Living Above See Level

On March 30th, 1853, in a tiny village in the Netherlands, a man was born with whom his parents named after his grandfather, William. As he grew, it was his greatest desire to be an evangelist. After all, his father was a pastor. But by the time young William was 25, he had already been an art dealer, a language teacher, a bookseller, and oh yes, unsuccessful in love on two separate occasions. But by the spring of 1879, he was drawn to a small little mining district in southern Belgium where he began pastoring a small church with just a handful of people. Now he loved the people deeply. God had put a burden in his heart for the people and he fully devoted himself to his fellow man. He would regularly feed the hungry. He would find ways to clothe the naked. He would care constantly for the sick. Sunday after Sunday, those few people would gather in this little building to hear this unassuming man preach the gospel until one day, a visiting church official discovered that young William was living in a hut and only had an old soldier's coat and trousers made of sacking that he would literally wear every day because that's all that he had. When he was asked by the official what he had done with his annual salary from the larger organization,

young William immediately confessed that he had invested it in all the poor miners and their families in the community. Surprisingly, instead of being commended for his shepherding heart and his compassion and his faithfulness to his fellow man, they dismissed William that day for what they deemed overzealousness, overzealousness. He was devastated and what followed was weeks and weeks of deep despair. Now, after that, there was really no reason for William to stay in this little mining village, but he couldn't just bring himself to leave the people that he had grown so deeply to love and have compassion for. Then one day, while sitting on a bench in the town square, William noticed an older miner bending beneath the weight of a full sack of coal, struggling to trod on, weary from the burden of the bag and weary from the burden of the world. And he felt his desperation and young William moved to tears, quickly fumbles in his jacket for an old envelope and a pencil and there he begins to draw what he sees. And what started that day was one man's attempt to capture for the world the torment, the triumph and the dignity of the people that he had grown so deeply to love and the people that he was not allowed to teach. He was finally able to reach through art. And through that art, he immortalized them and most certainly they, him. For the end of William's career as a clergyman

motivated a ministry more monumental than he or anyone could have ever dreamed possible because the preacher who wasn't to be became the artist the entire world would grow to know as William Vincent Van Gogh. Van Gogh's paintings have collectively tendered billions, literally billions of dollars over the last 150 years including an 1888 painting known as the Verger-Avec Cyprus that sold in 2022 for $117 million. Here's why I told you young Van Gogh's story. It's important that you and I know something in our walk with God. I am telling you now, if you haven't already discovered it, it's true in the Bible, you'll see it true and experience that many times in the passage of our lives, what seems in the moment as a setback is really a setup that eventually lead to divine step ups in our life. Let me say it again. That there are many times in the passage of our lives that in the moment, it feels like a setback, it feels like a drawback, but it's actually a divine setup that leads to divine step ups in our lives. Paul understood it well and it's one of the reasons why he penned these incredible words that we're gonna launch from today and that holds a very specific piece that I want us to focus in on for the next few moments. It's in 2 Corinthians chapter four. Paul said, we don't lose heart.

We don't lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction, don't miss this. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. Watch these last verses. As we look not to the things that are seen, but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient or fleeting away, but the things that are unseen are eternal and everlasting. Again, for the next few weeks, we're gonna be talking about spiritual warfare, but I felt led to lay the foundation. With these verses today and talk about what it means to live with a god-first vision Or if I was just going to title it something clever, I would title it living above sea level se Living above sea level that is the ability as believers To understand and navigate this unseen world because not only does the bible say it's real what paul just said That is verified in multiple other places according to the word of god What's more real is what you can't see than what you can see because what you can see is constantly fading away It's transient. It's going away It will not last but the things that are unseen are eternal and everlasting. They will never ever Go away in verse 18 Paul said listen The ability to navigate the unseen world Is real and he said that in order to effectively navigate the difficult moments of life We won't do it because of what we feel because there's going to be a bunch of moments that aren't going to feel good

