Yes, it's crazy. King Jesus is worthy today of all of our praise. He has met with us already and He will continue to move and to minister and to be glorified as we His people lift Him up in this house this morning. And so I just want to say to you, it's always a right response to come before the Lord. I'm not even asking our prayer leaders to be, maybe you just need somebody to give you permission to close the gap between you and the Lord right now. Let me tell you the beauty of moments like this. He has always wanted to make himself known. What we're doing right now is trying to rightly align. the heavens for a moment, okay? I'll pray some things over you. I'm asking right now, Father, that you would unleash in this room restored hope. Hope would be restored right now in the authority of Jesus Christ. For hearts that have longed, hoped in the midst of darkness and despair, I pray that you would right now break the darkness, Father. And that right now in this very room, that hope's going to be restored in such a way that it'll never be lost again. God, I'm asking for healing, Lord Jesus, that you let the power of the kingdom of God be displayed through the gift of healing, even in this room and through those in this room to others, that you, Jesus, might be glorified. God, what I ask right now is that you would defeat the enemy. God, I pray against any bondage, any stronghold. God, any scheme, any attack, Lord, you're here. And so, Jesus, I would ask you, would you rebuke the enemy in the lives of people in this room right now? That things would be forever broken, Lord Jesus. Shackles are falling right now. Right now in this room, shackles are falling. And that sons and daughters are going to run free after today. So, Father, I ask that because you are worthy of it all. You are worthy of it all. So, God, thank you. Just in my spirit, I thank you for a foretaste of what's to come. So, God, we're going to believe for you to come and move in our midst in such a way that a lot of people that don't have hope yet would find it. And a lot of things would happen in and through your people that would glorify your name, Jesus. So, we just say again, you are worthy of it all. Hey, let's just take a moment and pour out our praise on him. Come on. Amen. I think we probably do better than that, man. Let's glorify the Lord. Thank you for his presence. All right. Hey, you can go ahead and have a seat. I think that there's

going to be some more ministry in the next few moments. I'm going to try to rightly do what I think I'm supposed to do in these next moments to stay out of the way of what God is doing in this room. Hey, man, we're in a special season of our church, special. And we don't deserve moments like this. We don't deserve what he's doing, but we do want to be a part of it, don't we? Right? We do want to seek his face, man, to pursue him. And so, today you might need a breakthrough. And I'm going to think in a moment we're going to have some ministry time. But in the next few moments, I want to rightly celebrate some things. With that being said, I know what God's doing in me. I have a great sense of what God's wanting to do in us. And I just want to ask you to let's go on this journey together. One of the ways we can do this, I'm going to ask you to make a priority to be here this next Wednesday night. You hear me? This next Wednesday night, we're starting a series of Wednesday nights that I think the kingdom is going to come. And God's bringing a voice to us in light of revival. Luke Lefevre is his name. It's the best last name in the world. Can we just go ahead and say it? He got the fever, right? Lefevre. And so, Wednesdays at CG kick off this next Wednesday night. And I'm going to ask you to be here with us six o'clock. He is, God's using him. He's just a dude. But he's a lightning rod for revival. He's a lightning rod for repentance and deep restoration. So, I'm going to ask you, make a priority to come and join us this next Wednesday night and the next Wednesday nights together. Because God's got some great things in store. Let me tell you, in light of revival, and I think, I'm going to say this the best way I know how, I think the move of God is already happening. We're just, we're finding our way into the screen. Next week, we're going to start a journey through the book of Nehemiah, which is, I know, come on, you can read ahead, chapter one, all right? And it is a story of revival and rebuilding that changes a nation. And I felt like God honestly waited until I got aligned to rightly see that that's where he wanted us to go. So, I'm believing big for this fall season. In light of a real move of God, you can go ahead and read ahead. But today, what I want to do is, you have to have moments as a church family where you stop and recount what the Lord is doing. And the Lord is doing something special in our midst, okay? And so, we, three years ago, we painted a picture of the kind of church we're believing to become. We gave our vision statement. Listen, every church and every organization has these things, but we're actually trying to live in light of them, that we want to be a church that helps people find hope, right? That we want to help as many people as possible.

