are not statues that are out there. Today's idols are here planted and sitting on the throne and in the place that belongs to God. There are doors that have not been opened yet, not because God cannot open them, but because God is working in the person who is going to enter through that door, and that is you. There are blessings that have not yet arrived, not because God is slow, but because God is a Father, and He is a good Father. He doesn't just ask,

hey, does my daughter or my son want this? No, as a good Father, He asks, my son, can you sustain what you are asking of me without what you ask of me and I give it to you and you destroy it? My daughter, can you sustain this without it occupying the place of God? Remember this, if you remember one thing, God is not holding back the good. God is developing your capacity for the good to bear fruit. Now, it doesn't mean that all delay is your fault. That is legalism and religiosity. Because there are people who are already feeling guilty, they were like, That's a legalist mentality. There are waiting times that are a divine mystery. I can't explain them to you. There are processes that we don't understand. And there are sufferings that can't be explained with nice phrases, or cheesy phrases, or easy phrases. But it does mean that one of the most honest questions that you and I can ask ourselves is, do I have enough for what I'm asking you? ¿Hay espacio espiritual en mi vida? ¿Hay espacio emocional?

¿Hay espacio de relaciones, relacional? ¿Hay espacio, hay vacía en mi ritmo? ¿Hay vacía en mi corazón? Porque el más de Dios nunca, diga nunca, el más de Dios nunca es un problema de provisión. Sino que más bien es un problema de capacidad muchas veces. Más requiere fidelidad. Jesús lo dijo así en Lucas 16 días. Si alguien se acuerda, dice, el que es fiel en lo poco, también en lo más es fiel. El que es fiel en lo poco, también en lo más es fiel. Y el que en lo poco es injusto, también en lo más es injusto. Esto nos confronta porque a veces queremos que Dios nos dé lo mucho para entonces ser fiel. Señor, cuando tú me des, yo seré generoso. Cuando tenga tiempo, tiempo libre, entonces yo voy a orar. Se está viendo cómo va la cosa. Señor, cuando tú abras la puerta, entonces yo me voy a preparar. Pero Jesús no dice, el que espera lo mucho será fiel. Eso no es lo que dice en ese verso 10. Jesús dice, el que es fiel en lo poco. Escucha esto bien. La fidelidad en lo poco no es insignificante. La fidelidad en lo poco no es insignificante. La fidelidad en lo poco es el cimiento, es la base del más. La cultura nos enseña el más, pero de forma inmediata, de forma instantánea,

de forma rápida. Cuando tú vas a TikTok, nunca te enseñan el proceso. O sea, usted le dan una receta y si se tardó mucho, la persona que usted hace, dale para adelante. No, porque yo la quiero rápido. Y usted nunca ve el proceso ni en TikTok, ni en Instagram, ni en Los Ríos, ni en ningún lugar. La cultura te dice, tiene que ser rápido. Recibe más y vivimos en la cultura de lo inmediato, la gratificación inmediata, pero Dios no funciona así, ni su reino funciona así, por eso no está en TikTok. La cultura nos vende más sin proceso. El éxito inmediato, los influencers que se han hecho multimillonarios y te enseñan el yate y te enseñan la ropa y usted así, ¿verdad? Trabajando toda la vida por 15 pesos la hora y usted dice, pero ¿cómo? Entonces, el reino enseña otra cosa. Dios prepara a la persona antes de expandirla. Nosotros queremos el aceite. Jesús estuvo en el anonimato por 30 años y tres años de ministerio. Nosotros queremos tres años de preparación y 30 de plataforma pública o de éxito, ¿sí o no? Así ocurrió con José, así ocurrió con Esther, así ocurrió con Deborah, así ocurrió con... O sea, te puedo ver, las puedo ver las imágenes en mi mente de cómo la preparación anticipó o vino antes del destino. La pregunta, otra pregunta de hoy es, ¿en qué áreas de mi vida necesito preparar vasijas?