We're not going to navigate it or be effective or be victorious because of what we sense Because there's going to be a bunch of moments in life that are not going to make logical sense But he said we effectively navigate it by what we see And what we see is determined by how we see because see you know This the world takes a different approach a diametric approach altogether. The world says what seeing is believing? That's what the world says But the bible says no, no, no now believing Is seeing the world says what you see? Is what you get in other words? The only things that are real are the things that can be experienced with the five senses the world The world just lands right here if you can hear it If you can taste it if you can touch it see it or smell it then we know it's real But god is saying to us through the apostle paul that if all you ever see is what you can physically see You're not seeing very much And if all you see is what you physically see you're missing the bigger picture you're missing what's most Significant and important for the life of a believer because verse 18 makes it clear That we have been given the ability We have been given the ability to see what cannot be seen Let me just put it like this for for pragmatic terms. He is saying that when we live our lives out of an eternal perspective When we live our lives out of an eternal perspective and understand just how much the spiritual actually matters in our life Things begin to shift. Let me say it to you this way when the invisible becomes visible the impossible becomes possible When the invisible becomes visible the impossible comes on now, this is the whole reason This statement is Everything that hebrews 11 is about in hebrews 11. We know it what as the hall of fame of faith God took an entire chapter of the bible To make honorary mention of ordinary people who did extraordinary things because they had the ability to see What nobody else saw? And every single honoree in hebrews 11 is preceded by these two famous words By faith

everyone by faith enoch by faith noah by faith abraham by faith Moses by faith jacob and he starts the entire chapter by actually defining what biblical faith is He said it's the substance of things hoped for but look at this. It's the evidence of things not seen He said it's actually the belief in the unseen world because I told you it's real and when I said it to you It was good enough and you believe it's true That you take my word for it Even when you can't see it taste it smell it touch it or hear it You've heard my word and that's enough and everyone who is mentioned after this verse went on to do the impossible Enoch did it noah did it abraham did it moses did it because they were able to see the invisible This is a pivotal issue in regards to spiritual warfare because our enemy please know this he is very real and he's very dangerous Now on the recent podcast I said that people have asked me pastor Do you actually believe there's this little red dude running around with a little pitchfork and a pointed tail and I go? No, that's ridiculous He did that on purpose that caricature of the enemy has done more to hurt us than anything else Because it's caused people not to take him serious And when you don't take him serious, you're a sitting duck if you don't know you're in a fight Punches are coming left and right and you don't know why you're getting the snot knocked out of you, but you are okay And this is what the enemy's hoping he's hoping that we will live only at sea level That you will only see what's real or you will only focus in on what's real is what you can smell taste hear Or touch he don't want you to understand there actually is an unseen world. He doesn't want you to really believe that He don't want you to really experience that because if we never live by faith We will never be a threat to him and we are easily contained It's only when we believe the word of God and begin to live with an eternal perspective, when our spiritual eyes are opened, and we start to view life and the world through spiritual lenses, through spiritual lenses, we see things differently and we begin to understand, no, no, no, greater is he that is within me

than he that is in the world. All of a sudden, fear is replaced with faith. Doubt transforms into determination. God makes it all clear through the Bible that there's this very real world out there that you can't experience with just your five senses, and much of our victory in life as believers will depend on our ability to connect with and see what cannot be seen. So let me just do this for a few moments this morning, okay? I'm gonna share with you three things about seeing the unseen, or three things about living above sea level that's important for you to know that I think will serve us well. Number one, you need to know that tuning in is required if you wanna turn it up. You gotta tune in if you wanna turn it up. Again, Bible says there's two things. There's a very real visible material world, and there's an invisible spiritual world, and they are constantly coexisting side by side, and it would be a major mistake to deny the spirit world exists simply because we can't see it. It would be like a blind man denying the sun exists because he can't see it. It would be like a blind man saying the moon's not real because he cannot view it. Give you an example. Right now in this room, right now in this room,

there are sports, music, drama, world news, all sorts of entertainment floating in the air. They're right here in front of you. You just can't see them because you're not tuned in to them. But if I were to abandon the old flat screen cable and satellite, and I brought in, this is gonna date me, one of them old box TVs. You know what came on the big box TVs? Remember the antennas were attached to every one? We called them rabbit ears. If I was to set it up here, pick up the rabbit ears, hold them out, start dialing a little bit, everything that I just told you about sports, entertainment, and music would immediately become visible on that screen. Why? Because they are floating around via radio waves, but you can't see them until, are you with me? You can't see them until you tune in to them. It doesn't mean they're not there. They're there, but you're not aware of it until you become receptive and tuned in. This is why it's so important we grow in Christ, that we grow closer and deeper in the spirit of God. The more you grow in Christ as a believer, the more tuned into the spirit of God you become, the more aware of the unseen is there, the more you live out of an eternal perspective, and the more victory comes to your home. Things change, man.