Possible find hope let's be a church that helps people do it I get to see and what I do every week the darkness that people are Experiencing the hopelessness that's out there And so what we feel commissioned by God to be is a church that helps as many people as possible Find hope in the way that we want to do fulfill our vision is through a mission of helping people know his presence Because in these last few moments our hope was soaring was it not And can you imagine to have gatherings week after week where we prayed like crazy believed as big as possible walked into this Room and we experience his presence because in his presence. There's joy in his presence. There's power man in his presence There's perspective so we want to help as many people as possible know his presence We want to help as many people as possible belong to his family. That's not just language We want as many people as possible in this whole region to know what it's like to be a part of the family of God Now we're not a self-led people We're a God who has a father right and that our father is making himself known and manifest ways among us He is ministering. He's clarifying. He's changing us from the inside out We want to be a church that knows his presence belongs to his family We want to be a church that helps you live your purpose That every person in this room hear me now you got a purpose That God saw you in your conception Hallelujah in the fact in the framing and framework of your being God knew who you were you were intended to become So we want to help as many people as possible live out their personal purpose. So that's our vision That's our mission and then three years ago. We came and we gave you our Strategy as a church our next-ten strategy, which honestly I had a guy listen to me Stop me in the hallway just a few moments ago and said to me who's really early in his spiritual journey He said hey man, thanks for being the kind of church. That's not scared to say what you're believing for I was like, come on, dude I know where you're at in this thing and what God is even saying through you and what we put on not merely a wall Is that we're believing to become a certain kind of church Now we're not merely believing to do stuff We're not we're not just just about measurables But we want to believe that God is so real and so active in our midst and in this church

That we can ask him and then live like it will be so So we believe certain things and I want to celebrate some of those things I believe in to become a house of prayer We had 200 plus leaders last Saturday that were up here praying We got people that are fasting and seeking God's face every season We're gonna come before you and say let's just pray a little bit better Because we're believing to become a house of prayer. We told you that we want to be a church that develops a leadership pipeline That we believe that Jesus is still calling people Do you believe that that Jesus is still calling young men and women of God to fulfill the ministry that God's still calling pastors Come on now God still calling missionaries Right that God's still calling business leaders to leverage their influence for the sake of the kingdom of God And what we want to do is not merely preach it We want to give journeys to take people on that they can actually develop that So we entrusted Alan man to be our pastor of leadership development, and we're making this stuff up as we go, right? Building the plane in the air, but I can tell you in the last couple years We've had 60 adults that's went through our leadership pipeline 55 students. That's went through am I grateful for that, right? That's taking it and I'm not talking about like they come for a Saturday get a seminar and we send them off Like no man, they spend a whole season of their life to be developed to become the man of God the woman of God They're intended to be man. We told you three years ago. I stood here like last fall three years ago We want to build blessed families Because the enemy's out to steal kill and destroy, you know that That the enemy's trying to curse families, but we said no we're gonna get in the war We're gonna get in a fight and we're gonna work like crazy We're gonna pray our guts out believing to build future generations of families And then we're gonna put like our feet to that faith and do something So we adopted a re-engaged course that we're encouraging every married couple to go through at some Point and then in the last two years really we've had a hundred and twenty nine couples that have went through the re-engaged course All right, think about that We're gonna get so better than golf claps in a second, okay All right, I want us to get better. Listen, we have 35 more couples signed up right now