¿En qué áreas de tu vida necesitas preparar vasijas? No en teoría, no en general, sino usted sabe que a mí me gusta la aplicación y llegar a lo práctico. En la vida real, quizás tu vida espiritual, tal vez la vasija es tu vida espiritual. Estás pidiendo dirección, pero no hay espacio para escuchar. Estás pidiendo más de Dios, pero tu alma vive a jorar y a toda prisa todo el tiempo. Tal vez la vasija es volver al lugar secreto, al lugar de menos ruido, al lugar de oración, de menos actividad, de más presencia de Dios en tu vida. Tal vez tu salud emocional es tu vasija y tus relaciones. Sabes que tú puedes amar a Dios y todavía necesitar sanidad. ¿Cuántas veces no conozco personas espirituales, personas creyentes, perdón, que no avanzan en su espiritualidad? Spirituality because they refuse to heal their emotional life and there is no one without the other, you can not grow spiritually without growing emotionally, they are tied by the hand, you can see it in the word, emotional health, relationships, some are asking for more community, but they have not prepared the cup of vulnerability. They want deep friendships, but they live protected all the time, you get closer than three feet and they put locks, walls and begin to become a transformer in front of you, you do not pass from there, we are Christians and brothers, but you there and I here, yes or no? They want support, but they do not want anyone to approach, they want a spiritual family, they hear us talk about a spiritual family and they feel alone, solitary, isolated, but they are magicians, they appear and disappear, today you see them and tomorrow you do not see them, they say no, but I do not feel like a family, because you have to have presence in front of other people, you have to have community, you have to have vulnerability, they want restoration, but they do not want uncomfortable conversations, they want more, God has more, but maybe He wants to heal the container before giving you more, maybe emptiness for you is a majority and rhythms, we ask for more provision, but there is no order, we ask for more responsibility, but there is no margin, there is no space, we ask for more opportunity, but there is no structure, you know that rest is a container, you know that your calendar is a container, your agenda is a container, you know that the intentional planning in your house, not only in your work, is a container, sometimes we want God to bless a life that has no margin to receive blessing, and maybe, I have not mentioned it, but maybe the most important emptiness for you today is surrender, maybe there are areas in your life that you have not surrendered to God, and you keep turning around and turning around because it makes you feel good, listen to this, because it brings a relief even if it is temporary, that is an idol in the heart that occupies the place of God and an emptiness that you have not brought to Him. I want to take this to the gospel, say gospel, because if we are not careful, we hear this message and it may sound like you have to prepare more, make more effort, work more, improve more, and then God will give you more, if that is what you got out of this message, you lost it, because that is not the gospel, that is religion and legalism. Listen to me carefully, that is not the gospel, that is religion, the gospel does not begin with our capacity, the gospel begins with our incapacity. This is the first, because Jesus is the perfect container, you and I are vessels of clay, look at what Paul said to the church in Corinth in the second letter, chapter 4, because God who said that the light should shine in the darkness, made his light shine in our hearts, so that we would know the glory of God that shines in the face of Jesus Christ. And then he says, but we have this treasure, what is the treasure? The light of Christ, Christ himself, but we have this treasure, where? You and I are vessels of clay, so that it may be seen that such sublime power comes from God and not from us. We find ourselves atributed to everything, but not defeated, perplexed, but not desperate, persecuted, but not abandoned, overthrown, but not destroyed. The truth is that we are all fragile vessels, broken vessels, broken vessels, vessels with a hole, vessels hit by life. So many times they have been filled with the wrong things, but Jesus came as the perfect Son, the faithful servant, the only perfect vessel, the only one completely surrendered to the Father, in the little and in the much, and God raised him as faithful.

He was faithful, he was faithful, he perfectly held the will of God, and on the cross he was emptied so that we could be full. He paid what we could not pay. He opened the way for provision. He is the provision that we cannot produce. So if you do it for human effort, your vessel will always be broken, broken and incomplete. The only one who can fill your vessel is Jesus Christ, the one who resurrected on the third day, carried all your shame, all your illness, and today he is at the right hand of the Father. He is the only one who is willing to pour and fill your vessel of oil, the oil of the anointing, what we need. He paid what we could not pay. We are bringing empty vessels. It is the only thing that you and I can bring. Empty vessels to the God who delights in filling the empty. The Gospel does not say, fill yourself. The Gospel says, come empty to Christ and he will fill you. This is the problem of many. The grace that they have tried to fill their vessels with so many things and they are still disappointed, discouraged, and sometimes we have been in the church for a long time and we are still disappointed and discouraged because we have filled our vessels with so many other things with our own effort. But the grace that saves us is also the grace that shapes us. According to salvation is a gift, formation is a process. Are you with me so far? And both things are grace.