I'm telling you, things change. See, and if you're not tuned in the spirit, everything's just a little fuzzy. This is static. Even here, even at church, it'll be fuzzy and a little static. See, if you're not tuned into the spirit, all you're gonna see is some dude standing up here giving some theological speech. All you're gonna see are just some people who can play guitars like bangers and sing out of the, I mean, all you're seeing is musicians, and you're hearing good vocalists, but that's it. You've missed, but when you're tuned into the spirit of God, see, you see more than that. You understand more than that. If you're tuned in, what you see is the glory of God radiating into your life through the gospel and his preached word. You see the presence of God flowing into our hearts and lives through worship as we sing and declare his truth. When you're tuned into the spirit, you don't see offering as just another financial transaction in life. You see it for what it is, a holy moment of gratitude and worship where we get the opportunity to bless the Lord who has given us so much with our very first and our best. Being tuned into the spirit matters. It matters because it changes the way you see,

what you're seeing, and now everything shifts in a completely different direction, so it starts. You gotta tune in, man. If you don't learn to tune in, you're just missing it. You're just missing it, but when you tune in, you get to turn it up, and when you turn it up, everything begins to change. Let me show you this. Bible also teaches us, secondly, that he tells us this unseen world or this eternal perspective is to be a source to us, that we should embrace it as a source of strength in life. God's word not only teaches us to believe in it, but he's literally telling us to learn to depend on it. It becomes an invaluable resource in the different times of life. Living with a spiritual and eternal perspective strengthens us, let me just give you a few. Number one, it strengthens us in times of trouble, because I don't know if you know this or not, trouble coming. You're either in a storm, coming out of a storm, or headed to a storm. I'm sorry to tell you the bad news. I'm not being pessimistic. I'm just telling you the way life is. You know it's true. That's not doom and gloom, that's just we live in a fallen, broken world. But the Bible tells us that we have not been left alone

and that we have a source of strength in those times of trouble. Let's go back to 2 Corinthians 4. I'm gonna go back a little bit earlier in the chapter and I wanna pick it up in verse number three. Let me read you six verses here. I wanna show you something that Paul said about times of trouble and what living above sea level means. If the good news we preach is hidden, he said it's hidden only from people who are perishing. In other words, the world don't get it. The world don't see what we see, they don't understand what we understand, and because of it, they don't have the same kind of hope that we have. Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who do not believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the good news. They don't understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. You see, we don't go around, Paul said, preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, let there be light in the darkness, has made this light to shine in our hearts so that we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. And we now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves like fragile clay jars

containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. And then he says, here's the difference between those of us that know Christ, that live with an eternal perspective, and the world who doesn't have it. We're pressed on every side by troubles, but we're never crushed. We're perplexed, yeah. There's gonna be moments we're confused, but we're never driven to ultimate despair. Oh yeah, we're hunted down, but we're never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are never ever destroyed. Why? He said, because we see what the world can't see. We don't react to trouble the way the world reacts to trouble. We don't give up, give in, lose heart. Just because difficult moments will come, we may be knocked down, but we are never knocked out. Why? Verse 17, for this light, momentary affliction. What he's saying is, because we understand that we do not live for the temporal, we live for the eternal, and no matter what's going wrong in your life, we know it will not last. It will not stand.

It will not always be this way. I don't care how bad it is. It will, it's fleeting, and it's going away, and it will be swallowed up one day in all of eternity, and over there, it'll be no more dying, no more crying, no more pain, no more separation. We know this preparing for us an eternal way to glory. We look not to the things that are seen, but to the things that are unseen, for the things that are seen are transient. They're passing away. It's fleeting, man. It's going away, but the things that are unseen, they're eternal, and they're everlasting, and we live there. We live our lives there. So in times of trouble, we can find hope when everyone else is hopeless. We can find the ability to stand even in the moments we don't fully understand because we don't live for the moment. We live for eternity and out of eternity. Number two, he said that it's a source of strength to us in times of fear, in times of fear, because I know what it's about. Sometimes it can just feel like the world and the devil are ganging up on us, and fear and anxiety can grip our hearts, but when you're able to see the unseen,