We have 20-something couples in the hopper for the next time and what we're saying is spirit of the Living God Move in such a way that you build blessed families It's someone 28. I pray for my family. I pray for this church family. It's the blessing of God It's as blessed as everyone who fears the Lord who walks in his ways you shall eat the fruit of the lamb you shall be blessed and it shall be well with you. Listen to me, I want this to be so. In the wives of Crossgates, it says, your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house. Your children will be like olive shoots around your table. I'm praying this blessing over my home and over this house. That the wives of Crossgates, man, will be like a fruitful vine, like the life of God pouring through them. That the families, man, like olive shoots around your table. I got five little olive shoots around my table, right? And you know what I'm asking? God, let us be such a house that they're deeply rooted in the gospel of Jesus Cross, that they're filled with the spirit of God, that they're boring deep roots and bearing big fruit. And that's not talk, we gotta get after it. We gotta position them over and over and over again. I love that the blessed family doesn't merely stop with our children, but it moves to our grandchildren. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord. The Lord bless you from Zion. May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life. May you see your children's children, hallelujah. Peace be upon Israel.

Let me tell you what we're believing as Crossgates, taking Psalm 128 as a promise, multi-generational blessing. That the generation, that's why we're gonna be intentional. We got grandparenting equipping coming. Because we wanna train grandparents to not merely, you know, fork over some money at birthdays, even though you do that, hallelujah, right? But that you might bless, that you might speak a blessing, that you might be prayerful and intentional in those things. We're taking steps to where we wanna belong to a healthy church. Meaning God intended this to be more than a country club where you sign a membership form and give your dues every once in a while. God's building a family. And the best way we glorify Jesus is be the healthiest family possible. That everyone's aligned, that we're believing together, that we're serving together, we're contributing toward the mission of God together. And guys, listen to me. You better give me better than a golf clap, okay? Right here. In the last three years, we've clarified our foundations process. We're trying to get better and better at every time. We have seen by God's grace, this is what God's done, not what we've done. It's what Jesus is doing. We've had 320 families complete the foundations class.

It's the last three years. That's a young adult single, then that's a young married couple, then that's a family that's joined. When you add the kids into it, it's like 4.4 million people. Like, it's a lot. It feels like it sometimes. I want you to think about that. In the last three years, every family's got a story. Every family's got a downline, right? Every family's got a legacy and an opportunity for the sake of the kingdom of God that we wanna be a church, listen to me, that rightly aligns. I love what Hebrews 13, 17 says. Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls as those that will give an account. Now, we hear obey and submit. I know, I don't necessarily like obey or submit, that there's the rebel in us that rails against authority structures, and you're missing the point. That God is saying in the faith family that we so position, and hear me now, we so position ourself under spiritual authority for the sake of flourishing. And here's the truth for us. I know this.

Brother David led like this. I believe this. Our elders are leaders. I'm gonna give an account for you one day. I'm going to give an account before God, so I wanna know who I'm counting. I wanna know who's identifying with this body, who's saying that they signed up and are part of this local expression of a global family. And then the last thing, I just wanna celebrate. Man, we're just reporting to you what God is doing, is that we wanna be a church that has a culture of soul winning, that we wanna reach people. We put a really big God-sized goal out there three years ago. This time, three years ago, came before you, and honestly, your pastor chickened out. That I went lower than what I think God even put in my spirit. We said, hey, we wanna believe that there's so many people in Rankin County that still need the good news of Jesus, that we're gonna pray like crazy, we're gonna share the gospel, we're gonna have moments we invite people to respond to what Jesus has done on their behalf, and that we're gonna believe in these 10 years from 2023 to 2033, we're gonna believe to see 2,000 people baptized. Now, that's crazy, right?