So what do we do? What do we do with all this? If I cannot do it, but I want to do it, I invite you to prepare an empty vessel this week. One empty vessel, say one. Do not try to bring all the empty vessels of all 40 years of life that you have been pouring all the way. Take one empty vessel. Start with one. Maybe it is the vessel of prayer. Maybe it is the vessel of performance. Maybe it is the vessel of order. Financial order, order in the house, rhythm, rest, structure in your life. Maybe it is the vessel of obedience. In what area have I not been obedient? Have I not surrendered to Him? And if you say, I don't know. Which vessel to bring? Ask the Lord what He will tell you. He will tell you. Say, Lord, where do I need to make space? What area of my life has not grown to the rhythm of my requests? Lord, where are you developing me? Say, Lord, where do I need to be faithful? In the little. That is your vessel. This is not very complicated. It is not an esoteric idea up there. Land it, God.

It is very good. It is very easy. One vessel. Lord, show me one vessel. Because I am going to bring you all of them. But I can only bring you one at a time. Because my heart cannot. But I bring you my heart. I give you all that I am. My mistakes. My failures. My successes. My sadness. My joy. My disappointment. My discouragement. Everything. Lord, here is the area where I need to make space. Make space in me. For whatever you want to spill.

It is interesting. Because the story of the widow with Eliseo ends. Eliseo says this to the woman. Go and sell the oil. And pay your creditors. And you and your children live with whatever is left. This is incredible. Because sometimes we are asking God for lemons. God not only gave him enough to survive the moment. He gave him enough to pay the debt and live towards the future. That is God's mercy. That is God's mercy. God is not only healing. God is redemption and transformation. God is not only oil in a vessel. God is not only oil for a vessel. He is oil enough for a new story. He redeems you. He transforms you. He gives you a new name. He gives you a new identity. He restores your purpose. You bring him your broken and broken vessels and he restores them and he fills them. He fills them. But remember this, the oil filled the vessels that were prepared. That's why when we start with this series, I think the Holy Spirit is making us an invitation. Don't reduce your prayers.

Are there empty vessels in my life? Are there empty vessels in my house? Are there empty vessels in my marriage? Are there empty vessels in my church? Lord please, are there empty vessels in this church? He will not pour where there are no empty vessels. If we are full, if we are tired, if we come satiated, if we come without expectations. My prayer for you, do you know what it is?

May God blow life on those who have stopped believing that God has more. Maybe that is you, empty. You are satisfied and you think, this is how it should be. And God is reminding you, I have more for you. But my more requires more. My more requires more. And it is not more from you, it is more from Him. Second, I want to pray for those who are asking for more, but they have forgotten to prepare empty vessels. Empty. Empty because they have filled their lives with so many things, that don't necessarily have to be bad, but they have filled their lives with so much that there is no room for more. They are satisfied. And satiety does not lead to indifference, it does not lead to forgetting and doubting God's promises. Our faith is shaken, but this series has the potential to transform us. If we come before Him, recognizing that He is the God of more, He will not disappoint us. He will not disappoint you. I don't know about you, but for me, I feel that God wants to fill my vessels. He is inviting me to bring Him the vessels. Vessels that I have forgotten. Vessels that I have discarded. Vessels that doubt has forced me to put aside. And I, in a moment, I'm going to get out of here because I want to be the first one in which God fills my vessel. So I'm going to make a call to you. And maybe God put this message in my heart for one person. I know that at least it was for me. But maybe it was for someone else. But if God spoke to your heart today, I want to invite you all to stand up

where you are. And we are going to worship together. But there is something that we are going to do that normally I don't do. And it is a time of response, a time of calling. A time where you do in the physical what perhaps in your heart God has already invited you to do. I'm going to tell the Lord. I'm going to activate my faith in the physical, and I'm going to bring my vessel. I tell you what, you have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.