it changes everything. I love the story in the Old Testament about the prophet Elisha. At this particular place in the book of 2 Kings, Israel is at war with a neighboring country called Aram, and every time the king of Aram would make secret plans and strategize against Israel, God would just tell Elisha what was going on, and Elisha would just go to the king of Israel and say, hey, man, this will give you a heads up. They're laying in wait over here at wherever this is, and after like 10 times of the king of Aram not being able to get the one up on Israel, he finally concludes, I got a mole in the camp, dude. I got a double agent. Somebody here is a traitor to Aram. There's no way these people know that we're coming. Something's going on, and he calls everybody together in 2 Kings chapter six. I love this. Watch this. The king of Aram became very upset, and he said, demanding, which one of you is a traitor, man? Who has been informing the king of Israel of my plans? One guy stood up and said, it's not us, my lord the king. One of the officers replied, you ever heard of this cat, Elisha? He's tuned in, dude, on a completely different level. He's not just another prophet in Israel. Something's going on with this guy that's different.

He said, it's the prophet in Israel. He tells the king of Israel even the words you speak in the privacy of your bedroom. We ain't bugged you. God bugged you. Go and find out where he is, the king said, so I can send troops to seize him. Report came back, Elisha's at Dothan. That's not Alabama, by the way, in case y'all were wondering. So one night the king of Aram sent a great army with many chariots and horses to surround the city. And when the servant of the man of God, this is a servant now, he gets up early, and he goes outside. There were troops, horses, and chariots everywhere. And he screams to Elisha, oh sir, what are we gonna do now? The young man cried to Elisha. Elisha said, ah, don't worry about it. Don't be afraid. How can you tell me not to be afraid? Because there's more with us than with them. And then Elisha prayed. Track with me now. Oh Lord, open his eyes. Lord, right now he can only see what can be seen. I'm asking you, God, to show him why I'm not worried about this. I'm asking you to show him

why I can sip my coffee in pure peace. I'm asking you to let him know why I have not the slightest bit of anxiety or fear like he does. Would you let him see what you have shown me? And the Lord opened the young man's eyes, and when he looked up, he saw the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire. Ladies and gentlemen, when the scripture tells us to fear not, it is not simply an encouraging platitude. It's a declaration of something more. It is God saying to you, if you just knew what I knew, and you could see what I could see, you would realize that I've got you, and there's never any reason for you to feel anxious or fearful. I've never failed you before, and I'm not about to start now. We're just saying about it. He won't, baby. He won't fail. He never has, and he never will. And listen, here's what I wanna stop and say before I move on. I know that with this many people in this room, and this many people watching online, and this many people at correctional facilities, some of you may be going through

the deepest, darkest storms of your entire life, and you feel like you are surrounded by the enemy. My prayer for you is the prayer of Elisha. Oh, God, would you open their eyes so that they could see they are surrounded by the grace of God, that you are surrounded by the goodness of God, that you've never been left or forsaken, and he never will. That was the pledge and the promise. I will be with you all the way, even to the end of the age. God, open their eyes, that you may find peace that passes understanding. I gotta move, third. He said it's a source of strength in times of temptation, in times of temptation. It's the book of Exodus that first introduces us to Moses and how his mother hid him in the bulrushes, the bascula, the bank of the river, for fear of his life, and Pharaoh's daughter finds him. He grows up in Pharaoh's house, literally is embraced as a son, even though he's a Hebrew. He is highlighted in the hall of fame of faith, but he's not highlighted for what you think he might be highlighted for. I find that interesting. He's not highlighted because of his 40 years

of exceptional leadership to Israel, for being a great shepherd and leading them through the desert, and going through all kinds of hardships, and standing even at one moment between them and God. God got sick of it one day and said, that's it, man. These stiff-necked, hard-hearted people, I'm just gonna kill them and start over with you. And Moses said, God, if you blot them out, you're gonna have to blot me out too. Now, that's a pastor, bro. That's a shepherd. And God said, all right, I'm gonna appease them for your sake. Your compassion saved them today. This meant, Moses was a next-level leader, and he's not commended just because he led the nation well, or because of his many exploits, which are many. He is commended in the hall of fame of faith for this. Watch this. It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, he refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter. He chose to share the oppression of God's people instead of enjoying the fleeting pleasures of sin that Egypt could provide. He thought it was better to suffer for the sake of Christ than to own the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking ahead to his great reward. Don't miss verse 27.