You put it out, well, I think God actually meant for more. But we landed there, and I'm here to report, this morning, in the last three years, 708 people have been biblically baptized. Come on now, come on, come on, come on. That's right. Come on. It don't get better than that. Because that's not numbers, that's names. That's people, man, that at some point took the next right step, heard the good news, was saved by Christ, was biblically baptized, and Satan lost. So it matters. We told you three years ago, part of your first fruits giving in the way that we're a part of this thing. We made a commitment through when Brother David was leading here, saying no matter what you give, we make a commitment to you. At least 10, it's more than that, at least 10% of what was received goes right out to this, outside these walls, to partnerships, man, to people that we support, the ways that we get engaged with finishing the task of getting the gospel to as many people as possible. We told you three years ago that we're going to believe that through this house, $8 million would be released to finishing the task. I got news for you, we're going to smoke that number in Jesus' name, right? As of today, $3.1 million, in the last three years, $3.1 million given. Come on. Come on, man, that's better than that. That's the best. Yes. Because on the other side of this, we got one thing to live for, he's coming back. So in our one shot, let's give ourselves to finishing this task. Now this morning, then I want to get out of the way. I just love what the Lord's doing in our church. Look, we do rightly evaluate, so hey God, how do we get better at becoming who you've called us to be? If the goal is to the fullness measure the stature of Christ, how do we grow into that? Well, one part I feel a deficiency, and now I'm going to paint a picture for us, is at this point, we don't know yet how we're going to engage with, multiply a family of churches. That's one of our things out there. And I'll be honest with you, you can take a tack and put it on a map and say, well, let's just plant a church over here, plant a church over there, do that kind of thing. We're not here for that. We only move as he says, go. We only go at God initiation. And may tell you what I felt the spirit of God say to me in this last year. He says, Kyle, the heart behind that is on point, dude.

But before we worry about multiplying churches, let's multiply disciple makers. To sit and look out into this room and say, listen to me, every follower of Christ in this room, God made you to multiply. He made you to multiply. And I know sometimes it's hard to understand that. So I want us to see something real quick. We actually put a video so you can visualize what it looks like to be made to multiply. Watch this. You were never made to just consume space, chase comfort, or build a name for yourself. You were made to multiply, not just success, not just followers, not just influence for your own story. You were made to multiply the kingdom of God. Some people multiply through a microphone, some through a dinner table, some through a classroom, a job site, a hospital room, a coffee shop, a team huddle, or a conversation. No one else sees because influence is not about platform. It's about obedience. The kingdom has always moved this way. One life touching another. This is how God changes cities, not their spectators, for people who understand they were made to multiply. To multiply hope where fear is taken over, to multiply truth in a world of confusion, to multiply generosity in a culture of selfishness, to multiply disciples who make disciples. It's believing to become. And maybe the greatest tragedy is not failure. Maybe it's living close enough to the mission to admire it, but never close enough to sacrifice for it. But there is another way to live. A life that says everything I have, my influence, my resources, my relationships, my gifts, they belong to you. Because when surrendered people say yes to God, multiplication happens. Seeds become harvest. Small acts become eternal stories. Ordinary people become carriers of extraordinary purpose. You don't have to be famous to change someone's eternity. You just have to be faithful. This generation does not need more consumers. It needs disciple makers. People willing to live on mission in boardrooms and neighborhoods, on campuses and ball fields. in churches and in everyday life. You were not made to live safely. You were made to multiply. Amen, come on, give Him glory. And I think the greatest lie of the enemy into the life of believers that's represented in this room

is that that mission is for somebody else. And I'm here to tell you this morning, follower of Jesus Christ, you were made to multiply. You were made for God's life to come flowing through you to others. You ain't gotta be loud like me. Lord knows we don't need more people loud like me. But you gotta find your role. That God might reproduce His life through you into others. So if we're made to multiply, what are we multiplying? And today what I'm telling you, it tethered to our vision, our mission, our strategy, is we wanna make this personal to every person. This is who we're believing to become as a people. This is what we're believing for you to become as a person. So I'm gonna give you what a dream disciple is. I got a little diagram for you that if you're like me, you need your readers, I'm gonna break it down for you, baby, all right? Let me tell you what a dream disciple, and this is our target as a church moving into the future, is that we wanna help as many people as possible become a Jesus follower. I'm gonna tell you something that happened in the last service that's happening every Sunday. You had some people that walked in this room far from God that started following Jesus. Come on. It never gets better than that. And what I'm here to tell you today,

