Live from Michael’s Unit in Texas, Jeremiah Porter brings a powerful and timely word from Nehemiah 6—calling the men to remain steadfast in their assignment and anchored in their identity.

In a chapter marked by distraction, opposition, and pressure, Nehemiah refuses to come down from the wall. Despite repeated attempts to pull him away, he responds with clarity and conviction: “I am doing a great work and I cannot come down.” This message echoes that same charge to the men—know your position, stay on the wall, and don’t abandon what God has entrusted to you.

Jeremiah challenges them to recognize that the enemy often doesn’t attack with force first, but with distraction—trying to get them to step away from their purpose. The call is to discern the voice of God over the noise, to remain disciplined in their daily walk, and to not rush the process God is working in them.

Transformation doesn’t happen overnight. God is building something—brick by brick, day by day. And just like Nehemiah, the men are reminded: what God is doing in you is too important to walk away from.