It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king's anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on him who was invisible. He made up his mind he wasn't gonna just live at sea level. He was gonna live above sea level, and he was gonna see what could not be seen because he kept his eyes on that which is unseen, and because he was able to keep his eyes on that which is unseen. See, what the Bible's saying is he could have had all of it for the rest of his life. He never had to leave Egypt. He could have had all the wealth, all the position, all the power, all the prestige, all the pleasure, and he walked away from it to embrace the calling of God on his life. He was able to do the unthinkable because he was able to see the invisible. Because he lived above sea level, it changed the trajectory of not only his life, but the life of Israel forever. Number three, and finally, you gotta know this. When we talk about living by this eternal perspective, when we talk about living by this kind of faith, the Bible says the just shall live. by faith, not just what you can see, but seeing what you can't see. That kind of eternal perspective, listen man, it's a fight.

It's a daily fight. What I've just preached to you, what I've just described to you, this kind of eternal perspective will not happen automatically. It will only happen in your life intentionally. Because the enemy is trying to steal our perspective away from us. And our ability to not live above sea level. There are three enemies, in fact, let me just show you. I got seven minutes. There's three enemies to your faith. Three enemies to your faith and my faith that work against us, that we constantly are in daily battle with, that never take a day off. These three things never take a day off. And our ability to live in victory means that our faith has to overcome them. The first one is appearances, because we always struggle with what we can't see. We just struggle with it. We all do, you do, I do. We struggle with what we can't see. Faith is about trusting what God said, even when we do not have physical proof it exists. Remember when Jesus rose from the dead? The Bible says that he appeared to over 500 people and they saw him alive. And one of those groups of people

he met with his disciples again, but there were only 11 of them. One of them was missing. And when the other 11 found this 12th guy named Thomas, they said, bro, he's alive. Thomas said, a Greek word, hagio washio. I don't believe it, for a minute. I don't believe it, I don't believe it. I was there. I saw him die. We took his body down, we put it in Joseph's tomb. What are you talking about? He's dead, man. They said, no, dude, we've seen him. Thomas, remember these famous words? I'll tell you this, until I can put my finger in the nail prints in his hand and thrust my hand in his side, I will not believe. Bible says at that exact moment, Jedi Jesus shows up. He just goes through the wall because he could do stuff like that. Okay, so all of a sudden when he just, right? And Thomas, okay, now Thomas don't need to be feeling no wounds. Bible says he falls down and goes, my Lord and my God. Remember what Jesus said to him? Jesus said, all you believe because now you've seen me, but blessed are those, Thomas, who believe and have never seen me. Blessed are those that just receive my word

is forever settled in the heavens and that it is true to the nth degree and that every word of it has been inspired by me and they take my word as all the proof they ever need because God said it, we believe it and it's all the proof we have to have. This is what he meant. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. It's the evidence of things not so hoped for. It's the thing, I trust it and it changes everything. But appearances will always fight against us because we'll go, man, I can't see it. I just can't see it. Yeah, there's gonna be a bunch of stuff that you're gonna have to see in the spirit of God. Number two, emotions are one of the enemies against our faith, why? Because we struggle with what we can't feel. We just do and I'll be honest with you, man, too often we are a slave to our emotions. We just are, but if you let your life be dictated by your emotions or you do only what you feel like doing, you are already defeated because there are really only two options here. You must learn to either master your emotions or be mastered by your emotions, one of two. You're either gonna be mastered by them or learn to master them and listen, emotions have their place, they're a gift of God, but they are the shallowest part of the human condition

and God does not do his deepest work in the shallowest part. He does his great work in the depths of our spirit and our spirit is intended to lead the way, not our flesh. How I feel has nothing to do with how good God is. How I feel has nothing to do with the truth of his word. How I feel today in the moment has nothing to do with the grace, the protection and the goodness of God. I love what David wrote, it's a little caveat, but you can't skip over it. We read it sometimes as it's just this little thing tucked into there that it's a repetitive verb that he throws back in in Psalm 103. David said, remember these words? Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all that is within me. Bless his holy name. He's not just being repetitive, he's actually speaking to his soul. He's talking to himself. Why? Because he made up his mind that he was not gonna let his soul dictate to him how he felt he was gonna live his life out of his spirit man. Let me break it down for you. You were made in the image of God. God is a triune God, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. You are comprised of three things as well. Body, soul and spirit. With your body, you are world conscious. With your soul, you are self conscious.