for some of you today, is to become a follower of Jesus. And what we wanna do every service, every week, is take moments to help you. That's why we preach the gospel and give people a chance to respond every Sunday. That's why we have the moment is help people take their next step. But here's the truth. You never graduate from following Jesus. So your first step just lends itself to its next step, and it keeps playing out until we step into his presence. So a dream disciple is a constant follower of Jesus. And so what our hope is to be a house that helps people do that fully, to live into Luke 9, 23, and he said to all, if anyone would come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. We're not raising up fans in this house. We're raising up followers, people that are moving toward the glory of God, the grace of God, that know the love of Jesus Christ. So a question that all of us have to answer today is, hey, what's your next right step as a Jesus follower? And that never stops. For some, today's the day that you're gonna reach out by faith and receive the gift of salvation. Somebody in this room's gonna be a follower of Jesus before their day's over. Some of you are gonna sign up to follow in baptism.

We already got about 30-something people signed up. There are a couple weeks to be baptized. It needs to be 30 more, because I'm sure that is here in this house, people that need to take that next step, following Jesus. Some to join through foundations, identify with this. Some find a group of people to fellowship. You need a smaller expression of the family to be a part of. And some of you are gonna follow Jesus into the mission of God and start making some disciples, start reproducing. I'll talk to you more about that. And something I think that I won't say is unique, but we're wanting to believe here's a church, a dream disciple, is a Jesus follower, but is also a spirit-led believer. The founding documents of this church family are pretty unique. Crossgates has always been, I think, set apart by Jesus to be a word and spirit church. And what we wanna do is help as many people as possible in our preaching, in our equipping, in our disciple-making. Every person possible know what it means to be led by the Holy Spirit, to have a cultivated relationship with God, the Holy Spirit, to believe what Galatians 5, verses 16, 22, and 23, and 25 say, so I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Can you imagine if God allows us to unleash thousands of dream disciples that are led by the Spirit? Let the Holy Spirit guide your lives,

then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves. Verse 22, 23, it says, but the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives, love, peace, I mean, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. There's no law against these things. Verse 25, since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit's leading in every parts of our life. Here's our commitment as a church, we lean into the future, that you have fresh places to believe for in your own life, but also to reproduce, is that we'd be a people that's led by the Spirit. We will cultivate our relationship with God, the Holy Spirit, so much so, listen to me, that what will come out of us is more than us. Come on, right? That what comes flowing through our lives for your family, the greatest thing that can happen in a family, husband, dad, is that a spirit-led man shows up. The best thing that can happen for a family is for a wife, a mom, to be led by the Holy Spirit, to have the power of God permeating their hearts and lives, to move toward that as a people. Listen to me, that we're not surprised when the spirit shows up in a service. Matter of fact, we anticipate it. We desire it, we welcome his work in our midst. Man, dream disciple is a Jesus follower, he's a spirit-led believer, he or she,

listen, they're a prayer warrior. I just wanna talk to you for a second. Can't believe this more. We will move in accordance to our prayer life as a church. We will. I've seen that's true in my life, it will be true in our life. And you were, I say it, I was talking to Jet this week, you were made to pray, and I'm longing to see that transition come from the way we believe that we were made to pray to we love to pray. I love talking with him. I'm growing, I didn't start there, but I'm telling you, I'm in places and moving to places where I love that he hears my cry, I love that he cares, I love, can you imagine what would happen if we become the kind of church that every person that identifies is not, listen, you ain't perfected it, you ain't arrived, but you're in pursuit of becoming a prayer warrior. When God finds a people like that, he sends people that need to be prayed for. Wouldn't it be awesome if God's looking across the line, the landscape of Rankin County, and there's somebody that's hurting, that needs help, and that he wants to move in their life, and he goes, where can I send them? That somebody might engage and pray for them, I'll send them to the people, my kids,

in this little expression called cross gates, because they will seek my face. They will pray, they will believe, they won't just talk about praying, they will learn how to pray. And we wanna be a house that does that, Ephesians 6, 18, praying at all times in the spirit with all prayers, supplication to that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. What does that all, all, all mean? It means pray all the time. That we'd be a people that start with prayer, end with prayer, and pray our way through in the middle. I just wanna say this to you, by the way. Man, I love the thought, and you can feel freedom, to come and pray during a service, during worship, to come down here and pray. That's not distraction, that's getting to God. If you wanna come, I'm gonna say this. First time I ever said this out loud. God will one day fulfill a vision that I have in my spirit of this church, where there's people here praying before the service ever begins. Where the altars are full of people that are already engaging God before a song's ever sung. Before a word's ever whispered. Because we're not here for the preacher,

or for a song performance, we're here for him. And he longs to be sought. Longs to be sought, he welcomes us. He says, come, meet the friend you long for. The friend we need. Fourth part of what we're believing to become as people, and personally, is that God would raise up disciples here that are family builders. Man, I'm telling you, God, this whole thing started with a family. And what God is wanting to build is his forever family, and that's expressed in every individual family. If God so's allow, even for the single in our midst, you're a part of God's family. And if God so allows you to, you might start your own family. I pray that we're the kind of place where you do find your family. That God would fashion young men and young women of God, and that they move toward marriage. And if God so allows and will believe for this, that God will form your family through procreation, through fostering, through adoption, that we'd have microcosms of what God is expressing in his family through families. But that doesn't happen by accident. Listen to me, that's something that has to be built. That we look out and say to every dream disciple, God wants you to be a part of building his family. Craig, look at me.

God wants you to be a part of what he's building here. Isn't that awesome? A family that's gonna last forever. Ephesians 2, 18 and 19. So now you Gentiles, you're no longer. Strangers, you're no longer foreigners. You're citizens along with all God's holy people. You are members of God's family. Together we are his house built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. The cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. God's building a family. Let me tell you what happens in moments like this when messages like this are preached. I'm looking into the eyes of people I love and those that are already all in are thinking, wow, what else, how else can I help? And I want to tell you, you're already doing it. To the rest that are here and you haven't quite found your part in being involved in what God's building in, it's time for you to engage. It's time to find, listen to the groups you're a part of or the groups you'll leave or the way you'll serve and how you'll be a part of, listen to me, that when you come to the state of the church next year and we celebrate what Jesus has done in these last four years of this strategy we put out, that you're not a spectator to it, you're celebrating going, I was a part of that. I was a part of a family, the building of a family

that will last forever. This whole world is vying for our attention. Come be a part of this club. Come be a part of this niche. Come be a part of this societal experience, man. Come be a part of this. And when God's saying, no, come be a part of my kingdom. Come be a part of something that will last forever. All those other things are so secondary, they don't even count. And the last thing that we're believing for in dreams of disciples and what God wants to do in us, listen to me, is kingdom multipliers. I'm gonna slow down and say it and let the spirit of God do with it what he wills. What God desires to come out of every one of his kids is his kingdom. Come on. That the primary way that Jesus wanted his good news to get to as many people as possible, the primary way that Jesus wanted disciples to be made was through disciples. That every follower of Christ would become a reproducer. I love what it says, Acts 1A, but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you'll be my witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and all the places in Judea and Samaria to the ends of the earth. I love it. He goes, let's get this good news

in multiplying ways to the ends of the earth. That's a commission for the whole church, but let's bring it down to each person. In Matthew 28, verses 18 through 20, Miss Laurie, you can go ahead and come. And Jesus came and he said to them, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Don't you love, listen, I love when Jesus makes authority statements. He said, let me clarify something. On the front side of the command, I'm about to bring about a commissioning. I wanna let you in on a secret. Jesus saying, my name is above every name. My authority rules and reigns over every nation, over every principality, over every, I'm about to call you to something, but I wanna start with this. I win is what Jesus says. I'm gonna make an authority statement. I've already defeated sin. I've already defeated death. I've already defeated the devil. All authority is mine. Ain't nobody that could ever say it like he said it, and it is still so. All authority, come on now, come on. All authority in heaven and on earth have been given to me. In light of that, go therefore.