With your spirit, you are God conscious. And what David was saying is, I'm not gonna let my soul. Tell my spirit how I'm gonna respond today. Are you listening soul? Bless the Lord. That's what he was saying. Are you listening soul? I'm speaking to you soul Bless the Lord and bless his holy name there's gonna be moments in your life that you're gonna have to take control over your soul and lean into your spirit and that's what allows you to live from an eternal perspective and Let your spirit run the show not your soul because you won't like where it ends up Because your soul will say the circumstances are not good. I'm fretful worried and anxious This is not going to turn out but my spirit man says yes, it will God is still good He is in total control and can be trusted and we know that all things work together for the good to them that love God To them that are called according to his purpose settled Settled Now you can breathe again Now you can go on again. You don't want your soul running the show. It ain't never gonna go good from there third one Reason we struggle with what we can't rationalize It's one of the world's biggest problem man, too If two plus two has to always equal four to you for God to make sense. You're dead It's so it's over because listen the gospel itself doesn't make sense a Holy God Who never sinned Bible says neither is there shadow of turning and his sinless son who never did anything and his creation spit in his face disobeyed God Deserved death hell in the grave and instead of giving us what we deserve sent his sinless Spotless only son and then poured out all of his wrath on him on the cross so that you and I could go free Hey, hey, hey Don't ever think that's gonna make sense It doesn't it doesn't man. You wouldn't do it for me. I

Wouldn't do it for you I'm just being honest But a holy God Look this is why there's a scripture in 1st John chapter 4. I think it's a fat chapter 4 where The Apostles trying to search for a superlative To somehow describe the great love of God and it's almost like when I read it It's almost like he it's almost like he pinned something and then redacted it. He pinned something and redacted It's almost like he said the love of God is incredible. That's not enough. The love of God is immense That's not good enough either. The love of God is magnanimous. The love of God is soft The love of God is it's almost like he's frustrated and finally he just put right Caesar. What manner of love is this? How do you even describe this? How do you even put how do you put flesh on how do you how do you fathom this You can't You just have to believe it And it's true and that he did it for you. We're talking about rationale one more John chapter 6 Jesus is surrounded by a massive crowd of people he's about to feed the 5,000 and the Bible says that he turned to Philip because he was about to test Philip one of his followers He knew what he was gonna do, but he just wanted to test Philip So the countryside is full of thousands and thousands of people and Jesus just turns to Philip and he goes hey, where do you think we can go buy enough bread to feed all these people and Philip said what are you? What are you talking about? And he says this in John 6 He said Lord 200 denarii worth of bread wouldn't feed this many people. That was eight months worth of wages He said eight months worth of daily wages would not even come close to feeding this amount of people that's that's ratchet That's rational. That's logical The Bible says Jesus was about to teach Philip an unforgettable lesson that when it comes to God You must never let your heart be limited by logic When it comes to God, you must never let your heart be limited by logic. Why? Logic has its place

Faith is not in denial of logic faith is just bigger than logic. It supersedes logic. It says yes I understand what you're saying But even even now even because God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think he's not like Us he's different and because we know he's different and he has all power in heaven and earth Even though I see the problem. I believe his power can supersede the problem It's The kind of faith Martha had I love I always love this line Because I love to ask people do you have do you have that little clause in your heart? Remember when Lazarus died they had buried him. He'd already been dead four days Jesus was only a day and a half's journey away He could have got there in plenty of time, but he came late on purpose And when he gets there in John 11 and 21 Martha walks right up to him and says First let me tell you that if you'd have been here I know my brother wouldn't have died and it's almost like she's fixing to get on to Jesus but then she turns the corner and you see her great faith she said but even now I know you ain't like everybody else and I know God hears you when you pray I know you are the son of the Living God and all power is given unto you in heaven and earth and even though he's been dead four days God here's what I know even now he can live again you got to say that to yourself sometimes I heard the report I see what's going on in my life I see how this is playing out and it doesn't look good but God even now I'm not gonna live on sea level I'm gonna live above sea level because when the invisible becomes visible the impossible becomes possible father I thank you