In light of that confident statement, go. Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I've commanded and behold, I'm with you always to the end of the age. He said, hello, front side, back side. All authority is mine. All authority is mine. I'll be with you to the very end. Middle, will you cooperate? Will you go make disciples? You say, Kyle, I don't know what all that means to me. It's the simplicity of this. As a follower of Jesus, by the power of the Spirit, will you let God reproduce through you what he has done in you? You teach what you know, you reproduce who you are. Will you let God reproduce his saving work in you through others? Listen to me, I'm telling you something that's not a secret, but listen to me, in light of the scripture, but it's the thing the enemy is hidden from you. way you lead in a life group and the way you serve in a community way you step into a lot of kids life group a student life group the way that you listen to me meet with a few men on this morning you just help take them a few more steps or ladies maybe you take a few ladies with you and you help them walk more faithfully with that we got guys that started the men's alliance thing here that they work out in the parking lot and share a devotion man and they get sweaty and in the scripture right you know I they're making some disciples they found their way in the work and there's no one right way there's millions of ways that might be expressed the question is do you know yours I heard a guy say this yesterday by the way in Nashville Tennessee we're in light of multiplying spiritual influence that we stood several of our men with 4,400 men worshiping Jesus Christ in Nashville Tennessee yesterday you know why because a couple of those men had come to Jackson Mississippi March 1st 2025 saw what Jesus did here and said let's take it to our city that's multiplying they announced yesterday they went ahead and rented another space for next year where they're gonna believe for 10,000 men in the presence of Jesus Christ right but here's the beauty of it listen to me imagine if 4,000 men are unleashed to go make some disciples in this room a thousand something people that each one finds your way in the work that on the other side of your life or others Chris Harper the leader of the better man movement says this which is one of my favorite illustrations of this he had a buddy his true story had a buddy in college that wanted to learn how to play the guitar and so he went to a guitar lesson learned three chords I don't know anything about it I picked up a guitar one time I sat it down said ain't for me right he learned three chords no joke got pretty good at those three chords went to us back when newspapers and articles and stuff like that went to the newspaper put out an ad as a teacher to teach guitar lessons had over 15 students he taught those three chords used the money he got paid for that guitar lesson to go back to the person he went to and got another lesson went back to his students taught them that

lesson a couple years later he has a studio where he's teaching guitar lessons and is a master class level guitarist and all he did was stay one step ahead welcome to disciple making welcome to disciple making it's not a certificate program it's not a degree top it's somebody look at me it's been captured by the grace of God it's been redeemed by Jesus Christ and says as imperfectly as I possibly can I'm gonna follow you and as I do I'm gonna turn around and say you won't come to I'm gonna stay one step ahead for us away now we get practical a practical way that we're gonna go about the work of releasing disciple making disciples that are making dream disciples is that we're gonna look at you every season and say hey some of you here you need to lead a d-group we got life groups that are making disciples we got equipping things that happen I'm not saying this so that the same people can do more things I am saying for some of you to say you know what it's time for me to get trained so that I might go find a couple people that I can help disciple eyes for a second spirit of God saying some of you you know it's time for me to do that that I need to lead a disciple group we're gonna train you so that you can go find some people and ask them to follow and they ain't following you ultimately they're following Jesus as you follow him so for everybody today my question what's your next step you saw the dream disciple diagram they'll put it back up there for a second that's what we're trying to build all that gets too confusing this is why it always lands right here my next step. So I'm gonna ask you to do something I was amazed by. If you got a phone, I'll never ask you to do this again, probably. But I'm gonna ask you to get your phone out for a second. For those that you're already doing it, listen to me, I'm not asking you to do more. But everybody in this room most likely has the next step.

You can QR code or you can tap tag. If you know how to do that, I know it's magic. I don't know how it works. What you can do is right now, tap tag and all I'm asking you for right now, name, email, number. Later, you're gonna get a text and let me tell you what's gonna happen. For some of you, for some of you, your next right step, some of you have not yet put faith in Jesus Christ. And you need to be bold enough to say, hey, I don't know where I am. I don't know that I know him. If you'll check that, we will follow up. For some of you, you're gonna say, hey, you know what I need to do? I need to be biblically baptized. You're gonna do it. You're gonna say, hey, I need to join the church or hey, I need to move toward finding a group. We will give you prompts. For some of you, you're gonna go, hey, I need to be trained to go lead a D group. To go find, maybe you're gonna go lead a D group, take one guy from our church and go get some guys in the community. Some people, you're not quite sure where they are in their spiritual journey, but give them a season with you and let's see.

Everybody has a next right step in following Jesus. Are you willing to take yours? Imagine, look, a couple thousand people do that today. What happens in the kingdom of God? Dream disciples start being formed. Now the Lord is here and I wanna get out of the way because some of you need hope today. Some of you listening need to know his presence personally. The Lord doesn't waste his presence. If you're here today and you got some hard stuff going on, would you let us minister to you? Would you let us pray with you? Just bow your head for a moment. Our prayer leaders are gonna come. We're almost done. Let's don't run out today. Let's don't run out. I'm gonna ask something, but you gotta be bold with nobody. Looking around, I'm gonna ask you, if you've been overwhelmed by God's presence this morning in this room and you sense God's movement in your life, you've been thinking about these things, but you're hearing, you know, if you are honest, that you are not ready to meet God in a personal way, meaning you don't have confidence that you're in his family. You've been around it maybe, you've heard it, but you're not quite sure if you were to stand before God in a personal way

that you've ever been saved by Christ or made a part of his forever family. But you know that God is calling you that you won't need to be saved made a part of his forever family. I'm not gonna embarrass you, but you gotta move toward that. You have a cooperative work in that receiving the gift of salvation. If you need Jesus to save you this morning, here it is right now. One bold thing I'm gonna ask you to do, nobody else looking around, I just wanna talk to you personally. If you need that to happen today, Jesus to save you, I want you to look at me right now and just raise your hand. I'm gonna have a conversation with you. Look at me right now. I'm gonna ask you to do this. I'm gonna ask you to do this. I'm gonna ask you to do this. I'm gonna have a conversation with you. Look at me right now. Awesome. Others in the room, come on. If it's you, just be bold enough right now to say, that's me. Kyle, I need Jesus to save me and make me a part of his forever family. Others, great, got you.

You can put your hand down. If that's still you, you can look at me right now. You know you need that. Looking to me or raising your hands is not what saves you anyway. Come into a place where you turn and trust in the good news of Jesus Christ. So I can help you do that. I can help you do it. If you mean it, I promise you he'll do it. If you mean it right now, why don't you say something like this? Jesus, here I am this morning. I'm turning from my sin. I'm putting trust in your work on my behalf. On my behalf, save me, I want to follow you. Now, if that was you this morning, I know it was a few of you. Just look at me again for a second. Here's your next right step, but you gotta take it. When you walk out of this room at the Next Step Center, there's some people there smiling faces, holding some of these white boxes. All you gotta do is say, hey, I need a box. If you'll say that, we'll help you go from there. Inside, it's a gift from us, some things to help you get started. Maybe you need some more clarity. We'll have a conversation. It'll be worth it.

Hey, faith family, can we encourage those that just put faith in Jesus Christ? Man, celebrate that. Come on, come on, come on, come on. Just bow your heads for a moment. I'm gonna pray for this and we're gonna stand. We're almost done, but don't miss this moment Okay, Lord. Thank you for your presence. Thank you for what you're doing There's any way you that you want to work in somebody's life right now Lord Would you give them the courage to come and let us pray for them? I bless you in accepting that we all are parts of the body of Christ, each made for a particular purpose as disciples, we each play a role in advancing the kingdom. Jesus gave this commission to us to therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age. Crossgates family, as we are the hands and feet of Jesus, I pray that the Lord places you people and people in your path this week who need hope.
